Members of ATA received an e-mail wrap-up of the conference this morning, with links to the photo slideshow, postconference news, and the video below. I think it does a nice job highlighting the benefits of being an ATA member. If you remember, I mentioned that Amanda was wired for sound at our session for First Time Attendees, and she is featured towards the end of the video. If you have a sharp eye you might see me briefly standing there as well, but my “Warning: Translator with an Attitude” bag is featured prominently. Enjoy!

Idag började dagen på en gång. Halv åtta ringde jobbet och undrade om jag kunde jobba idag men jag sa att jag kände mig lite för upptagen för det. På eftermiddagen ringde de igen och då  frågade de om jag kunde imorgon istället och då tackade jag ja. Jag hann ju klart med allt förberedande inför onsdagslektionerna idag så det var inga problem. I alla fall, tillbaka till morgonen. Tio minuter efter att jag lagt på samtalet från jobbet ringde det igen. Den här gången var det fönsterkillarna som undrade om de kunde komma och byta listerna i fönstren. Så det var bara att skita i alla chanser av någon slags sovmorgon för oss båda och gå upp. Så nu har vi nya dammlister i alla fönster och ventilerna är påslagna (de var av förut som de inte bör vara och det är därför listerna torkat sönder och fönstren dragit så!) och redan känner vi skillnad på värmen inomhus. Nu kan man sitta utan raggsockar!

Efter lunch åkte vi för att få vaccinationen. Bara en av oss grät och det var William som inte ens fick någon spruta. Han började gråta när den manliga sköterskan gav mig sprutan. Han kanske grät för min skull, haha.
Nu har vi precis ätit middag och jag fick tvätta William efteråt idag, han har nämligen kommit på att det är jätteskojigt att dra händerna i det lilla hår han har. Efter att han ätit en hel middag med samma händer. Mamma tycker inte det är lika skoj med lasagnehår, men så länge han äter så tvättar jag gärna.

Ikväll ska jag läsa klart Den förlorade symbolen, den senaste av Dan Brown som jag läst med glädje den senaste veckan. Det har alltså varit en bra, upptagen, men relativt lugn och välplanerad måndag idag. Hur har er varit?

Jag är så duktig, otroligt duktig. Har på ungefär en vecka ätit 625 gram pepparkakor. Fick en fet burk av min mor när hon var här med såna där riktigt tunna pepparkakor som man bara maler ner i käften. Och nu är den snart slut. Enligt mina beräkningar är den helt slut imorgon.
Har också kommit på under mina svullodagar med pepparkaksburken hur gott det luktar om pepparkakor. Ska fixa mig en pepparkaksparfym. Saffran luktar också jävligt gott. Ska fixa ihop någon doft av det där. Sen ska jag lansera min “Christmas night”-parfym väldigt exklusivt  och bli stenrik (ja mina tankebanor har blivit en tioårings).

Jag har alltså ätit 625 gram pepparkakor innan december ens börjat, äcklas lite av mig själv. Men pepparkakor är i stort sett det enda som är gott som hör till julen. Julbord är totalt vidrigt.

I entered the trucking industry in 2004 – green to the world, though not completely to the lifestyle. I’d always been somewhat of a gypsy having left my home state of Massachusetts to seek out something bigger a world away in Tennessee. I had an idea of what to expect – I had been grilled by friends who had been there, done that and even spent a night helping a local driver run a grueling shift through the mountains of North Carolina and Eastern Tennessee after a long day at work. I thought I knew what I was getting into – but I ended up blindsided by the process that is the student truck driver industry.

I’ll be honest, it’s been five years now, almost six. I’ve never forgotten the hell that marked my first year as a driver, but it’s not something I dwell upon everyday. That is until I started poking around Twitter and stumbled across @TruckerDesiree. I hadn’t given much thought to those early days other than to warn folks like me about what they could *really* expect out there in the machine. That is until I saw a report done by Dan Rather on Desiree’s story (along with the second part here), and found myself engrossed and remembering those early days like they were yesterday.

