I admit, I’m an amateur poetry-lover and few do it better than the Japanese.  While I was reserching Shinto on SacredTexts.com, I came across this book a few months ago and actually printed the whole thing out and guerrilla-bound it.  Which is basically a 3-hole punch and some yarn, haha.  Take a look, there’s some artful use of language even in those translations.

I took to reading a few pages every night before bed, and was struck by how much could be contained in so little space.  Kind of a linguistic minimalism, ala Joy Division or John Cage in music.  Even though Germanic languages are a  bad fit for syllable-based poetry, I tried my hand at writing some shortrune-poems in the Haiku style, trying to use a rune as the subject instead of a season, as is the usual Japanese custom.  Here are a few of my attempts at “Asaku” in the 5-7-5 syllable structure.  Most of them were written on tour last June 2009, while we were driving through the Arizona desert at night.

When our gods return

need-fires leap high and bright

Forge our loyalty

Sun sinks down and dies

mistletoe hangs its shamed head

a loss so divine

rough rock is worn smooth

our lives ebbing and flowing

in waters of wyrd

Poets burning blaze

fed by honey from above

’round the fire, enthralled

Golden mead drips down

feed our eternal hunger

until sunset, live

Angry jotuns blood

washes away all Order

food for growing grass

Alone on a hill

one-eye hangs through the cold night

captures blood-stained runes

Coldest flakes drift down

roads become death and danger

Hail grows and gives life

Wicca-derived modern neopagan slang terms like “newbie” and “getting thwapped” have absolutely no place in even moderately reconstructionist pagan religions.

“Newbie” is a term implying resentment towards beginners. It’s appropriate in something like online gaming, where beginners can be annoying and in the way. Whether or not it’s appropriate in Wicca or other witchcraft practice is none of my business, since I’m not a Wiccan or any other kind of witch. But in [recon] polytheist faiths, that kind of attitude towards new believers makes no sense whatsoever. We should be embracing, welcoming, and guiding new believers, not resenting them and being annoyed at them. Why on earth would we want to discourage people from coming back around to the gods of their ancestors? Sure, just like new believers in any faith, their (our) heads are probably full of leftover ideas from wherever they came from, but the response there should be gentle (or firm, as the case may be) correction, not personal resentment. Direct your ire toward the religion(s) that gave them unhelpful ideas, not toward them for having them. New believers are not in the way; they are an essential part of a living, thriving faith community.

“Being thwapped” is a flippant and disrespectful term for a powerful and sacred revelatory mystical experience. It stems from an casual attitude towards the gods that is born from neopagan beliefs about the nature of divinity that have no place in a truly polytheistic faith. But even if you believe that the gods are mere psychological archetypes, they still are potent and powerful archetypes that should be honored and respected. Being casual about them is dangerously disrespectful, if you believe they actually exist in any real sense.

Between the lore we have from the ancients and analogous modern living polytheist faiths we have plenty of vocabulary–specialized, tested, specific vocabulary that properly expresses what we are trying to say the way we should be saying it. Relying on modern neopagan slang to define our spiritual lives essentially allows modern neopaganism to set the terms, and it undermines many of the core concepts of our faiths.

Oh great, now I have more proof that sleep is good and that one of my favorite passages in the Havamal makes even more sense than I gave it credit for.  I’ve been working on living by this one and the ones about drinking, it’s kind of hard…there’s just so much to do in a day.

I’ve been making it a habit to stay up for at least two days at a time over the last few months just to work on things, whether it be music, bass, songwriting, computer stuff, reading, homework or whatever.  But maybe it wasn’t worth it, according to this study.  I know for a fact that a lot of people I know, musicians and artists and other creative types, pull hours just as weird as mine either by choice or by necessity.  Just remember that sleep is apparently a boon to creativity.  Cool.  Thanks, Havamal!

Sleep, it turns out, is imperative for coming to new insights and being able to see new creative solutions to old problems because while you sleep, your mind can discover hidden or novel connections between seemingly random pieces of information. This process not only helps you find the meaning in what you have learned, but by forging connections among differing pieces of information, the odds that a creative idea or insight will surface increases.

If you keep toiling over a problem you can easily wind up with tunnel vision that keeps you from finding an appropriate solution. Sleep removes the blinders and helps “reset” your brain to look at things from a different perspective, which is crucial to creativity.

