I’m done.

I’m through.

It’s over.

I’m finished trying to run, finished trying to control, and finished trying to be independent. Trying to be a grown-up. Let fate fall where it may, and I guess I’m leaning against the old fallback of “if God wills it.”

But seriously. At this point, if God wills it, I’ll be one intensely blessed grateful dumb shit.

I’m done.

I’m done with pretending that I’m an adult. I’m not, okay? So get over it and leave me alone. I’m struggling to get into a college that I know I’m not prepared for in a competitive world that’s waiting with eager, dripping jaws to eat me alive. I’m not ready.

I’m through.

I’m through sitting back and letting my hundreds of responsibilities run amok over me. It’s partially my fault through disorganization, partially my fault through neglect. I’m doing so much I can’t focus on the important things. If something doesn’t go, I will. I’ll go insane. So I’m through being trampled by my own many loves and passions, and I’m through being choked and hung by the dramas of my friends and school life. I’ve got to distance myself from it, before it gets me. If I don’t focus, and work my ass off on the thing that is most important, I won’t get anywhere. Ever.

It’s over.

So it’s over, kids, and here I am typing as a shakily resolute and keenly terrified individual who’s not grown up and who’s ready to practice and who really just wants to stay home and love her life and her family in peace.

But Time and Nature won’t allow it. So ready or not, I’m out in less than a year. If I go to a shitty school, well hey, that’s my own fault. Goodbye, Eastman. Nice looking at your name on the website, C.I.M. I wish I would have been good enough. I’m sorry for wasting your time, Heather. I’m deeply sorry, Mrs. Ripley.

What happens, happens. If I can’t contact anyone and have them be my savior with my transcript and SAT score report today, then I am fucked. And who can or will help me, the irresponsible procrastinator who is falsely deluding herself that she can make it in the vicious world of music?

I just want to sing. And that will probably never happen now, because I’m a fucking retard.

So guess what.

I’m done.

With the wealth of travel destinations available to us all now, the question is why consider Costa R

With the wealth of travel destinations available to us all now, the question is why consider Costa Rica over anywhere else for your vacation this year?

Costa Rica is just a few hours flight from the United States yet offers a varied range of possibilities for a vacation spot.

For the adventurous traveller Costa Rica offers rainforests, mountains and wilderness in great magnitude. You can go rapelling, flying down zip lines, running across bridges slung between treetops and atv driving easily, safeky and cost effectively.

For the nature lover Costa Rica probably has more wildlife than virtually anywhere else on the planet. Coati, sloths, jaguar, tapir, four species of monkey and more butterflies than anywhere else in the world make this a nature lovers mecca. For the avid bird watcher there are toucans, macaws, vultures and a host of others.

For the family vacation there are sunny, safe beaches and resorts on the Pacific coast where you can experience 5 star service, swimming pools and world class cuisine.

For the surfer, sandy beaches covered in palm trees and excellent waves can be found on both coasts. Many if them offer a social aspect too as they are so relaxed and chilled out that you may never want to leave.

So Costa Rica might of interest? Great. Getting to Costa Rica is easy enough with regular flights into the capital – San Jose – from the United States. From here you can catch standard buses to anywhere you like in the country (if you have the time) for just a few dollars. Alternatively order one of the tourist shuttle buses that will take you direct to your hotel or anywhere else in the country you desire. Taxis can also be found everywhere though are most abundant in San Jose.

Lastly, if you’re feeling a little richer, you can use one of the two small internal airlines to take you to one of the small runways across the country. It is, as you might imagine, the fastest but most expensive way to travel around the country.

Hotels range from the cheapest hostels in shared dorms for just a few dollars a night up to 5 star resorts like Tabacon Hot Springs in Arenal that charges several hundred dollars a night – but provides unlimited access to the hot springs along with your hotel room.