I went into trucking when nothing else was going right. Truth be told it was trucking, or the military because selling parts in small town Tennessee just wasn’t paying even my minimal bills on a singlewide mobile home tucked in the middle of nowhere. I always loved travel, adventure, and had absolutely no problem spending large amounts of time alone.

I enrolled in a large carrier’s CDL “academy” because I had waited so long to make the leap into driving that I couldn’t afford to take the course offered by the same technical college that enabled me to become certified in diesel mechanics. I had only what I could put into my bags, and a few boxes of irreplaceables that a friend let me store in the top of his closet. Three weeks, they told me, and I’d have a newly minted CDL. What they didn’t tell me is that I’d be pencil whipped through backing, given only minimal time behind the wheel on the highway (and shockingly, most of that was as a bobtail – no trailer attached for those not from the industry) and tested by the same people charged to “teach” me. The CDL test? 8 minutes long on the road – after all, they had a hundred of us to do that night. There were two shifts as well – daytime and nights. I graduated with my license and absolutely terrified because I had no idea what the hell I was doing out there, but I was bound to the same company that trained me for the next year of my life.

My orientation? Over two hundred hopeful drivers. You read that right, two HUNDRED. Some failed verification paperwork that in my opinion, even as a new driver, was something that should have been completed before arriving at the company by recruiting. Some failed the drug screen. But by and large, most of us made it through and ended up waiting on trainers. I was one of the lucky ones – my trainers (all three of them) had no less than 5 years OTR experience each, though at the time I was told I could be paired with someone who had never driven his/her first winter yet. I should probably mention this was January and weather was ugly. I survived my training period after getting stranded in Syracuse, NY by a trainer who tried to get me to overspeed the truck beyond the posted safe speed limit in the snow and ice because another truck was going too slow for his liking – his speed? 5mph below posted safe speed for dry conditions. My final trainer was called the “last chance” trainer for “problem” trainees. My company’s opinion? They had never received a complaint about my trainer before, so I was wrong – but they would be forgiving and give me one last chance.

I survived my six weeks of training – which ended up closer to eight with the time spent waiting for another trainer. Honestly? I don’t attribute my success in this industry to much more than luck.  I have a head on my shoulders, yes, and I followed by gut.  But in the end I got lucky like so many are not.  I got a decent final trainer, I got a wonderful first driver manager who had been out on the road for a few years and who actually cared about his drivers.  He was always available to me, even after hours if I had a question or problem I felt I couldn’t ask elsewhere.

Many other new drivers are not as lucky and it doesn’t matter if you’re a man or a woman.

Watch Dan Rather’s report – it’s unbiased and frighteningly true.  I also find it amazingly amusing that one truck driver has the ATA backing down and cowering in a corner unable to face allegations that all of us in the industry know are true.

I worked most recently inside a company, and my main duty was to work with the new drivers fresh out of school.  I am proud to have worked for them because I truly believe in the program they have in place.  Is it perfect? No. Is it better than what I, and the majority of drivers went through? Oh God yes.  I’ve seen what these CDL mills have churned out, and it made my stomach raw.  Most of these drivers were nowhere near ready to take the wheel, even with a seasoned hand next to them.  My job was to give them the foundation of success and flatbedding, and hope to God it took before they got back in for testing.  I have taught everything from mirrors to basic shifting to logbooks and reading maps, cautioned trainers and even as an atheist I have prayed that they would somehow learn everything they were supposed to know before they got to me and their trainer.  Sometimes they did, sometimes they didn’t.

But there is truth to what the drivers say.  My problems were dismissed until someone finally looked into a major carrier’s CDL school’s testing procedures and the State of Tennessee started suspending CDL licenses left and right.  I was one of the few lucky ones who skated by on the edges, fully convinced my license would be suspended as well after years on the road with a spotless safety record.  There is truth here, buried in countless corporate lawyers’ posturing and press releases by PR people.  Drivers deserve to be heard because the underhanded dealings are not just limited to the CDL mills and it’s these bad practices that overshadow all the great drivers and great companies and schools out there.

