Los Angelenos will have a chance to share and learn from former employees of the Santa Susana Field Laboratory and other related facilities at Aerospace Cancer Museum of Education’s (ACME) Employee History Day, Sunday, October 25, 2009, from 1 PM to 6 PM. This Event is FREE, OPEN to the public and refreshments will be provided.

As we appreciate the remarkable history of Santa Susana Field Laboratory’s 3,000-acre toxic Superfund site at the eastern edge of the San Fernando Valley, it will help us understand what’s needed for a thorough environmental cleanup to address employee health situations for today. ACME’s Employee History Day is set in a backdrop which houses thousands of historical maps, photographs and interactive displays of the Field Lab in a museum setting. William Preston Bowling and Christina Walsh, ACME’s founders, are spokespeople for convincing proof that the highly toxic chemicals used at the Santa Susana Field Laboratory (such as TCE or radionuclides) have lots to do with hundreds of cancer patients concentrated near Chatsworth. And 50 years ago, in July 1959, the Sodium Reactor Experiment located at Atomics International’s Santa Susana Field Laboratory facility melted down, one of nine nuclear accidents at the same site. According to Aerospace Cancer Museum of Education’s Website, the Los Angeles Times reported that one accident released 240 times more radioactivity than did 1979’s Three-Mile Island. All this took place within 20 casual minutes’ driving distance from of the most highly-traveled freeway in the U.S., next door to millions of Angeleno residents and workers.

The Annenberg Foundation-funded, nonprofit Aerospace Cancer Museum of Education is in Chatsworth, CA. Along with former Santa Susana Field Laboratory employees, Walsh and Bowling will be available to relate the extensive histories of companies involved at the Santa Susana Field Lab, including divisions of North American Aviation, Atomics International, Rocketdyne, Boeing and NASA. The U.S. government also owned contractor-run facilities at the Field Lab such as the Energy Technology Engineering Center.

Cara Peck is one of our distinguished speakers for the upcoming panel and in her interview below; she offers her personal testimony along with a brief introduction to careers in federal service.

Please describe your career path into federal service.  
Cara:. I started college with the intentions of becoming a veterinarian, graduated undergrad with all the requirements (chemistry, physics, biology….oh my!) and an Animal Science degree but then decided vet school was not for me. Instead, I attended UC Davis where I got a masters degree in Horticulture and Agronomy. While earning this degree, I also studied a lot of sustainable land management ideas and environmental policy. This coursework combined with the interest I have always had in the the mission of the Environmental Protection Agency and a desire to work in the field of federal environmental protection. Straight out of grad school, I was hired to the EPA’s Region 9 office in San Francisco where I worked on resource conservation and recycling.

What is your current role now?  
Cara: After three years working in a job I loved, I really started missing working on agriculture issues, which is really my passion. In January of this year I moved to our regional Agriculture Team. I am currently working on the climate change implications of the agriculture industry. Basically, I’m trying to figure out where the majority of emissions from our food system are emitted, work to reduce these emissions, and also help producers adapt to growing food in changing climates.

What is the coolest part about your job?
Cara: I would say that the coolest part of my job now is getting to work on cutting edge issues. Climate change is going to have dramatic effects on everything we do and it’s neat to think that in some small way I am having a beneficial impact. In addition, I am really passionate about agriculture and food issues, and it’s great to have a job working on my passion! The other neat thing about this job is that there are so many opportunities to travel, work in  another position (even in a different area of the country)for a few months, good training opportunities and other great benefits.

Why should a student who is approaching graduation consider a career in the federal government?  
Cara: A job in the public sector is something worth considering for a number of reasons. The work is interesting and important, the pay is good (much better than one might think!), the benefits are great and although it might sound cheesy, you get the great feeling of serving your country. An added benefit is that in this economy, a job in the public sector is much more secure than a lot of jobs in the private sector. Plus, there are so many opportunities to work in different areas of the country, which is fun, especially as a young person.

Given the current economic climate, what do you recommend for students who want to get their foot in the door, what can they do now to be competitive for employment upon graduation?
Cara: In order to be competitive upon graduation, I would recommend getting all the experience you can. Internships and volunteering are great opportunities. If you are looking to federal service, having experience working for a government is great. This includes local and state governments. Even if the job that you apply for after college is not the same as your experience, seeing that you have worked in some sort of government setting before will be an advantage. I also recommend getting the most out of college and taking advantage of all the opportunities you can. This will not only help you with getting a job, but is fun!

Who funds these frequently used watch dogs of the truth or accuracy? Directly or indirectly, how do they finance their ops? Soros, Annenberg, what other revenue sources? Again journalism does not dig into the obvious because it does not suit their lockstep agenda.

There was one high note during the President’s speech to the joint session of Congress: Rep. Wilson’s shoutout, “You Lie!”

Joe Wilson (R-S.C.) said what over half the country has been thinking.  The President DID lie.  Since the Dems have voted down amendments requiring verification of citizenship, the bill WILL cover illegals.  Yes, Congressman Wilson was right to apologize for the uncivility of his remark, but NOT for telling the truth!  I applaud the gentleman from South Carolina because he was heard and his comment was recorded into the record.  I’m glad he was honorable to apologize to Obama and that the President reciprocated.  But is should have ended there.  He didn’t insult the Congress and they should learn to keep their traps closed at the RIGHT times for a change.

I wanted to hear four words from Mr. Obama: America, I hear you.  He, of course, went in the other direction.  This speech was no different than the 26 previous ones.  Our president doesn’t hear us. Let’s get louder!

The President has NOT welcomed conservatives to the table.  There has been little – if any – bipartisan input into the health care bill.   Conservatives have some pretty good, low-or-no cost measures on the table – HSA expansion, tort reform, dropping state lines – and we KEEP being accused of not bringing anything to the table when we’re not being offered a spot.  The President has NOT met with the Republicans on this issue. We are NOT being listened to.  He does NOT practice what he preaches.  Yes, there is some idiotic language coming out from the right that are essentially “slippery slope” arguments – which could basically be cured with specific language in the bill that keeps being voted down (paying for abortions, illegal immigration, etc…).  Why the Dems keep saying it’s not in the bill when it’s right there in BLACK AND WHITE…

The GOP has been frozen out of the House debate from day one. In the Senate, the 3 GOP Senators that make up the gang of 6 were given a false choice of the Public Option or Co-opts (i.e. a public Option), or a trigger to a Public Option.  That’s it.  Nothing, Nada.  Pro Life lawmakers were either lied to, or told to get lost.  To those who disagreed, Pelosi labeled them Nazis; the President called them liars, and Reid called them UnAmerican.  So much for your “civil discourse”.  Don’t these political self-appointed-nobility realize that THEY WORK FOR US?!!!

The roots of this shady/wacko conglomerate go back to the early 1960’s and Tom Hayden, who asserted “[t]he allocation of resources must be based on social needs” and “and so-called participatory democracy.”

Here is more history that illuminates Obama’s radical associations.

After getting off criminal charges on a legal technicality, two of the group’s leaders, would-be mass murderers William Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn, decided to poison the minds of the young by turning them against the American system. “But not all SDS members embraced violence. Among those who rejected terror as an instrument of political persuasion was ACORN founder Wade Rathke, who was an SDS draft resistance organizer. Rathke also organized for the National Welfare Rights Organization (NWRO), an organization whose members physically occupied welfare offices, intimidating social workers and demanding every government welfare dollar that they thought the law entitled them to.”

