New images and scans from Newtype and Animedia showcasing the anime ‘Fairy Tail’. Looks quite similar to its manga counterpart, probably just some minor changes to keep the production cost low. A gorgeous spectacle never-the-less.

No news on how long the anime will run for, but it’s scheduled for 12th October and its shaping up to be perhaps 2009’s most anticipated series yet (although the manga has been quite dull recently). Click the article for more images.

A mais recente edição da revista Animedia Magazine trouxe em suas páginas um mangá one-shot entitulado Goulart Knights, mas o que pouca gente sabia era de que se tratava da apresentação do novo projeto do Lantis, um selo da Bandai Visual, que já trabalhou nas animações de Angel Sanctuary e Haibane Renmei e agora está prestes a lançar seu primeiro anime original.

Apesar de não estar claro se Goulart Knights será uma série pra tv ou OVA, o plot inicial já foi revelado: um grupo de quatro rapazes usam seus poderes paranormais para defenderem nosso planetinha (o Japão?) de seres misteriosos conhecidos como Archons.

Se a premissa da história não é lá muito original, ao menos poderá render muita porrada e ação. Isso se sobrar um tempinho entre a maquiagem, depilação, limpeza de pele, clareamento de dentes…

Well, Christmas break is over now and it’s that time again. Everything just seemed to go by so quickly. I’m not really looking forward to school but I hope I can get back into it easily. (Since I’m homeschooled, my mom usually checks my books before school starts up again but she hasn’t yet… ^^;; ) I was a bit lazy on my break I have to admit, but I really loved the break since I did school all summer long. Now, just to mention a few things I got with my Christmas money and what I did during my break.

As you know, I did pay for figma Fate and my 1/8 scale Miku Hatsune which took a big chuck of my money. I ended up also getting quite a bit of manga. (My friend gave me some too for Christmas. <3 ) Borders had (and still is currently) a sale if you bought one manga you get the other half off. Since my parents ranked up quite a few borders bucks from shopping there for Christmas, it was great. Got lots of manga for a lot cheaper.

Next, I decided it was time for another Wii game because I haven’t bought one since Brawl was released. I was always very interested in the Tales games, so I ended up getting Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World. I have to say, I enjoyed the game so much I played it for hours. I also knew I can hardly ever play video games during school so I knew I better play it while I had a chance. I’m currently almost done with chapter 5. Once I get more money, I’m hunting down the first Symphonia. <3

And for the rest of my money went into my trip to Mitsuwa. (A Japanaese marketplace for those who don’t know.) I was able to buy: Shugo Chara 2009 calendar, Shugo Chara vol. 8 special edition, Animedia magazine, Ribon magazine, and lots of Japanese snacks. yum.

I have to hurry and go to bed for school now, I’ll update this post tomorrow with pictures I meant to upload. And Happy belated New Year! haha.

Kuro Shitsuji (Black Butler)

Se ha reportado que el número de Agosto de Animage Magazine confirmará el desarrollo de una adaptación anime para la televisión de la serie bishonen Kuro Shitsuji (Black Butler) de Toboso Yana. La historia trata sobre Sebastian Michaels, el mayordomo de la familia Phantomhive, una de las familias nobles de Inglaterra. Sebastian posee un gran conocimiento, modales, talento, y muchas otras habilidades, pero se ven en la situación de servir también a su maestro de 12 años. Vistiendo siempre con piezas grises, y con un gusto extraño por el té rojo más fuerte del mundo, esta pareja, maestro y mayordomo tendrán que convivir juntos. Edición: La serie publica en la revista Monthly G Fantasy de Square Enix desde 2006, y ya cuenta con 4 volúmenes en su haber. La revista Animedia informó que la serie estaría lista para la temporada de otoño de este año. Así mismo anunció también que Clannad After Story también estará lista para la misma temporada.

Dake Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei

En otras noticias, el sitio web de la serie ha anunciado el estreno de dos episodios llamados “Dake Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei”, directas a DVD. El primer episodio saldrá en Octubre 17, en conjunto con un paquete de edición limitada del volumen 15 del manga. La serie trata sobre un profesor desesperado y con tendencias suicidas y sus situaciones variadas con sus alumnas. Serie muy divertida.