Le notizie di questi ultimi giorni, certamente, non sono state delle migliori. Discussione in Senato del ddl che prevede la riforma dei processi e la reintroduzione dello staff leasing (cancellata dal Governo Prodi). Mancanza di democrazia nella rappresentanza dei diritti ed interessi dei lavoratori nella contrattazione collettiva. Forte volontà del “più forte” da voler tornare ad un contratto individuale. Fondi tagliati alle regioni per comprare libri; scuola “sotto attacco”, luogo chiave ed ultimo presidio di democrazia. Luogo di tagli alle risorse ed al personale. Personale che manca in seguito alla sforbiciata di insegnanti, insegnanti di sostegno, ATA, ridotti nell’organico; ATA come i tecnici, che quando ci sono, magari non possono operare come potrebbero e, o, vorrebbero, perché “aziende esterne”, si occupano e “invadono campi” appartenenti allo Stato, non ad aziende “esternalizzate”. Quindi, figure professionali validissime, stipendiati dallo stato, ma che si trovano nelle condizioni di non poter operare “liberamente” e poco valorizzate. Scuola come casa, dove insegnare, collaborare, sarà per una generazione “a lavoro zero”. Una classe di età fra i 16 ed i 34 anni è la più penalizzata dalla recessione, ci ricordava un giornale lunedì. Disoccupati: più giovani che vecchi. Per coloro che non avessero avuto la possibilità di un ripasso, dal terzo trimestre del 2008 ad oggi sono andati in fumo piu’ di 560 mila posti di lavoro. Qui nel nostro spazio web, dove sono giunte tante domande sulla richiesta di disoccupazione, è utile ricordare che nei primi nove mesi dell’anno sono state formulate, all’ente preposto, oltre un milione e mezzo di domande per accedere all’indennità di disoccupazione. Per fortuna che la “federazione”, e Rifondazione comunista, hanno messo al centro il lavoro. Il lavoro è un tema importante, ma, insieme ad esso, anche la moralità della politica.
Abbiamo tutte le informazioni, l’esperienza, il passato, e ancora, sovente, ci si chiede il perché di una determinata situazione. Perché, un collaboratore di un assessorato in Piemonte deve prendere cifre stratosferiche in un periodo in cui molti non hanno lavoro, lo hanno perso, o hanno smesso, delusi, di cercarlo? E allo stesso tempo, perché un ingegnere valido e competente da “mille euro” al mese non è messo nelle condizioni di poterlo fare, perché le stesse competenze vengono chieste “all’esterno”? E’ giusto concedere contratti con cifre astronomiche? E’ giusto pagare un’azienda quando ho un ingegnere “in casa” all’altezza di svolgere il compito richiesto? Questo è il periodo dei diritti: dei diritti sul lavoro, del lavoro. Ma spesso, quando ci vengono poste domande, sui concorsi pubblici, della provincia, (concorso come premessa per un futuro lavoro) del perché ci sono “corsie preferenziali”, e perché continuano a sussistere (nonostante grandi battaglie), ci comportiamo aggirando “la domanda” come se fosse quel morto fuori dal bar in una città italiana. La domanda la evitiamo. Perché? Non sappiamo dare una risposta? Non vogliamo darla? E’ il caso di Gibi, che continua a porre domande alla politica; è il caso di molti che si domandano come mai “alti compensi”, anche se io direi, spropositati compensi. Compagni, diamo una risposta ai tanti Gibi: altrimenti anche in questo modo, si perdono le elezioni. Caro Gibi, non pensare che con un articoletto si possa dare una soluzione ad una domanda, quella da te posta. Sicuramente però hai sollevato una richiesta di rappresentanza: hai aggregato intorno a te centinaia di persone con i tuoi identici interrogativi. Se qualcuno vuol capire….

Una de las mentes más privilegiadas del siglo XX, Albert Einstein, además de investigar también realizó reflexiones sobre cómo se han de afrontar los momentos y situaciones de crisis. En algunas de ellas comentó: “Es en la crisis que nace la inventiva, los descubrimientos y las grandes estrategias”, o “Es en la crisis donde aflora lo mejor de cada uno, porque sin crisis todo viento es caricia”.