Food tends to be down to earth apart from the posh hotels and resorts but is still perfectly acceptable in nature and standard. From the Costa Rican dish Casado, a combination of vegetables, rice, beans and meat (which is very tasty indeed) to burgers, pasta and pizza most tates are suitably accounted for. Luckily the food doesn’t tend to be overly spicy and is generally reasonably priced. Drinks can consist of fantastic, locally grown coffee or fresh fruit smoothies at a tiny percentage of what you’d pay back home.

So choose your activities, buy your ticket and pack your bags. We’ll see you down here soon!

‘The Dot and the Line’ , una historia de amor entre ‘el punto y la línea”, basada en el libro del arquitecto y autor Norton Juster, publicado en 1963 por Random House; que en 1965 el famoso animdor Cuck Jones adaptaría gracias a la producción de la Metro Goldwyn Mayer. Naarrado por Robert Morley, este cortometraje fue nominado a los Oscars y ganador de la Palma de Oro de Cannes en 1966.

PS: The one thing that keeps us away from growth is when we keep ourselves away from books. I intently believe in this. And for that reason, I believe books are commodities which have to be available anywhere, anytime. You’d say I should probably talk about Kindle, but I say it’s a different world when you read real books- which flesh, and paper which you touch. And this posts exists to talk about the amazing thought of getting ‘em books available anywhere to anyone.

Once upon a time on this unruly July day, I decided to share and “give”. I’m not much of a gift person to my friends- infact half the time I am late or confused, and most of my presents to date have been hand written letters or postcards. Old fashioned, one may assume. On my “give” day however, I noticed that the recipient was a mere 9000 miles (as per the ticket, I’m still pretty much Kms.) away. Now, that is a lot of away I needed to conquer to give. For once (after a pleasant experience on Amazon UK) I bought a book (that’s all I could think of clearly) and sent my friend a gift- for the first time. We all know it’s a great feeling and blah and blah.

Several moons later, when I had been mesmerized by the discussion of this one playwright, I decided to “give” a book to myself. I was pretty much bummed by the fact that Amazon cleverly had decided not to have an India site- I really want to understand why! – and then I decided to look for Indian book shops- online.

As I put it on Twitter (the question), I got suggested several. And several online book stores started following me immediately. The typical thing I do is to check out the follower, which is how I first saw Le Books. For one, it’s a great looking site- albeit it takes time to load (which I haven’t quite understood the reason for). It ‘looks’ like a book site too. The design, and the colours are book-like, and warm, not stark. And it doesn’t look like a half baked effort, which is what most “online buying” sites- especially Indian look like.

That initial “wow” element was only made better as I was able to select, order and pay for a book all in a matter of 5-10 minutes- which is such a relief. But I guess the best part was I was sent emails immediately afterwards, and kept in the loop till I received my book. The books were especially well packed, and had a delightful bookmark. It immediately appealed to the “I love old books” person in me. Infact, looking at the way the book was sent, I decided my next “give” event, was also going to be through lebooks. I sent in a birthday gift to a friend who’s into books and notes just like me, and once she got the book, I got the loveliest message back. It was a great feeling, I say, oh and blah and blah.

But of course, I also have some recommendations for them- one to increase the books they stock- I have sometimes not found the book I was looking for. And if possible, stock videos too? I find myself itching for some videos and there is no decent place to get them.

You could tell me to get off my backside and go enter a “real” shop, hey but on an everyday basis, cravings for books and the written word happen within office hours, and if I were to have the energy to fight Delhi traffic and then go shop, I’d be superwoman (not that I act like one already ). The convenience of a one stop shop off the net is unparalleled especially when they are good people who write to you diligently, and have all the attention for details.

Oh and if word of mouth publicity does any good, then I strongly recommend this site.

Heroes season 3 is set to be aired in the last quarter of 2008. Fans like myself are all eagerly waiting and yearning for the release of this incredible TV serial. Of course it will be great to be able to enjoy it when the time comes at the comfort of your home, but what if you are overseas or for some reason not at home but still want to catch the action? You can watch Heroes Season 3 on your laptop or computer anywhere with an internet connection.