Marxist sociologists Frances Fox Piven and Richard A. Cloward “developed a model of political and economic subversion that called upon activists to pack the welfare rolls to spread dependency, bankrupt the government and cause uprisings against the capitalist system. They outlined plans for a welfare rights movement in a 1966 Nation article titled ‘The Weight of the Poor: A Strategy to End Poverty.’”  This crisis strategy proved so effective to recruit the poor onto the welfare rols that “[f]rom 1965 to 1974, the number of single-parent households on welfare soared from 4.3 million to 10.8 million, despite mostly flush economic times [according to Sol Stern].” 

Rathke (1970) developed ACORN’s strategy to carry out the agenda of welfare entitlement, making “ACORN’s focus on registering those dependent on government programs is constituency-building that is consistent with the Cloward-Piven Strategy. Its voter registration drives in Louisiana, for example, have focused on registering people at government offices that deal with welfare, unemployment benefits and food stamps.”

Vadum goes on to show how closely the Weather Underground and Acorn are related:

“siblings who took different paths to radical change—one through violence and terror, the other through protest and politics—both drew inspiration from Chicago activist Saul Alinsky… (Alinsky) praised Lucifer as the ‘first radical’ who ‘rebelled against the establishment and did it so effectively that he at least won his own kingdom.’

“Alinsky said his book was ‘a step toward a science of revolution.’ He acknowledged, ‘The Prince’ was written by Machiavelli for the Haves on how to hold power. ‘Rules for Radicals’ is written for the Have-nots on how to take it away.

“Alinsky believed that in political combat almost anything goes: ‘In war the end justifies almost any means.’ He wrote, ‘The practical revolutionary will understand … [that] in action, one does not always enjoy the luxury of a decision that is consistent both with one’s individual conscience and the good of mankind.’”

Vadum’s article continues with Hillary Clinton and others associated with this socialist agenda.  It is absolutely abhorrent that these people are now our ruling class in this country and they pervade our government.  Read the rest of Matthew’s article.  Let’s figure out how to get rid of this scourge and all the yes-men connected.

To the Congress:
The U.S. Postal Service was established in 1775 – you have had 234 years to get it right; it is broke.
Social Security was established in 1935 – you have had 74 years to get it right; it is broke.
Fannie Mae was established in 1938 – you have had 71 years to get it right; it is broke.
The “War on Poverty” started in 1964 – you have had 45 years to get it right; $1 trillion of our money is confiscated each year and transferred to “the poor”; it hasn’t worked and our entire country is broke.
Medicare and Medicaid were established in 1965 – you’ve had 44 years to get it right; they are broke.
Freddie Mac was established in 1970 – you have had 39 years to get it right; it is broke.
Trillions of dollars were spent in the massive political payoffs called TARP, the “Stimulus”, the Omnibus Appropriations Act of 2009… none show any signs of working, although ACORN appears to have found a new source: the American taxpayer.
And finally, to set a new record:
“Cash for Clunkers” was established in 2009 and went broke in 2009! It took cars (that were the best some people could afford) and replaced them with high-priced and less-affordable cars, mostly Japanese. A good percentage of the profits went out of the country. And the American taxpayers take the hit for Congress’ generosity in burning three billion more of our dollars on failed experiments.
So with a perfect 100% failure rate and a record that proves that “services” you shove down our throats are failing faster and faster, you want Americans to believe you can be trusted with a government-run health care system?

Alternative Plan:

1. Tort reform – bring down medical malpractice costs – frivolous lawsuits, loser pays, limits on mental anguish.
2. Abolish the “state line” mandate – allow purchase of policies from anywhere within country.
3. Allow the consumer to “cherry pick” coverage – cafeteria plan for the options they want for their family.
4. Take administration burden off the employer – eliminates anchoring coverage to the job.
5. Health savings accounts (FSAs) - own dollars, pre-tax, no limits, rolled over, all medical expenses.

If these solutions were applied, there would be significant savings in health care costs.  But it’s not about savings, is it?  No, it’s about government control over every aspect of our lives.  They are not content to G.M., AIG, Fannie and Freddie, many banks, etc.  There is 1/6 of our nation’s economy out there up for grabs.    www.myteamusa.org

Back in October of 2008, when the subject of Obama’s Constitutional eligibility to be president of the United States was just a blip on the radar screen of public awareness, I wrote an article about how easy it was to find my then -92-year-old mother’s birth certificate.

Frankly, I didn’t think finding my mother’s birth certificate was possible, given the fact that she had been born in a farmhouse in Storrs, CT, along with nine of her 10 siblings, to parents who didn’t speak English. Despairing that she would never be “qualified” to receive the care [in a nursing home} that she desperately needed, I set about to find the document, which I was sure had vanished in the unreliable record-keeping of 1913. When I called the third number, I explained to the woman who answered the phone that I was “asking something impossible.” I gave her my mother’s first name and her father’s last name. Within four minutes, she said, “Here it is!” When I expressed my amazement, the woman said: “That’s nothing…we’re routinely asked to find birth certificates from the 1800s, and we do that all the time!” Total time it took me to find my mother’s 1913, born-in-a-farmhouse birth certificate: 10 minutes!

Obama was born not in 1913, like my mother, but in 1961—or perhaps in 1957, according to his MySpace page, which would make him 52, born supposedly in Hawaii before it became a state in 1959. So it was quite curious that not one cyber-sleuth could find an authentic, verifiable copy of his original vault copy birth certificate. I’m not talking about the faux version Obama posted on his website, which was deemed the real thing by FactCheck.org, a “truth”-detecting site that is sponsored by the Annenberg Foundation, the same foundation that hired Obama and his terrorist pal William Ayers and gave them millions of dollars for a research project in Chicago. In other words, the least credible source!

Even more significant is that no one in the media thought Obama’s missing birth certificate worth even casual mention. Their thinking seemed to be: If we’re not going to check on his eligibility to be president, then why question why the other crucial documents were—and continue to be—sealed? For instance: his baptism certificate; elementary, high school, college and graduate school transcripts; visa(s); selective service record; alleged multiple Social Security numbers; Illinois attorney’s license; Illinois State Senate records; law practice client list; Univ. of Chicago scholarly articles; financial records while a community organizer in Chicago; and medical records. I’m also curious about why Michelle Obama’s law license was suspended in 1993 by the Illinois Supreme Court, but then again she wasn’t running for president.

Instead, the media were frantically busy trying to divert public attention away from those pesky things known as credentials with gossip-driven tabloid reportage of Sarah Palin and Joe the Plumber in order to avoid the bigger-than-Watergate potential scandal of whether or not Obama was eligible—according to the U.S. Constitution—to become President of the United States!

NOW WE KNOW WHY
In an explosive interview by Dr. Laurie Roth on her syndicated West Coast radio show on August 7th, Douglas Hagmann—a respected journalist, director of the Northeast Intelligence Network and longtime private investigator, and Judi McLeod, a prolific journalist and the managing editor of Canada Free Press—the reason for the media blackout about the birth-certificate issue was nothing less than organized Mafia-like dire threats to members of the media issued not only from the heads of major TV and radio stations but also from Federal Communication Commission officials!

