I went (the second time) last Sunday to this open air photography exhibition called “Volti di una nuova Milano“. I love it! It’s about a new multicultural face of Milan. I’m so fascinated by the new Europe filled with the nations from all over the globe. :::::You can go to see the images on: http://blog.migrart.it/ 

Everyone talks about bank crises. An artist called Alberto Barazzutti did commented on that in his piece “il crollo delle borse” which he exhibits in the city with a group who want to take/make art outside of galleries. they have a website: http://www.containerart.org/eng/ I’m liking the stuff these guys do but I am not still sure if I should care about the financial crises or not…

Time has gone so fast! The outreach team left for Sicily this afternoon. We had a great time; lots of team time and prayer as well as visiting different churches and helping out at with practicalities in starting an operation location (communications etc.). I’m so happy to join the team on Wednesday in Sicily. This is another a great change for me to learn…        Oh ye, and the Christmas is coming! I kind of wish I would come back here right after Christmas, but on the other hand I’m looking forward to new things that God has in store for me to teach in Australia. I still need the visa sorted though.

Is it just me or are any of you OCD mothers out there obsessed with Tupperware too? It started off as just as a way to get my mind off of shopping for clothes which tend to be more expensive then Tupperware, but then the freakishly neat side of me kicked in and the obsession was born. How can anyone resist those little blue spice containers lined up on the shelf like good little solders? I even store my dog’s food in a Tupperware container! I know, it’s sad, but if she can wear a polo shirt, she can eat out of Tupperware too. So if you need a Tupperware quick fix, call my friend Shalvy (a Tupperware consultant in Modiin) at 054-423-1119 and she’ll send you a catalogue.

Volia parlar del Chanel Mobil Art per diverses raons.Per una banda tenim que el Chanel Mobil Art és una exposició itinerant que mostra les obres de 20 artistes contemporanis, on totes les peces estan inspirades en els icònics bolsos de Chanel.

L’exposició ha començat a Hong Kong el 27 de febrer i seguirà per Tokyo, Nova York, Londres, Moscou i París.

Per una altra banda tenim que el pavelló, anomenat “Art Container”, és una estructura espectacular creada per Zaha Hadid.

En algun post anterior comentava que la Zaha Hadid és una de les meves arquitectes preferides, pel disseny i innovació en els seus projectes. Com no podia ser d’altra manera, el “Art Container” marca clarament la personalitat característica de la Hadid.

I per acabar de relligar-ho tot, la pàgina web de l’esdeveniment està absolutament en sintonia amb el concepte de l’exposició. Com explica Karl Lagerfeld…”disseny i arquitectura són el verdader art d’avui”.
