Os sumérios descreviam nosso sistema solar como um conjunto de 12 corpos celestes significativos. Na linguagem zodiacal, estes astros são todos chamados”planetas”, embora, entre eles, os antigos incluíssem a Lua e o Sol. Isso significa que os mesopotâmicos, não somente possuíam um inexplicável conhecimento astronômico; eles também afirmavam a existência de planetas que somente a ciência contemporânea pôde reconhecer, como o longínquo Plutão, hoje destituído de seu status planetário; os miteriosos Urano e Saturno e o até hoje desconhecido porém procurado 12º planeta, este que os sumérios denominavam Nibiru. Ora, se os sumérios, há 6 mil anos, estavam corretos em relação aos nove planetas reconhecidos hoje porque não poderiam estar, igualmente corretos, em relação a Nibiru? Meditemos…

Há seis mil anos atrás, os Sumérios conheceram um planeta chamado Nibiru. Era o planeta de origem de um povo descrito pelos antigos como “raça de deuses”. Os nativos de Nibiru visitaram a Terra no passado influenciando decisivamente a cultura humana. Artefatos e tabuletas cuneiformes de argila e pedra encontradas no Iraque referem-se claramente a um planeta de onde vieram viajantes cósmicos.

A herança deste remotos alienígenas aparece na avançada tecnologia dos sumérios e de outros povos ao redor do mundo. Muitas relíquias não são acessíveis ao público que, assim, desconhece essa face da mitologia mesopotâmica. No caso dos sumérios, sua cultura é a mais antiga do Ocidente. Entretanto, seu sistema matemático e o calendário permanecem atuais.

Aos poucos, a pesquisa sobre Nibiru começa a aparecer, ainda que o planeta seja chamado por outros nomes, como , 12º planeta ou “planeta da cruz” (Planet of the crossing). Os sumérios tinham doze corpos celestes em seu zodíaco, contando o sol e a lua e mais DEZ Planetas que, afirmavam, pertencem ao nosso sistema solar.

Hoje os cientistas estão procurando este planeta misterioso nos confins do espaço; a NASA se empenha nessa pesquisa e os especialistas investigam porque já têm certeza de que o “Planeta X” existe. Observado há milhares de anos passados, Nibiru não é visto nos céus contemporâneos. Isso acontece porque a órbita do 10º planeta (12º astro dos sumérios) é uma elíptica extremamente alongada. Durante milênios, o globo se mantém longe do sol e da vista dos terráqueos, muito além da órbita de Plutão.

Os Sumérios descrevem o Planeta X ou Nibiru, no ponto mais extremo de suatrajetória, distante da Terra aproximadamente 30 milhões de anos-luz. Os viajantes de Nibiru que chegaram à Terra são chamados Anunnaki e foram considerados deuses. A tradição conta que os Anunnaki possuíam “servos” que eram “seres andróides”. Não eram seres vivos mas agiam como se fossem.

Zecharia Sitchin

Zecharia Sitchin é lingüista, perito em escrita cuneiforme (suméria) e em muitas outras linguagens antigas. Em 1976, publicou The Tewlfht Planet e assim começou sua trajetória transformadora da pesquisa da história antiga. Em 1993, lançou seu sexto livro, parte da série de Earth Chronicles (Crônicas da Terra) – When Time Began. Este último livro fala das relações entre o complexo calendário de Stonehenge, as ruínas de Tiahuanacu, no Peru, a antiga cultura suméria e, por extensão, a conexão desses monumentos antigos com os Anunnaki. Sitchin defende que os Anunnaki não são uma alegoria ou criação fabulosa dos sumérios; antes, são seres humanóides que habitam o misterioso planeta Nibiru.A órbita excêntrica, extensa de Nibiru, faz com que o planeta passe milênios totalmente invisível à observação no centro do sistema solar. Zecharia Sitchin acredita que quando a posição de Nibiru é favorável, ciclicamente, os Anunnaki – habitantes de Nibiru – visitam a Terra e interferem no curso da história humana. O ano de Nibiru corresponde a 3 mil e 600 anos terrenos, período regular de intervalo entre as visitas dos Anunnaki.

Sitchin já decifrou mais de dois mil cilindros e fragmentos de cerâmica com inscrições da Mesopotâmia, alguns de 4.000 a.C., que fazem parte do acervo de museus de todo o mundo. Um desses fragmentos, que se encontra na Alemanha, indica que a Terra é o “sétimo planeta”, contando a partir de Plutão. Ocorre que Plutão somente foi descoberto pela astronomia moderna no início do século XX. Como os sumérios poderiam saber de tal coisa?

O lingüísta acredita que, na antiguidade, seres extraterrenos conviveram com antigos mesopotâmicos e foram os “instrutores”, os deuses da humanidade dos primeiros tempos históricos (pós-advento da escrita). Comparando as mitologias da Criação de diferentes culturas, verifica-se a coincidência dos mitos, que são recorrentes nas referências a uma “colonização” ou instrução das primeiras nações humanas por seres superiores, que vieram do espaço e se encarregam de ensinar aos homens primitivos as “artes” que caracterizam as civilizações.

Sempre buscando a identidade desses “instrutores celestes”, Sitchin começou sua jornada pelo mundo das cidades antigas e dos grandes impérios do passado. Uma de suas conclusões mais significativas afirma a existência, em Marte, de uma estrutura alienígena, artificial, de forma piramidal, situada na região denominada Cydonia. Essa pirâmide não é a única; sua distância em relação a outra estrutura semelhante é proporcionalmente idêntica à distância que existe entre a Esfinge e as pirâmides do Egito.

Essas relações entre pirâmides podem significar que elas servem como marcos topográficos para viajantes celestes, como os Annunaki, tanto na Terra quanto em Marte. Sitchin acredita que as pirâmides de Gizé não foram um realização dos egípicios. Em 1993 foi divulgada a descoberta de que a Esfinge é dois mil anos anos antiga do que se pensava, o que reforça a teoria de Sitchin.

O Buraco de Saddam

Polêmico, Sitchin fundamenta suas teorias em rigorosas traduções dos textos sumérios, escrituras Védicas (indianas) e textos originais da Bíblia escritos em hebraico e grego. O local, na Terra, de chegada ou aterrisagem dos Annunaki é uma região chamada Eridu, sul do Iraque. A dificuldade de captura de Saddam Hussein decorreu do fato de que seu esconderijo, o “buraco” onde foi encontrado o ditador, é parte de uma pirâmide construída na antigüidade e desconhecida dos arqueólogos que trabalham naquele país.

O Céu do Hemisfério Sul

A NASA localizou uma maciço e negro objeto cósmico nos céus do hemisfério sul, fato que pode justificar a recente reativação de telescópios na Argentina e no Chile. Sitchin, que visitou vários observatórios astronômicos da antigüidade, constatou que todos privilegiam a visão do quadrante sul e também estão localizados na mesma latitude da Terra.

Muitos desses observatórios permitem medir com exatidão o nascer do sol e da lua. É possível que esse notável interesse pelo céu tenha sido motivado pela expectativa de um retorno desses alenígenas que foram, no passado, considerados criadores e instrutores da raça humana.
Anunnaki: na língua suméria significa “Aqueles que desceram dos céus”; para os hebreus eram Nefilim, Elohim; em egípcio, Neter. Descobertas arqueológicas e artefatos recolhidos nos últimos duzentos anos são o fundamento da teoria de que uma avançada civilização proveniente de um planeta distante, porém pertencente ao sistema solar do qual a Terra faz parte, chegou ao golfo Pérsico a cerca de 432 mil anos atrás; eram os Anunnaki. Os visitantes estelares colonizaram a Terra com o propósito de obter grandes quantidades de ouro. Sua mão-de-obra foi arrebanhada entre os humanos primitivos, que foram manipulados geneticamente.

Há 250 mil anos, o sistema de colonização alienígena começou a decair; os operários das minas (terráqueos) começaram a se rebelar contra as condições de trabalho e os Anunnaki, então, decidiram criar um ser que pudesse substituir os humanos primitivos. O experimento de engenharia genética teve de ser refeito. Enki, cientista genético e Ninhursag, chefe de medicina, criaram híbridos usando material do homo erectus, de animais e dos próprios Anunnaki. O resultado foi o homo sapiens, que veio ao mundo para ser escravo! Os primeiros homens, sendo híbridos, não se reproduziam. Novos ajustes foram feitos e, assim, a espécie pôde procriar.

Quando os sapiens tornaram-se muito numerosos, parte deles era expulsa das cidades Anunnaki e, assim, gradualmente espalharam-se no planeta. Mas as criaturas surpreenderam os criadores: eram belos e se desenvolviam muito bem. Algumas fêmeas começaram a servir de parceiras sexuais para os colonizadores. Essas uniões eram férteis, produziam prole. Era uma situação inaceitável para a maioria dos Anunnaki que decidiram exterminar a população colonizada – a humanidade – provocando uma colossal inundação em época próxima à reentrada de Nibiru nas proximidades da órbita da terra. Esse dilúvio aconteceu há cerca de 12 mil anos atrás.

Muitos humanos foram salvos por Enki, que simpatizava com aqueles que ele mesmo havia criado. Por milhares de anos, homens e mulheres foram escravos e soldados. At time of press, the ABC News story is the second top story on the ABCNews.com website under the headline, America’s Richest Givers’ Secret Meeting.

“Under a cloak of secrecy, some of the world’s wealthiest people gathered in an unprecedented meeting early this month in New York City possibly to coördinate strategies for giving their vast fortunes to charity in the midst of the financial crisis,” begins the report, before descending into a deluge of fawning idolatry about how people like David Rockefeller, Bill Gates and Ted Turner, who has repeatedly called for world population to be reduced by a shocking 95% as well as a one child policy instituted in the west, are committed to saving the poor from the ravages of the economic crisis with their benign acts of philanthropy.