According to Hagmann and McLeod, who conducted a nine-month investigation and documented their findings scrupulously, after Obama was elected but before he was inaugurated:

•A major TV talk-show host reported that he was ordered not to raise the birth certificate issue or risk losing his job.
•FCC officials threatened to yank broadcasting licenses, break up conglomerates, and make the enactment of the Fairness Doctrine “look mild” in comparison to other consequences.
•In at least one corporate TV headquarters, memos were circulated to all on-air employees not to mention the birth certificate issue, as well as other specific subjects like Obama’s Illinois lawyer’s license, his college records, etc., under both implied and explicit threats.
During the interview, Hagmann and McLeod—who never mentioned a particular network by name—alluded to e-mails and other evidence in their possession, copies of which, they said, were secreted in several locations. But they did tantalize listeners with descriptions of meeting with “sources” outside of St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York City, a high-placed contact looking nervously over his shoulder, references to directives and warnings given by “those at the top,” and the undisguised threat of one executive to his underlings: “This is serious, and so will the consequences be if anyone chooses not to be a team player with this.”

This comes as no surprise to Fox watchers who have noticed that the Stalinist-style censorship of the Obama regime is already here. This couldn’t possibly be because of the healthy shares of stock the Saudis bought in Fox, could it? If so, why would the Saudis care so much about quashing potentially damning revelations about Obama? Have they also bought shares in Obama?

Come to think of it, who exactly paid the tuition for Obama’s stint at Harvard Law School? What role did Obama’s long-time friend, Khalid al-Mansour, a key advisor to a Saudi billionaire, play? Writer Kenneth Timmerman describes al-Mansour as “well known within the black community as a lawyer, an orthodox Muslim, a black nationalist, an author, an international deal-maker, an educator, and an outspoken enemy of Israel.” This is not to omit that al-Mansour was originally contacted to intervene with Harvard on Obama’s behalf by Percy Sutton, former Manhattan Borough President and the lawyer of Malcolm X. Ah…the tangled web of it all!

Then there is the question of what role was played by Saudi Prince Alwaleed, the nephew of King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia? You remember Prince Alwaleed, who offered then-Mayor Rudy Giuliani $10 million after September 11 if he would only blame America for the terrorist attacks of which 15 of 19 perpetrators were Saudi Arabian—a “gift” the mayor promptly and with appropriate contempt rejected!

In short, what influence have the Saudis exerted on Fox to muzzle the issue of Obama’s birth certificate? I don’t ask this about the network TV channels or cable channels like CNN and MSNBC, which are still issuing daily hagiographies of Obama.

TIP OF THE ICEBERG
Just who has been sending “the message”? And how did it permeate not only the media, but also the once-respected U.S. Congress and the courts of our land, including the once-incorruptible Supreme Court? And what menacing forces made the once-courageous conservative media abandon their mission to expose rank corruption and collusion?

Two words: Money Talks!

If you’re a media mogul and you get word from the FCC that your license will be pulled immediately and irrevocably if you mention only three words—Obama’s birth certificate—poof! You send that word to your employees and tell them that their mega-salaries—in fact, their employment—are on the line.

If you’re a conservative talk-show host and you get your boss’s directive not to dare to mention only three words—Obama’s birth certificate—poof! Lips sealed; curiosity zero!

If the money thing doesn’t work, there’s always the threat thing, i.e., “going public” about tax records, health status, or family secrets. Or be audited by the IRS. Or be investigated by any number of regulatory agencies.

And if the money thing and the threat thing don’t work, how about being reminded of all those “accidents” and “unfortunate incidents”—broken kneecaps, missing children, “falls” from buildings, punctured tires—that resulted not in joblessness or embarrassment but in death?

We know that’s how the Mafia works. It’s also how political machines work. It’s also how community organizers work. Wasn’t it Obama himself who in 2008 said ’‘If They Bring a Knife…We Bring a Gun’‘ and in 2009 advised his followers to “Get in Their Faces!”?

So determined are Obama’s handlers to keep the facts of his parentage and place of birth out of the public domain that, as writer Chelsea Schilling has scrupulously documented, ¬†“the Federal Election Commission shows Obama’s campaign has made regular payments to Perkins Coie since Jan. 1, 2007—the month he formed a presidential exploratory committee and only weeks before he formally announced his candidacy for president—[and up to the present]—has paid Perkins Coie, a single law firm, $2.3 million…to crush eligibility lawsuits.”

But paying lawyers to quash the dozens of lawsuits that have challenged Obama’s eligibility still doesn’t answer the question of who exactly is behind the blanket blackout of the media, Congress and courts when it comes to Obama’s origins, parentage, credentials, indeed identity.

We certainly can’t attribute this massive power play to Obama himself. After all, while “owning” the Congress and the media, he is failing miserably to gain support for his two signature pieces of legislation, cap & tax and healthcare “reform.” No one that ineffectual—or, as Jonah Goldberg says, “astoundingly incompetent”—could possibly mute the media, castrate the Congress, and cow the courts.

And we can’t attribute the blackout to Obama’s union and community organizing buddies. While the former are quite expert at threatening members to fall in line…or else, and the latter have mastered standing outside polling places with glowering facial expressions and menacing Billy clubs, neither has the heft to have compelled the media to roll over, the Congress to say they “know nothing,” or the courts to load one side of the scales of justice with rocks and the other side with feathers.

A COUP D’´ETAT?
Scholars and historians have documented exhaustively the Left’s obsession with (1) the acquisition of power, and (2) transforming America from a free-market, Constitution-respecting, freedom-loving, God-embracing society into a Socialist-cum-Communist “share the wealth” collective that echoes the beliefs and “values” of their heroes Marx and Engels.

But it takes money to bring about the kind of poverty both Socialism and Communism deliver to their masses. The kind of money only a few at the top enjoy while they’d like the rest of us to wait on food lines and appear before death panels of impersonal state functionaries who decide if we’re worthy of antibiotics or surgery and, if not, convenient “go-to-sleep” pills.

The kind of money that “talks”—that can buy people off, finance revolutions, launder money, pay to rig voting machines, manipulate allies into positions of power (czars, anyone?), conveniently crash markets (as George Soros did in England in 1992, Asia in 1997, and, I believe, the U.S. in September 2008), make people disappear, make birth certificates and other vital records disappear and then make sure that an entire media, Congress and court system is terrified of “going there.”

We all know of the many multimillionaires and billionaires—including Soros, the Saudi royal family, et al—who contributed to Obama’s presidential campaign and continue to fund his leftist agenda, all of them with an ideological, religious, or personal stake in his remaining in power. And all of them part of a larger, more ubiquitous conspiracy—yes, conspiracy!—to conceal Obama’s origins and true parentage.

Among them, as JB Williams has documented, are “international socialists working through CPUSA – SPUSA and DSAUSA, funded by literally hundreds of leftist front-groups operating as special interest 527 organizations. Here’s a short list of the BIGGEST leftist front groups: America Coming Together – Joint Victory Campaign 2004 – Media Fund – Service Employees International Union – American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees – MoveOn.org – New Democrat Network – Sierra Club – EMILY’s List – AFL-CIO – League of Conservation Voters.”

