They do well against the competition and are often compared to costlier brands, for example the Zojirushi rice cooker.  Amazingly, it is lower priced, but performs just as well as it rival, and is preferred by many of us who have used both.  </p>
<p> The scent ARC-998 is an eight cup rice maker that excels.  Not only is it super easy to use, and able to prepare a range of dishes like soups, stews and steamed veggies, but the smell rice cooker manual even has recipes for a wide selection of dishes that you may not have thought were possible.  Don&#8217;t confuse an Aroma Rice Cooker with normal kitchen appliances that can perform only a single task, because these machines make cooking every type of meals simpler and less complicated.  </p>
<p> Another item that is sometimes feted in rice cooker reviews, and one that is equal to the Zojirushi rice cookers, is the removable cooking pot, much more simpler to clean because of its non-stick surface.  On the outside a smell ARC-998 is covered with stylish brushed chrome steel and black trim, giving accent to your kitchen without being imposing. We have miniature horses, an adorable dog, cat and 2 silkie chickens and our latest edition 5 big chooks, whom are laying almost every day. you cannot beat  your own chickens eggs, they are so yummy &#38; of course their diet will have an impact on the quality.</p>
<p>I find that our horses respond very well to alternate medicines. I have personally treated our horses for wounds, punctures, agitation( when they moved from the city to the country), ticks, and colds.  Horses are easy to work with as they will soon let you know there likes and dislikes when working with essentials oils .</p>
<p>Because many essential oils have the same therapeutic properties we will always have a few to choose from when treating specific condition&#8217;s.</p>
<p>One of my horses at a young age developed warts on his nose! Poor darling when one first appeared I thought it was a tick and tried to pull it out! you can imagine the response I received. Well once he had forgiven me which didn&#8217;t take to long I was able to apply tea tree directly on to the wart. I applied tea tree a couple of times a day and approximately 2 weeks later they were gone.</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class='snap_preview'><p style="text-align:justify;">En la angosta carretera que une El Estanquillo con La Trampa, viniendo de Lagunillas, me detuve frente a la casa de la señora Marta, conocida amiga de mi madre, quien es tejedora de esteras y hábil creadora de manualidades. Allí paré el vehículo para llamar por celular a Irma y preguntarle si tenía apios. Contestó Mariángel diciéndome que su mamá estaba para Guaraque, pero que allí se encontraba Ernesto, que él me podía informar sobre los apios. Luego de un mutuo saludo le pregunté si tenía arracachas (apios). Me contestó que sí, pero “<em>pa más tarde se los tengo, porque voy a dir a buscarlos</em>” Le dije que estaba bien, que luego iría por ellos. Hablando aún por teléfono sentí un fuerte y agradable olor a cilantro…  Entonces, me dije: </p>

No debe secarse ni congelarse porque pierde el aroma.</p></div>
<p style="text-align:justify;">¡Ah! Esta es una de las cosas por las que amo el campo, porque me brinda la oportunidad de olfatear la frescura y el aroma de las hortalizas recién cortadas. Estando en esa conversación conmigo, vi como iban saliendo  un burro y, detrás de él, cuatro jóvenes. El camino termina allí, al lado de la casa de la señora Marta.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">¡Mi nariz no se equivocó! El burro traía tres cestas atestadas de cilantro desde una pequeña finca ubicada en el sector El Guamal. Los jóvenes, todos de la familia Rodríguez, me informaron que el cilantro iría al mercado de Lagunillas porque se lo habían vendido a un señor;  que su finquita, ubicada en lo más profundo del zanjón, producía tomate, pimentón, lechuga y papa. Luego de la toma de la foto y del respectivo saludo de despedida, compré una ramita y continué mi viaje a La Trampa llevando el aroma de una de las verduras que más enriquece el sabor de la crema de apios.</p>

Il aide bien et pour l&#8217;instant m&#8217;a pas mal servi. C&#8217;est le genre de baume que je garde à portée de main, pour décongestionner ou pour un massage aromatique.</p>

<p>L’analisi organolettica, o sensoriale, del vino consente di esprimere giudizi in merito a qualità, grado di invecchiamento, livello di maturazione raggiunto dalle uve utilizzate, standard di piacevolezza, nonché a individuarne alcune componenti. Inoltre, definite le caratteristiche del prodotto, si possono stabilire gli abbinamenti più felici con i cibi. Si effettua in tre fasi distinte, nelle quali si utilizzano rispettivamente gli occhi, il naso e la bocca.</p>