The report states that the meeting is “enough to spark the imaginations of conspiracy theorists everywhere,” linking to a previous ABC News report that implies people who believe that powerful people conspire to rule the world in secret are probably mentally ill. The most vomit inducing paragraph of the article arrives when ABC asks, “There remain as many questions about the meeting’s details as there are about the logistics behind its organization. Some of the richest people in the world meet to discuss philanthropy. Invited by the world’s two richest men Bill Gates and Warren Buffett, along with David Rockefeller, a Who’s Who of American wealth and influence gathered around a long table in a window-lined private room overlooking the East River on May 5. “The overwhelming reason for the meeting was need — that was the issue that galvanized everyone to take part,” Patricia Stonesifer, senior advisor to the Gates foundation’s trustees, Bill and Melinda Gates and Warren Buffett, told ABCNews.com. “This was a group very committed to philanthropy coming together to see how they can join together to do more.”

Gates and Buffett were joined by billionaire moguls Oprah Winfrey, Ted Turner and New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg along with heavyweight philanthropists George Soros and others.

Together the attendees have donated more than $70 billion to charity since 1996, according to the Chronicle of Philanthropy. A clandestine meeting of the country’s rich and powerful, left off their public calendars and hidden from the press, is enough to spark the imaginations of conspiracy theorists everywhere, but attendees told ABC News.com the meeting was “100 percent about philanthropy” and it was not meant to be a secret. “It was meant to be a private exchange but it wasn’t a secret really, just a private meeting,” Stonesifer said.

First reported by IrishCentral.com, ABCNews.com confirmed each of the attendees’ presence at the meeting held at the residence of the Rockefeller University president on the campus of the Manhattan medical school. It lasted about five hours, beginning in mid-afternoon and continuing through dinner, Stonesifer said. “This particular group had never come together as a group before but many of the attendees had met in the past either individually or in smaller groups — but never all at once,” she said. “This was a great discussion and they agreed to continue the dialogue and meet again in the future. There were a lot of good ideas.” She said that the discussion “ranged from emergency relief efforts to scholarship efforts, to U.S. education efforts to global health.” Another attendee who asked to remain anonymous described the meeting as “a private gathering of friends and colleagues to share their history and excitement about their philanthropy. [It was] a group together discussing a range of things they are working on.”

Charities Suffer in Recession The meeting was reminiscent of the 1907 salons of America’s foremost financiers held in the study of J.P. Morgan to discuss how private citizens could stop the economic panic. IrishCentral reported that each of the participants was given 15 minutes to propose how to best direct their charity given the global economic climate.

Charities are suffering during the crisis, and America’s top philanthropists likely met to chart a new course for global charity, said Stacy Palmer, editor-in-chief of the Chronicle of Philanthropy. A meeting of the country’s top philanthropists is “extraordinary” and “really unusual,” Palmer said.

“I can’t think of another time they’ve all been in the same room to talk about philanthropy,” she said. “It’s unprecedented.” Gates and Buffet have publicly committed their vast fortunes to the same philanthropic efforts, and Rockefeller, the chairman of Rockefeller Financial Services, comes from a long line of philanthropists.

Gates, the founder and former CEO of Microsoft, who topped the Forbes’ Richest People list this year, has dedicated his foundation to eradicating infectious disease worldwide.

According to Portfolio magazine, Gates, who is worth about $59 billion, donated $3.7 billion from 2002 to 2006 and $10 billion from 2007 to 2008. Warren Buffett, CEO of conglomerate Berkshire Hathaway, was ranked the second-richest man by Forbes this year with a net worth is estimated at $52 billion. Though his giving in the past year is not disclosed, he donated some $46.1 billion between 2002 and 2006, according to Portfolio. In 2006, Buffet pledged $31 billion, the bulk of his fortune, to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, doubling the organization’s endowment virtually overnight.

Though the charitable interests of the participants differ, they have some things in common, said Bob Ottenhoff, CEO of Guidestar, a service that tracks nonprofit organizations. For the most part, the attendees are all self-made. Their donations come from money they made in their own lifetimes, rather than old family fortunes, and they have committed to giving away their fortunes while still alive rather than through bequests after their deaths.

One exception is Rockefeller, scion of the Rockefeller fortune. In 2008, Rockefeller gave $137 million to charity.

Philanthropic Groups Have Global Reach Though the philanthropic focus of each of the participants differs, many of their foundations have a global dimension.

“Each has their specialty. Gates focuses on world health, [CNN founder Ted] Turner on the environment and the UN, Soros is involved in civic engagement,” Ottenhoff said.

Between 1997 and 2006 Turner has donated $1.6 billion, the bulk of which, $1 billion, went to the UN Foundation in 1997.

Soros, a fund manager worth $9 billion, gave $1.1 billion from 2002 to 2006 and $475 million from 2007 to 2008. Much of Soros giving goes to his family’s Open Society Institute. “These sorts of meetings don’t happen very often. It is difficult for large philanthropic organizations to work together. The fact that these are all very engaged living donors means very interesting things can happen,” Ottenhoff said. Both Ottenhoff and Palmer agreed that it was likely the financial crisis that brought everyone together.

Charitable giving has taken a serious hit in recent months, and the power players likely discussed how to keep some nonprofits afloat. “Nonprofits are going through a difficult time. The endowments of many foundations have dropped significantly,” Palmer said. “Many people are not as able to give as much money as the used to. “They are making a statement that donors should continue to give. They are likely planning on a sending a message that philanthropy needs to continue worldwide,” she said. Few of the participants, Palmer said, gave money quietly and she anticipated that the secret meeting was the first step in a plan that would eventually be made public. A number of other people attended the meeting including: Winfrey, worth $2.7 billion, who donated some $50 million in 2007; Bloomberg, founder of Bloomberg LP and Mayor of New York City, who is worth $11.5 billion and donated $205 million from 2007 to 2008; financier Eli Broad who donated $100 million in 2008; and financier Peter Peterson, who committed $1 billion in 2008.

A more radical, and less politically palatable, option would be for companies to charge motorists directly through toll booths or electronic card readers. Sebagian orang akan mudah untuk menjawabnya, sudah tertulis di kitab suci bahwa kita ada dibumi ini karena “jatuh dalam dosa”, atau kita disini sebagai “wakil Tuhan ” untuk menjaga dan memelihara bumi, mengapa harus dipertanyakan kembali ? Apakah kamu tidak percaya ?

Untuk mendapatkan jawaban atas pertanyaan tsb bukanlah hal yang mudah karena menyangkut banyak kepentingan dan banyak golongan, dengan menggunakan referensi sejarah sebagai titik tolak nya dan dari informasi-informasi lain untuk dijadikan sebagai pembanding, yang diharapkan dapat memberikan masukan masukan untuk mendapatkan pengetahuan lebih jauh mengenai mengapa kita ada di bumi ini ?,

At time of press, the ABC News story is the second top story on the ABCNews.com website under the headline, America’s Richest Givers’ Secret Meeting.

“Under a cloak of secrecy, some of the world’s wealthiest people gathered in an unprecedented meeting early this month in New York City possibly to coordinate strategies for giving their vast fortunes to charity in the midst of the financial crisis,” begins the report, before descending into a deluge of fawning idolatry about how people like David Rockefeller, Bill Gates and Ted Turner, who has repeatedly called for world population to be reduced by a shocking 95% as well as a one child policy instituted in the west, are committed to saving the poor from the ravages of the economic crisis with their benign acts of philanthropy.

The report states that the meeting is “enough to spark the imaginations of conspiracy theorists everywhere,” linking to a previous ABC News report that implies people who believe that powerful individuals conspire to rule the world in secret are probably mentally ill. The most vomit inducing paragraph of the whole article arrives when ABC asks, “There remain as many questions about the meeting’s details as there are about the logistics behind its organization. How did some of the world’s most public figures coordinate their schedules, travel, and security with no one in media knowing about it?” Well how indeed did they manage to do that I wonder? 150+ of the global elite manage to do it on a routine basis every single year without barely a whimper from the corporate media, despite the location of the Bilderberg meeting leaking in advance every time. They manage to do it because the corporate media was castrated decades ago and is merely a PR machine for the establishment, which is why they dutifully follow orders not to report on what would otherwise be a gargantuan story of worldwide interest in the form of the secret Bilderberg Group meetings. Some of the richest people in the world meet to discuss philanthropy. Invited by the world’s two richest men Bill Gates and Warren Buffett, along with David Rockefeller, a Who’s Who of American wealth and influence gathered around a long table in a window-lined private room overlooking the East River on May 5. “The overwhelming reason for the meeting was need — that was the issue that galvanized everyone to participate,” Patricia Stonesifer, senior advisor to the Gates foundation’s trustees, Bill and Melinda Gates and Warren Buffett, told ABCNews.com. “This was a group very committed to philanthropy coming together to see how they can join together to do more.”

Gates and Buffett were joined by billionaire moguls Oprah Winfrey, Ted Turner and New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg along with heavyweight philanthropists George Soros and others.

Together the attendees have donated more than $70 billion to charity since 1996, according to the Chronicle of Philanthropy. A clandestine meeting of the country’s rich and powerful, left off their public calendars and hidden from the press, is enough to spark the imaginations of conspiracy theorists everywhere, but attendees told ABC News.com the meeting was “100 percent about philanthropy” and it was not meant to be a secret. “It was meant to be a private exchange but it wasn’t a secret really, just a private meeting,” Stonesifer said.

