Recently I got thrown back in the wild. After dating a babe for like a year and a half it ended. So I am back in the scene so to speak. All I am saying is that I have been to lots of parties and nowhere are there actually girls like this. I don’t think they exist actually and they are digitally generated. Unless your at an Anon shoot. I need to be there huh. Or maybe even Orlando instead of Winter Haven. I wouldn’t say I am striking out but the talent pool just might not be deep enough. At least now I get to post tons of sexies and not get a nasty text a day later. So thats a plus for all.

An acquaintance of Greg’s shared that his wife had to undergo medical tests.

I would imagine the period of time between the testing and receipt of the results was filled with stressful thoughts, questions of “What if . . ?” and tearful conversations.  When the results were returned, however, they revealed absolutely no abnormality, and a clean bill of health was issued.

Sharing the good news on Facebook, the husband’s relief was evident. Greg’s friend concluded his account with, “Thanks for nothing!”

What a great response!  Nothing was exactly the result they wanted to receive, and he was celebrating!

Typically, we use the phrase, “Thanks for nothing!” in a condescending manner, indicating the other person has failed to deliver in a way we had expected. We’re disappointed or angry that we didn’t get what we thought we rightly deserved.

But this man’s response was quite unexpected. He wasn’t just relieved; he was thankful for nothing.

It started me thinking about all the times we really should be thankful for nothing. When “nothing” is the very best thing we could ever hope to receive:

• No disease, no disasters, no disappointments.
• No illness, no illusions, no calamities.
• No accidents, no setbacks, no misfortunes.
• No mistrust, no uncertainty, no inconsistencies.
• No cutbacks, no downsizing, no worries.

For grief unsuffered, tears unshed,
for clouds that scattered overhead;

For pestilence that came not nigh,
for dangers that passed me by;

For sharp suspicion smoothed, allayed,
for doubt dispelled that made afraid;

For fierce temptation that well withstood,
for evil plot that brought forth good;

For weakened links in friendship’s chain
that, sorely tested, stood the strain;

For many years I carried round in my wallet a little card with a short poem in slightly blurred ink, given to me by a dear friend. There was no author’s name, but I suspect it is from a Chinese anthology and probably quite ancient – I’ve never checked to see whether the translation was by Pound or Waley, for example, which it may be.

When ice on the pond is four feet thick
And white snow stretches a thousand miles
My heart will still be like the pine and the cypress
But your heart, what will it be?

In some ways it seems quite plaintive – “but your heart, what will it be?” But carrying it reminded me that some hearts are indeed sturdy and true – like the pine and the cypress – and that friendships endure, even though wintry periods.

It seems that Scientology is losing steam here and elsewhere…

Over the course of two days last week, a French court convicted the church of fraud and Oscar-winning filmmaker Paul Haggis’ resignation from the church over a litany of concerns was aired publicly.

Plus the fact there was a defection of some of its high level members.

The allegations of violence were leveled by four former high-ranking Scientology executives who told their stories to the St. Petersburg Times last summer. The executives said they witnessed Miscavige, chairman of the board that oversees the church, hit staff members dozens of times and urged others to do the same.

It seems like the CoS is headed down a downhill slide from the looks of it.

Hi poets!

I’ve mentioned that the long poem I’m working on is in conversation with another poem, one written by Bertolt Brecht in the early 1940’s.

I’d like to start out by posting a link to that poem, read by a German actress who worked with Brecht. The image montage shows the woman the poem is about. My poem is about her, too.

Nowadays we are living with things full with counterfeit things, sex transforming, plastic surgery, artificial nature, richest cosmetic make-up, a man able to transform to woman, a woman affix to become a man, house is not a home, building is not just an architecture, endeavor of aroma developing beyond than its natural existed till do not know its merit. It seems to be that human is looking for maximum perfection of their life and love.

Nevertheless, pre-known of perfection should be recognize should be recognize after understanding in imperfection.

Do we need the most beautiful thing from our boundless desire? Do we try to set value of maximum beautiful to set value of maximum beautiful of the finest thing by its excess price; it does not mean that costly things reflect its owner great taste? Luxury may reflect bad taste.

Thus, Does people looking for finest material super furniture, super functional, someone’s predicted trend in modern world, best proportion which defined by small group of people?

A part exhibition is not answering all those questions. Now, question we want audiences to find the answer from their mind. However, it seems to be an undone design. Be just a thing from something we naively integrated. Be embellished from different things or inexistence combination way of these things.

Things from history, ancient are just an obsolete object we should praise or be tools for us to recreate new things from them. This project attempt to make it seems undesigned, fearless and most innocent understandable design.

Finally, a part which is done by human will not be just “a part”. Furthermore, Will a part be just a part? Does existence of our finished work available? Our dreamt beautiful life has its programmed path or just need to follow the existed social, norm, culture civilization?

Intended of “a part” exhibition is pass forward goodness message to the others more than just the best furniture design.