Y es que la condición del ser humano siempre se ha caracterizado por sacar fortaleza de la adversidad para poder superarse o superar situaciones difíciles. Pero esta condición no es innata de todos/as, existen excepciones, pues hay quienes creyéndose mentes aventajadas en situaciones de normalidad, cuando han de afrontar problemas o coyunturas complicadas demuestran “poca altura de miras”, o más bien cierto “espesamiento del pensamiento”.

Digo esto porque muy recientemente se ha celebrado en Córdoba una reunión entre Aspromonte, sindicato mayoritario en CajaSur, y la Asociación de Trabajadores Autónomos ATA, que generó bastante expectación ya que ese mismo día el Banco de España le daba un ultimátum a dicha entidad financiera para fusionarse o ser intervenida.

En este encuentro, del que se hacen eco los medios de comunicación de la provincia, según ATA, se sacaron como conclusiones que el proceso “es claramente una absorción”, ya que en una fusión “no hay perdedores”. Y que con el planteamiento actual hay “dos perdedores, como son Córdoba y los trabajadores de Cajasur”, a los que ATA respaldará. A juicio de ATA, “ni Córdoba puede soportar la pérdida de más de 1.000 empleos, ni el lujo de perder la identidad de su caja”. 

Y después de tanta expectación me pregunto… ¿qué aportan estas afirmaciones a la solución del “problemón” de CajaSur? Porque desde luego las frases no son de romperse la cabeza aportando soluciones, más bien confunden…

Primero se dice que en una fusión no hay perdedores (eso es cuando las dos entidades van en igualdad de condiciones), pero la verdad es que CajaSur  ya de por sí ha perdido, pues de lo contrario no tendría la necesidad de fusionarse, o de ser “absorbida”, o de ser intervenida. Por lo tanto donde caiga CajaSur, cae un problema y no una “perita en dulce”. Y evidentemente ese problema no puede afectar a la solvencia de la otra entidad o entidades, de ahí la necesidad de un plan de negocio previo.

Con lo que si estoy de acuerdo es que quién pierde al final son las familias, los desempleados, los autónomos y las empresas cordobesas porque la situación de CajaSur está contribuyendo a que la reducción de los créditos al sector privado en nuestra provincia sea la mayor de Andalucía.

También  estoy de acuerdo en que Córdoba no puede soportar la pérdida de más empleo y que hay que darle la mejor solución a los trabajadores. Pero tampoco se puede soportar que los máximos dirigentes de la Caja, a los que no cita ATA, hayan puesto al borde del precipicio más de 1.000 puestos de trabajo, o el triple si no hay fusión.

Por lo que respecta a que Córdoba no puede soportar el lujo de perder la identidad de su Caja. La verdad es que ha sido un lujo que CajaSur haya modificado su razón de ser y en vez de hacer negocio prestando dinero a la sociedad cordobesa se haya dedicado a la especulación inmobiliaria, convirtiéndose en la Caja de los constructores, lo que la ha llevado finalmente a tan lamentable situación y a poner en jaque a más de 3.000 familias ¡menudo lujo de identidad…!

Pero vuelvo al principio… para solucionar el problema de CajaSur ahora ha de ser el momento de mayor avidez mental, de la altura de miras, de buscar una estrategia, de inventar para que la caja siga prestando un servicio a la sociedad cordobesa en función de su razón de ser, porque para “espesamientos” ya tenemos los de quienes han puesto en “grave riesgo” a la Caja.