Further, Williams asks: “Who spends an obscene $1-billion dollars to win a lousy $400,000-per-year job, and why?”

Richard Poe, award-winning journalist and New York Times-bestselling author, has written extensively on Soros and makes a good case that the Hungarian-born Jew and self-admitted Nazi collaborator is the primary brains and money behind Obama—and, I believe, his healthcare travesty. When President Bush was in office, Poe wrote that Soros talked openly of a “regime change” in the United States.

“What about our country offends Soros so deeply,” Poe asked, “that he would tell the BBC—during a time of war—that he means to use all of his power to `puncture the bubble of American supremacy’? Poe explained that Soros’s Open Society Foundation, founded in 1984, “has spent millions promoting a radical agenda that includes abortion, feminism, gun control, abolition of capital punishment, voting rights for felons, drug legalization, euthanasia and gay marriage rights…the Soros cult preaches secularism, the godless faith of a world without nations, families, loyalty or tradition, a world in which the very words `mother,’ `father,’ `husband,’ `wife,’ `son’ and `daughter’ will be bleached of meaning forever.”

Soros, Poe continued, “is one of the world’s leading promoters of euthanasia, or `mercy killing.’ Not only does he advocate `physician-assisted suicide’ for patients who choose death voluntarily, he also lobbies for the right of family members or court-appointed guardians to authorize the killing of patients whose wishes are not known.” Sounds a lot like the Death Panels Sarah Palin warned about, doesn’t it? Soros also founded the Project on Death in America [which] promotes suicide and euthanasia and urges doctors to warehouse terminally ill patients in hospices and give them `palliative’ care …rather than wasting time, energy and money actually trying to cure them.”

Of course, all of these beliefs are eerily echoed in Obama’s healthcare legislation, almost as if Soros had dictated the terms. Maybe he did! Maybe that was the price he exacted for financing a large part of Obama’s presidential campaign and facilitating the cover-up of Obama’s birth certificate and other documents. And maybe that’s why Obama is still paying Soros back by recently announcing that he will invest $2 billion (or more) in drilling for oil off the shores of Brazil, where none other than George Soros owns $5.8 million of the Brazilian oil company’s U.S.-traded preferred shares of stock!

THE USUAL SUSPECTS
While Soros may top the list of conspirators who have been trying to topple big bad capitalist America for decades, others figure prominently as well, including but not limited to: Noam Chomsky, Louis Farrakhan,,Jane Fonda, Tom Hayden, Jesse Jackson, Michael Moore, Cornel West, Ted Turner, former National Security Advisor to Pres. Jimmy Carter Zbigniew Brzezinski, The Rockefeller family, The Carnegie family, and, I might add, Fidel Castro and the cozy cabal of America-loathing Marxist revolutionaries he met with at the Theresa Hotel in Harlem.

Then there are: The Congressional Progressive Caucus (their members here) aka the Democratic Socialists of America, formed by partners from the Communist Party USA and Socialist Party USA (Founder: Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VA); The Congressional Black Caucus (their members here), originally established and controlled by the Communist Party USA (Founder: Cong. John Conyers (D-VT), and now controlled by ACORN and The Democratic Socialists of America; The ACLU, founded in 1917 by Communist Roger Baldwin; The Southern Poverty Law Center—a mini ACLU; The FORD Foundation; The Annenberg Foundation; The NAACP; The Council on Foreign Relations; The Trilateral Commission; numerous labor unions, and of course the mega-rich sheiks of Araby.

While all of the above and many others have worked assiduously to dismantle America, there are probably only a relative handful of aiders and abettors who ushered the modern-day Trojan Horse Barack Obama into America’s body politic and were sophisticated and connected and rich and arch enough to have facilitated his path to the U.S. Senate, sealed all of his records both home and abroad, assembled the massive¬†organization for his run for the presidency, and delivered in only seven months the most radical leftwing—actually more Communist than Socialist—agenda in the history of the United States.

WHO’S NOT CAVING ON THE BC ISSUE?
McLeod and Hagmann have come very close to explaining a major piece of the conspiracy puzzle, specifically how some in the media were either bribed or threatened into silence vis-√†-vis Obama’s birth certificate. But the American people have a peculiar resistance to and revulsion for these thuggish tactics. In fact, the birth certificate issue has gained momentum. Why is it not going away but instead gathering steam?

1. The huge amount of money Obama has spent on this cover-up is, to most Americans, fishy.

2. Obama’s serial apologies for America as he travels the world have offended Americans and convinced them that no genuine American could or would ever behave in such a way.

3. Last month, when Army Reserve Major Stefan Frederick Cook sued Obama claiming he was not legally qualified to be President and Commander-in-Chief and therefore was unqualified to give him orders to deploy to Afghanistan, the government rescinded his orders, thereby negating the “standing” Cook no doubt would have had to sue. District Judge Richard Lazzara of Tampa denied Cook’s motions as “frivolous and wholly without merit” and then—guess what?—sealed the records! This should have disqualified the judge. In fact, it raised the eyebrows of millions of Americans.

4. To the public, rescinding Cook’s orders was a de facto admission that Obama is not a natural-born American citizen, and it gives rise to the possibility that untold numbers of military enlistees, in the U.S. and around the world, will follow suit. According to one source, as many as 100 lawyers are preparing to file such litigation and even class-action suits are being considered.

As Obama’s poll numbers continue to plunge, more and more people are waking up to his unique lack of qualifications and inability to lead the greatest nation in the world. As Kyle-Ann Shiver has written, “It’s as though [in 2008] 59 million Americans joined hands and shouted at the top of their little lungs, `Yes, We Can March off This Cliff.’”

Writer James Lewis asks: “How do we fight Obama and his psychopathic lust for power?”…and answers: “You fight evil by exposing it.””

Indeed, the American electorate has never been so energized, with millions upon millions of ordinary citizens—many of them seniors with vested interests in avoiding Obama’s death panels—attending Tea Parties, Town Hall meetings, and writing and calling their representatives in massive numbers. In addition, people are now speaking openly about the man without a birth certificate. Who is this guy? What is he hiding? Why are media people studiously avoiding this issue? And why are those who “dare” raise it—like Lou Dobbs at CNN—being targeted by far-left groups, many of them funded by George Soros?

Yet in spite of their efforts to conceal the truth about Obama’s birth place and parentage, increasing numbers of articles, radio hosts and their callers and regular Americans have lost their amazingly forbearing patience and are now asking and will continue to ask until the question is answered: WHERE’S THE BIRTH CERTIFICATE?

Because Oh-bummer has drawn this whole thing out, and done nothing but fan the flames of conspiracy by his own actions (like sealing academic, birth, medical and passport records), he will have to go a long way to prove that any document he produces now is not a fake or forgery.  The burden of proof is now squarely on his shoulders because of the lack of his promised “transparency.”  I had been willing to give the benefit of the doubt, but there are just too many unanswered and unexplained questions.  Until they are definitively answered, Obama is nothing more than an illegal alien pretender, an undocumented president.

Hawaii refuses to verify president’s online COLBs

Officials mum on images released by Obama’s campaign, FactCheck.org

In response to a direct question from WND, the Hawaii Department of Health refused to authenticate either of the two versions of President Obama’s short-form Certificate of Live Birth, or COLB, posted online – neither the image produced by the Obama campaign nor the images released by FactCheck.org.