<p>È la più immediata; avviene, in pratica, attraverso gli stimoli che l’occhio riceve dalle onde luminose e dai colori. Osservando il vino si verifica la limpidezza; se è torbido, anche il colore risulta falsato e quindi le sfumature cromatiche sono più difficili da individuare. Spesso l’intorbidamento può essere causato da semplici sedimenti che, dopo un periodo di decantazione, precipitano lasciando il vino di nuovo chiaro. Va inoltre detto che il vino rosso non è mai nettamente “pulito” e per questo motivo, durante la valutazione, la limpidezza non viene considerata come un elemento di fondamentale importanza.<br />
Altri parametri da valutare sono la trasparenza, l’intensità e le sfumature. Il vino è trasparente se interposto a un giornale non ne impedisce la lettura; nel caso contrario si tratta di un vino opaco. Ma attenzione! Trasparenza e limpidezza non sono sinonimi. Un vino, infatti, può essere limpido, ossia scevro di qualsiasi componente che lo intorbidisce, ma privo di trasparenza. Questa qualità dipende in buona misura dalle uve: se sono molto colorate il vino risulterà opaco. L’intensità del colore è la risultante di numerosi fattori come vitigno, natura del terreno, livello di maturazione dell’uva e così via. Le sfumature, a loro volta, mutano con il variare dell’invecchiamento e subiscono costanti evoluzioni; possono essere violacee, poi color rubino, quindi granata e, quando il vino è lungamente invecchiato, aranciate.<br />
Anche le sostanze coloranti mutano secondo il livello di maturazione del vino; quando è giovane il colore viene fornito dai pigmenti della buccia dell’uva (chiamati dai tecnici “antociani”). Man mano che il vino matura agli antociani si associano degli acidi chiamati tannini e, quando è vecchio, la coloritura è data dalla concentrazione dei tannini.</p>

Since I walk to the office, a luxury in Asia, this matters quite a bit. These days I can enjoy every step on my 20 minutes walk to work.</p>
<p>This walk is also a good training for the nose. Yes, you red right, the nose. You agree with me that the nose is a very important organ for any wine connoisseur. The first thing you do when tasting a wine is swirrling the wine. Your nose trys to catch the fragrances emitted by the liquid. Most of our noses need regular training. Well, let me come back to my walk to the office.</p>
<p>If I could only close my eyes when walking (too dangerous though) it would be even more striking. Taking the nose on a walk in Asia is quite an adventure, one might think. That&#8217;s true. However, my morning walk takes me along two busy Sois (Thai for street): Thonglor and Ekkamai and Soi 10 which connects the two.</p>

<p><strong>The nose in action</strong></p>
<p>This means that about 80% of the route is boring for my nose, just the fumes of the passing vehicles, some petrol notes maybe, mostly tar and lots of dust. In the evening I have started to wear a mask because it is just too tedious walking along the traffic jam. But that is very different in the mornings (I am an early bird). So the remaining 20% of the way are interesting; half of it pleasant, half of it not so pleasant.</p>
<p>First highlight is the Chinese chicken restaurant with two large pots on the gas stove full of chicken meat bubbling in the water with, I guess, &#8220;Sichuan spices&#8221;. Then I pass by walls and large gardens tucked behind them. During this time of the year not many plants are flowering but still my nose is on high alert sniffing for the scent of jasmin or other blossoms.</p>
<p>Just before I turn around the corner, I greet the &#8220;barbecue&#8221; man, roasting various types of meats, some on skewers, sausages, chicken wings and so on, on his mobile cart as breakfast for the passers-by. Here my nose catches notes of charcoal, burning fat and skin, the smell of freshly cooked meat. </p>
<p>Around the corner is the next highlight, the Chinese noodle shop, warm smells of steam engulf my olfactory organ, freshly hacked herbs add corriander fragrances. One lady sells fresh fruit and vegetables as well as freshly baked sweets for the casual wanderer. If my nose is lucky it can capture a fragrance of tropical notes and the aura of fresh bread.</p>
<p>But before I come to the the dim sum place, usually still closed when I pass by, though the trays under steam, I have to pass three locations where the garbage of night clubs and restaurants is kept on the pavement before it is collected in the morning. Here the nose finds aromas of decomposing organic matter which is a sweet-sour smell. This is sometimes a challenge.</p>
<p>The worst places are those where dogshit, many urbanites keep small dogs as pets, accumulates. The Thais being very tidy people sweep the walkways daily. As a consequence the danger to step into dogshit is not that big. However, the pungent and acrid smell of canine turds is another challenge for my nose. The odour is very strong even if the source of it has long disappeared from the scene.</p>
<p>The last stretch is lined with beauty salons (there are so many), which from time to time let a fargrance of lavender escape from the parlour. An executive &#8220;supercars&#8221; dealer, night clubs (zillions), bus stops and a computer laboratory complete the row of building I have to pass. Finally, comes the dim sum place but only on my way home will my nose be in the position to indulge in the aromas of the fine dumplings.</p>
<p>Nose training, I recommend it. From time to time close your eyes and trust your olfactory organ, and enjoy, as we say in Asia. Cheers folks. I am off to a drink, red wine, I suppose. Have a good weekend and a nice smell.</p>