One could come to the conclusion that sleeping is essential for wisdom, since most knowledge or information alone, without meaning or context, is useless. But by discovering the relationships between bits of information, it can help you can make better decisions in the future.

“Sleeping on it” may indeed be the most practical solution when you’re faced with a tricky problem.

The Winter Solstice represents the shortest day and the longest night. From this day onward Sunna gains strength and eventually breaks winter’s spell. Celebrate Sunna’s return and the fertility she brings!

3rd Day of Yule – Remembering the Noble Virtue of Courage
Courage is definitely an attitude of boldness, however, not the absence of fear. Courage is the carrying in spite of your fear. It is courage that allows us to live life in such a manner that we can be proud.

4th Day of Yule – Remembering the Noble Virtue of Truth
Truth is as relative as the individual. What one person or group finds to be the Truth, another finds to be ridiculous. There is no universal truth. There is no one-way or right way of seeing things. What we accept as truth is merely that; our truth. No one person or group has the right to dictate their truth on anyone. Search for your own truth.

5th Day of Yule – Remembering the Noble Virtue of Honor
Honor is the ability to hold your head high in all situations. We set standards for ourselves and live according to those standards. We are not encouraged to set low standards, rather, set high standards and work toward them continually, even behind closed doors.

6th Day of Yule – Remembering the Noble Virtue of Fidelity
We must remain loyal to who and what we are. Those around us need to have the ability to take us at our word, and our word needs to be our bond. Our handshake needs to seal the deal. The devotion to our deeds has to be of the uttermost importance.

7th Day of Yule – Remembering the Noble Virtue of Hospitality
Welcome those into your house and your life as you can. In today’s world, we cannot trust everyone with whom we come in contact, but we can exercise caution and be as welcoming as possible. Similarly, be a proper and respectful guest when you are welcomed.

8th Day of Yule – Remembering the Noble Virtue of Discipline
Our Way is not an easy way. In many aspects, we fly in the face of the society around us. Stay Tru to the ideals of Heathenry as they unfold in your life. Be diligent in the study of your beliefs. Stay Tru to the gods and goddesses of the Northern Germanic peoples.

9th Day of Yule – Remembering the Noble Virtue of Industriousness
Life requires that we work hard. Never sit back and take the easy way out in regards to your ability to create a lifestyle for yourself. No matter the lifestyle you choose, know that your elevation in life, or lack of it, may (but not always) be the direct result of your depth of diligence. Do the best you can, and know that your efforts have been suitably rewarded.

Do not create codependent relationships in any way. Do not let your happiness, or your success, be determined by anyone else. Be responsible for yourself. Rely on your own efforts to secure your needs.

11th Day of Yule – Remembering the Noble Virtue of Perseverance
If you give up, you die. It really is simple, isn’t it? No matter what you are doing, see it to its conclusion. Even if you try and fail, realize that the only real failure is not trying. Failure is evidence that someone has tried. Success is failure defeated.

12th night
Thus ends the season of Yule as we prepare for the upcoming year. It’s a time to remember from whence you came as well as a time to make plans for the near future. Take oaths, make promises, hold inventory so you know your present position in relation to where you want to be. Remember, “Luck often enough will save a man (or woman) if his (or her) courage holds” (The 13th Warrior).

Quantum Runes

The new Laws of Quantum Physics have blown open the box containing the secrets of wise rune masters of the past.

We now know for certain that there exists an infinite ocean of thinking, intelligent energy called the Quantum Ocean.

Here is a picture of the altar I have set up in our kitchen. The back board was inspired by the iconostases in Orthodox churches, the pictures themselves were taken from the Clanrealm site, as it was the only place I could find with a comprehensive selection of images that were largely of a type. I’m not overly sure about the skimpiness of the costumes some of our Goddesses are portrayed as wearing; it looks like Asgard must have a warmer climate than I expected.

The more research I do on Norse Mythology and Asatru and Heathenry, the more I want a set of runes.  It looks like November might just be the month for me! In this blog I intend to discuss my thoughts on Heathenry and associated subjects, how I worship our Gods and occasionally discuss any other things that may be occupying my mind.