Janice Okubo, the public information officer for the Hawaii DOH, also had no explanation for why Dr. Chiyome Fukino’s initial press release last October and subsequent press release last week also avoided declaring the posted images to be of authentic documents.

In June 2008, Ben LaBolt, an Obama campaign spokesman, released the initial short-form Obama COLB to various newspapers, including the Los Angeles Times, declaring, “This is Sen. Obama’s birth certificate.”

This short-form Obama COLB was released as a .jpg Internet image, displaying no signs of having been folded or of carrying an official State of Hawaii embossed seal.

As demonstrated by a poster on Free Republic identified as “musicman,” the COLB the Obama campaign released in June 2008 apparently had a date stamped on the back that bled through to the document’s front side.

When magnified and reversed, the date “JUN 8 2007″ appears to be legible.

When this short-form COLB was released, the Obama campaign did not explain who obtained the document from the Hawaii DOH or why the document had been held for a year before being released to the public.

Anomalies in this version of the Obama COLB, however, raised several questions among skeptics:

• The printing on the document clearly appeared done by a laser printer, not by any printing device available in 1961.
• The father’s “race” was listed as “African,” not “Negro,” the more expected designation in the less politically correct environment of the early 1960s.
• As noted above, the document evidenced no embossed seal from the State of Hawaii.
• The lack of folds on the document raised questions if and how the document had been mailed by the Hawaii DOH to the requesting recipient.

Two months later, however, on Aug. 21, 2008, FactCheck.org, an organization funded by the same left-leaning Annenberg Foundation that also employed Barack Obama and former Weatherman radical bomber Bill Ayers, produced a short-form Obama COLB that was very different in appearance.

Responding to questions raised on the Internet about the authenticity of the short-form COLB released by the Obama campaign in June 2008, FactCheck.org produced photographs of a short-form COLB that clearly looked folded and displayed what appeared to be an embossed seal from the state of Hawaii.

In support of its argument that the COLB released in August was identical to the one produced by the Obama campaign in June and was an authentic State of Hawaii document, FactCheck.org offered the following image:

This FactCheck.org document was distinguished by a long blank header that did not appear on the COLB released by the Obama campaign.

This document further came with a stamp on the back, dated June 6, 2007, which suggests the FactCheck.org document could be the source of the image released earlier by the Obama campaign.

The image of the COLB released by the Obama campaign displayed no official seal, though FactCheck.org displayed the seal in a side view taken from what appears to be the document’s front. The website did not, however, present a similarly enlarged photo of the back to verify whether the pressing had left the identical image on both sides of the paper.

Moreover, FactCheck.org offered no explanation as to why various images of the COLB displayed in the Aug. 21, 2008, article varied dramatically from the originally released Obama campaign COLB.

In the above folded version, the certificate number is not redacted, and the “1961″ suggests the document was not generated by a 1961 computer, which generally did not print dates in four digit formats, as evidenced by the long-form original birth certificates WND obtained from the Nordyke twins who were born in Honolulu the day after President Obama’s reported birthdate.

In the Nordyke original long-form birth certificate, the year is listed simply as “61,” not “1961,” as is clear in the image below:

Both the Obama campaign, when releasing the short-form COLB in June 2008, and FactCheck.org, when analyzing their version of the short-form COLB in August 2008, referred to the document as a “birth certificate” without distinguishing that neither COLB resembles the type of long-form original birth certificate the Nordyke twins received.

The “Certification of Live Birth” posted online and widely touted as “Obama’s birth certificate” does not in any way prove he was born in Hawaii, since the same “short-form” document is easily obtainable for children not born in Hawaii. The true “long-form” birth certificate – which includes information such as the name of the birth hospital and attending physician – is the only document that can prove Obama was born in Hawaii, but to date he has not permitted its release for public or press scrutiny.

WND has produced hundreds of stories reporting on dozens of legal challenges to Obama’s status as a “natural born citizen” and other issues. The Constitution, Article 2, Section 1, states, “No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President.”

Some of the challenges question whether he was actually born in Hawaii, as he insists. If he was born out of the country, Obama’s American mother, the suits contend, was too young at the time of his birth to confer American citizenship to her son under the law at the time.

Other challenges have focused on Obama’s citizenship through his father, a Kenyan subject to the jurisdiction of the United Kingdom at the time of his birth, thus making him a dual citizen. The cases contend the framers of the Constitution excluded dual citizens from qualifying as natural born.

Complicating the situation is Obama’s decision to spend sums estimated in the hundreds of thousands of dollars to avoid releasing a state birth certificate and other documentation.

Obama’s birth certificate is not the only document at issue. WND has reported that among the documentation not yet available for Obama includes his kindergarten records, his Punahou school records, his Occidental College records, his Columbia University records, his Columbia thesis, his Harvard Law School records, his Harvard Law Review articles, his scholarly articles from the University of Chicago, his passport, his medical records, his files from his years as an Illinois state senator, his Illinois State Bar Association records, any baptism records and his adoption records.

Did the state of Hawaii, factcheck and the Annenberg Foundation just have a big old luau, roast a pig on birth certificate records- including President Obama’s, for the entire state and the voter wasn’t invited?

Lou Dobbs of CNN did a story (6/23/09) on a topic that some of us by now have reasonably asked ourselves- where is Obama’s Birth Certificate to prove his validity as natural born citizen? In questioning the so-called birthers, the shit hit the fan as CNN’s president as Jon Klein President of CNN allegedly said in an email-

“It seems this story is dead- because anyone who still is not convinced doesn’t really have a legitimate beef.” Klein asked CNN researchers to dig into the question of why Obama couldn’t produce the original birth certificate. The researchers contacted the Hawaii Health Dept. and confirmed that paper documents were discarded in 2001 when the department went paperless. That reportedly includes Pres. If the story were dead, why did the President of a major media outlet request the research in the first place?  Is Klein letting Dobbs be the fall guy?  Dobbs has expressed his personal belief that Obama was born in Hawaii.

I disagree with Klein in that I as an American citizen do, and am quite entitled to have a legitimate beef with a man as a sitting president who will not, or can not, and definitely has not provided proof- beyond any reasonable doubt that he is Constitutionally qualified to hold the office.

Last year Hawaii released an official statement from the director of health Dr. Chiyome Fukino that she has seen Obama’s birth certificate and it exsits- circumventing State law (Hawai‘i Revised Statutes §338-18) which prohibits the release of a certified birth certificate to persons who do not have a tangible interest in the vital record. 

As the world turn, Dobbs said on his show July 23, 2009 that the state of Hawaii discarded Obama’s paper birth certificate eight years ago. The project’s organizing committee asked Obama to serve as the board chairman in 1995.  Annenberg Project Executive Director Ken Rollings said Ayers was not a member of that ad hoc group when the decision was made.  For seven years, Ayers and Obama — among many others — worked on funding for education projects, including some projects advocated by Ayers.

This is nothing new to birthers, it just got the attention of a few more folks who just got cable TV due to the switch from analog to digital.

It seems like over the years there has consistently been the “take two steps forward, then one step backward” in regards to protecting our Second Amendment rights.  So much so that a large portion of the population has become ambivalent about what the “latest saga” in the news is on gun rights.  I was totally pumped to see and read in my email, the mass-forwarded letter from someone pleading with all who would listen…..the HR 45 Blair Holt Firearm Licensing Act.   This Bill should truly put chills down your spine. 