Part of Heroes season 3, Villains, was originally planned to be in season 2 but had to be taken out due to writer’s strike. Villains feature Sylar who regained his power at the end of season 2 after being suppressed by the Shanti virus throughout season 2. Tim Kring, the executive producer revealed that season 3 will bring a selection of villains to the show.

Caution: Spoilers in the next paragraph, skip it if you do not want to see.

Spoiler information about Heroes Season 3:

1. Kristen Bell (Elle Bishop), David Anders (Adam Monroe/Takezo Kensei), Adrian Pasdar (Nathan Petrelli) and Ali Larter (Niki Sanders) will be back.

2. Angela Petrelli moves into a powerful role at The Company.

3. Knox is featured as a new villain who has preternatural speed and he was shown ripping out the heart out a cop with his ability.

4. There is a scene where all the major Heroes are assassinated with Peter in a pool of blood, Hiro pinned to the wall by his own sword and Parkman’s throat cut open.

In order to catch all these actions anywhere you want, you need a laptop and an internet connection, be it wired, wireless or using 3G connection. You will also need satellite tv software. This software enables you to watch live satellite channels anywhere with an internet connection. The best thing about it is that there is no monthly subscription fee, users merely pay a one-time fee of less than $50 and are entitled to use the service for life.

If you’ve been looking into collagen treatments or Botox to help reduce the fine lines that ar

If you’ve been looking into collagen treatments or Botox to help reduce the fine lines that are appearing near your eyes or lips, there’s another treatment that is providing positive results.

Restylane was approved by the FDA in December 2003, and has since been used in more than 1.5 million treatments worldwide. Restylane is a cosmetic dermal filler made of a crystal clear gel called Non-Animal Stabilized Hyaluronic Acid, or NASHA. Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance that already exists in the human body, and can be used to provide volume to the skin.

How does Restylane work?
Restylane is applied in a similar manner to other non-surgical cosmetic procedures, and is injected into the area of choice. When it is injected into the lip, wrinkle or fold, it works together with the body’s own hyaluronic acid, and joins forces to create volume, giving a more youthful and healthy appearance.

What type of results can I expect?
Just like other forms of injectables, Restylane will have an immediate affect. It also has long-term temporary results, and can last anywhere from 6 to 12 months. The results will vary, depending on your lifestyle, age, and skin factors.

What are the side effects?
One of the reasons Restylane is growing in popularity is because of its safety. Since hyaluronic acid is naturally present in the body, the skin and body do no react to the material. In fact, very few reactions have occurred in people electing this product. The reported reactions do include temporary redness, bruising, swelling, itching or tenderness, and may last anywhere from a few days to a couple of weeks. This makes Restylane very appealing and a convenient solution for reducing fine lines and wrinkles that appear on the face and neck.

What is the recovery time?
Restylane injections can be administered anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour or more, depending on how many areas will be injected. Immediately after the treatment you may experience slight swelling, tenderness or redness, but you should easily be able to return to your normal routine.

As a precaution, you should also avoid alcohol and exercise for six to ten hours following the procedure, and avoid sunbathing or cold weather activities until all redness and swelling disappears.

What do I need to do before a Restylane treatment?
The best part of this procedure is it requires no pre-testing. Because hyaluronic acid is present in the human body, there is no need for skin tests to determine allergic reactions.

Who is the ideal candidate for Restylane treatment?
Restylane is most effective in correcting wrinkles and folds around the nose, lips, eyes and cheeks. It also provides natural fullness to the lips when used for lip augmentation. The ideal candidate is a person who is looking for minor correction, and is aware that periodic treatments are required to retain the necessary results.