I hope that the discipline of putting ideas down in writing on a regular basis will help me to better systematise my practice and belief. While I believe Heathen practice should be based in the main on the information we can glean from the written sources and other academic research, I also think that considering how a living polytheistic folk religion has developed and faces the present day is also of enormous value to modern Heathens, so I would also like to explore common ground we may have with other religions such as Shinto, Hinduism and other folk traditions around the world.

Initially I will not take any action to publicise this myself as I am interested to see how many people stumble across it by themselves. In six months, I’ll consider the results. As I am taking this approach, any comments or suggestions would be greatly welcomed. I am a fairly thick-skinned individual, so if you don’t like something, please feel free to wade in. Rune Spirit Warrior

Lesson #1

Introduction

The main goal of a Rune Spirit Warrior is to incorporate the Power of the the 18 Runes into your Aura. Once you have these 18 individual Runes into your Aura; you can then choose to direct their energies any where you want.

You can use them to increase your health, wealth, love, creativity, courage etc. You can use them to send these energies to anyone else on the planet.

And most importantly, you can use the Power of the Runes to strengthen your Ancestral Soul.

Rudolf Steiner tells us that each race and sub race on the planet has an Over Soul, or an Ancestral Soul. It is an energy sphere that contains all the wisdom, history, teachings, spirituality, genetics of that particular race.

Every member of that Race can draw power, wisdom, courage and a sense of purpose from the Ancestral Soul of the Race. All of our ancestors exist there. We exist there. Our children, grand children, and great grand children, not yet physically born yet, exist there.

It is where we all get our power, wisdom, intelligence, DNA and sense of purpose from.

The stronger any individual Soul within the Ancestral Soul becomes, the stronger every Soul in the Ancestral Soul becomes. They feed each other power.

We have a duty as a Rune Spirit Warrior to our Ancestors who exist in the Ancestral Soul, to all the Norther Europeans who exist now on the planet and to those not born yet. This duty is to keep the energies of the Ancestral Soul strong through our Spirit Rune Work.

The Great Creator God, the One who created Odin and the Race of Northern European Peoples, has given each of the Races it’s own pantheon of Gods/Goddesses as well as it’s own destiny.

I, of Swedish Ancestry have a destiny and a purpose. The Swedes part of the Northern Europeans has a Destiny.

All the other races and sub races on the planet have purposes and destinies. The whole Human Race, which is only a part, or a thin layer of organic life on this planet, has a destiny.

The Planet, the Sun, the whole Solar System, the Galaxy, the Universe all have purposes and destinies. They are all alive in their own way.

It is all part of the Divine Plan. If any part of the whole part is missing, the whole purpose of existence is set off balance.

Reality all around us, Races, Planets, and Galaxies are like the small wheels and cogs in a finely made clock. The clock will not work well or work at all if one of the wheels or cogs is broken or missing.

The Northern European Race is a very important wheel in the clock of Reality. It must be preserved and kept strong and running correctly for the whole clock to perform it’s correct purpose and destiny.

Not one Race or sub race, one wheel or cog must be allowed to stop turning. But that is their responsibility. Ours is to our Ancestral Soul.

Where to start. You start with the 18 Runic Futhark. Your first task is to breathe the power and energies of the 18 Runes into your aura.

You must first get the Runes into your Aura before you can use them.

So, you have 18 weeks of work ahead of you. One Rune per week.

I will attach to this introductory letter the instructions you will need to start your Rune breathing exercises.

Take the time to make yourself a hand made set of Rune Cards at least 6” high, colored rad, you can use index cards. You will use these to meditate on and to make the connection to the energies of the Rune in the Ancestral Soul.

The Runes are individual keys to the creative energies of the Universe. They are not words. They are energies.

They exist and have always existed in Mimir’s Well or what is known today as the Quantum Ocean. Odin did not discover the Runes, he rediscovered them. They always existed.

We need to update the way we think about the Runes, the Pantheon of the Norse Gods and Goddesses and our Ancestral Soul.

We must take all the allegories and outdated language of our legends and myths and bring them into the 21^st century. The Universe was not created by the bones and skull of a Giant who Odin killed. That is an allegory that must be updated. This is a very unique and important century for all mankind. It is the start of the Age of Aquarius which will be with us for the next 2000 years.

We have just left the Age of Pisces, which was ruled by Christianity and lasted 2000 years.

It is Now the Age of the Mind and the Truth and the Rune Spirit Warrior.

