Sonakshi Sinha is daughter of Shatrughan Sinha. She has started her career as model and appeared in ramp shows. Especially she was noticed by Bollywood audience and movies makers with Lakme Fashion Week 2008. Once again she has appeared in Lakme Fashion Week in 2009.

Bheja Fry is an out and out  Bollywood comedy entertainer. This is remake of a French movie Le Diner De Cons. Director Sagar Ballary has directed this comedy venture.  Sarika played the female lead in this movie.

Soch is a Bollywood movie it was released in 2002. Sushen Bhatnagar has directed this romantic thriller. It was remake for Alfred Hitchcock’s Strangers In The Train. Movie was not a success at the Box Office.

Woodstock Villa (2008) is a Bollywood movie directed by Hansal Mehta. Neha Oberoi, Arbaaz Khan and Sikandar Kher were played the lead roles. It was a drama revolves around a murder.

Sameer (Sikandar Kher) is poor guy, who hasn’t paid his house rent from last three months. He has to pay huge money to bhai (Gulshan Grover). One day this guy meets a beautiful girl Zara (Neha Oberoi). She comes close to him in the first meet only. She is married lady wants to test her husband Jatin (Arbaaz Khan)’s love on her. Jara asks Sameer to kidnap her and ask her husband to bring 50 lakhs to WoodStock Villa.

Sameer goes to call Jatin. By the time of he return back to Woodstock Villa, Zara is killed. Jatin buries her body in a deep forest and goes to Bangalore. After many days one day, he watches Zara in TV. She is really Zara or any other person, who killed Zara are the doubts in Sameer’s . The remaining story about how he has solved the murder mystery.

Akram Khan (Sunil Shetty) is a police officer, who is appointed to catch three notorious criminals. Ali (Sanjay Kapoor) Abbas (Arbaaz Khan) and Laila (Isha Koppikar). Akram request his, senior officers to release  Rachit (Ajay Devgan). Rachit was assistant to the above three killers. He left the terrorists trio, when they double crosses him.

Rachit accepts to help Akram. Akram, Rachit with the help of a scientist Rahul (Aashish Chaudhary) comes to know that, Ali, Abbas and Laila are planning to destroy Mumbai by spreading virus. To implement their plan, they sets bombs in all the lakes around Mumbai. How Rachit and Akram stops the notorious killers is the remaining story.

The Stone Murders is a Bollywood movie, based on a crime case about a serial killer, who has killed the people sleeping on footpaths by dropping some large stone on their heads. Manish Gupta who has narrated script for Ram Gopal Varma’s movies made his debut as director with this film.

Mumbai police department appoints Inspector Kedar Phadke (Arbaaz Khan) to investigate the serial killer case. On the other hand suspended police officer Sanjay Shelar (Kay Kay Menon) starts investigating this case. He want to return to police department by catching the killer.

Sanjay wonders in the roads every day to catch the killer. His wife Manali (Rukshar) thinks that, he has an affair with other woman. Sanjay comes very close to Stoneman’s actions. Kedar suspects Sanjay as killer.

Stoneman visits Sanjay’s house to kill him. Sanjay notices this and asks his wife to leave that place. How Sanjay solved the case and got his job back  is the remaining story.

Vikram Gokhale and Virendra Saxena were played two important roles in this movie.

Bachelor Party is comedy flick from  Ishaan Trivedi. He has directed Irrfan Khan and Juhi Chawla starred 7 1/2 Phere before. Jimmy Shergill and Nauheed Cyrusi played key roles in this movie.

This movie is going to release on September 4th 2009. No other big movies are there to give tough competition to this movie. Madhrui Bhattacharya and Arbaaz Khan are other cast for this movie.

Director has n’t yet revelead any thing about this movie. He maintained very profile in publicity also.

I feel downright bad for Dia and Nauheed, who attended the ‘Kisaan’ premiere in some Indian finery. Can’t say the same for their costars Jackie, Sohail and Arbaaz, who look downright scruffy and dirty.

this weekend saw release of half a dozen movies. sadly, all are trashy and i am not interested in any of them. will probably just wait for dvd release and watch it a year later; if i remember by then. anyways, let me start by talking about each of them:

kissan: any movie that has sohail khan and arbaaz khan must be totally avoided, is my dictum. they both just cash in on sallu bhai’s name and make trash stuff. add to this, director puneet sira who is trying so hard to get rid of the ‘issar’ surname. the same puneet issar of ‘duryodhan’ fame in br chopra’s mahabharat. this is his 2nd directorial venture, previous one being ‘i, proud to be indian’. this movie is a rehash of manoj kumar’s ‘upkar’. but while upkar was honest and benovelent, this movie isn’t anything close to the original. read this

Now the Singh family are Punjabis, but their accent is terrible. The director should have cast actors who were more fluent with the language, or at least, learnt it better. Arbaaz does a terrible job in the film. Jackie makes an visible effort but lands up being too dramatic. Dia and Nauheed are just props, adding some romance to the scenes

daddy cool: this movie is copied/inspired by the english comedy film called ‘death at a funeral’. another movie from the makers of masti and dhamaal. i did not like either of the two movies, but i did feel that dhamaal was a better effort than masti. i am not sure if this movie will deliver, if reviews are anything to go by. read this

If you do find yourself laughing on a few occasions, it’s mostly out of disbelief at just how shockingly bad this film turns out to be. The acting is an assembly line of over-the-top, ham jobs from a cast that is possibly the most ineffective you’ve ever seen.

love khichdi: another dud of a movie by randeep hooda. his choice of movies is aweful, don’t know why. this star studded movie boasts of a nice starcast, but fails to ignite any flames.

But the weakest link in this whole enterprise is our leading man, completely miscast in this role. He tries to be funny but falls terribly short. He doesn’t even look like the 26-year-old character that he’s playing. He looks much older.

quick-gun murugun: finally, a movie that seems to be the pick of the week. it has received good reviews from all quarters. the only drawback seems to be the fact that a spoof of a character does not withstand the time stretch, it should have been much shorter.

Good spoofs are hard to come by, but director Shashanka Ghosh’s Quick Gun Murugun is a rare exception. Based on the iconic Channel [V] character created in the mid-nineties by Ghosh himself and writer Rajesh Devraj, the Tamilian cowboy in bright orange pants has now crossed over to the big screen for a full-length feature.

Bollywood actor Salman Khan is yet again donning the character of a hardcore gangster, a sharpshooter and works for a dreaded Mafia in his soon to release film Wanted. He then finds love when the young and pretty Jhanvi, played by Ayesha Takia Azmi, professes her love for him.

His fingers are crossed for success of upcoming film Wanted. Produced by Boney Kapoor and directed by Prabhu Deva, the film features Ayesha Takia Azmi opposite Salman Khan alongwith supporting cast of Mahesh Manjrekar and Asseem Merchant. Professes Salman, “I have done lot of love stories, lot of comedies, many of them were not appreciated enough. In this film, I had the zest to work hard. I have done that. So, let’s see if it works and if it doesn’t”.

Khan said the film is a combination of all the ingredients of a typical masala bollywood film in good quantity. Salman has trained hard to undergo good deal of training for it.Hope to see some real good bikes, action and all such stuff. What about seeing some new bikes too like Mahindra Flyte in the film.
“Our films are usually a combination of all things in small proportions. Little bit dance, little bit romance and little bit comedy. But this film has everything in huge proportions, so had to train hard,” said Khan.

Khan has also lent his voice to the title track of the film, composed by composer duo Sajid-Wajid. He had last sung for the film Pyaar Kiya to Darna Kya in 1998 that also starred Kajol and his bro Arbaaz Khan.
