Rosette Hello Kitty Moist & Lift Sheet Mask

Quick Asian Beauty Mask Lesson:

1. Place mask on a freshly washed and tone face (if you do not use a toner that is ok)

2. Leave it on for 15-20 minutes

3. Take the mask off and rub in any excess product. If you have extra excess you can rub it on your hands.

Okay… Mask Number 4: The Rosette Hello Kitty Moist & Lift Sheet Mask. This the second mask I have tried without the cutouts to pull around your ears. Unlike the NARUKO Rose & Botanic HA Aqua Cubic Hydrating Mask this one stayed on better. However, it was still ill-fitting. The cut outs for the eyes, nose, and mouth were in the right place but I had to fold down the edges of the mask near my hairline. This mask also had tabs for your eyelids ~ that is something I have never seen before and found it odd. These tabs could be good if you plan to lay down and close your eyes for the 20 minutes but other wise I find them annoying after the first 5 minutes I folded them up.

The product in this mask is less sticky than the NARUKO and it has light I want to say flora smell but I can’t really name it so I am going to say it has a light girly scent. It is nice smelling and not distracting.

Like the other Hello Kitty mask I tried this one also made my skin tingle and had a cooling effect on my face. I really like products that tingle it lets me know that it is working. So there must be an active ingredient in both masks that cause this cooling effect. I wish my Japanese was better so I can figure it out but I digress let’s get back to the review. After the product dries your skin feels soft and you don’t need to use a moisturizer afterwards.

Overall, I would use this one again even though it does not have the cut outs for your ears.

So this is the last mask I purchased. I really like Asian Beauty Masks because they are so easy to use. Maybe next time I will try some that are good for other things besides putting moisture back into the skin.

Okay… Mask Number 3: The NARUKO Rose & Botanic HA Aqua Cubic Hydrating Mask. This the first mask I have tried without the cutouts to pull around your ears. I am gonna be honest. I didn’t like it. It was hard to keep the mask on. I felt like that I could not do anything else while the mask was on.

But let’s start with the good. It has a wonderful rose smell. The product is very sticky and it really soaks into your skin leaving your face dry. And the mask itself especially felt dry on the cheek areas when time was up. On the package, it claims to restore moisture and give you a radiant dewy glow. After I took the mask off my skin did looked brighter and I had a nice glow.

Onto the bad…. It was a really bad fit. It seems to have been made for a larger and wider face which I found odd because it is a Taiwanese brand. I found myself time and time again smoothing the mask back down throughout the 20 minutes. It may have left my face brighter but it also left it tighter. Unlike the 2 previous masks I have tried I needed to use a moisturizer after it.

Overall, I am not a fan of this one because I bought masks that were suppose to bring moisture to my face and this one did not. But if you are looking for a mask to brighten your skin then try this one out.

Okay… Mask Number 2: Is the Sexylook x Hello Kitty Ultra Moisturizing Pink Sakura Double Lifting Mask. For the second mask I have tried this one is my favorite so far. It also has ear cut outs like the Cogit W Lift Repair Mask. There was lots of product on this on but it did not drip. The mask fits great on my face There is a light flower (sakura) scent but it is not over powering. The product is a little sticky but it will dry leaving your skin soft. So soft and refreshed that you do not need to put on a moisturizer.

I don’t know if it was just me but it felt like there was a cooling effect. It tingled while it was on my face and after I took the mask off my face still felt cool for the next 10 minutes or so. This one came in a pack of 7. I will have to try it again see if I get the same cool tingle effect. Because if does have a cooling effect then this mask would be great after a hot day in the sun. Imagine if you put it in the refrigerator for a few minutes…take a moment… that would be pure heaven on a hot day.

Again I will leave you with a creepy picture:

Cogit W Lift Repair Mask Step 2 Moisturizing

Quick Asian Beauty Mask Lesson:

1. Place mask on a freshly washed and tone face (if you do not use a toner that is ok)

2. Leave it on for 15-20 minutes

3. Take the mask off and rub in any excess product. If you have extra excess you can rub it on your hands.

So this is the first mask I have tried and from the picture you can see it has it has the ear holds. As it is the first mask I have tried in a while I really don’t have a comparison.

What I can say is the fit was great. The eye and mouth sockets were not too big. It felt really secure and not too tight because the mask give a little when tugging it around you rears. But it does not lose it shape or get saggy during the 15-20 minute wait.

When you first take the mask out of the packet it is drippy. That means there is a lot of product to soak into your skin. It did drip for the first 5 minutes so if you using this mask in the morning keep your pajama top on. You don’t want to stain the outfit before you even leave the house.

Afterwards my skin felt very moisturized and soft. No real moisturizer needed. But I was leaving the house that day so I put on some sunscreen.

Now I will now leave you with a creepy pic of me . Just so you can see the fit of the mask (the things I do for this blog…hangs head in shame…).

So I really did not take advantage of the Asian Beauty Market while I was in Japan. I am so mad at m

So I really did not take advantage of the Asian Beauty Market while I was in Japan. I am so mad at myself. （╯°□°）╯︵ ┻━┻ But in my defense it was kind hard to find things that fit my skin tone. Let’s be honest I am a little bit (a lot ) darker than those they are marketing to in Asia. Also I had to be careful because a good chunk of the skin care products have some kind of bleaching agent in it. I said it once and I will say it again, “Everybody looks better with a tan.” lol

These masks are diffrent than what you would find in America. It is an actual mask with eyes, nose, and mouth cut outs. Recently, you can find masks that also have cut outs for your ears. You loop those around your ears and it pulls the mask taut against your face. It is more secure and you can actually do other things while the mask is on your face for 15 to 20 minutes. I got all of this stuff from imomoko.com. But there are thousand of websites out there with perhaps better prices or package deals. I also found a good chunk of these on Amazon too.

One of the reasons I like shopping for Asian Beauty Products online is because of the English Translations. If there is not a translation on the website I can at least copy and past it to an online translator. So no more surprises. They also have very cute packaging.

Masks that bring Moisture.

The reason I bought these types of mask is because I have been doing a lot of exfoliating lately. I am trying to bring my blemished skin to the surface so I can get rid of it. To combat any dry patches I am using lots of hydrating masks. But there is a wide variety of options with these masks. Anything you need for you skin you can find it. Now if they actually work that is a whole other question.

So here are the masks (from left to right):

NARUKO Rose & Botanic HA Aqua Cubic Hydrating Mask (1pc) here

Rosette Hello Kitty Moist & Lift Sheet Mask (1 pc) Review here

Baviphat Apple AC Therapy Sleeping Pack 100g (apple looking item)

Cogit W Lift Repair Mask Step 2 Moisturizing(1pc) Review here

Sexylook x Hello Kitty Ultra Moisturizing Pink Sakura Double Lifting Mask (7pc) Review here

What I like about these Asian Face Masks is that you don’t have to wash your face afterwards. You place the mask on a clean and toned face. It stays on from 15 to 20 minutes. Afterwards you rub in the excess product into your skin. If you have extra excess I like to rub that into my hands and arms. One of these things is not like the others. The Baviphat Apple AC Therapy Sleeping Pack is a mask you put on at night and wash off in the morning. It says it brings moisture to the skin while the fruit acids gently exfoliate. I can’t wait to use it. I hope it works. It also smells like apples.

When I finally use one I will be sure to let you know!

Until Next time