Jajanan khas Bandung ini mulai jarang terlihat di tempat jajanan goreng-gorengan. Saya akan membagi resepnya untuk kamu-kamu yang mulai susah menemukan gorengan ini. Nikmat disantap bersama keluarga di tengah-tengah musim hujan ini sambil menikmati hangatnya teh atau kopi. Selamat memasak!</p>
<p>Bahan:</p>
<ul>
<li>1/2 kg pisang tanduk</li>
<li>20 lembar kulit lumpia</li>
<li>gula pasir secukupnya</li>
<li>untuk lem : tepung terigu dicampur dengan air</li>
<li>minyak goreng secukupnya</li>
</ul>
<p>Cara Membuat :</p>
<ul>
<li>1 buah pisang ditanduk dibagi menjadi 2 bagian. Lalu masing-masing bagian tersebut dibelah menjadi 4-6 bagian, sisihkan.</li>
<li>Ambil 1 lembar kulit lumpia, taruh pisang tanduk di ujungnya, taburkan gula pasir di atas pisang lalu digulung dan dilem dengan campuran tepung terigu dan air tadi.</li>
<li>Lakukan hingga kulit lumpia habis.</li>
<li>Siapkan wajan, tuang minyak goreng hingga pisang aroma tercelup ke dalamnya.</li>
<li>Goreng hingga berwarna kecoklatan di atas api kecil.</li>
<li>Sajikan hangat.</li>
</ul>
<p>Tips :</p>
<ul>
<li>Saat pisang aroma sudah dibalik, harus terus dipantau agar tidak menjadi gosong.</li>
<li>Jika pisang tanduk yang kamu beli itu kurang manis rasanya, saat menaburkan gula, agak dibanyakkan jumlahnya.</li>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class='snap_preview'><p>Abbiamo gia&#8217; <a href="http://inewyork.wordpress.com/2009/10/17/alla-ricerca-del-caffe-macchiatoparte-1/">detto</a> che molto spesso passiamo la nostra domenica pomeriggio alla ricerca del caffe&#8217; macchiato perfetto (sperare di trovare un caffe&#8217; marocchino, il mio preferito, e&#8217; praticamente impossibile&#8230;), e dobbiamo ammettere che alcune offerte non sono niente male (cioe&#8217; che sono bevibili con tanto tanto zucchero e non ti spaccano lo stomaco in due).<br />
In particolare, siamo degli aficionados di Aroma, una catena che ci hanno detto essere israeliana (e in effetti, andando sul <a href="http://www.aroma.us/">sito</a>, dice proprio essere stata fondata nel 1994 ed essere la catena di espresso di maggiore successo israeliana) e che oltre ad offrire caffe&#8217; decenti, serve panini con il tanto amato Halumi Cheese &#8212; un tipo di formaggio particolare tipico del Medio Oriente che una volta provato non si lascera&#8217; mai piu&#8217;!<br />
La mia prima volta da Aroma (su Houston Street, rigorosamente pronunciato &#8220;Hauston&#8221;) risale a due anni fa, grazie ad una newyorkese DOC, Stacey &#8212; fin da subito sono rimasta folgorata nel vedere tazzine in grandezza naturale (cioe&#8217; adatte per un espresso!) e nell&#8217;assaporare il profumo di caffe&#8217; appena macinato nell&#8217;aria. Da allora appena posso una scappata la faccio, specialmente in questa stagione, dato che oltre ad un ottimo macchiato, Aroma offre una cioccolata calda da leccarsi i baffi: tante praline di cioccolato al latte in fondo alla tazza, poi ricoperte da latte caldo e schiumoso &#8212; una girata di cucchiaio e..voila&#8217;, il gioco e&#8217; fatto! Mica come quelle di Starbucks che sono fatte con acqua calda e cacao in polvere!</p>