First reported by IrishCentral.com, ABCNews.com confirmed each of the attendees’ presence at the meeting held at the residence of the Rockefeller University president on the campus of the Manhattan medical school. It lasted about five hours, beginning in mid-afternoon and continuing through dinner, Stonesifer said. “This particular group had never come together as a group before but many of the attendees had met in the past either individually or in smaller groups — but never all at once,” she said. “This was a great discussion and they agreed to continue the dialogue and meet again in the future. There were a lot of good ideas.” She said that the discussion “ranged from emergency relief efforts to scholarship efforts, to U.S. education efforts to global health.” Another attendee who asked to remain anonymous described the meeting as “a private gathering of friends and colleagues to share their history and excitement about their philanthropy. [It was] a group together discussing a range of things they are working on.”

Charities Suffer in Recession The meeting was reminiscent of the 1907 salons of America’s foremost financiers held in the study of J.P. Morgan to discuss how private citizens could stop the economic panic. IrishCentral reported that each of the participants was given 15 minutes to propose how to best direct their charity given the global economic climate.

Charities are suffering during the crisis, and America’s top philanthropists likely met to chart a new course for global charity, said Stacy Palmer, editor-in-chief of the Chronicle of Philanthropy. A meeting of the country’s top philanthropists is “extraordinary” and “really unusual,” Palmer said.

“I can’t think of another time they’ve all been in the same room to talk about philanthropy,” she said. “It’s unprecedented.” Gates and Buffet have publicly committed their vast fortunes to the same philanthropic efforts, and Rockefeller, the chairman of Rockefeller Financial Services, comes from a long line of philanthropists.

Gates, the founder and former CEO of Microsoft, who topped the Forbes’ Richest People list this year, has dedicated his foundation to eradicating infectious disease worldwide.

According to Portfolio magazine, Gates, who is worth about $59 billion, donated $3.7 billion from 2002 to 2006 and $10 billion from 2007 to 2008. Warren Buffett, CEO of conglomerate Berkshire Hathaway, was ranked the second-richest man by Forbes this year with a net worth is estimated at $52 billion. Though his giving in the past year is not disclosed, he donated some $46.1 billion between 2002 and 2006, according to Portfolio. In 2006, Buffet pledged $31 billion, the bulk of his fortune, to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, doubling the organization’s endowment virtually overnight.

Though the charitable interests of the participants differ, they have some things in common, said Bob Ottenhoff, CEO of Guidestar, a service that tracks nonprofit organizations. For the most part, the attendees are all self-made. Their donations come from money they made in their own lifetimes, rather than old family fortunes, and they have committed to giving away their fortunes while still alive rather than through bequests after their deaths.

One exception is Rockefeller, scion of the Rockefeller fortune. In 2008, Rockefeller gave $137 million to charity.

Philanthropic Groups Have Global Reach Though the philanthropic focus of each of the participants differs, many of their foundations have a global dimension.

“Each has their specialty. Gates focuses on world health, [CNN founder Ted] Turner on the environment and the UN, Soros is involved in civic engagement,” Ottenhoff said.

Between 1997 and 2006 Turner has donated $1.6 billion, the bulk of which, $1 billion, went to the UN Foundation in 1997.

Soros, a fund manager worth $9 billion, gave $1.1 billion from 2002 to 2006 and $475 million from 2007 to 2008. Much of Soros giving goes to his family’s Open Society Institute. “These sorts of meetings don’t happen very often. It is difficult for large philanthropic organizations to work together. The fact that these are all very engaged living donors means very interesting things can happen,” Ottenhoff said. Both Ottenhoff and Palmer agreed that it was likely the financial crisis that brought everyone together.

Charitable giving has taken a serious hit in recent months, and the power players likely discussed how to keep some nonprofits afloat. “Nonprofits are going through a difficult time. The endowments of many foundations have dropped significantly,” Palmer said. “Many people are not as able to give as much money as the used to. “They are making a statement that donors should continue to give. They are likely planning on a sending a message that philanthropy needs to continue worldwide,” she said. Few of the participants, Palmer said, gave money quietly and she anticipated that the secret meeting was the first step in a plan that would eventually be made public. A number of other people attended the meeting including: Winfrey, worth $2.7 billion, who donated some $50 million in 2007; Bloomberg, founder of Bloomberg LP and Mayor of New York City, who is worth $11.5 billion and donated $205 million from 2007 to 2008; financier Eli Broad who donated $100 million in 2008; and financier Peter Peterson, who committed $1 billion in 2008.

Rothschild, an architect of several privatisations, made its pitch in the weeks running up to the summer recess on July 21, Whitehall sources said. Bankers told leading politicians that the sale of the roads overseen by the Highways Agency — all motorways and most big trunk roads — could help revive battered public finances. Toll-road companies and infrastructure funds would compete to operate and maintain stretches of the network. In one version of the scheme, the government would pay for upkeep through a system of “shadow” tolls. A more radical, and less politically palatable, option would be for companies to charge motorists directly through toll booths or electronic card readers. The RAC Foundation, a motorists’ group, advocated privatisation in a report last week.

The Rothschild plan has already won the support of Vince Cable, the Liberal Democrats’ deputy leader and Treasury spokesman. “This is an attractive, positive idea which could release considerable resources to the public finances and may have real environmental merits,” Cable said. “The scale of it is vast — it makes rail privatisation look like small beer.” Theresa Villiers, the shadow transport secretary, said the Conservatives had “no plans” to back Rothschild’s proposals: “Rothschilds, like many other banks and consultancies, have approached me and my team on a range of ideas for our transport network, including their ideas for our road infrastructure, but we are not working on any proposals for privatisation of the strategic road network and have no plans to do so.” Motorway privatisation was considered by John Major’s Conservative administration, which sold British Rail, but was rejected. A spokesman at the Department for Transport said: “It is not unusual for organisations to suggest ideas to government departments but ultimately all policy is decided by ministers and there are no plans to sell off a stake in the Highways Agency.” Rothschild declined to comment. The bank was behind many of the key privatisations of the 1980s and 1990s, including British Steel, British Gas and British Coal. It has close links to the Conservatives, having employed several senior Party figures including Lord Lamont, John Redwood and Lord Wakeham. Oliver Letwin, the former shadow chancellor, works there part-time. Politicians of all Parties are seeking ways to decrease the need for large tax rises or heavy cuts in public services. Okay, go with me for a second. This is a theory of mine that I came up with while talking to one of my friends. But let’s back up for a second.

Some people lump all angels into one BIG ass classification.

But just like humans have different nationalities, races, social classes, and functions; ANGELS have distinctions amongst themselves.

Could it be possible, that humans are simply a class of angel but a younger version? In a family, the younger child seems to be more spoiled, always forgiven, loves attention, and either very protected or very tortured by the elder siblings.

Could it be that the spiritual influence we feel, the legends and myths we tell, and the power we express as humans simply a signal of our connection with much larger universal family?

If this is true, then as the youngest sibling, HUMANITY is about to develop to it’s NEXT STAGE. HUMANITY is about to learn HOW TO TRULY BECOME DIVINE.

Some History on the Nibiru subject from the Crystal Links website:According to proponents such as renowned historian, Hebrew scholar, author, speaker and archaeologist Zechariah Sitchin and Burak Eldem the Nibiru appearing in Sumerian records correctly refers to a large planetary body. Their research proposes that it possesses a highly elliptical, 3630-year orbit. Such a planet would be approximately in the same orbit as 2000 CR105.

According to these theories of Sumerian cosmology, Nibiru was the twelfth member in the solar system family of planets (which includes 10 planets, the Sun, and the Moon). Its catastrophic collision with Tiamat, a planet that was between Mars and Jupiter, would have formed the planet Earth, the asteroid belt, and the Moon.

This was the result of one of Nibiru’s host satellites colliding with Tiamat, appropriately leaving half a planet, comparable to our Pangea (our current knowledge of all the continents as one land mass), and leaving deeps rifts in the crust beneath the Pacific ocean. It was until recently thought impossible for such large celestial bodies to collide due to intense magnetic force, however, this concept has been given a new life since the introduction of the Orpheus Theory, and the simulation of a collision between objects such as our own earth, and an object half it’s size.

It was the home of a technologically advanced human-like alien race, the Anunnaki of Sumerian myth, who, Sitchin claims, survived and later came to Earth. Sitchin has also transcribed that their travelling to earth was the result of their failing atmosphere (having since been drawn into our solar system from its cosmic passing, the atmosphere of Nibiru was subjected to intense external stress from our sun).

They came in search of gold particles used for their reflective properties (recognized even today by Nasa who plate various objects including astronaut helmet eyeshields) to place in their atmosphere. According to Sitchin, they subsequently genetically engineered our species, originally as slave workers to work in their gold mines, by crossing their genes with those of Homo erectus.

The Anunnaki (“those who from heaven came to earth” in Sumerian) came upon evolution on earth as it had been progressing for billions of years however, they desired to create a worker who could communicate and learn from them. After a slew of failed prototypes an Anunnaki goddess engineered a perfect specimen- the Adam. This was done using 80% of the Inferior specimen and 20% of the superior Anunnaki specimen. It is only recently that we understand DNA as having a double-helix nature, The Sumerians depicted their goddess creator along with snakes in a double helix form with thin bars connecting between them in a spiral fashion. The intertwined snakes are also modern day representatives for the field of medicine.

Sitchin says some sources speak about the same planet, possibly being a brown dwarf star and still in a highly elliptic orbit around the Sun, with a perihelion passage some 3,600 years ago and assumed orbital period of about 3,600 to 3,760 years or 3,741 years.

Sitchin attributes these figures to astronomers of the Maya civilization. Many involved in research of this kind predict a return date of Nibiru passing Earth coinciding with the Winter Solstice of 2012; specifically at 11.11 UT, 21st December 2012.

This also coincides with a rare alignment of the Earth, Sun and centre of the Milky Way , and is asserted to be likely to cause a pole shift. However, scientists argue that a planet with such an orbit would eventually either develop a circular orbit or fly off into space and overwhelmingly consider Sitchin’s claims to be pseudoscience.

