Onde baixar, onde comprar, onde, onde, cade?

Olha…para ser honesto, devo indicar a você o site da ableton www.ableton.com , mas como a realidade aqui no meu pais é outra vou te indicar tambem mais um site, www.avaxhome.ws (be wise, if you get a profit, pay for it too).

Oque o ableton live faz?!

- Olha pra ser sincero, só falta servir cafezinho porque esse programa faz tudo e mais um pouco…Completo do começo ao fim com qualidade!
Mas no contexto aqui empregado vamos utiliza-lo como “SEQUENCIADOR”, ele é a base de toda a gravação em software em um estudio virtual.

Então é só baixar o ableton e pronto posso sair tocando igual ao ASTRIX?
- Muita hora nessa calma meu jovem padawan, pra utilizar mesmo os recursos que esse software pode nos oferecer, precisamos de alguns “apetrechos”.

2.1 Plug-ins – VST – VSTi
PLUG-IN como o proprio nome diz, algo “plugado” em outro algo.

VST -
- Se voce ja ouviu musica eletronica deve saber oque a palavra “EFEITOS”, significa. Então VST’s são programas manipuladores e geradores de toda sorte de efeitos imaginaveis, assim como equalização, modulação, masterização e outros dispositivos de “ação”.

VSTi -
Vulgo Sintetizadores Virtuais
- Olha, isso aqui é a alma do negócio. Com esses programinhas voce adquire em sua maquina, a capacidade de reproduzir (atualmente, com grande fidelidade) tons, timbres, instrumentos variados, sob diversas condições, e diversas variaveis.

2.2 Samples –
Não confundam com Samplers!
- Samples são toda sorte de sons, barulhos, ruidos, chiados, vozes, efeitos, e etc… já gravados em um arquivo de audio ou similar.
Amplamente utilizados por produtores de audio de toda sorte, não apenas os voltados a musica eletronica.

2.3 Softwares Auxiliares -
- Vulgo, SOUNDFORGE e outros.

Saw a few movies this weekend along with friends over a glass of rum and coke!

The first one was Underworld – The rise of the Lycans directed by Patrick Tatopoulos which is the third installment of the Underworld series. Running for over 90 minutes, the movie is basically a love story revolving around the feud between the Lycans and the Vampires. The general plot is quite similar to many movies before this one – A love story between 2 people of different races which is forbidden and war that follows, a war for love and for revenge.  Its quite an action packed movie, though I thought it was a little short on ‘character development’ – jumps right into the action. I guess people who have watched the previous two editions would have had no problem with it. Maybe I should watch those two myself as well!

And on a side note – I thought Rhona Mitra looked pretty awesome in the movie.

The second movie I saw was Astrix and the Vikings . A movie based on Astrix is never to be missed and nor was this one. Though I must say the movie lacked the storyline but it made up for its animations, the punchlines and the goofy humour. Was a good laugh this one!

The UK tour 2009: Birmingham 30.01.09 & London 31.01.09

Astrix, rated the second best Psy-trance DJ on DJmags hotlist, is playing two live sets in the UK at the start of next year. The all-night gigs will be supported by Dejavoo & Counterculture (both playing live sets) and Compressor and Chris Liberator.

Having found trance music back in 1997 Astrix quickly developed his style in the genre and has since become one of the leading lights of the Psy-trance movement after moving more completely to the psy-style in 2001. Ascending melodies and driving, hard-hitting bass lines are key signatures to Astrix’s style and they’ll guarantee a night of pure, unadulterated dance.

The Birmingham gig is being held at The Q Club and is the first Astrix event to be held in the city. In London, the gig is going ahead at the IndigO2 – the very intimate live music venue at the O2 arena. They’ll be three rooms of music, chill out zones, nuts visuals and laser shows, as well as the chance to see 40 Djs at work!

If you love your Psy-trance, breakbeat, techno, psy-breaks and future electronic it’s an unmissable event.

Como Irina também ama o gaulês, fica decidido que o vencedor dos Jogos Olímpicos se casará com a princesa.

Dispostos a ajudar o amigo –e, é claro, a derrotar os romanos–, Asterix (Clovis Cornillac), Obelix (Gérard Depardieu), o druida Panoramix (Jean-Pierre Cassel) e o cãozinho Ideiafix também partem para a Grécia. Lá, terão que descobrir uma maneira de vencer a competição.

Dirigido por Frédéric Forester e Thomas Langman, a aventura é uma adaptação da série de histórias em quadrinhos homônima de René Goscinny e Albert Uderzo, criadores dos personagens.

O consagrado ator francês Alain Delon faz participação especial no papel do imperador Júlio César. Astros do esporte, como o ex-piloto de F-1 Michael Schumacher, o jogador de futebol Zinédine Zidane, a tenista Amelie Mauresmo e o jogador de basquete Tony Parker também aparecem no filme.