<p>Compressa fria usamos para tratar dor de natureza aguda como uma contusão inesperada, uma cãimbra de curta duração, uma dor de cabeça, uma tendinite. Compressa quente usamos para tratar dores de natureza crônica como uma bronquite com falta de ar ou não, um abscesso acompanhado ou não de febre, reumatismo e doenças de pele que perduram por muito tempo, às vezes, meses.</p>
<p><strong>Compressa Fria</strong></p>
<p>Para um litro de água, adicionamos três gotas de óleo essenciais: duas de alecrim e uma de hortelã-pimenta. São óleos excelentes para dores. Podemos usar também três gotas de um só deles. Diminuímos a temperatura da água com alguns cubos de gelo. A compressa é feita mergulhando um pano limpo e macio na água com óleo essencial. Retiramos o excesso d&#8217;água torcendo o pano. Colocamos a compressa em cima da área afetada e a cobrimos com um pano seco de lã ou flanela a fim de diminuir a troca de calor. Isso permite que a compressa se mantenha fria por mais tempo. Quando a compressa atinge a temperatura do corpo, voltamos a umedecê-la</p>
<p><strong>Dosagem</strong>: repita duas até três vezes ao dia</p>
<p><strong>Dicas</strong>: os óleos essenciais são praticamente imiscíveis na água. Por isso, o melhor é colacarmos as três gotas do óleo num pouco de alcool etílico e agitar bem. Após veremos que a mistura se integra totalmente quando adicionada ao litro de água fria.</p>
<p><strong>Compressa Quente</strong></p>
<p>Para um litro de água quente podemos acrescentar de três a cinco gotas de um óleo essencial suave. O processo é o mesmo descrito para a compressa fria, porém com uma importante diferença, além da temperatura, evidentemente: o pano mergulhado na água quente com o óleo essencial e usada como compresa, não é reaproveitado. A razão disso é que a água é um condutor de microorganismos &#8211; justamente o que queremos evitar quando há uma inflamação bacteriana.</p>
<p>Cobrimos a compresssa com um pano seco de lã ou flanela para diminuir a troca de calor e assim permitir que a compressa se mantenha quente por mais tempo. Porém, quando a compressa quente se esfria atingindo a temperatura do corpo, fazemos a troca por outro pano limpo. Podemos usar de dois a dez novos panos para fazer as compressas quentes se houver sinais de abscesso ou infecção.</p>
<p><strong>Dosagem</strong>: repita o processo duas a três vezes a o dia.</p>
<p><strong>Dicas</strong>: podemos melhorar a miscibilidade do óleo esencial diluindo o primiero com um pouco de álcool etilico, em vez de adicioná-lo diretamente na água.</p>