Now, this is where it begins to get complicated.  Has anyone else noticed a connection between some of the major players in this menagerie?

First, everyone I’m sure remembers how during election time Obama wasn’t real outspoken or forward about being anti-gun.  Which now begs the question, why did (and still does) FactCheck continue to make official statements that “”Obama is proposing no …ban” on use of firearms for self-defense in the home.  And “Obama says he does not support any … handgun ban and never has.”  Wrong! 

Isn’t FactCheck supposed to be nonobjective and skeptical of politicians claims in order to find out the facts, especially when the writing is on the wall? 

Well, get this.  FactCheck and the Brady Campaign share the same sugar-daddy. The Annenberg Foundation.  This last year, Annenberg Foundation was FactCheck’s primary funding source.  AND gave the Brady Campaign several large “grants”, most recently $50,000.  Remember who was instrumental in the development of the Annenberg Foundation?  That’s right, the self-proclaimed Marxist and convicted felon for terrorist acts in the United States years ago. 

Second, keep in mind that the Barack Obama Campaign gave ACORN about one million dollars in 2008.  Obamas’ ties to ACORN run long and deep.  The same organization that has been accused of voter fraud and scare tactics at City Hall meetings, mayors house, voter poll locations, etc.   

Meanwhile, ACORN has been the oh so fortunate beneficiary of numerous grants from the Chicago-based Woods Fund.  Which has had as members on its Fund’s board in the past, Bill Ayres and Barrack Obama-Hussein.  In fact, are still to this day listed as such.   

Is there a similarity there?  I’m pretty sure I don’t believe it’s just three degrees of separation apart.

Factcheck.org, the “unbiased” truth seeker that has published Obama’s Certification of Live Birth that they say proves Obama was born in America, in “truth” is operated by the totally biased Annenberg Foundation that gave Obama and Bill Ayres $110 million to spend on improving education. But Obama and Ayres actually spent the $110 million teaching Chicago kids to vote for his sponsor Mayor Daley. The Annenberg Foundation did a follow up study that proved Obama and Ayres did not improve educational test scores by any amount.

Want proof of Annenberg’s bias and dishonesty?  Annenberg’s factcheck.org says that Ayres and Obama did not do know each other then!! Even though the Annenberg Foundation knows that Bill Ayres founded the Chicago Annenberg Challenge (or “CAC”) and hired Obama to be its President for five years, all documented by the Corporate Minutes of the CAC that U. of Illinios Prof. William Ayres  donated to the archives section of the University of Illinois Library at its Chicago campus.   Ie., this is not web chatter, it is documented in the University of Illinois Library Archives!!  Commenters are calling me a liar. Go to Chicago and read it yourself!  Annenberg certainly knows the name of the President of a group to which it gave $110 million, and that name is Barack Obama! So Annenberg has proved, with its own contradictory published statements, that Annenberg and its website factcheck.org tell lies to benefit Obama, and that its own website factcheck.org publishes lies.

Back to the Obama/Factcheck.org “Certificate of Live Birth.”

Hawaii’s official birth certificate is the “Certificate of Live Birth” which is different from the “Certification of Live Birth”. Changing the “e” to “ion” is all the difference in the world. Obama and factcheck.org only publish the “ion” version, which is merely a computer printout, and not a birth certificate. How else are they different? Read and weep.

Annenberg’s factcheck.org continues to publish, even today,  Obama “Certification of Live Birth,” and Annenberg claims falsely that this proves Obama was born in the USA.

Annenberg’s corrupt factcheck,org published thousands of words about this but never once says that their document id the “ion” version, not the genuine “e” version. The most tragically comic statements on the corrupt factcheck.org is they quote people who “have seen” the “e” version.

Golly, Molly, if people “have seen” it,  why won’t Obama produce it?

Only one answer: it doesn’t exist. You would think by now, after he has been President so long, the FBI could have cooked up a good forgery for him? Don’t worry, eventually some liberal progressive totalitarian creep will forge one, but the fact that they went so long without producing it proves that no valid birth certificatE ever existed or they would have produced it.

Here is what the State of Hawaii’s official government websites publish about the matter:

QUOTE: “The Certification of Live Birth is a legal document, but it is TOTALLY INADEQUATE when it comes to proving an individual was born in Hawaii.

     The State of Hawaii DOES NOT EVEN ACCEPT the Certification of Live Birth as valid proof that an individual was born in Hawaii.

     The Hawaii Department of Homelands, which administers programs to encourage property ownership for native Hawaiians states the following on its website.

“In order to process your application, DHHL utilizes information that is found ONLY on the original Certificate of Live Birth, which is either black or green. This is a more complete record of your birth than the Certification of Live Birth(a computer-generated printout). Submitting the original Certificate of Live Birth will save you time and money since the computer-generated Certification requires additional verification by DHHL.“ [Emphasis Mine].

     The bottom line is that the Certification of Live Birth can be erroneous. It has been reported that it was not uncommon for foreigners residing in Hawaii to bring their infant children to the Clerk of the Court, swear they were born in Hawaii and have actual Certificates of Live Birth issued to their children.

    It has even been reported that foreigners residing in Hawaii, in some cases, produced birth certificates from foreign countries and the State of Hawaii still issued Hawaiian Certificates of Live Birth to the infants in question.

Oh. My. God. I don’t want her life, per se. But I enjoyed reading this way too much. My hat goes off  to Robert D. McFadden and whoever came up with the title  that includes “doyenne of protocol.”

A private investigator has released to WND an affidavit that casts doubt on whether Barack Obama’s family lived at the address listed in the published notice of his birth in 1961.

Jorge Baro was hired by WND to investigate issues related to Obama’s birth amid allegations the Democrat does not meet the Constitution’s requirement that a president be a “natural born citizen.”

Baro’s affidavit documents an interview his staff conducted with Beatrice Arakaki, who has lived at 6075 Kalanianaole Highway in Honolulu since before Obama was born.

The affadivit is at the center of a federal lawsuit filed prior to the November election in Hattiesburg, Miss., before U.S. District Judge Keith Starrett. The suit is one of several yet to be adjudicated that calls for proof of Obama being a “natural born citizen” as required by the Constitution.

Baro is the in-house senior investigator for Elite Legal Services, LLC, in Royal Palm Beach, Fla.

“I am left with the conclusion that a simple request from Senator Barack Obama to produce the ‘long form’ (redacted if necessary) would end any speculation or question as to his birthplace,” Baro’s affidavit continued. “His continued denial to do so is suspect, in my professional opinion.”

Baro also pointed out that factcheck.org is funded by the Annenberg Foundation, which “is at the center of the ongoing Obama-Bill Ayers controversy – hardly an unbiased source for information in my view.” Read More

This week, I am cultivating gratitude for tomorrow’s Thanksgiving holiday.  I am thankful for many things this year namely, the spectrum of colorful people in my life, all whom contribute to my personal development.  I am especially thankful for my family, whom I will share my gravy with during our Thanksgiving festivities.  But as I write this article of gratitude, I am reminded of a New Hampshire-based eco-artist, Tim Gaudreau, whose work is exhibited in my 2008 Environmental Art calendar for the month of November.  Gaudreau’s work, entitled Self Portrait as Revealed by Trash, is a collage of photos collected over the course of a 365-day period.  The photos represent everything the artist threw away during the year.  A melancholic documentation at best, Gaudreau’s work forced me to think about the consequences of my own lifestyle, especially as we approach the holiday season.  If my self portrait were revealed by my own waste, I’d be horridly grotesque.