Will this be you? Even right here in our own city of Portland, attending a funeral and wondering just what the hell happened to people you loved and cared about? Will the situation make you decide to give up your Constitutional Rights to the very people who are responsible for all this “Diversity” mess to begin with? Those who really could care less about you– the white Goyim? Will you roll over, just take it and then give up your last rights in this country?

December 12, Boca Raton, Florida: 47 year old Nancy Bochiccio and her 8 year daughter, Joey, decided to go to the mall one day and do a little Christmas shopping. Who knew what would lay in wait for them?

It was negro David Goodman, who was there. And it appears a second negro was also involved, as well. They just up and decided to rob them. But that wasn’t enough for them to do. Unh, uh. After binding them up, inside the trunk of their own car, they just went and shot them to death, right then and there. It would’ve been just like that, point the gun at the two innocent whites –undoubtedly scared out of their wits– and squeeze off the shots. They were nothing but some more whiteys. That little 8 year old girl meant diddly-squat to them.

Now, the media these days pretty much ignores stuff like this. Unless, of course, if the perp was white. We all know this. And the liberals go on ignoring such murders, right along with the media. They’re more concerned about Africans in the Sudan killing each other than white people in the US being killed by violent Blacks, for chrissakes. It’s not PC to even talk about it, so they amuse themselves about Black-on-Black crime in faraway places.

Hollywood celebrities, like George Clooney, spend their time preaching to us about the horrors of Dafur and wanting you to contribute your hard-earned money and become involved in their little causes; but if you happen to end up in a trunk with some negro standing over you, firing off 9mm bullets into your body, well, that’s just too frigging bad, now isn’t it? They really don’t care one bit about any regular white person –those very same people that made them stars in the first dam place!

It’s the blacks or “people of color” that concerns these liberals only. It’s all been a part of Jewish race brainwashing over the last 40 years or so, what they call “Tikkun Olam,” or, as they arrogantly describe it; repairing the world. What it really means is that he’s disassembling the world for them, the ”Chosen Ones,” by basically trashing everything about the Goyim. And then he has the unmitigated gall to go and describe it all as repairing! It’s all a bunch of Jew “Kabbalah” hocus-pocus, an ideology that they try to pass off to each other and you, as being so intellectually wise and benevolent for the rest of the world, but unnecessary for Israel. Now, what’s that tell you?

All hail those smarter-than-us Jews!

Negro monster David Goodman and his victims, horribly shot to death in the trunk of their very own car. The victims probably looked up at him in much the same way –with him looking down at them, like so. He could care less about any of it, since the State, meaning you tax payers, will now pay for his zoo upkeep the rest of his rotten life.

But all those white Hollywood Elites, the liberals and big-mouthed Jews may say something about guns. That’s the “PC” safe zone. If guns weren’t involved in the crime, then poverty and racism (it’s the whites, as usual) would be trotted out as the cause. After all, one can slit a throat with a knife just as quickly as shooting helpless people. So they’ll never allow the sacrosanct Jew theories about ”Diversity” to ever be at fault. The media knows all this, too. Doing reports on such crimes will make people question the diversity bull and they just can’t have that. The PC police will be right there with the racisim gambit to silence anyone.

But, sooner or later, the media will indeed blitz us with stories like this. When it’s time. “Hush” crimes will no longer be so hushed. When they’re ready for that final assault on America’s Constitution and on us white people. Because it’s not violent Negroes, like this Goodman, who they’re really after.

We all know where this is going, when you think about it: Gun control. They’ll use things like this and school shootings as an excuse to disarm all of the white population. But that’s all it’ll accomplish. Law-abiding whites will turn over their guns and the criminals will continue on with what guns they can get their hands on or knives or whatever. Knowing Negroes, it’ll probably be machetes. Read up on the history of Haiti some time and the thousands of whites they butchered during the time of Toussant L’Overture. Hell, they still use them in Africa, to this day, when they want to save on white manufactured bullets or their AK-47’s rust out.