The Paradigm of the Laws of Quantum Physics will play a major rolls in our Rune Spirit Warrior teachings.

Now that we have entered the Age of Aquarius and have been given the Laws of Quantum Physics, we must widen our world view. We must build a new Rune Paradigm that includes the Laws of Quantum Physics.

These Laws simply tell us that there exists an infinite ocean of thinking, intelligent energy called the Quantum Ocean. There is no time there only the Now.

In reality, it is the Mind of God, the Creator God, the Prime Mover, the Grand Architect of the Universe. It is the God who created all the other lesser Gods, including Odin.

Everything that ever was, is or will be exists in the Quantum Ocean. You always existed, I always existed, Odin always existed and the Runes always existed. The Runes are keys to the Universal Creative energies of the Universe.

Another fact of the Laws of the Quantum Physics is that all is energy; energy is relationships. There is nothing solid in our physical Universe, only the configuration of energies held together by pre-set patterns.

Our physical body is not solid but made up of energy centers called chakras, held together by a, panty hose type energy called an Aura.

There is a definite relationship between the Runic Energies and your chakras. To stay healthy you must have strong, healthy energy centers, Chakras. They must have life-force flowing though them continuously.

By meditating and breathing in the corresponding Runes, into your corresponding Chakras, you will keep the life-force flowing.

In Norse mythology, Líf (Old Norse “life”[1]) and Lífþrasir (Old Norse “the one striving after life”[2] or “thriving remnant”[1]), female and male respectively, are two humans who are foretold to survive the events of Ragnarök by having hidden in Hoddmímis holt, and after the flames have sated, to repopulate the newly risen and fertile world. Líf and Lífthrasir are attested in the Poetic Edda, compiled in the 13th century from earlier traditional sources, and the Prose Edda, written in the 13th century by Snorri Sturluson. Scholarly theories have been proposed about the underlining meaning and origins of the two.

I’m thinking that this may have already happened in the great flood roughly 4-5k years ago as this would have been the beginning of our current thought process designated by Adam and Eve which then tells me that perhaps the tower of Babel happened first… **teehee** But Adam and Eve are ideas or groups of people as the hebrew word Ad-hem means “Red Earth” and Eve is …well…could be the mother of our current civilization and the eating of the fruit forebodes our current affairs.

Let me explain:

I had been doing some research into the Medicine wheel and it’s involvment with the 2012 prophecies, since these traditions are almost exactly alike in most regards (Mayan-western corner designated by the color Red and earth (as in Red People) and Norse-The northern corner designated by White and Fire(white people)) I thought perhaps there had been African (being the south and black corner designated by water) and an Asian tradition (designated by Yellow and Air in the East). I’d like to find them.

Thats all i’m going to cover right now because I need to get off of here and I need to outline my other post because I think it get’s better but it correlates to this one.

Our entering into the 5th age has already happened a long time ago and the cycle has repeated itself as we are entering into a new fifth age…it’s awesome!

I thought most of this up in a dream once…crazy.

RUNE SPIRIT WARRIOR INVITATION

Thank you for your request to become a Rune Spirit Warrior.

This is a project that I have created by myself with the help of my Rune studies and my contact with the All Father. I fully explained my meeting with the All Father in my “Conversations With Odin,” book that I wrote. I have had many similar experiences with the All Father since then..

It seems that during the last 25 years, I have paid the price needed to open the doors to communications with Odin.

True Magic is in the price that has been paid. Nothing in life happens by accident.

Even the stranger you meet on the street is not an accident. Every person, place and event in your life has meaning.

In my spiritual wanderings I was very fortunate to have studied with a Cherokee medicine man, “Willie Whitefeather,” in the desert of Arizona. It is amazing how similar our spiritual beliefs are.

He once told me that “You white men are stupid; because the Great Spirit is constantly talking to you with the wind, the birds, the trees, people you meet….. and you do not hear because you are not listening.”

The real breakthrough to Odin, the Runes and the Northern pantheon of Gods/Goddesses came when I took a deep interest in the New Age of Aquarius paradigm of Quantum Physics.

These Laws explained to me that there is an infinite ocean of thinking, intelligent energy called the Quantum Ocean where time does not exist. Everything that ever was, is or will be exists there, Odin, the Runes, the pantheon of Norse Gods/Goddesses exist there. So do I.