The similar orbit of 2000 CR105, however, is accepted by scientists. A brown dwarf with a period of 3,760 years would be clearly evident through infrared and gravitational observations. And it has been. In 1993 Nasa launched the IRAS telescope which picked up the faint image of a large celestial body 3 times the distance of Pluto in our own solar system. In the press conference, the two scientists one named Gerry Neugebauer said that these objects could be “almost anything, from a tenth planet in our solar system to distant galaxies”.

Later much deeper images were taken, and some of the objects were found to be dense gas clouds in our own Galaxy, while others turned out to be very distant galaxies. In fact, these observations heralded the discovery of a new type of object: Ultra-luminous Infrared Galaxies (ULIRGs).

These are galaxies in which there is a burst of stars being born. The cocoons of dust in which the stars are enshrouded generates copious infrared, which is what was detected by IRAS. They published these results in the prestigious Astrophysical Journal.

Another interesting discovery also brought Nibiru into light recently. Eris, the largest known dwarf planet has been discovered on the 21st of October 2003, announced in July 2005 and officially named from 2003 UB313 to “136199 Eris” in 2006.

Originally it was considered as the tenth planet of our Solar System, but in April 2006, according to the new, more precise definition of the term “planet”, it has been designated as a “dwarf planet” along with Pluto and Ceres. Eris has an orbital period of 556.7 years, and currently lies at almost its maximum possible distance from the Sun (aphelion) and will enter Pisces in 2036.

Scriptural Testimony

Mat 24:37  But as the days of Noah, so also will be the coming of the Son of Man.
Mat 24:38  For as they were in the days before the flood: eating, and drinking, marrying, and giving in marriage, until the day when Noah went into the ark.

The Flood of Noah is described in Scripture by two main themes.  Catastrophic judgment and the fallen angels mixing amongst mankind.  The two main themes associated with Nibiru is catastrophic events on earth and heavenly beings mixing amongst mankind.

Gen 6:2  The sons of God saw the daughters of men, that they were good, and they took wives for themselves from all those whom they chose.

On the Mt. of Olives the Messiah speaks of the end of days with great signs occurring in the heavens.

*Here Yoseph speaks of 11 stars, 12 including himself.  Is he speaking of the constellations of the zodiac or perhaps also referring to 12 planets.  The word for planet and star is the same in Hebrew.

Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, Eres(10-21-2003) & Nibiru?

Etymologically, Nibiru is associated with the Hebrew word for wrath, ‘ebrah’ and the Hebrew word for crossing, ‘avar’.  There are a lot of connections to the Nibiru theory when looking at the usage of this word ebrah/wrath in the Scriptures.  It is associated with the Day of YHWH, the skies becoming darkened, great destruction the earth moving out of it’s place etc.

Nibiru=crossing…avar=crossing…ebrah=wrath=Nibiru?

Isa 13:13  So I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall move out of its place, in the wrath* of YHWH of Hosts, and in the day of His fierce anger.

That which is spoken of in Revelation lines up with what would happen if Nibiru/Planet X comes through our solar system

Rev 6:12  And I saw when He opened the sixth seal. And behold, a great earthquake occurred. And the sun became black as sackcloth made of hair; and the moon became as blood;
Rev 6:13  and the stars of the heaven fell to the earth, as a fig tree being shaken by a great wind casts its unripe figs*.
*If Nibiru comes through our solar system it would bring a trail of meteors that would be cast to our as it passes us.  Ancient depictions of this planet describe it as having a tail and appearing as red associating it with the dragon.

Rev 6:14  And the heaven departed like a scroll being rolled up. And every mountain and island were moved out of their places*.

*Many believe this is a description of the poles shifting
Rev 6:15  And the kings of the earth, and the great ones, and the rich ones, and the commanders, and the powerful ones, and every slave, and every freeman hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains.
Rev 6:16  And “they said to the mountains” and to the rocks, “Fall on us,” and hide us from the face of the One sitting on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb

Notice that stars/meteors falling from heaven, the skies becoming darkened is associated with the fallen angels being released upon the earth.  This lines up with the Sumerian writings where the Annunaki came with Nibiru.
Rev 9:1  And the fifth angel trumpeted. And I saw a star out of the heaven falling onto the earth. And the key to the pit of the abyss was given to it.

Again we see that following/during the time of wormwood the horses/locusts come…
Jer 8:16  The snorting of his horses was heard from Dan; all the land trembles at the sound of the neighing {מצהלה
same root as tsitsal/locust} of his stallions (abiyr=angel Psa 78:25). For they come and devour the land and its fullness, the city and those who live in it.
Jer 8:17  For behold, I will send serpents among you, vipers {KJV cockatrices} for which there is no charm; and they will bite you, says YHWH.
Jer 8:18  My refreshing is beyond grief; my heart is sick within me.

*This refers back to the Flood in the days of Noah {Gen. 7:11}.
Isa 24:19  The earth is breaking, breaking! The earth is crashing, crashing! The earth is tottering, tottering.
Isa 24:20  Like a drunkard, the earth is staggering, staggering! And it rocks to and fro like a hut. And its trespass is heavy on it; and it shall fall, and not rise again.
Isa 24:21  And it shall be in that day, YHWH shall punish the army of the high place on high, and on the kings of the land on the land.
Isa 24:22  And they will be gathered, a gathering of prisoners in a dungeon. And they shall be shut up in a prison; and after many days they will be visited.
Isa 24:23  Then the moon shall blush, and the sun shall be ashamed, when YHWH of Hosts shall reign in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem; and before His elders is His glory.
Rev 16:20  And every island fled away, and mountains were not found.
Rev 16:21  And a great hail, as the size of a talent, came down out of the heaven upon men. And men blasphemed God from the plague of the hail, because its plague is exceedingly great.

Psa 46:5  God is in the midst of her; she shall not be shaken; God will help her at the turning of the morning.
Psa 46:6  The nations roared; kingdoms were shaken; He gave forth His voice and the earth melted.
Psa 46:7  YHWH of Hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is a refuge for us. Selah.
Psa 46:8  Come, behold the works of YHWH, who sets ruins on the earth,
Psa 46:9  causing wars to cease to the end of the earth; He breaks the bow and cuts apart spears; He burns the chariots in the fire.
Psa 46:10  Be still and know that I am God! I will be exalted among the nations; I will be exalted in the earth.
Psa 46:11  YHWH of Hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is a refuge for us. Selah.

The book of Amos chapters 8-9 have a lot of strong connections to the Nibiru/Planet X theory.

Amo 8:3  And they will howl the songs of the temple {referring to the future Temple?} in that day, declares the Lord YHWH. The dead bodies shall be many; in every place one shall throw them out, saying, Hush!
Amo 8:4  Hear this, you who swallow up the poor, even to make the humble of the land to cease,
Amo 8:5  saying, When will the new moon have passed, so that we may buy grain? Or the sabbath, so that we may open the wheat, making smaller the ephah, and making greater the shekel, and to falsify the deceitful balances,
Amo 8:6  in order to buy the helpless with silver, and the poor for a pair of sandals, and sell the chaff of the wheat? Is this referring back to Joel 3:6?

Amo 8:8  Shall not the land tremble for this, and all who dwell in it mourn? And all of it shall go up like the light, and it shall overflow and sink like the Nile of Egypt.  Here we see the earth trembling and floods arising
Amo 8:9  And it shall be in that day, declares the Lord YHWH, that I will cause the sun to go down at noon, and I will darken the earth in light of the day.  The darkening of the skies…
Amo 9:5  And the Lord YHWH of Hosts is He who touches the earth so that it melts, and all dwelling in it shall mourn. And all of it will rise up like the Nile, and sink down like the Nile of Egypt.

The word MIXED in the previous verse is the Hebrew word ARAB..the same word for swarms/locusts…is this a connection to the opening of the bottomless pit in Revelation 9 and the locusts who come forth from it?

What is the word for CLAY? Chasaph from the root chaspas=flake-like, scale-like….is this reference to the supposed reptilian “gods” ancestry of the kings, presidents etc. of this world? Seems to be far-fetched but it is interesting that the deeper meaning of miry clay could be scale like demons.

“Aliens” (Fallen Angels) may teach they are the creators of man. Annunaki said they genetically engineered cro-magnum man to create a slave race “adam” in clay jars. Is this why YHWH spoke through Jeremiah saying the following:?
Jer 10:11  So you shall say to them, The gods who have not made the heavens and the earth, they shall perish from the earth and from under these heavens.

Interestingly, Jeremiah 10 is the chapter talking about the “Christmas tree” which can be traced back to the tree of knowledge of good and evil which the heathen religion considers the tree of life.  The tree of life is supposedly a symbol for DNA.  The Christmas tree is then a symbol of the creation of the “god-man.” A symbol for the new golden age of the new Atlantis.

The Scriptures speak of YHWH Elohim as the Creator of man.  The Sumerians spoke of the Annunaki who came from Nibiru as the creators of man.
Gen 1:26  And God {Elohim}* said, let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the heavens, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over all the creepers creeping on the earth.

*This verse can be twisted to mean the Elohim (angels) said let us make man in our image.  It is clear that there is more than one being speaking here.  The testimony of the Scriptures is that it is the Father speaking to the Son.

Act 17:27  That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:
Act 17:28  For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring. (genos)

Here we see that the pagans believed that they were the offspring of the gods.  Roman and Greek mythology trace back to the Sumerians.  The myths of half men/half gods refers back to Genesis 6 but the adversary seeks to teach man that it is referring back to creation where supposedly the Annunaki created mankind in test tubes with part of their DNA and part of ‘cro-magnum’ man’s DNA.