So as we prepare a feast of gigantic turkeys, fresh vegetables, pumpkin pies and all that is nostalgic about Thanksgiving, I ask you to be cognizant of what is thrown away throughout the day.  Make a list, take photographs or just keep a tally in your head.  The average American generates 4.6 pounds of solid trash per day for a total of 230 million tons per year, according to the Annenberg Foundation.   I will leave you with this eco-exercise and thank you for visiting my first blog.  As we embark on humanity’s greatest challenge, I hope to share many more thoughts on how to live a more sustainable life.  Together we can save our beloved planet.  Welcome to my blog and Happy Thanksgiving!

This is how Obama came into contact with Bill Ayers: The Chicago Annenberg Challenge

• On December 17, 1993, the Annenberg Foundation launched the Annenberg Challenge for School Reform with a five-year $500 million grant to revive and inspire school reform efforts in this nation. The Challenge brought together civic, business and university leaders, as well as foundations and other groups, in support of 18 school improvement projects, and it built broad public-private coalitions consisting of mayors, superintendents, principals, union leaders, civic leaders and community groups. The CAC was supported with a $49.2 million grant.

They served on the board together, with a lot of other respected members of the chicago political hierarchy. So all the outrage is over nothing. The right can’t handle that their reign is over and that they’re going to get their shit pushed in on Nov. 4th so they’ve brainwashed themselves into believing Obama is basically a sponsor of terror. It exposes the right for the lunatic realm of reality in which their feeble, ignorant minds exist.

As for McCain, his hands aren’t completely clean. Not like you’d expect considering how bat-shit crazy his campaign has gone over Ayers. He’s come into contact with scum as well

• As Media Matters for America has noted, Liddy served four and a half years in prison in connection with his conviction for his role in the Watergate break-in and the break-in at the office of the psychiatrist of Daniel Ellsberg, the military analyst who leaked the Pentagon Papers. Liddy has acknowledged preparing to kill someone during the Ellsberg break-in “if necessary”; plotting to murder journalist Jack Anderson; plotting with a “gangland figure” to murder Howard Hunt to stop him from cooperating with investigators; plotting to firebomb the Brookings Institution; and plotting to kidnap “leftist guerillas” at the 1972 Republican National Convention — a plan he outlined to the Nixon administration using terminology borrowed from the Nazis. (The murder, firebombing, and kidnapping plots were never carried out; the break-ins were.) During the 1990s, Liddy reportedly instructed his radio audience on multiple occasions on how to shoot Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms agents and also reportedly said he had named his shooting targets after Bill and Hillary Clinton.
• Liddy has donated $5,000 to McCain’s campaigns since 1998, including $1,000 in February 2008. In addition, McCain has appeared on Liddy’s radio show during the presidential campaign, including as recently as May. An online video labeled “John McCain On The G. Gordon Liddy Show 11/8/07″ includes a discussion between Liddy and McCain, whom Liddy described as an “old friend.” During the segment, McCain praised Liddy’s “adherence to the principles and philosophies that keep our nation great,” said he was “proud” of Liddy, and said that “it’s always a pleasure for me to come on your program.”
• Additionally, in 1998, Liddy reportedly held a fundraiser at his home for McCain. Liddy was reportedly scheduled to speak at another fundraiser for McCain in 2000. The Charlotte Observer reported on January 23, 2000, that McCain’s campaign vouched for Liddy’s “character”: His [McCain's] campaign officials said Liddy’s character will appeal to many voters because he was following orders from President Nixon and kept silent afterward. “His (Liddy’s) judgment might be in question, but I don’t think his character is,” said Ed Walker, the York County chairman of McCain’s campaign. “He was following orders just like any good soldier, and he didn’t tell on anybody. He felt like he was on a mission and kept his silence.”

All  right, this “Obama lied about his association with Bill Ayres” thing has gone on ad nauseum. First, it’s a lie. Second, why can’t McCain just talk about social, economic, and foreign policy issues? He seems to not have any faith in his own political agenda.

Let’s take the Bill Ayres thing—–again. Senator Obama NEVER lied about having known Bill Ayres. He never gave an item by item list of every encounter, either happenstance or planned, that they’d had, but he never denied knowing him. So why do the conservatives keep saying that Obama lied about knowing him? And why does Sarah Palin keep saying that Obama “pals around” with terrorists? Ayres isn’t a terrorist. And Obama didn’t seek him out because he at one time was a radical. Get over it. And stop lying.

If you want to talk about Obama sitting on the same board as Ayres, you’re going to have to categorize McCain and his supporters as terrorists, too. The board was for the Annenberg Foundation, which was established by Walter Annenberg, who was a Republican and whose widow is a contributor to the McCain campaign. Oh no! Annenberg associated with terrorists, and his wife must also, and that means that McCain is a terrorist! Ridiculous.

I like the way McCain and his little helpers use the words “poor judgment” when describing Obama. It’s ironic, really, since that’s what the report on the Keating 5 said about John McCain and his involvement. Imagine that.

And if you want to continue to play the “guilt by association game” AND the “he’s been lying about it” game, check out McCain’s ties to a radical terrorist hate group, which called itself the U.S. Council for World Freedom. I haven’t heard McCain offer any detailed listing of gatherings that he had with this group; in fact, he’s been rather quiet about it. Here’s another version of the story. Stunning.

It also looks as if, as is so very often the case with conservatives who tout “marriage and family values,” McCain was unfaithful to his first wife, Carol. This story quotes the first Mrs. McCain, as well as the L.A. Times and McCain, himself. As we all know, being unfaithful to one’s wife makes one an unfit choice for President. Fascinating.

My point is that we all have skeletons, and John McCain has his share of guilt by association and personal poor judgment. I don’t necessarily think that those associations make him either a liar or the wrong choice for President. We need to stick to the issues that matter, and some past association that John McCain doesn’t want anyone to know about because it wasn’t his finest moment is not an issue that matters——at least not to me. But if the hate-mongers of the Republican Party want to dredge it all up, then I say, yes, by all means let’s get it ALL out in the open.

FactCheck.org goes out of its way to whitewash Ayers’ crimes. In this article you can find the only mention of Annenberg Chicago Challenge on FactCheck.org. “Contrary to suggestions we’ve seen in some conservative blogs, there is no connection between the Chicago Annenberg Challenge and FactCheck.org, save for the fact that both received funding from the Annenberg Foundation.” Nope. No connection at all. They just have the same paymasters. That’s all…. Yes, that how dumb they think you are!

They go on about how conservative Walter Annenberg himself was, suggesting that it’s absurd to think he’d support left-wing causes, and then point out that, “nobody at the Annenberg Foundation has ever tried to influence anything we’ve written.” Exactly. Annenberg is dead, his foundation lives on, in the hands of assorted lefties; and anyway, the people at FactCheck are free to write whatever they like, so it makes no difference what Mr. Annenberg’s politics were!

