Die SNES Ära war meine Zeit, ich war noch viel zu jung, Lesen konnte ich noch nicht, aber spielen, das war ohne Weiteres möglich. Was hat ein Kind ohne Lesekenntnisse dann wohl zum Spielen bewegt? Zum einen muss ich sagen, dass damals die (guten) Spiele nahezu perfekt designte 2D-Spiele waren. Zum Anderen hat hier die Musik sehr unterstützende Arbeit geleistet. Man könnte fast sagen, die Themes, die damals begeistert haben, wären heute im orchestralen Format bei weitem nicht so gut.

Weil meine Äuphorie zu 16-Bit Musik der SNES Ära so groß ist und ich bei jedem Theme das ich höre, Gänsehaut bekommen, liste ich einfach mal ein paar Songs mit den zugehörigen Spielen auf. Vielelicht wird der ein oder andere ja auch Erinnerungen an seine ersten Spieleerfahrungen bekommen.

Terranigma

Terranigma ist merkwürdigerweise nach wie vor mein Lieblingsspiel aller Zeiten. Obwohl die Spielmechanik mittlerweile nicht mehr ganz zeitgerecht ist, will ich den Titel nicht von Platz 1 stoßen. Auch musikalisch hat Terranigma vor allem für die GBA Generation vorgelegt. Die wunderschönen Midimelodien sind nach wie vor unabdingbar und geben dem nahezu perfekten Rollenspiel Action/Adventure noch den letzten Kick. Schon wenn der Titelbildschirm erscheint und das Main Theme startet sitz ich erst einmal etwas vor dem Bildschirm und höre zu. Das ist heute nicht anders wie damals.

Als Theme herausgesucht hab ich allerdings das Theme of Zue, dass nach dem gleichnamigen Dschungellevel benannt wurde. Der Magic Moment in diesem Level, man veränderte interaktiv die Vegitation und konnte so auch einzelne Wege frei werden lassen, alles in Form eines gigantischen Levels. Ohne das Theme wäre der Level nur halb so gut, deswegen hier für euch, das Theme of Zue:

Super Mario World

Wer das perfekte Jump and Run sucht, der sollte sich einmal Super Mario World anschauen. Damals war vor allem das originelle Leveldesign ein gigantischer Pluspunkt. Man konnte von einem Level durch geheime Ausgänge teilweise neue Level und damit andere Wege freischalten. Auch dieser Titel macht nur so viel Spaß, weil ein perfekter Soundtrack ihn unterbindet. Hier einmal ein paar Themes von Super Mario World:

Super Metroid

Schon der erste und zweite Teil des Sci-Fi Action Adventures Metroid sorgten durch die unheimlich gruselige Musik für eine authentische und gruselige Stimmung. Teilweise hat man durch die Musik auch Angst vor einzelnen Passagen bekommen. Doch Super Metroid setzt dem Ganzen noch eins drauf und schafft das perfekte Adventure Spielerlebnis. Noch heute träume ich davon, dass irgendwann ein Metroid mit so genialer Musik, so tollem, schlüssigen Leveldesign und einer so perfekten Spielmechanik daherkommt, wie Super Metroid es hatte. Zwar kommen die 3D Teile bis jetzt nahe an das heran, aber übertrumpft wurde dieser Titel noch in keinem Punkt. Hoffnung liegt aber in dem möglicherweise erscheinden Metroid Dread. Deswegen für euch eines der atmosphärischsten Themes: Ambient Silence

Secret of Mana

Ursprünglich für den CD Aufsatz des Super Nintendo’s gedacht, war Secret of Mana eines der größten und auch besten

Spiele auf dem SNES. Die gigantisch-große Spielwelt, die wunderschöne Grafik, die mit Liebe zu Detail kreiert wurde, der sagenhafte Soundtrack. Auch Multiplayertechnisch ein Titel, der gezeigt hat, wie ein Koop Modus aussehen muss. Man konnte nämlich zu dritt spielen.

Als Theme habe ich mir hier Did you See the Ocean ausgesucht, weil hier am besten zum Ausdruck kommt, was der damalige Entwickler Square sich bei diesem Spiel tolles ausgedacht hatte. Kleiner Anhang zuvor: Alle Nachfolger konnten dem Erfolg und der Qualität von Secret of Mana nicht mehr trotzen.

Contra 3/ Super Probotector

Ein actiongeladenes Run and Gun, dass mit einem hohen Schwierigkeitsgrad, toller Grafik, wahnsinnig guten Explosionen und einem tollen Soundtrack sowie Koop-Modus daherkam.

Als Musikstück hab ich ein Theme ausgesucht, dass mir sehr gut gefällt. Die Rede ist von dem Boss Theme (Invasion):

Wir wissen zwar, dass noch viele andere Titel einen tollen Soundtrack haben, allerdings können wir nicht jeden SNES Titel mit einbeziehen, weil der Artikel ja noch zu lesen sein soll. Jetzt die Frage an euch, welches Spiel mit zugehöriger Musik gefällt euch von der SNES Zeit am besten, was hat euch damals am meisten bewegt? Jung Yunho, Go Ara, Lee Sangyoon, Lee Yoonji and all staff members of MBC’s drama “Heading to the Ground” kept fighting until the end of the drama, and held a farewell party. “Heading to the Ground” has been tagged as a good sports-related drama series which is also fresh and warm. On the afternoon of the 5th of November, all crew members and actors held a farewell party and everyone said, “We did not worry much about the ratings; instead, we were happy during the whole filming period.” They watched the last episode together, with bittersweet feelings.