Babylonians, the eternal enemy of Yisrael, had a false god who was supposed to come back in future. His name was Marduk and he beared a three digit number on it. Each digit was one of their enemies’ “sacred numbers”…600, 60, 6

“Here is Wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of a man: And his number is Six hundred threescore and six.”

The term “wisdom” in ancient cultures was often used as the “knowledge of heavens” so the astronomer/priests of the Ancient Near East were the most “wise” men. In this case, it also refers to a knowledge of “mathematics”, the wisdom of the “divine numbers”. It apparently presents a riddle to a “wise person” who has the “wisdom of the heavens and the divine numbers”. That mysterious “Beast” in the Revelation is described as a creature with “seven heads”. And, “upon his heads it had his name of blasphemy.” (26) Seven heads, could well be the “7 stations Marduk passes while travelling towards the Earth”.

It came from the sea: It was not actually “sea” but “Abzu”, the “primeaval sea” in Sumerian cosmology, which directly refers to “outer space”. So this dragon is subject to appear in heavens, most probably in a form of a celestial body. Just like Nibiru/Marduk.

It also had 10 horns with ten crowns on each: In Babylonian mythology, Marduk symbolizes “number 10″.

The Beast brings only destruction and death to the nations: In the Bible Names Dictionary, one of the meanings of the name Merodach was “slaughter and destruction”. It is remarkable that the “shar” (3600) sign also has a secondary meaning in all Mesopotamian cultures: “Destruction”. The 10th planet Nibiru/Marduk’s gravitational pull brings catastrophes and destruction during its orbital passage.

In his marvellous work, “Histoire Universelle Des Chiffres“, French mathematician and writer Georges Ifrah shows the evolution and simplification of Mesopotamian numbers in cuneiform. As the centuries passed, the Assyrrian and Babylonian mathematicians applied a “fine tuning” to the system to provide simplicity. And during the 6th century BC (the accurate time for Israelites’ Babylonian captivity) the system evolved to a very “pure” simplicity: The essential numbers, i.e 3600 and 60 were symbolized only with a “wedge” (which means Number 1) when used in their “own digit”. In other words, when you wanted to write for example, 64, you have to put a “1″ sign in 60’s digit (to indicate that the number contained 1 time 60) and four “1″s to the 1st digit. With this simplification, it was possible to write down the number 3661 using just one sign, used three times in three digits:

After all these taken into account, the riddle of John’s Revelation becomes more clear: Eternal Enemy’s (Babylon) chief deity (Marduk) will appear in heavens in the form of a “celestial dragon” (Nibiru/The 10th Planet), to cause trouble to Earth (earthquakes, volcanic eruptions and flood) in future (after completing its orbital period). It is the “Anti-Christ“. No need to deal with “gematria” in order to solve the riddle of 666.

Clues Get Warm in the Search for Planet X

Recent calculations by the United States Naval Observatory have confirmed the orbital perturbation exhibited by Uranus and Neptune, which Dr. Thomas C. Van Flandern, an astronomer at the observatory, says could be explained by “a single undiscovered planet.” He and a colleague, Dr.   Robert Harrington, calculate that the 10th planet should be two to five times more massive than Earth and have a highly elliptical orbit that takes it some 5 billion miles beyond that of Pluto – hardly next-door but still within the gravitational influence of the Sun.

Some astronomers have reacted cautiously to the 10th-planet predictions. They remember the long, futile quest for the planet Vulcan inside the orbit of Mercury; Vulcan, it turned out, did not exist. They wonder why such a large object as a 10th planet escaped the exhaustive survey by Mr. Tombaugh, who is sure it is not in the two-thirds of the sky he examined. But according to Dr. Ray T. Reynolds of the Ames Research Center in Mountain View, CA, other astronomers “are so sure of the 10th planet, they think there’s nothing left but to name it.”

“All I can say is that we don’t know what it is yet,” says Gerry Neugebaur, director of the Palomar Observatory for the California Institute of Technology. Scientists are hopeful that the one-way journeys of the Pioneer 10 and 11 space probes may help to locate the nameless body.

Some astronomers say the heat-emitting object is an unseen collapsed star or possibly a “brown dwarf” — a proto-star that never got hot enough to become a star. However, a growing number of astronomers insist that the object is a dark, gaseous mass that is slowly evolving into a planet.

For decades, astronomers have noted that the orbits of two huge, distant planets — Neptune and Uranus —deviate slightly from what they should be according to the laws of physics. Gravitational pull from Planet X would explain that deviation.

“Morever,” says Neugebaur, “if we can show that our own solar system is still creating planets, we’ll know that it’s happening around other stars, too.”

In January 1981, several daily newspapers carried a report that Dr. Richard Harrington and his colleague, Dr. Thomas Van Flandern, of the US Naval Observatory, had told a meeting of the American Astronomical Society that “irregularities in the orbit of Pluto indicated that the solar system contained a 10th planet.” A similar story was run by the  New York Times on June 19, 1982.

“One year later, in 1983, the newly launched IRAS (Infrared Astronomical Satellite) quickly found Planet-X: “A heavenly body as large as Jupiter and part of this solar system has been found in the direction of the constellation of Orion by an orbiting telescope” –wrote the Washington Post.

In August 1988, a report by Harrington calculated that its mass is probably 4 times that of Earth.” In 1992, Harrington and Van Flandern published their findings and their conclusion that there is an ‘intruder’ planet. The search was narrowed down to the southern skies, below the ecliptic.

Planet-X is likely to be a brown dwarf whose orbit takes it back and forth between our Sun and our Sun’s twin. Planet-X has an orbit which takes 3660 years.

“When a planet’s orbit is between two suns, instead of round one, that orbit is a bit peculiar. It spends 99.99% of its time slowly going away from one of the suns…to reach the half-way point.

Then…the gravity of the sun it’s approaching takes over, and in a relative flash it travels the other half of its journey. Planet-X reached the halfway point sometime in 2000. It only takes about 3 years to travel the rest of the distance…It’ll be cooking with its greatest speed by the time it passes. Once it crosses Pluto’s orbit, it will only take 90 days to pass right between Earth and the Sun.”

The most likely date for its passage and effect on planet Earth is springtime 2003*. In 1982, even NASA, momentarily officially recognized the existence of Planet-X:

“An object is really there beyond the outermost planets.”

*There was a lot of talk of Planet X passing by the earth in 2003 but it didn’t happen.  Again, there is a lot of talk of this planet passing by the earth in 2012.  At this point, I am very skeptical that this is going to happen.  What is relevant to this topic is the connections that this planet and the theories surrounding it’s passing through our solar system being a fulfillment of end time prophecies.

Today, NASA is trying to sweep the danger under the carpet, claiming that it is nothing more than a large asteroid. But, whereas until early 2001, only the largest telescopes could have seen Planet-X, now even small to mid-level observatories are sighting it. On the 4th of April 2001, the Lowell Observatory reported its magnitude and co-ordinates.

The Sumerians described Uranus in perfect detail as bright green with a unique tilt in its orbit without any known telescopes.  This was not known among modern man until around 1781.
They described Neptune as blue green which was not known until around 1846.

The Sumerians lived before the Flood and had contact with the fallen angelsclick here.  They would have been told the secrets of the universe just as the Book of Enoch describes.  It is these fallen angels, known as the Annunaki, who would have given the Sumerians this advanced knowledge of the heavenly bodies.  Much of what is known about the planet Nibiru/Planet X comes from the writings of the Sumerians, and presumably, what the Annunaki taught them.

In ancient history there is much written about catastophism and heavenly objects that brought destruction, specifically the poles of the earth shifting.  This is what the prophecies in the Scriptures speak of before the return of Adonai Yahshua.

“From a far away land they came, from the end-point of Heaven do the Lord and his weapons of wrath come to destroy the whole Earth. Therefore will I agitate the Heaven and Earth shall be shaken out of its place. When the Lord of Hosts shall be crossing, the day of his burning wrath.” Isaiah 13:1

In Tractate Sanhedrin of the Talmud it is said:

“A terrible comet was seen by the people of Ethiopia and Egypt, to which Typhon, the king of that period, gave his name; it had a fiery appearance and was twisted like a coil, and it was very grim to behold; it was not really a star so much as what it might be called a ball of fire.”

The tradition of the Cashina, the aborigines of western Brazil, is narrated as follows:

The real meaning of ‘the irrational orientation of the southern panel’ and the ‘reversed position of Orion’ appears to be this: the southern panel shows the sky of Egypt as it was before the celestial sphere interchanged north and south, east and west. Plato wrote in his dialogue, The Statesman (Politicus):

‘I mean the change in the rising and the setting of the sun and the other heavenly bodies, how in those times they used to set in the quarter where they now rise, and they used to rise where they now set..’

‘Nothing’ perhaps but the few survivors who were able to carry the tradition of this cataclysm to us today. What Really Lies Beyond Pluto

I have endeavoured to explain Nibiru, the mythical domain of the Annunaki, as a tiny ’star’ system in an eccentric orbit around the Sun. Nibiru is not a terrestrial planet moving through the frozen outer reaches of the Solar System, but rather a failed star known as a brown dwarf with a contingent of moons, at least one of which is life-supporting. Although extremely faint at the sort of distances we are dealing with here, this brown dwarf has been detected indirectly by two independent astronomers, Dr Murray (1) and Dr Matese (2), using data from long period comets. They have assumed it travels in a great circle around the Sun, but there is nothing in their papers that contra-indicates an elliptical orbit. Their assumption was the natural default position to take. A few quotes from the Matese paper should make the uncertainties about this assumption abundantly clear:

“Since the sense of the perturber orbital motion is unknown, we adopt an inclination of I=905 degrees for the perturber orbit normal.”
“For simplicity of discussion we consider a circular perturber orbit.”
“The hemispherical nonuniformity in the observed distribution along the great circle could be due to…eccentricity in the perturber orbit. Unfortunately, the original energy determinations are sufficiently inaccurate due to observational uncertainties and outgassing effects that we cannot use such an analysis as presented above to predict the perturber location, sense of motion, or eccentricity.”

