One of the most powerful tools that works with DVD Catalyst is AnyDVD.

AnyDVD, a commercial application by SlySoft, is the best companion for DVD Catalyst. While DVD Catalyst can handle most DVDs without any issues, some of the newer DVDs feature a protection system that can cause some weird issues.

AnyDVD is an application that works as a layer between the DVD movie and a DVD application. It works in the background, and strips DVDs from protection, removes traps (fake tracks), and even makes them region-free. While there are other programs that can do this, these programs copy the DVD to your computer, which takes time and harddisk space. AnyDVD does it transparent to the program, and does not require you to copy the DVD to your computer.

With AnyDVD running, any DVD application will see the DVD as an unprotected DVD, enabling the application to have full access without worries. For DVD Catalyst, the benefits are substantial, which is why we have a link on the frontpage to it.

With AnyDVD installed,

*DVD Catalyst detects DVDs faster. Fake tracks are already removed by AnyDVD, so these will not be scanned.

*DVD Catalyst converts faster. The protection is removed, so DVD Catalyst does not have to work around this.

*DVD Catalyst converts more reliable. With the fake tracks removed, and other protection issues such as mixed up scene ordering, conversions of tougher DVDs will work even better.

AnyDVD is not free, but can be used with all DVD applications, including DVD Catalyst.

Entre los programas listados se encuentran:  WinDirStat para monitorear el espacio en disco, AnyDVD para realizar copias de DVD’s protegidos, Foxit PDF Reader útil y ligero lector de PDF, Dropbox para almacenamiento en línea, Skype para realizar llamadas, videoconferencias y chat, Firefox el navegador por excelencia, CPU-Z para ver detalles acerca de los componentes de tu ordenador, Filezilla para cargar archivos a un servidor FTP, IsoBurn para quemar discos con archivos ISO, Keepass para administrar tus contraseñas, Digsby para chat entre programas de mensajería y algunas redes sociales, Notepad++ como editor avanzado de texto,  uTorrent para descargas de archivos torrents, Picasa de Google para administrar las imágenes almacenadas en tu ordenador o compartirlas a través de la web, Audacity para editar archivos de audio, 7-Zip como compresor de archivos, GIMP para editar imágenes, VLC Player reproductor de audio y video, Thunderbird el cliente de correo de Mozilla, entre otros.

Algunos de ellos los utilizo ó he utilizado alguna vez. En algunos casos he encontrado alternativas más acordes a mi necesidades, como en el caso de Syncplicity en vez de Dropbox.

Illegal, das heisst verboten. SLYSOFT stellt Kopierschutzumgehungssoftware her. Der Firmenname allein klingt ja so nach Stallone, verbietet sich also von vornherein. Hatte ich schon erwähnt, dass die SW verboten ist? Laut OLG München, das liegt in der Bauernprovinz Bayern.

Also ich habe Verständnisschwierigkeiten bei diesem Produkt. ‘AnyDVD’?? Hmm, kann ich nun mit dieser Box alle Filme sehen? Ich meine alle?! Wie kriegt Slyfox alle Filme in diese Box? Det kof ich euch nich ab.
