As an individual we are aware that our life is not that long, short perhaps, around 77 year old is the life expectancy in average , lucky if we get reach 90 or 100. Therefore you better plan your life as soon as possible. Choose which dream that you want to achieve. Your dream must be rational and attainable. Like choosing which bus will take you to the right destination.

Guide your life. Follow the path that you have planned. In the future perhaps you will face one or more obstacles during your journey but its fine. Just do the right thing, keep guiding your life on the track. Take a rest for while if you want and go on again.

As soon as your life is steady perhaps you may want to include people around you or even the special one to support you and vice versa. Let them experience how is your life. Let them merge into one into your life/ your self. Let them and you walk through out the time to your goal or even now your and their goals.

This one is optional for those who are not faith on it. Some people are not recognize any religion in this world, but in other hand they believe in what they called superpower. It does not matter. You may call it Allah, Jesus, Budha, Shiva, or anything. Just pray to your faith. Let them make you stronger during your journey.

Perhaps if you are the one that only believe in your self. Then faith to your self.

Just a short one: I googled myself just to see what would come up, and found this. Someone has blogged about a ring I made last year for the Marriage a la Mode project where I had to design and make an unconventional engagement ring. I’m flattered Glad to see that someone actually appreciates the ideas that went behind this design.

I recently saw these amazing series of paintings by Matthew Killick at Viktor Wynd’s gallery of The Last Tuesday Society. Now if you knew anything about me you’d know first hand that I’m crazy about all things underwater, creepy and eerie, though it doesn’t have to be in that exact order. These hyper-detailed paintings are reminiscent of those early days of science where I’d look at a slice of onion or a drop of blood under a microscope for the very first time. Matthew Killick’s love of deep sea diving is probably the impetus for this series, he speaks about it in more detail in an interview.

“Painting and diving are similar activities for me. Both rely on intense concentration and focus, and there is a sense of exploration in both that excites me. When I dive in low visibility conditions, I have a very intimate connection to the things I see. My work gravitated to that type of imagery in a natural way. I didn’t decide to make works that were based on my underwater experiences, it just happened on its own. Since I was young, I had heart palpatations, and during my teen years I learnt how to control them. I put this to use now that I dive, by slowing my heart rate down. This helps conserve air, but also puts me into a focused and meditative state. It is very similar to the state of mind I experience when painting.”

Ben Watts—English by birth, Australian by education, American by immigration—eschews the clean lines of a typical monograph in his second book, opting for torn photographs, Polaroid collages, words and drawings scrawled over the faces of celebrities and strangers alike.And the book bursts with energy, in part because of Watts’s fascination with youth culture: BMX bikers, Jamaican vacationers, tan and tattooed beach bums. Where Watts really shines, though, is in his portraits of more familiar faces, which are stunning in their naturalness—like Heath Ledger tearing through a skate park, Benicio del Toro smoking against a wall, Lil Wayne whipping his dreadlocks over his face. In Lickshot (Princeton Architectural Press, $60), Watts explosively compiles and remixes a catalogue of the wildness and intensity of youth and fame, all held together by neon tape and tattooed knuckles. Never has there been a better opportunity for vicarious living.

Creativity is not design! It’s not!

But there are creative design, and not-so creative designs out there.

Andy Rutledge came out with a test to illustrate the difference between creativity and design.

In his words, Creativity is bound by no laws, rules, or strictures …which is perhaps why it’s so intoxicating (sometimes to the point of delusion). Design, on the other hand, is based entirely on math, psychology, human perception, and a host of rigid rules and laws that can be broken by only a highly skilled few. How apt.

So the next time when you see an ‘artistic expression’ that makes you feel uncomfortable, maybe because the creative artist is not a designer?

I usually am not too intrigued visually by landscape or environmental shots unless they are black and white and extremely fantasy driven. But, Anna Verlet has a collection of nostalgic nature shots that have really impressed me.

100 zombies can cause a lot of havoc when your civilians aren’t armed and apparently can’t run fast enough to get away from these things.

Note the green character who is coughing green...he soon turns red. Five minutes in and the zombies have gone from 100 to over a thousand.

Here we see how the zombies chase their prey. Well, they just chase anything that's green (alive).

There are now more zombies than humans. Who will win this epic battle?

It’s fun to try out different numbers… thousands of zombies, lots of civilian guns and high shooting  accuracy. The key, though, does seem to be in giving the humans guns, and accuracy.

Thank goodness it’s not the zombie-pocalypse and we don’t all need guns eh?

To me this looks like a koi. But they called it a fleur de lys. Click to zoom in close and image how grand this “estate” would look. It’s fun to dream about places like this.