By then, it’ll be back to ignoring the blacks committing such foul deeds on whites. Because it’s really not the crimes against whites that’s so important to them that much; but the disarming of the one potential enemy to the very same people who’ve pushed all of this “diversity” crap on us to begin with. That’s right, you heard me: The real problem is with those liberals and all the Jew social engineers behind it, who expect us to put up with all of these spoiled and violent blacks.

Talking in bed ought to be easiest,
Lying together there goes back so far,
An emblem of two people being honest.

Yet more and more time passes silently.
Outside, the wind’s incomplete unrest
Builds and disperses clouds about the sky,

And dark towns heap up on the horizon.
None of this cares for us. Nothing shows why
At this unique distance from isolation

It becomes still more difficult to find
Words at once true and kind,
Or not untrue and not unkind.

Today officially marks the end of the first month of my big motorcycle trip. I need a parental warn

Today officially marks the end of the first month of my big motorcycle trip. I need a parental warning here …

********************Not suitable for all audiences ***************

The first month has only had about 7 or so heart attacks. (Slipping tires, buses halfway into my lane, taking curves too fast and straying into the oncoming lane on blind curves, etc.) Most of them have been in the past week. Sigh. But the easy part is over. The next month is Chiapas, Guatemala, and Honduras. If I make it through this part intact, then I’m pretty much done with the scary stuff.

On a completely unrelated note. One of the things that people ask me most often is “Don’t you get lonely?” I always answer no. It’s NOT always the truth, but it’s the only possible answer. This morning was a good example of why I have to answer that way. I did wake up pretty lonely this morning. It felt like it might be time to start settling down. I’m not sure what brought it on, but it was one of the stronger times that I’ve felt that way. I lingered in bed thinking about it, until I decided that I just wasn’t getting back to sleep, so I got up, and headed out to breakfast without bothering to shower. (Comments about the correlation between the lack of a shower and waking up alone are too easy. If you’re going to be snarky, at least put some effort into it!)

I sat down in the corner of a little cafe and ordered breakfast. Just after I ordered, a couple walked in. The girl was a brunette, but still obviously not a native Spanish speaker. (That doesn’t mean she’s American, but if she wasn’t then she was Canadian for sure.) The guy might not have been a Mexican but he WAS a native spanish speaker for sure. I could tell by their body language that they were in a pretty new relationship (and neither of them had bothered to shower either, so there!) They sat pretty stiffly, and made sure that conversation never lagged. At one point she leaned in for a kiss and was denied … not maliciously, but because the guy was clueless that she was after one. Stuff like that.

So I thought it was odd when she made eye contact. After that, she said something to her partner about me, and he looked over, and looked away when I glanced at him. Who knows what the comment was. But she kept looking at me throughout breakfast. Sigh.

It cured my loneliness. Seriously. The effort of maintaining relationships isn’t for me. I can’t handle that part where you know that you like someone, but you aren’t really sure you want to be around her right now. Perhaps not all relationships hit that stage. But if there is one that hasn’t I’d really like to hear about it. As far as I can tell, everyone hits a point in every relationship where they need a break. And that’s the part that makes me think I’m better off single.

So. In reality, I have moments where I DO feel lonely. They usually last about an hour before something snaps me out of it. I feel like I’m being honest when I say that no, I don’t get lonely.

This is the first time I’ve ever been travelling with an Ipod. While I DO love having it (it makes ignoring aggressive street vendors a TON easier!) there are a couple of icky things. Like when you walk into a cathedral and Linkin Park is playing. Which ALWAYS seems to be the band on when I stop at a church. Unless it’s James Brown which is about the only thing worse. I still go in, but I’ve got a look on my face like I’m carrying a Playboy under my shirt as I do it. Sigh.

On a similar but brighter note, when you go to the Anthropology museum in Mexico City and descend to the downstairs tomb exhibits, Oingo Boingo is EXCELLENTLY appropriate accompaniment.