Às  20 horas, do dia 11, do mês de setembro, do ano de 2009, reuniu-se um grupo de alunos representantes de cada turma e escolhida pelos seus pares, do Colégio Estadual “Machado de Assis” Ensino Médio e Profissional, do município de Sertanópolis, com a finalidade de formar uma Comissão PRÓ-GRÊMIO.Na pauta da reunião foram discutidos e definidos  a necessidade de se elaborar um estatuto e organizar a Assembleia Geral dos estudantes , que terá como finalidade o seguinte: 1- esclarecer aos estudantes o que é um Grêmio Estudantil e qual o seu objetivo,2-aprovar o estatuto elaborado pela comissão PRÓ-GRÊMIO, 3- formar a comissão eleitoral.Na oportunidade esteve presente a Sra Mariluz Barboza Zanin Diretora auxiliar da escola que reforçou aos presentes a importância de se formar um grêmio atuante.  A Comissão PRÓ-GRÊMIO, que se encarregará de elaborar o Estatuto e organizar a Assembleia Geral  ficou definido  com os seguintes alunos: Tatiane Rafaela Sette , Bruno Henrique Perera,Tiago Junior da Costa,  Otávio Augusto de Souza, Roger Augusto Pacanhan, Gabriela Fernandes Costa .A reunião foi presidida pela jovem Tatiane Rafaela Sette , que não tendo nada mais a tratar encerrou a  presente reunião.Esta ata foi lavrada por mim  Gabriela Fernandes Costa secretária designada para  a reunião

I ett slag så förändrades vår tillvaro väldigt drastiskt.
Nu är vårt hem som ett litet “Knarkarkvartens servicehus” där vi ägnar dygnets alla timmar åt att ta hand om Sparven.
Vi turas om att sova, turas om att göra allt.

Och oroar oss för potatisar (att de ska komma upp) och räknar minuter, decilitrar och piller.

I natt såg det ljust ut, för då sov han som en stock sex timmar i sträck. Och började dagen med att äta och dricka.
Sedan kom eftermiddagen och då stod vi på ruta ett igen. Då var det lika illa som igår helt plötsligt och han fick inte behålla något.

Och nu är han den minsta sparv man kan hitta på denna jord, har inte ett gram kvar på kroppen i reserv och allt är på en tunn skör tråd. Så vi fick sätta oss ner och försöka ta ett beslut. Ska vi ta honom till kliniken igen eller ska han stanna här? Väga för och nackdelar. Till slut bestämde vi tillsammans med honom att vi ger det till imorgon bitti. “Men då måste du samarbeta, unge man”.

Och det funkade bra med lite hot om kliniker och sprutor, för sedan frågade han efter fisk. Och nu äter han världens minsta portioner en gång i timmen ungefär.

Och så får vi ser hur det går.
Man vet aldrig.

Vi peppar och planerar för att han ska bli piggare.
Men det är en så tunn tråd att den nästan inte syns stundtals.

Men det ska gå.

Tempest in a teapot (in American English) or storm in a teacup (in British English) is an idiom meaning a small event that has been exaggerated out of proportion.

One of my friends forwarded me the following ad last night with the comment “Marian’s making the rest of us look bad. Would love to know how she pulled that off!” I read the ad, but did not give it much mind. Little did I know it would blow up overnight as I slept.

34,501 words. 10 hours. One translator.
Sound impossible?

I tweeted that I wondered how she managed to pull it off and went to bed. I woke up this morning to find that the ad has generated a lively discussion on Twitter and on ProZ.com.

I know Marian personally and know that she is an extremely capable and talented translator. She is also very generous with her time and advice, presenting on growing your business and earning a six-figure salary at recent ATA conferences. I never doubted for a minute that she achieved this feat and was proud of her accomplishment, as I’m sure she was. Trados cites her as being a translator and trainer, but everyone in the industry knows that she is also a former ATA President (and did a fine job).

One comment in the ProZ.com discussion really gave me pause. The author took offense that an ATA executive or former ATA president was using their clout to advertise for a translation environment tool. I can understand taking pause and wondering if she was compensated. However, Paul Filkin, the SDL Trados representative, responded to this by saying “It is comments like this that I find extremely insulting and completely unwarranted. I can assure you that this translator received no compensation whatsoever for providing this quote.” It seems as if people are making assumptions and jumping to conclusions without talking to those involved.

I don’t know about you all, but I have better things to do with my day today than get all up in arms about a person who volunteered several years of their time to serve on the ATA Board and travel extensively for two years as President of ATA – for no compensation whatsoever.