I also exist here on the physical plane. A light bulb, or should I say a flash of lightening went off when I discovered the Laws of Quantum Physics, and I knew and believed for sure that I could contact the Runes, Odin and the Norse Gods/Goddesses who exist in the non-physical realms of the Quantum Ocean (Asgard). And I now knew how to bring them into the Physical Realms (Midgard).

I also knew that I could communicate with the Norse Gods and I could attract the powers of the Runes into my life.

This new powerful belief opened that magical bridge (BiFrost) between these two worlds for me.

Nothing in the Universe remains the same. The only constant is change.

There is a tremendous need to change how we experience the Runes and how we communicate with the Gods/Goddesses. We do not want to change them or diminish their powers; but to incorporate the Runes and the powers of the Gods/Goddesses into the twenty first century. To use the new tools and technology given to us as gifts from the new Age of Aquarius, which will be with us for the next 2000 years.

Our Ancestral Soul and the culture of our Northern European ancestry is being swallowed up by the ever encroaching, politically correct society which wants to bring all men and women under their control.

To believe what they want us to believe, to worship the Gods that they want us to worship and to destroy all remnants of our individuality and our culture.

By becoming a Rune Spirit Warrior, we will not be delivering an all out war against the “Politically Correct” society. We will not fight them. What we will do is attract the power of the Runes and the Power of the Northern Gods/Goddesses out of the Quantum Ocean and rebuild and strengthen our Ancestral Soul.

Our Ancestral is like our immune system. The stronger we make it, the better it will be able to block out the intruding destructive energies aimed at us.

There are two ways to have the strongest culture and ancestral Soul. One is to destroy all the others, which seems to be the goal of the politically correct. The other is to build, build, build yours until it is the biggest and strongest.

That is what we will do as Rune Spirit Warriors.

The Beginning

As a beginning Rune-Spirit-Warrior there are several areas of study you must become thoroughly familiar with.

The Runes and their energy meanings, since they are keys to the creative energies of the Universe. Runes are not words; they are energies and you will learn how to use them that way.

Secondly, how the new paradigm of the Laws of Quantum Physics is used in regards to Runes, Norse Mythology, Norse gods/goddesses and the Northern European Ancestral Soul.

The Laws of Quantum Physics are the keys to the tools that will allow you to attract the living energies of the Runes, the gods and the Ancestral Soul out of the Quantum Ocean (Mimir’s Well) and into your Aura.

We are not bodies that contain a soul as Christians tell us, but a soul that has a body within it.

The Aura is the connecting link between the unmanifested energies of the Quantum Ocean and your physical reality all around you.

Therefore, what ever energies you carry or attract into your Aura will create your physical reality around you.

When you attract the energies of the Runes into your Aura, the energies of the Runes will become part of your Reality.

Love, Strength, Wisdom, Courage, Prosperity, Intuition, Power, Protection etc. will become part of your Reality.

You will no longer need to go into the woods (unless you want to with your sword, ax, helmet and mead) and practice outdated blots and symbols. You can do it from the comfort of your favorite chair.

The Blot Rituals in most of the books were written for Vikings living many years ago. They belong to the “Age of Pisces.” And the physical reality of man.

You will learn how to project the Thorn Rune of Protection around yourself, your children, your family and your home and sacred grounds.

You will learn how to make Runic Bind Runes. Practice Rune Yoga, Rune mantras and Rune Songs.

You will learn how to communicate and build a rapport with any God or Goddess of your choice.

The beginning phase of becoming a Rune-Spirit Warrior will take about 1 year.

No me cansaré de repetir que la Unión Europea es un organismo antidemocrático que está en contra de la identidad, la independencia, la cultura y la raza europea. Creo que a nadie se le oculta que hoy la UE es la principal impulsora del mestizaje racial y la islamización de nuestro continente, cuyos frutos serán la aniquilación de la Europa que conocemos, antes del año 2.050. Pero en esta empresa genocida la UE no está sola. La mejor manera de tener esclavos serviles es precisamente robarles su identidad y para ello lo mejor es borrar de sus mentes su pasado. Y en esta faena ha entrado también la Asociación de Federaciones Europeas de Fútbol, más conocida como UEFA.

