Talk by Dominic Habsuburg about the castle and his childhood.

Dominic Habsburg spent his childhood in Bran Castle as the Grandson of Queen Marie and son of Prince Ileana of Romania and Archduke Anton of Austria. The family fled Romania in 1948 when the communists took over. In 2009 Bran Castle was restored to Queen Marie’s grandchildren and it is now a premier tourist attraction in Romania and known as Dracula’s Castle.

Dominic Habsburg earned a degree from the Rhode Island School of Design and has had a distinguished international career. He lives in North Salem and is the author of A Frog’s Tale, a fairytale for adults told in three media, visual art, poetry, and prose.