Everyone talks about the ATA Board as if it is “us against them.” That isn’t the case. Everyone on the ATA Board is just like you and me – and no one gets compensated for taking time out of their undoubtedly busy days to respond to a tempest in a teapot like this one or just to make decisions for the good of the members. ATA Board members are all volunteers and could be you in a few years!

Sure, it was tacky of SDL Trados to advertise using a claim that most translators could never dream of achieving. There isn’t a whole lot of repetition in most of the texts I translate (but I do enjoy it when there is!). Marian, on the other hand, translates financial documents, and the file in question was an Excel file with lots of repetition throughout the text. However, we translators should investigate more instead of getting all hot under the collar and jumping on the outrage bandwagon. I for one am glad I found the ProZ.com discussion and read Paul’s explanations. Everyone should just simmer down and enjoy the long holiday weekend!

Jag tänkte passa på att lägga upp lite bilder som min kära duo-dansare Elle skickat till mig i från helgen. Den första föreställer mig och Äddä… Vi konverserar lite casual över en kopp java…..

Vi hamnade i en het diskussion och Äddä stod på sig medan han blickade drömmande mot taklampan som glittrade förföriskt i ångorna från nygräddade croissanter…

Vi avslutade det hela med ett ack så charmigt pose-kort.

Nästa fik; Innergården 1891. Elles latte fastnade på bild. Trots hutlösa priser och förbannat mycket folk satt vi där och gaggade en stund.

Senare på kvällen skulle Elle kila iväg och se lord Xon och The Donies på M.S Medvind. Hon hade gjort sig snygg för kvällen och Äddä passade även på att posea lite här med

At the reccent OTTIAQ Conference, the keynote speaker – Pierre Isabelle of the National Research Center Canada – talked about machine translation (MT) and suggested new approaches that may allow translators to incorporate MT into their work. The fact that the conference organizers chose to open a conference attended mainly by freelance translators with a talk on MT ties in nicely with my efforts to establish communication between “human translators” and MT developers, which until very recently was virtually non-existent. In my role as the President of ATA (American Translators Association), I reached out to Laurie Gerber, then the President of IAMT (International Association for Machine Translation) and also Past President of AMTA (Association for Machine Translation in the Americas), and we agreed that it would be good to have MT representatives give presentations at translation association events and vice versa, which we also successfully implemented. Among other things, the AMTA Summit will be collocated with the ATA Conference in Denver in 2010. The outcomes of the dialogue that ensued were quite interesting. For example, MT developers learned that translators are not interested in post-editing of MT output, and translators learned that human translation versus MT is not a zero-sum proposition (where more MT equals less work for translators); rather, it creates markets that have not existed before. In other words, translators should view MT as an opportunity rather than a threat. By the same token, MT developers should not expect translators to post-edit; this will be done by a new breed of linguists, and translators will continue to do what they enjoy the most and what they are good at: translating.

Mevlana gibi evimiz açık herkese

ATA tasarısı Turkiye ile Avustralya arasında bir bağlantı olacak. Yapılan her şey bir isim altında olacak.. Ve onun altında da gruplar…. Nedeni ise, buradaki sunumlarımda interneti kullanarak yapacak olması… kişilere ve firmalara.

Kurumsal bir organizasyon yapısı gibi davranıp, amatörce düşünülmeli, bilimci gibi analiz etmeli. Bunları zaman içinde hep beraber öğreneceğiz.

Hatalar yapacağız. Birbirimizin arkasını toplayacağız ve daha ileriye gideceğiz. Bilim, sanat ve teknoloji gelecek, ve gelecekte şu an.

Uzun süreli bir ekip olmak istiyorsak… Maalesef dağınık ve iyi organize olmamış ekiplerin yaşama süresi yaklaşık 3 yıl… Bizim tasarımız ise 4 yıllık ?:)) yani sağlam bir organizasyon yapısı oluşturulmalı.