A partir del mes de septiembre los colegiados de toda Europa van a recibir un cuaderno en el que se especifican los símbolos por los cuales un partido debe ser detenido y en su caso, suspendido. A la prohibición de la Svástica (signo religioso más antíguo de los europeos y otros pueblos de la Tierra), ahora hay que añadir el símbolo de la Espada y el Martillo, las águilas (no se especifican cuales, por tanto prohibirán todas), logo del KKK, la Rueda del Trabajo (a pesar de haber sido un símbolo soviético), la Cruz de Hierro (condecoración más alta que se otorga a los militares en Alemania hoy en día), la bandera Confederada (legal en los EE.UU.) y los dos martillos cruzados porque al parecer son el logo del grupo Hammerskin.

Muchos dirán que era algo esperado y por ello no hará nada. Hace años que los Odinistas deberíamos haber llevado a los tribunales la prohibición de nuestro emblema religioso más sagrado, la Svástica, tanto en cuanto otros símbolos usados por regímenes asesinos marxistas como la Hoz y el Martillo, efigies del Che Guevara (asesino a sangre fría de más de 1000 personas en Cuba) o las Estrellas Rojas soviéticas y chinas, acreedoras de más de 100 millones de muertos en todo el mundo, jamás han sido prohibidas en ninguna parte de Europa. Por esa docilidad y esa cobardía, hoy también se ha prohibido la exhibición en los estadios de fútbol toda de Europa de la Cruz Celta o Solar, el Trisquel, el Sol Negro y el Irminsul, nuestro roble sagrado. Y todo ello se hace bajo la etiqueta de ser “simbología nazi”. Me pregunto en que momento los nazis usaron la Cruz Solar o el Irminsul; que venga alguien de la UEFA y me lo demuestre. No es que yo justifique otras prohibiciones como las que mencionaba al principio de este artículo porque, repito, otros símbolos también han sido usados por regímenes que cometieron millones de crímenes y no solo no se han prohibido, sino que en algunas partes se ven con simpatía por parte de las autoridades. Es que no se puede prohibir mostrar en público emblemas o símbolos que pertenecen a religiones oficialmente reconocidas y totalmente legales y hoy por hoy, el Odinismo es legal en España y en toda Europa y tanto el Irminsul (Ydraggsil) y la Svástica son signos sagrados, de la misma manera que la Cruz Solar es el emblema sagrado de las confesiones Celtas.

De momento estamos hablando a nivel de estadios de fútbol, pero es obvio que esto se va a trasladar también fuera de ellos y dentro de muy poco, todo aquel que lleve una camiseta, colgante o sudadera con un Irminsul, será tachado de “nazi” y susceptible de sufrir en sus carnes la represión de la Policía, jueces o antifas (que todos forman parte del mismo entramado). Esto es algo que ya sucede en Alemania, donde también han sido prohibidas algunas runas como Tyr u Odal y eso ha servido de excusa a los antifas para agredir sin más a cuantos llevan colgadas, tatuadas o impresas en ropa cualquier otra runa. La caza del pagano y del odinista ha quedado abierta.

Cierto es que algunos miembros del NSDAP eran paganos u odinistas. Cierto es que en algunos ámbitos de ese régimen se usaron runas porque parte de su ideología consistía en recuperar los símbolos del pasado germánico, pero no es menos cierto que entre los millones de afiliados al NSDAP había una mayoria aplastante de católicos y protestantes cristianos y no por ello se ha prohibido la Cruz (lo mismo dentro de unos años me tengo que comer mis palabras al paso que vamos…). Y todo esto viene ocurriendo en un continente que alardea de derechos cívicos y de proclamar a los cuatro vientos la Libertad de Expresión, cuando resulta que ni tan si quiera podemos opinar diferente a la mayoría porque eso es un delito. En Europa hoy es delito hasta pensar diferente a la masa aborregada, que asiste impasible a la aniquilación del legado de sus antepasados. Mientras, se da paso sin complejos al Burka y tras él al Hijab, a la Sharia, a las violaciones de mujeres que desafían esa repugnante Sharia, a los asesinatos por honor, a la ablación del clítoris en las niñas o a esa otra salvajada de la que nadie habla nunca y que se llama Circuncisión, por la cual a niños de 8 y 9 años sufren también la mutilación de la piel de su pene, sin garantias sanitarias, cuchillo en mano y con toda la brutalidad que imponen los padres y el clero musulmán. Pero todo es bienvenido si lo perpetra el Islám, que es la bomba que la UE y el Sionismo Financiero han colocado en las entrañas de nuestra tierra para hacerla saltar por los aire.