Jung Yunho (Cha Bonggun), Go Ara (Kang Haebin), Lee Sangyoon (Jang Seungwoo) and Lee Yoonji (Oh Yeonyi) took a photo with everyone, and at the same time, expressed their gratitude.

Yunho laughed and said, “That would probably be the most autographs I have signed, after my last screenshot.” While signing, he also gave everyone a CD as a gift of gratitude, which resulted in him being labeled as ‘The Gentleman Yunho.’

At the same time, Go Ara went around, showing her gratitude by giving everyone, who had treated her as family throughout the filming period, a hug and she cried uncontrollably because she could not bear to part with them. Yunho wiped Ara’s tears away and promised, “Each one of us will meet again in a better drama.”

Like the Cha Bonggun who went through all obstacles in life, the whole crew of “Heading to the Ground” did their very best from the start until the very last second, creating a warm and happy atmosphere.

Nothing like a sturdy brown bag to complete the shopping experience!

On Saturday, I visited new Richmond entrant Thomas Dux Grocer after much anticipation. In July this year, watchdog ACCC gave Woolsworth the thumbs up to acquire the haemorrhaging Macro-Wholefoods- and a swift rebranding resulted in Macro being converted to Woolsworth’s “upmarket grocery subsidiary”, Thomas Dux Grocer.

I have to admit, I am still saddened by Macro’s departure from the industry. Starting out in Bondi Junction in 1987, its sustainable (not so in hindsight?) home brand was my priority choice in groceries. I could only hope that its replacement was worthy of its cause.

But who is Thomas Dux? Would Pierce Cody, Macro founder and joint owner, approve of the latest transformation of his upmarket organic dream? That remains to be seen.

Walking into Thomas Dux, I was lambasted by a singing trio dressed as jesters or halfway clowns. Surely there are other ways to woo and wonder? I shudder away my irrational fear of clowns and focused instead on the promisingly lighted lanes brimming with goodness.

A punnet of blueberries: $2.99. Sweet smelling strawberries: $1.98. A fancy feast at rock bottom prices? Things are loooooooking up!

There was a cheery area set up to the left after the organic cereals where you could make yourself fresh coffee in support of Hawthorn girl guides. Just remember to drop your gold coin donation into the  spotted pig. This is a great example of think global, go local. Support the community, and the community will support you.

Largely, the new kid has all the bases covered…. almost. Loafs of designer bread: check. Unpolished organic apples: check. Hand crafted fresh pasta: check. Artisan oils: check. Pet food, toiletries and frozen produce choices were a let down, but I am hoping it will improve within the next few weeks as the new store gains momentum.

With a friendly interface online and in-store as well as competitive prices, Thomas Dux is one cad out to get the hearts and wallets of Melburnians.

Hey everyone, it’s finally decided, the name of the fansub-(group).  I took my time deciding it, after all I don’t want to share a fansub with another group. However there are sites which may have the same name I guess there is no helping it.

CHA ha mantenido hoy viernes, 23 de octubre de 2009, un encuentro con representantes del Pueblo saharaui para conocer la situación de recrudecimiento de la represión a la que se ven sometidos y las últimas noticias sobre la detención de siete activistas saharauis defensores de los Derechos Humanos.

Nieves Ibeas ha destacado que “CHA siempre ha defendido el derecho del pueblo saharui a decidir libremente su futuro y ha condenado la represión que sufre a manos de Marruecos que ocupa ilegalmente su territorio. La situación se ha agravado con la detención injustificada de siete activistas saharaui que Marruecos pretende juzgar ante un tribunal militar y que podrían ser condenados a pena de muerte”.

Y ha añadido que “el Delegado del Frente Polisario ha solicitado a CHA su apoyo en la lucha por la defensa de los derechos del pueblo saharaui”.

En la cita han estado presentes la Presidenta de CHA, Nieves Ibeas, y el Delegado del Frente Polisario en España, Bucharaya Hamudi Sidina. También han estado el Delegado saharaui para Aragón, Cheybani Abbas, el Secretario de Um Draiga, Rafel Antorrena Pardo y Enrique Gómez, Vicepresidente de Um Draiga-Amigos del Pueblo Saharaui en Aragón. Por parte de CHA estará también el Vicesecretario General de CHA, José Luis Soro; el Secretario de Organización, Juan Campos; el Diputado de CHA, Bizén Fuster y el coordinador del Rolde de Solidaridad, Antonio García.

Visita a la DPZ

José Antonio Acero, vicepresidente de DPZ, también se ha reunido en la mañana de hoy con los representantes del pueblo saharaui para analizar la situación de represión que se está viviendo en el Sahara ocupado por Marruecos.

En este sentido Acero ha mostrado su apoyo y solidaridad, recordando que Diputación, desde Cooperación al Desarrollo, viene colaborando de forma activa con Um Draiga en proyectos de ayuda a los territorios ocupados.