<p><span style="color:#ce9512;">   Se usa en definitiva para proporcionarnos bienestar físico y mental. </span></p>
<h3><span style="color:#993366;">¿Qué es un aceite esencial?</span></h3>
<p><span style="color:#ce9512;">   Es  el líquido que se obtiene al destilar las distintas plantas medicinales. Este líquido puede estar extraído de flores, tallos, frutos o raíces. Sus propiedades químicas son muy variadas: contienen, entre otras cosas, vitaminas y oligoelementos. Un aceite esencial es difícil de imitar en un laboratorio porque la cantidad de sus componentes y sus elementos tan sutiles lo hacen único y le dotan con capacidades que aún la ciencia no puede llegar a analizar, tales como sus aportaciones espirituales (por ejemplo, te puede llegar a ayudar a sentir la paz interior). Tampoco se ha llegado a imitar estas propiedades con exactitud, es por ello que el aceite más puro es el que más beneficios nos proporciona.</span></p>
<h3><span style="color:#ce9512;">   <span style="color:#993366;">Principales componentes químicos que constituyen un aceite esencial y sus propiedades:</span></span></h3>
<p><span style="color:#ce9512;"><span style="color:#993366;"><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Alcoholes</span>:</span> efecto energético, propiedad antivírica, antiséptica y antibactericida.</span></p>
<p><span style="color:#ce9512;"><span style="color:#993366;"><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Aldehidos</span>:</span> propiedad calmante, anti-inflamatoria y principales responsables del olor de la planta.</span></p>
<p><span style="color:#ce9512;"><span style="color:#993366;"><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Esteres</span>:</span> propiedad sedante y antiespasmódica.</span></p>
<p><span style="color:#ce9512;"><span style="color:#993366;"><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Éteres</span>:</span> propiedad estimulante y anti-bacteriana.</span></p>
<p><span style="color:#ce9512;"><span style="text-decoration:underline;"><span style="color:#993366;">Cetonas</span></span>: regularizan fluidos y mucosidades.</span></p>
<p><span style="color:#ce9512;"><span style="text-decoration:underline;"><span style="color:#993366;">Fenoles:</span></span> desinfectante, antivírico, estimulante, limpian heridas, anti-inflamatorio y efecto anestésico.</span></p>
<p><span style="color:#ce9512;"><span style="color:#993366;"><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Hidrocarbonos monoterpenos</span>:</span> propiedad antivírica y parcialmente responsable del olor de la planta.</span></p>
<p><span style="color:#ce9512;"><span style="color:#993366;"><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Hidrocarbonos sesquiterpenos</span>:</span> propiedad anti-inflamatoria, antiespasmódica y estimulante del sistema inmunitario.</span></p>
<p><span style="color:#ce9512;"><span style="text-decoration:underline;"><span style="color:#993366;">Vitaminas</span></span>: A, B, C, D, E, Pp, K.</span></p>
<h3><span style="color:#993366;">Información sobre los aceites esenciales:</span></h3>
<p><span style="color:#ce9512;">   Los aceites esenciales tienen polaridades, como todo lo que nos rodea. Así, los aceites esenciales extraídos del fruto o la flor son de polaridad Yin, mientras que los extraídos de raíces o tallos son Yang.</span></p>
<p><span style="color:#ce9512;">   Un aceite esencial es tan ácido que quema la piel si se expone de manera pura varias veces. También se volatiliza antes de que la piel lo absorva. Por estas dos razones, un aceite esencial debe aplicarse sobre la piel mezclado con un aceite portador. Los portadores, además de tener propiedades terapéuticas, permiten retener a la esencia y que ésta penetre en nuestra piel y pase al torrente sanguíneo. También se mezcla con la esencia en proporciones que hacen que la piel no se queme con su acidez.</span></p>
<p><span style="color:#ce9512;">   Algunos aceites esenciales se toman, otros son tóxicos ante su ingestión. Es por ello que siempre se debe consultar al especialista si puede tomarse o no. Hay gente que ha muerto por haber ingerido, por ejemplo, aceite esencial de eucalipto. </span></p>
<p><span style="color:#ce9512;">   Los aceites esenciales se usan en la piel. Se pueden aplicar con un leve masaje o complementando otras terapias, tales como la reflexología podal, terapia sacro-craneal o masajes relajantes.</span></p>
<p><span style="color:#ce9512;">   Los aceites esenciales se usan en el baño. Te puedes bañar con unas gotas de la esencia que te haya recomendado tu terapeuta. De esta forma las propiedades del aceite se aúnan con la tranquilidad del baño y el momento de relax, lo que crea en la persona una predisposición a sentirse bien, lo que a menudo da resultados sorprendentes con este añadido.</span></p>

Es importante que lo consulteis, aunque conozcais las propiedades del aceite, ya que no sabeis en qué cantidades usarlo, si es lo que más os conviene o no, si se toma o se usa en la piel&#8230; son indicaciones que solo conocen los terapeutas y que son imprescindibles. </span></p>
<h3><span style="color:#993366;">¿Cómo sé qué aceite portador y qué aceite esencial debo utilizar?</span></h3>
<p><span style="color:#ce9512;">   Precisamente para resolver esta duda estamos los terapeutas. Para eso os vamos a tratar, a observar y a preguntar qué quereis y a ver qué os hace falta según lo que sabemos de ustedes. Dependiendo del tipo de piel y del tipo de problema/as que tengais, pues el tratamiento (el aceite esencial y el portador) será uno u otro. Cada terapeuta puede crear un aceite esencial único, diseñado exclusivamnete para ti. Lamin puede pasarte una consulta de aromaterapia.</span></p>

The site allows the wine to be browsed by region, food pairing or varietal and as well as searching by keyword. The interface is based on a playful animation that displays the various aroma’s in each wine. What that means is that users of all levels of wine knowledge can explore and discover new wines – a really useful and accessible way of expanding the repertoire of new drinkers.</p>
<p>A spin-off from the Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design, the site is neatly rounded off with an online store to buy your newly discovered bouquet straight off the site through linking several German wine merchants in one interface.</p>
<p>Still only available in German and in need of a polish, it’s a smart idea that’s waiting to be bought and leveraged.</p>