Como rúbrica a todo esto, parece ser que el Sí ha ganado hoy en el referéndum para la aprobación del Tratado de la Unión Europea en Irlanda, justamente en esa Irlanda maravillosa con un pasado tan gloriosamente pagano. Esto solo significa que hoy Europa se ha volado la tapa de los sesos porque ahora practicamente nada va a impedir que ese tratado entre en vigor, que esté por encima de cualquier ley nacional y que esa Comisión Europea, que se elige así misma, nos gobierne de la misma manera dictatorial que el PCUS gobernaba en la URSS. Hoy no solo es un día triste para los que somos paganos, es también un día triste para todos los verdaderos patriotas europeos.

I am always wandering around the web, exploring, digging for information, and learning; yeah we will call it learning.  If you know me, you know I am not particularly a religious person either, sure I believe in God but I do not really care for an established church. In my observations, modern churches are usually nothing more than a social organization that gives people a place to gather. In many cases the churches and people therein, are nothing more that hypocritical folks who think they know better than someone else. Not all mind you, but many, and that has turned me away more times than not. First and for most, for anyone to claim they know the right way to a higher being, in my opinion is rather arrogant and a complete jump in, well, faith. One thing to add, because it has relevance to the next paragraphs, is that I have never understood how people around the world accept Christianity. I mean, can you trace your family back to Israel? I doubt it. Odds are your family can be traced back to Europe or Africa. So why do you accept a God who may or may not be the creation of some people from the middle of nowhere in the Middle East? If a guy from the Middle East was to tell you that you needed to live a certain way today, you would laugh him off, but here we are, millions of us, worshiping a god whose origins come people you are not connected to in anyway.

Anywho. Not why I came today. I stumbled upon this religion called Asatru today and started reading around their website, they make some interesting points. Remember that my family can be traced back to Scotland, this helps, trust me.

Perhaps the best way to understand Asatru is to compare it with the more familiar American Indian spirituality. Both are tribal. Both honor the ancestors and both have much to teach us about our connection with the natural world around us. Both offer a noble set of values. Most relevant to the point we are trying to make, the Germanic Way and the Way of the American Indian are both native religions – the indigenous religions of specific peoples…..What is truly strange is to adopt a religion that began in another part of the globe, among people who were not our ancestors!

The above quote from this page, they make the point that we as a society accept ‘native’ Indian beliefs, those that are emerging out of Africa, yet when people bring up the ancient religions of  OUR VERY OWN ANCESTERS we consider them a cult, witches, etc. I think this comes directly from middle to late Middle Ages efforts of the Catholic Church to brandish people who followed similar beliefs as heretics and witches, they even took them to the stake. So this could merely be some manner of hold over belief that has been passed down. I am sure if I told my grandmother I was a Wiccan now she would immediately ask if I was a witch or if I was a Satan worshipper. I think it is a natural reaction the Church has been very good at promoting since around the 1500s. I have to say I agree with them. I have never been to Israel and until the US Army deployed me to Iraq, I had never crossed paths with anyone who walked in the Bible (I have been to a well that Mary supposedly drank from and crossed the paths that numerous people in the Bible walked, locations they visited). So what is my connection to them?

I really wonder about this. I think if you asked most of us if we felt a connection to the people in the past, most would say something to the effect “M family comes from______(fill in a European country)” and yet when asked about their religion, they claim ancestry with a religion that has absolutely nothing to do with where they people come from at all. To top it off, they are comfortable with it.

In short, Asatru is not some strange cult, nor something we have taken up casually, nor a historical hobby group. It is a native religion of a large and important part of the Earth’s population – the peoples of Europe. As such, it deserves respect just like the religion of the Indian peoples, the African nations, or any other group on Earth.

I have to say, these guys make some compelling and interesting points. Plus, I always thought Thor was a badasses.

Ganz herzlich eingeladen sind auch die Celtoi unter Euch. Schließlich laufen hier in Süddeutschland die Pfade beider Religionen eng nebeneinander her. Was wäre da naheliegender als sich die Wege auch gelegentlich kreuzen zu lassen? Auf gute Zusammenkunft und hoffentlich zahlreiches Erscheinen.