FactCheck is a university controlled Internet site. It falls under the educational criteria that had to be met in order to receive funding from the Annenberg Foundation. It is a separate entity from Walter Annenberg’s widow Leonore’s foundation — as is the Chicago Annenberg Challenge.

In the midst of parroting every Obama campaign talking point, FactCheck argues that Ayers is not a terrorist. No, he’s just a guy who boasted about bombing the Pentagon and police stations and minor stuff like that. According to them he’s a respectable academic. A respectable academic who just happens to have said on September 11, 2001, that he regrets not having killed more people, and laughs at the dumb-ass US justice system for having let him off on a technicality. But that’s all “ancient history” now, right?, as Dunham-Soetero-Obama likes to say. And a leftist reporter at the Chicago Sun-Times says he’s just a respectable educator, and Chicago’s Citizen of the Year in 1997. They don’t seem to understand that that’s exactly what bothers people about Ayers, and about Chicago: the fact that this unrepentant terrorist scumbag is honored and respected in Chicago, when he should be rotting in jail.

And Democrat Mayor Daley just loves the guy to death, so there you go … no big deal.

If you can’t see that FactCheck.org is a tool of the Democratic Party and the Obama campaign, then you are, unfortunately, a moron.

Besides the fact that the “experts” at FactCheck try their best to negate Obama birth certificate forgery stories, and try to whitewash Ayers, it should be quite clear that they consistently critique Republicans much more than Dems, and in harsher language. E.g.: Summary of the Palin-Biden debate. Note that in their catalogue of errors and spin, FactCheck completely ignored Biden’s offensively idiotic assertion that The U.S., “along with France . . . kicked Hezbollah out of Lebanon.”

Joe Biden’s Alternate Universe

In Thursday night’s vice presidential debate between Senator Joe Biden and Governor Sarah Palin, Biden said the strangest and most ill-informed thing I have ever heard about Lebanon in my life. “When we kicked — along with France, we kicked Hezbollah out of Lebanon, I said and Barack said, “Move NATO forces in there. Fill the vacuum, because if you don’t know — if you don’t, Hezbollah will control it.” Now what’s happened? Hezbollah is a legitimate part of the government in the country immediately to the north of Israel.”

What on Earth is he talking about? The United States and France may have kicked Hezbollah out of Lebanon in an alternate universe, but nothing even remotely like that ever happened in this one.

Nobody – nobody – has ever kicked Hezbollah out of Lebanon. Not the United States. Not France. Not Israel. And not the Lebanese. Nobody.

Joe Biden has literally no idea what he’s talking about.

It’s too bad debate moderator Gwen Ifill didn’t catch him and ask a follow up question: When did the United States and France kick Hezbollah out of Lebanon?

The answer? Never. And did Biden and Senator Barack Obama really say NATO troops should be sent into Lebanon? When did they say that? Why would they say that? They certainly didn’t say it because NATO needed to prevent Hezbollah from returning–since Hezbollah never went anywhere.

I tried to chalk this one up as just the latest of Biden’s colorful gaffes. Did he mean to say “we kicked Syria out of Lebanon?” But that wouldn’t make any more sense. First of all, the Lebanese kicked Syria out of Lebanon. Not the United States, and not France. But he clearly meant to say Hezbollah, not Syria, because he correctly notes just a few sentences later that Hezbollah is part of Lebanon’s government. He wasn’t talking about Syria. He was talking about Hezbollah all the way through, at the beginning, in the middle, and at the end of his outlandish assertion.

Like many who watched the debate, I was bracing myself for Palin to say something off-putting about foreign policy. She’s the one who needed the crash course, allegedly; Biden is supposedly Mr. Foreign Policy. He’s supposed to be the experienced elder statesman Senator Barack Obama chose to help him govern and fill in some of his knowledge and experience gaps. He’s supposed to know far more about foreign policy than she does.

I wasn’t exactly encouraged by Palin’s answer to one of Katie Couric’s foreign policy questions: “What happens if the goal of democracy doesn’t produce the desired outcome?” Couric used Hamas’ victory in the West Bank and Gaza as an example. Palin either dodged the question or did not understand it.

Biden, though, against all expectations and odds, managed to say something far more bizarre and off-planet than anything Palin has said on the topic to date.

We’ve resisted discussing Bill Ayers at Rebel for awhile, but now seems to be the time when everyone is required to turn their attention to this “unrepentant terrorist.” The McCain-Palin campaign has been bringing up the specter of Bill Ayers and the Weather Underground at every campaign stop and nearly every chance they are allowed to mention this man Barack Obama “palled around with.”

Why? Bill Ayers is ridiculously unimportant. Bill Ayers is a sell out, a yuppie college professor who served on the board of a charity dedicated to ending poverty along with Sen. Obama. Bill Ayers held a fundraiser for Obama at his house more than a decade ago, 1995 to be exact. And Bill Ayers contributed money to Obama’s reelection campaign in 2001 (how suspicious that a democrat would contribute to the campaign of a local democratic representative).

When Bill Ayers was a radical, he helped plant bombs in protest of the Vietnam War, most notably at the Pentagon and in Times Square. Most of the bombs planted were accompanied by announcements to assure that only property was destroyed rather than lives. That didn’t always work. Some people were injured by the Weathermen, some killed. This group also broke LSD afficionado Tim Leary out of prison. Bill Ayers is an asshole, that’s for damn sure, but he is an irrelevant asshole, and he is a sell out.

If Bill Ayers were anything other than an aging yuppie, he would still be planting bombs, this time in protest of the War in Iraq. But he’s not. He’s no longer a radical, by all accounts he became a rather upstanding citizen in the 80’s. He sold out. He works with conservatives on the very same board that McCain and Palin mention to link him with Obama. It’s called the Woods Fund Board and it’s part of the Annenberg Foundation.

Maybe he figured out after he was forced to turn himself in in 1980 that he could work from the inside, infiltrate the system and “bring it down.” Or maybe he’s just like all the other activists from the 60’s and 70’s who woke up one morning, shaved the beard, took a shower, put on a suit, and became a yuppie.

Either way the link between Obama and Ayers is tangential at best, that’s why the announcers in McCain’s commercials put so much emphasis on “he held a fundraiser at this domestic terrorist’s house,” “he launched his political career at the house of Bill Ayers.” That’s all there is to go on.

The bottom line is that Obama is a liberal democrat. And Ayers is a yuppie liberal. They run in the same circles. That’s all.

So why are we discussing Bill Ayers and not Rev. Wright? The connection between Obama and Rev. Wright is far stronger than his connection with Bill Ayers, and the rhetoric from Wright is more inflammatory than anything Ayers has said in the last five years (go back to 2001 for Ayers’ quote about not regretting setting bombs and wishing he’d done more).

Well, lots of people are asking that question, and our old buddy Charles Krauthammer has the answer.

“McCain had his chance back in April when the North Carolina Republican Party ran a gubernatorial campaign ad that included the linking of Obama with Jeremiah Wright. John McCain in his infinite wisdom, and with his overflowing sense of personal rectitude, joined the braying mob in denouncing that perfectly legitimate ad, saying it had no place in any campaign. In doing so, McCain unilaterally disarmed himself, rendering off-limits Obama’s associations, an issue that even Hillary Clinton addressed more than once.”