Bazı firmaların ihtiyaçları belirlenecek, buraya gelecek olan firmalar projeleri inceleyecekler.

2012′ de konumuz gelecek teknolojileri ve yaşam şartlarına uyum…. ve 2011′de başlayan ve en çok ilgi gören bölümleri burada da devam edecek.

Bunu toplamda 4 şenlikten oluşacak şekilde düşündüm. 2013 ile 2014′ü siz düşünün…. ve şunu aklınızdan çıkarmayın, “neden olmasın! ” aklınıza gelen her şeyi yazın.

Biliyorsunuz TÜBİTAK`taki düşünce hakları irtibat bürosundan haklarınızın korumasını alıyorsunuz. Buradakiler için de buradan hazırlanan yazıyı bana e-posta atanlara yollamaya başladım. Benimle olan yazışmalarınızda koruma altında olacak.

Genel amaç: Türkiye`mizin bir dünya ülkesi olmasını ve tüm bilim heveslilerini ve sanatı Anadolu`da yeniden bir araya getirmek. Dostça, ileriye bakarak yaşamak.

Biliyor muydunuz? Eğer Atatürk olmasaydı Avustralyalılar şu anda İngiltere himayesinde olacaklardı. Avustralyalı`lar bu yüzden Türklerle yapılan Çanakkale Savaşı’nı burada törenlerle, özgürlüklerini kazanmalarını kutluyorlar her sene.

Hmm, bajssex… vad finns det att säga om det? Vissa gillar det tydligen, å andra inte… jag personligen tillhör det sistnämnda… jag må vara en underlig person, men även jag har mina gränser för hur långt jag kan gå

Men, dom som gillar det… vart ser dom tjusningen i att bajsa på varandra, smeta in varandra i skiten och till och med äta det päcklet i vissa fall XD ????

Jag säger som jag alltid brukar säga… Det finns fölk till allt!

Men är det nån som har testat bajssex som läser detta? som kanske kan berätta om upplevelsen, och gärna förklara, varför, VARFÖR denne ens testade det? XD Jag är nyfiken hur dessa människor är funtade…

Har dom vart med om något traumatiskt under uppväxten som gett dom en förvrängd bild av hur sex ska va? kanske kom dom på deras föräldrar sittandes å skita på varandra i sovrummet när dom trodde ungarna låg och sov?

Ja som ni märker har jag många frågor gällande detta underliga sexuella böjelsen…

Men eftersom detta är en skum blogg, så kommer jag ta upp många skumma å bizarra ämnen som jag har funderingar över, å första inlägget råka bli om bajssex

Men just nu kommer jag inte på mer att säga om detta bizarra ämne så jag lägger nert just nu… men ni får gärna komma med era tankar och funderingar över detta…

Lets talk about shit!

Após a 1ª Reunião, foram publicadas novas notícias do MVL na Folha de SP e rádios CBN e Jovem Pan. Foram então realizadas trocas de emails entre alguns participantes do MVL que suscitaram a segunda reunião, com participação de 15 pessoas, que tratou de: (i) forma de organização do MVL, sub-divisão em comitês; e (ii) realização de ações de curto prazo. Vale mencionar a presença de um pai de aluno, oferecendo ajuda com sua equipe de televisão virtual. Aguardem!

A – Sobre o Movimento: Ficou estabelecido que a atuação do grupo, dado o número de participantes e de atividades a serem realizadas, deve ser dividido em Comitês, sendo que cada comitê terá seus coordenadores.

Abaixo versão Resumida*

1. Comitê Especial: (i) Elaborar relatório mapeando todas as causas da crise e sua relevância, para que sejam propostas as devidas soluções; e (ii) Buscar estratégias para captação de receitas acessórias.

2. Comitê Marketing: (i) Criar campanha de marketing o Colégio; (ii) Captação de Patrocínio; e (iii) Sites do Liceu e Viva Liceu.

3. Comitê Sociocultural: (i) Promover eventos culturais, esportivos, sociais, acadêmicos e outros (Olimpíadas Ex-Liceu; Pedacinhos Especial, Mostras Culturais, etc); e (ii) Propor projeto de reformulação do Teatro Grande Otelo, visando torná-lo uma referência  cultural paulistana.  