Matese actually points out that the great circular orbit that he proposes, which is polar to the galactic plane, is an “unstable equilibrium configuration” and continues:

“This is not a serious objection to the present conjectured orbit. Under the action of the galactic tide, such an orbit would undergo periodic oscultations…That is, under the action of the galactic tide… the perturber would pass relatively close to the planetary zone every several hundred Myr, comparable to the time scales for strong field star impulses to the Oort cloud which would randomize their orbital parameters and substantively affect the perturber orbit. Hills (1985) has determined that objects of mass <10Mj (Jovian masses) would not damage planetary orbits even if they had passed through the planetary system.”

This instability is an important factor. There is the small matter of how a Jupiter-sized planet could have ended up in the comet clouds in the first place, and I suggest that the situation is indeed volatile. While it is possible that the Great Circular orbit that Murray and Matese independently propose is definitive, it is also quite possible that this instability has brought the planet through the solar system, perhaps not so long ago. By so doing, its orbit has been affected by the other planets. In other words…the orbital configuration as it currently stands is elliptical, and unstable.

In my books Winged Disc (2001) and Dark Star (2005) I offer a physical mechanism by which this could happen.

Matese also states that a body that has several Jupiter masses can exhibit an elliptical, or parabolic, orbit around the Sun, and also that it could pass through the central, planetary Solar System without affecting the orbits of the other planets to any fundamental degree. In fact, he considers it a precondition that the sub brown dwarf would enter the planetary zone periodically, during an orbital fluctuation event known as ‘oscultation’. The idea that Nibiru exists at all is, therefore, not quite so far fetched as one would initially suppose. Also, its size can be as large as 10 Jupiters without inflicting permanent damage to the relatively stable structure of the solar system, even when entering the planetary zone (See DarkStar13).

Where Matese generalizes about a great circular orbit polar to the galactic plane, Murray is far more specific:

“…In the present paper the hypothesis that the 40,000AU clustering id due to a distant unknown planet is examined. Aphelion positions have therefore been plotted for all class 1a comets with distances between 30,000AU and 50,000AU. The resulting distribution of positions is not random. The aphelia are all within 40 degrees of the ecliptic, but, more importantly, those between 0 and 180 degrees longitude show a reasonable approximation to a sine curve, as would be expected if their orbits had been captured into their present configuration by the presence of an unknown distant object orbiting the Sun at an inclination to the ecliptic.”

Murray’s proposed inclination of 307 degrees to the ecliptic, with a retrograde orbit, exactly mirrors the orbit of the 12th Planet, as discussed by Zecharia Sitchin in his books ‘The 12th Planet’ (3) and ‘Genesis Revisited’ (4)

Sitchin quotes the movement of Nibiru, as described by Babylonian astronomers from R. Campbell Thompson’s “Reports of the Magicians and Astronomers of Nineveh and Babylon”:
“When from the Station of Jupiter
the Planet passes toward the west,
there will be a time of dwelling in security…
When from the station of Jupiter
the Planet increases in brilliance
and in the Zodiac of Cancer will become Nibiru,
Akkad will overflow with plenty.”

And from the Book of Job:

“Alone He upon the farthest Deep stretches out the heavens
and treads.
He arrives at the Great Bear, Orion and Sirius
and the constellations of the south…
He smiles his face upon Taurus and Aries;
From Taurus to Sagittarius He shall go.”

In my February 2000 discussion of the Dark Star Theory, I predicted that Nibiru’s perihelion would occur in the Duat, the part of the sky dominated by Sirius and Orion that has such significance for the ancient Egyptians. The above text from the Book of Job, if understood to describe the passage of a celestial body, indicates a movement from the Northern celestial hemisphere (the Great Bear), dropping into the Duat in the Southern Celestial hemisphere, then moving back through the ecliptic at Taurus and Aries. The biblical text says that its motion is back to Sagittarius, but Nibiru would have disappeared from sight long before this.
If the dark star dropped into the Southern celestial hemisphere during its visible movement through the heavens, then it stands to reason that it must be located in the Northern celestial hemisphere at aphelion. So Sagittarius cannot be the location of the dark star, but only the general direction it took as it disappeared. In fact, it must be found North of this constellation, opposite the perihelion point of Sirius in the Southern celestial hemisphere. This would presumably be around the constellations of Aquila and Serpens.

Domain Of The Dragon

Well, Murray discusses the current position of the proposed giant planet/brown dwarf in these terms:

“This places the object at ecliptic longitude 314 14 degrees, and the inclination derived earlier places it at ecliptic latitude +28 7 degrees, or RA 20h 35m, Dec +5 degrees at the present time. Assuming that the undiscovered object exists, there still remains great uncertainty as to its present position.”

RA 20h 35m, Dec.+5 degrees is on the border of the major constellation of Aquila, the Eagle. Well, technically this position is located in the tiny constellation of Delphinus, but given the margin of error pointed out by Murray, Aquila serves as a reasonable approximation.

This would appear to tie in with the biblical passage extremely well. Sitchin’s attempt to place the perihelion of Nibiru in the constellation of Cancer, and aphelion in Sagittarius is erroneous. If these end points of an elliptical orbit really were lying on the ecliptic, then the whole orbit must lie in the plane of the ecliptic, at variance with his claim of a 30 degree inclination.

So some of Sitchin’s thoughts on this matter appear misleading. Aquila seems to sit rather better with the texts quoted above, with Cancer marking the point where Nibiru cuts through the ecliptic on its inward journey, and so perhaps denoting the point when Nibiru becomes visible for the first time.

Therefore, the whole orbit appears thus: Aquila (aphelion), Ursa Major, Cancer, Canis Major and Orion (perihelion), Taurus and Aries, then back in the direction of Sagittarius. The significance of perihelion occurring in the region of the sky between Sirius and Orion is not to be underestimated. This is the sacred Duat and leads us into mythological territory. Therefore, it does not appear unreasonable to look for ways in which Nibiru’s passage though the heavens could be used to explain these myths. It is also important to seek to locate the last passage of Nibiru, knowing that the brightest point occurs in the Duat. This clue is all-important when trying to date the Messianic Star and the Flood.

Nibiru’s Appearance

In searching for clues to indicate the last appearance of Nibiru in our skies, it is necessary to have in mind the description of this celestial entity in our minds. Sumerian accounts of the great celestial battle between Nibiru and Earth’s precursor, the watery monster Tiamat, indicate clearly its identity as a fiery hulk:

“In front of him he set the lightning,
with a blazing flame he filled his body;
He then made a net to enfold Tiamat therein…
A fearsome halo his head was turbaned,
He was wrapped with awesome terror as with a cloak.” (4)

This description of Nibiru by the Sumerians appears to have a later corollary in the Biblical Book of Job, although it is not so clear that we are being told about Nibiru. Clearly, the original texts have been altered to suit the monotheistic dogma of the Hebrews compiling the Bible. However, parallels are apparent between the above Sumerian text about Nibiru and the ’sea-monster’ Leviathan:

“Its snortings throw out flashes of light; its eyes are like rays of dawn.
Burning lamps go forth from its mouth, and sparks of fire leap out.
Smoke goes forth from its nostrils as from a boiling pot or cauldron.
Its breath sets coals ablaze, and flames go forth from its mouth…” Job 41: 18-21
Note how this entity is no longer the victor of the battle in the Hebrew version, but is now the creature defeated by God. This is in keeping with their view that this entity is non other than Satan, representing the ancient pagan religious concept of the Messianic Dragon. But from the Mesopotamian point of view, the victor was the Lord, and the defeated ‘monster’ was the watery Tiamat, the planetary precursor of the Earth. Nevertheless, this awesome description of the brown dwarf appears in the same text as the description of its celestial heavenly passage noted above.

This is clearly no ordinary planet. It seems surrounded by nets, halos, cloak, lightning and flames, and this imagery described its appearance prior to the impact of one of its moons with Tiamat, ruling out these references as being explosions. They are clearly descriptions of Nibiru’s actual appearance, although possibly in an excited state. If one thinks of the corona that one sees around the Sun during a total eclipse, one can begin to grasp the meaning of these verses. This is a fiery entity whose brilliance is not great enough to blind us to its coronal discharge under normal viewing conditions. In other words, a brown dwarf. This brown dwarf has seven moons, which are poetically referred to as “winds” in the texts (literal Sumerian meaning: “Those that are by the side”):

“He sent forth the winds which he had created,
the seven of them; to trouble Tiamat within
they rose up behind him” (4)
Sitchin goes on to describe the immensely destructive effect upon Tiamat of Nibiru’s close passage. Note that Tiamat must have been a considerably larger planet than the Earth, which is understood, from the texts, to have formed from the cleaving of Tiamat in half. So Nibiru must, in turn, be a considerably greater entity than Tiamat to cause the kind of destruction described:
“As the two planets and their hosts of satellites came close enough for Nibiru to “scan the inside of Tiamat” and “perceive the scheme of Kingu,” (soon to become the Moon) Nibiru attacked Tiamat with his “net” to “enfold her”, shooting at the old planet immense bolts of electricity (“divine lightnings”). Tiamat “was filled with brilliance”- slowing down, heating up, “becoming distended.” Wide gaps opened in the crust, perhaps emitting steam and volcanic matter. Into one widening fissure Nibiru thrust one of its main satellites, the one called “Evil Wind”. It tore Tiamat’s “belly, cut through her insides, splitting her heart.” (4)

In this case, size matters! To have the sort of global destructive power that Nibiru unleashed without actually making contact with Tiamat, then we are looking at a planetary size of gas giant proportions at the very least. The added descriptions of the lightning strikes and enveloping corona point to a mini-sun, or dark star. What is totally clear is that this monstrous sized planet is not a terrestrial-type world. If it were, then its size compared to Tiamat it would be like the Moon compared to the Earth. No one could seriously imply that a body the size of the Moon would destroy the Earth during a close passage, without even touching it. Nibiru must be very considerably larger than Tiamat, which in turn was proportionately larger than the Earth. So how does Sitchin come to the conclusion that Nibiru is terrestrial-sized? Simply because this notion is fundamental in trying to show that humanoid beings live on Nibiru. In my opinion, this was an error of judgment. If ‘alien’ beings are to be found, they live on one or more of Nibiru’s moons, not on a planet so massive that its gravitational attraction can prove so destructive. I will expand on this in later web-site additions, but preliminary study reveals the home-world of the Annunaki to be Dilmun, whose description implies it to be the 7th (innermost) moon of Utu (Nibiru). (5)

Conclusion
So, from the Sumerian texts, we can conclude that Nibiru is a titanic, fiery ‘planet’ that has many star-like attributes. It also has seven moons, which are visible to observers on Earth. In other words, they are brighter than the Gallilean moons of Jupiter, which can only be seen through binoculars. This implies one or more of the following things; they are bigger than Io, Europa, Callisto and Ganymede, they are lit by both our Sun and the fiery light of Nibiru, and/or they are seen when Nibiru is closer to us than Jupiter. It is clear that the appearance of Nibiru and her seven moons is a dramatic and eye-catching event in the heavens.

I do not envision a situation where its appearance could have been missed, particularly as many of the ancient religions were expectant of its return, with their devotees far more aware of the stars than most of us are today.

There is also the possibility that Nibiru brings with it a small retinue of comets which it drags into the Solar System. As Murray and Matese are assuming that the long range comets that they are studying have been affected by the passage of a massive body through the Oort cloud, then it is not unreasonable to assume that some comets will swing into the inner Solar System, dragged in by the accelerating movement of the brown dwarf as it moves through the inner Oort Cloud, the Kuiper belts and enters the Solar System proper. As such, the sky around Nibiru may contain comets, adding to the halo effect, perhaps even giving the brown dwarf a ‘tail’.

Note that any small planetary bodies which are permanently orbiting Nibiru will not eject cometary tails like normal long-distance comets. The reason for this is that the heat of the brown dwarf would, itself, drive off the volatile gases that create the comet tail effect. Nibiru could, for instance, have a large retinue of asteroids or tiny moons orbiting it, but these would no more eject gases, as they entered the Solar System, than would the asteroids in the belt between Jupiter and Mars. Saying that, the classifications of what are asteroids and what are comets are becoming less clear all the time as our data-base of these entities increases. Nevertheless, small planetary bodies permanently in the vicinity of a brown dwarf would inevitably lose their volatile ices.

But that is not to say that Nibiru’s gravitational pull would not cause an epidemic of normal comets to enter the Solar System, and this could account for periodic environmental catastrophes on Earth. It may also give the ‘dragon’ a tail. In his semi-fictional work “The Lost Book of Enki”, Sitchin alludes to a fiery body appearing in the sky; a ‘flaming dragon’, or ‘monstrous demon from the celestial deep’, and identifies it as a flaming comet associated with Nibiru (6). Given that a comet moving through space could not actually be on fire, unless burning up in Earth’s atmosphere, I think the description would better describe Nibiru itself.

Nibiru would get excited by its close proximity to the Sun during perihelion, warming it and creating a coronal aura as its brown dwarf status is energized. This coronal discharge would not encircle Nibiru, but would be swept back by the Solar Wind, appearing like a pair of fiery wings flying towards the Sun. For more details, see DarkStar21.

Would this not look remarkably like a celestial fiery bird, or dragon? Is it the Phoenix of Egyptian mythology, reborn periodically in the sky, or the celestial dragon that makes up so much of Chinese and Arthurian mythology? Does this understanding also correlate with the “Messianic Dragon” mythology revealed by Sir Laurence Gardner in his Grail Series? (7) The Messianic Dragon can be understood as a duality underlying much heretical knowledge. It reflects the conflict between Horus and Set in Egyptian mythology. The brown dwarf resides for the most part in the constellations of Aquila and Serpens, the Eagle and the Serpent. Combine these and you have a celestial dragon. This point of aphelion is opposite the Duat in the celestial sphere, which the evidence above commends as perihelion.

Tomorrow Emmerich’s ultimate disaster movie has worldwide premiere. Most reviews have already given it thumbs down and based on what I have seen of the movie so far I am not likely to give it a positive remark. For those not acquainted with what the 2012circus is about here follows a short summary of the main issues that I have covered on this blog so far.

For a small but still growing group of people December 21, 2012 will be a fateful day. Several made up prophecies will not fulfill. Some of these people will probably say “never mind” and search for a new doomsday in some ancient text. Hopefully most people will feel betrayed and fooled. The market for books, websites, blogs and forums concerning 2012 authored by self proclaimed prophets and experts, along with good old Nostradamus, have increased tremendously, especially in the US. Most of these prophets make a living out of people’s search for the meaning of life or the wish for a better world. Ancient societies are ascribed several noble qualities and knowledge we are supposed to learn from. However, most of the prophets focus on people’s fear and emphasize the end of the world and appear in classy magazines like Playboy. But it is a Christian apocalypse these people visualize.

The 2012 circus is a mish mash of pseudoscience, new age, creationism and conspiracy theory. No homogenous frame exist and the field is full of false dichotomies, like when it is argued that we have to choose between a perverted creationism or a cold and dead science. With this logic it is sometimes argued that aliens and/or Atlantis are relevant alternatives.

What is 2012?

This modern phenomenon has only a superficial connection to the ancient Maya ”culture” (I use exclamation marks since I dislike the culture concept as such but that is beyond the topic of this post). It is mainly the date that the Maya has contributed with. The prophets link this date with other myths and cosmologies from other parts of the world and argue that there is an ancient global reason why all these calendars and cosmological systems end on the same date (which simply is not true). A problem that these prophets avoid is that not even professional Mayanists agree upon the correlation between the Gregorian/Julian calendars and the Maya calendar(s). A competing correlation sets the date two days later (December 23, 2012).

Whatever correlation we use, why is this date so special? First one need to understand how the so-called Maya Long Count (LC) calendar works. It usually has five levels or periods: k’in (1 day), winal (20 days), tun (18 winals or 360 days), k’atun (20 tuns), and baktun/pik (20 k’atuns). Wherever we find the LC mentioned it is always followed by two other calendars: tzolk’in (260 days) and haab (365 days) that both together form a cycle that takes 52 years to repeat, the so called Calendar Round (CR). The LC, CR plus some additional calendars form the Initial Series which begin many dated monuments. We leave these other calendars for now since the LC works in another way but it should be pointed out that the CR also is known in other parts of Mesoamerica, such as among the Aztecs.

If we take tomorrow’s date in the LC it is transcribed like this: 12.19.16.15.4. This means that it has gone 12 baktuns/piks, 19 k’atuns, 16 tuns, 15 winals and 4 days since the beginning of the calendar (0.0.0.0.0). This occurred in 3114 BC, but this date coincides with the end of a preceding “cycle” of 13 baktuns. 0.0.0.0.0 is therefore the same as 13.0.0.0.0. Since a preceding “cycle” ended on 13 baktun it is believed that the current “cycle” also should end on 13 baktun.

Only Monument 6 at Tortuguero in Mexico mentions the future 13.0.0.0.0 (4 Ajaw 3 K’ank’in in tzolk’in and haab). The monument says that “The Thirteenth “Bak’tun” will be finished, (on) Four Ajaw, the Third of Uniiw (K’ank’in), ? will occur, (It will be) the descent(??) of the Nine Support? God(s) [Bolon Yookte’ K’uh] to the ?.” The question marks show where the epigraphers are unsure of the meaning of the glyphs or where the inscription is unreadable. We simply do not know what this inscription means. It is particularly the deity/deities Bolon Yookte’ K’uh that is the target for various interpretations. This deity is related to warfare, conflicts and the Underworld. Such associations fit like the hand in the glove (Swedish expression) for catastrophe theorists. This descending divinity is interpreted as either aliens or Jesus. However, the inscriptions may not even relate to 2012 but rather to the dedication of the monument in AD 669.

It is important to emphasize that no inscription support the idea that the LC would end in 2012 and begin anew. It is the projection of the “creation date” to its end that is the basis for this belief. The five leveled LC began at 13 baktun/pik (3114 BC) and hence it should end on the same date according to not only the prophets but also to for example Anthony Aveni, a well known archaeoastronomer. However, this is just a guess. What often is left out of the picture is the fact that in the Temple of Inscriptions at Palenque in Mexico there is a date mentioning the 80^th CR anniversary of king Janaab Pakal’s death in AD 683. This is AD 4772 and transformed into the LC system this is in fact in the next piktun which is the level above baktun. One piktun equals 20 baktuns. This is a good indication that the Maya never saw something extraordinarily ending or beginning in 2012. Not only did the calendar begin in 3114 BC since inscriptions at Coba sets the date of creation to roughly 2.7 x 10³⁰ years ago.

It is also misleading to say that the Maya had a cyclical view of time. The tzolk’in and haab calendars repeat and together they also form the recurring CR of 52 years. But the LC works differently and its periods are not cyclical but are cumulative. In inscriptions the periods are stacked on top of each other with the longest and “heaviest” periods at the top, literally creating a burden of time.

The 2012prophets

The above data is either distorted or ignored by most 2012 prophets. All agree that the timeframe of 5126 years (3114 BC – AD 2012), is significant on a global level. The beginning of the calendar roughly coincides with the first dynasty in Egypt, early dynasties in Mesopotamia, etc. These are not coincidences according to them. It is usually seen as the result of a cataclysmic event when Plato’s imagined island of Atlantis sank and its survivors spread knowledge to other places. All civilizations have the same origin, what we in archaeological terms call hyperdiffusion, a school of thought abandoned by serious archaeologists more than a century ago. This imagined island is used to explain why there are “pyramids” here and there, such as the imagined pyramids in Bosnia (the proponents neglect that the “pyramids” all have different form, emerged at different times and that they in all cases are preceded by a local development from smaller buildings).

Another version is that alien astronauts from another planet in our solar system (Nibiru), called Annunaki (which the ancient Sumerians called gods according to Zecharia Sitchin), used humans as slaves and instructed them to build monumental buildings. This idea, along with the Atlantis theories, is ethnocentric, reminiscent of the “white man’s burden” ideas during the European colonialism. The Maya, Egyptians, Sumerians, Incas, etc. are simply not believed to have been able to think, plan and construct something pyramids, ziqqurats or any other monumental structure. This is one of the worst tendencies among the 2012ers and symptomatically these proponents tend to have poor knowledge of the specifics of each “culture.” These old age ideas are far from the 2012ers aspirations of thinking outside the box.

In fact, few 2012 prophets have bothered reading up on the Maya. An exception to this is John Major Jenkins, but his version of Maya cosmology, originally influenced by “real Mayanists” such as Linda Schele and David Freidel, is still a distortion of the available data. He argues that the LC is a kind of countdown to the “end date”. His main argument is that at the winter solstice on December 21, 2012, the Earth and sun are aligned with the centre of the Milky Way. The problem is only that this phenomenon has occurred for several years and will continue to do so for the years to come. The Maya had great astronomical/astrological knowledge but what Jenkins says is that the Maya knew about the precession of the equinoxes, a cycle that takes 25,800 years to complete. Today the Earth’s axis points towards the Polar Star but it has not always done this since the Earth’s axis wobbles and the night sky change through time. It is probably not impossible that ancient astronomer’s could have calculated the length of this so-called Platonic year. The main problem is that his “evidence” actually boils down to a multiplication of the LC’s five lowest levels (5126 years) with five. This gives us a period of 25,630 years which roughly correlates with a Platonic year.

Why five? Here we find yet another common fallacy of the 2012ers and that is because this idea actually is based on Aztec mythology. According to the Aztecs they lived in the fifth Sun/creation and that four earlier creations predate the current one. There is no evidence that the Classic and Formative period Maya believed in these four creations (when the LC was in use). It is true that the much later Colonial book of Popol Vuh mentions earlier failed attempts to create human beings but there were never four cataclysmic events associated with this. However, one often sees the so-called Aztec calendar stone representing the Maya LC, the 2012 “end date” and the five creations. However, the Aztecs never used the LC, there is no “end date” of the current Aztec creation (2027 is the next time it may end). This calendar stone is not even a real calendar and its circular shape “supports” the illusion of the cyclical nature of Maya LC prevalent among 2012ers. Robert Bast, the founder of the largest 2012 forum on internet, says that the Aztec calendar stone has a higher aesthetic appeal than the Initial Series of Maya monuments and that this justifies its use in 2012 literature! It would be like having a statue of an Assyrian king to represent an Egyptian pharaoh. Another problem with the Aztec creations is that they all had different durations, being multiples of CRs. However, for Jenkins’ model to work all of his five Maya creations must have the same length (13 baktuns). This is a common pattern among 2012ers: they pick bits from here and there that superficially support their predetermined ideas and they ignore associated pieces that don’t support it. Hence they always come up with neat and perfect models that never are supported by actual evidence.

Terrence McKenna, Sergey Smelyakov and Carl Johan Calleman represent those “2012ers” who argue that the LC has something to say about the evolution of the universe, life and consciousness. McKenna’s novelty theory is used as a tool to predict when something novel will occur. It is a graph based on the Chinese oracle instrument called i-ching (it says ka-ching in McKenna’s cash register) . He used this to show that an event occurring at one time is related to an event occurring at another date. Time is fractal, an idea also championed by Gregg Braden, and these events repeat at a higher intensity and speed the closer we get to the “end time”. At one point only change will occur and this will occur on December 21, 2012. McKenna originally used the Hiroshima atomic bomb as the beginning of the last fractal period of 67.29 years (a periodicity that does not exist in the Maya area). But 67.29 years from the Hiroshima bomb ends up in November 2012. This was not good enough so he corrected his own theory to make it end on December 21, 2012 instead! That is a clear sign of fraud.

Calleman is a similar designer of a personal comsology and argues that the LC reflects evolutionary periods/durations in the development of the universe, life and consciousness. Basically, he says that the ancient Maya knew that the universe is billions of years old since a higher level of the LC roughly fits the length of the current universe. He apparently rationalizes away the extremely long LC at Coba. Another major problem is that the other LC levels not always fit other important “phases” of the emergence of the universe, such as the formation of the Earth, the emergence of life forms, the earliest vertebrae animals, the first terrestrial tetrapods, the first mammals, etc. He is also arguing that the Maya got the “end date” wrong! It should be in October 2011. Recently he has predicted that money will loose its value sometime after November 7 this year (five days ago). Bad news for Emmerich, no one will be able to pay for his spectacle.

Neither Jenkins, McKenna or Calleman belongs to the catastrophic/end of days faction which Emmerich’s movie represents. This faction is the most problematic and harmful if one is to believe the anxiety some people expresses on the 2012 forums. Patrick Geryl is most popular and he argues that the magnetic field of the sun will generate enormous solar eruptions that will affect the magnetic field of the Earth. The magnetic poles will shift at an instant moment and this will cause giant earth quakes, tsunamis and intensive volcanic eruptions. The whole surface of the Earth will change its face and continents will move several hundred km. This has of course already been predicted by Atlantis and the knowledge was handed down to the Maya. Lawrence Joseph argues that a Supervolcano at Yellowstone will erupt and it is possible that terrorists will ignite the whole volcano by detonating a nuclear device. I hope Al Qaida does not read Joseph’s instructions.

Zecharia Sitchin’s fictional planet Nibiru/Marduk is by some believed to return in 2012. Burak Eldem suggests that this planet (or sun?) will cause disasters of unheard of consequences. But this has of course already been predicted by the ancients since the planet already have caused made up disasters earlier in history. This is all related to Atlantis. Atlantis and/or Nibiru are also component parts of the frequent conspiracy theories. These theories argue that the knowledge of the return of Nibiru is known by the leaders of the world and that NASA tries to hide information about the upcoming disaster. Politicians want to let us live in ignorance, not knowing anything about our inevitable death. The mighty have already built bunkers to survive the catastrophes and a new world order will arise after the apocalypse. Bast argues that the pyramids throughout the world actually are bunkers from earlier disasters. There is even a Swedish man who wishes to use the small Swedish mountain Kinnekulle to build bunkers for 144,000 people (this is as many days as there are in a baktun…). This place is to be called swEden. Sect like tendencies like this can be found at many places, particularly in the US.

The sect-like tendencies of the 2012circus doomsday fanatics should not come as a surprise. The whole 2012circus is full of Christians and Creationists. Sweden’s own Saint Bridget (Birgitta) is related to the 2012 apocalypse. This is usually combined with Jewish/Christian numerology and gematria nonsense as well. December 21, 2012 can, according to some, be transformed into 666, the number of the beast (but if you use December 23 or the Orthodox calendar you will get another number…). This is yet another example of the ethnocentrism that permeates the circus. Worst of the bunch is the hardcore creationist David Jay Jordan who calls the Maya a bloodthirsty savage race (I guess he has seen Apocalypto, directed by yet another Christian). He argues that since the winter solstice 2012 occurs on 11:11 PM GMT, this is significant since number 11 is important according to God’s plan. Not only does he not consider the fact that people outside the US and UK writes this time as 23:11 which create another combination of numbers. He, along with other numerologists, ignores the fact that the Maya used a vigesimal number system based on 20 and that they only used three signs to represent numbers (shell for “zero”, a dot for one and a bar for five). One cannot simply transform one numerological system into another. Perhaps I do not even need to comment his emphasis of GMT time in the UK and that the lowest time period the Maya had was one day, they could not possibly calculate a solstice to the minute.

This is just the tip of the iceberg. I have not even discussed ideas developed by Pinchbeck, Arguelles, Tsarion and Wilcock. These people and others will be covered on this blog (as will a more in-depth critique of Jenkins). There are plenty of other topics related to the 2012circus (but not to the Maya) that will be discussed in the future three years.

In conclusion, the 2012 circus has only to do with our present. It has nothing to do with an ancient Maya prophecy since none exist. Extremely few contemporary Maya are involved in this and most of them understand that this has a US-Christian apocalyptic new age origin. However, some Maya elders have been seduced by non-Maya new agers who have found their worldview of interest. But these elders never mention December 21, 2012. Even if the talk about the end of days one should always keep in mind that the Maya area have been under Christian influence for over 450 years. As with many other phenomena, even their view of time has changed to a substantial degree.

The LC ceased to be used in the early 10^th century AD. Although one find LC dates in later codices these codices are Postclassic copies of older manuscripts. On monumental inscriptions we have no date after AD 909. During the Postclassic period the Maya used the Short Count, a 13 k’atun cycle called the may (which some Mayanists argue is the origin for the name Maya). However, 2012 has become important to the contemporary Maya as well. It has become important in the light of the 2012circus. The date is to be “reclaimed” from the 2012hoaxers who exercises a new colonialism of both the ancient and contemporary Maya. The calendar(s) have become important ethnic markers and it is in relation to this politicization that the Maya interest of the LC should be seen. Even Mel Gibson’s movie Apocalypto was more accurate than these prophecies of nonsense.