4. Comitê Alumni: (i) Renovar a Associação de Ex-alunos; (ii) Resgatar passado histórico do Liceu e dos ex-alunos, reunir fotos e arquivos; e (iii) Documentário Viva Liceu.

5. Comitê Educacional: (i) Revisar a metodologia e propor melhorias, se necessário; e (ii) Ampliar e revisar Política de bolsas / Parceiras.

6. Comitê Comunicação: (i) Assessoria de Imprensa; (ii) Mailing / Newsletter / Clipping; e (iii) Administrar ferramentas de comunicação.

7. Comitê Geral: (i) Intermediar parceiras; (ii) Representar o MVL; e (iii) Coordenar Comitês.

B – Sobre as Ações Curtíssimas: Discutimos a realização de uma Festa dia 28.11, para mostrar que o Liceu está VIVO, em conjunto com a mostra cultural dos alunos. Foi criado um grupo de trabalho para organizar os detalhes dessa festa. Estamos precisando de patrocínio e de ajuda, e se puder contribuir, nos avisem por email. Em breve, divulgaremos todos os detalhes, mas adianto que haverá neste dia, como manifestação pública afetiva, o ABRAÇO AO LICEU, além de churrasco, esportes, música e artes. Outras ações para dezembro estão em pauta.

Movimento Viva Liceu

Na noite de 06/11 cerca de 230 pessoas, entre alunos, ex-alunos, pais e professores do Liceu Coração de Jesus, em São Paulo, se reuniram para debater a delicada situação da escola. A reunião foi motivada pela reportagem da Folha de S. Paulo (28/10), que denunciou a perda de alunos por causa da “cracolândia” que cerca a instituição.

A abertura da reunião foi feita pela Profª Vânia Gori, seguida das palavras de acolhida do diretor P. Benedito Spinosa, destacando que irá colaborar ativamente com o Movimento Viva Liceu (“MVL”). O Prof. Walter N. Martinez, um dos mentores do Movimento, leu testemunhos e mensagens de ex-alunos, vindas inclusive de outros países como Estados Unidos e Inglaterra, em adesão ao Liceu.

O ex-aluno Michel Porcino propôs oficialmente a criação do movimento Viva Liceu, enfatizando a importância da participação dos salesianos neste processo de revitalização, bem como a necessidade do compromisso e seriedade dos voluntários do MVL. Em seguida foi aberta a palavra e inúmeras pessoas falaram da importância da educação salesiana em suas vidas e do Liceu como lugar de crescimento dos jovens nos valores humanos. Entre tantos, falaram P. Mario, Professor Marinho, Antero Greco, Rafael (pai de aluno), e outros alunos, ex-alunos e ex-professores. Dina, da associação de moradores dos Campos Elíseos, ressaltou que “não podemos deixar de cobrar as autoridades pela segurança da entorno”. D. Antonia questionou como o Liceu poderia contribuir com a recuperação dos usuários, eventualmente fazendo algum trabalho psicossocial. Thiago do PSOL ofereceu auxílio para contatar deputados e a Comissão de Direitos Humanos da Câmara dos Deputados. Carlos, ex-aluno, ressaltou: “O Liceu precisa de alunos. Se cada um aqui indicar o Liceu para um aluno, ano que vem serão mais 200. Vamos iniciar a campanha: Traga um aluno para o Liceu!”. A mensagem que ficou de todos, ressaltada por um ex-professor, foi a de que o LICEU ESTÁ VIVO!

Como resultado da reunião, além da fundação do MVL, foi feito um abaixo-assinado com uma moção para ser entregue ao prefeito de São Paulo; também foi criado um grupo de trabalho na área de marketing, o qual já iniciou discussões, e surgiram propostas de organização de manifestações públicas como abraço ao prédio do Liceu e passeata. Foi iniciado um Concurso para elaboração do logo do MVL e todos os presentes foram cadastrados para futuro contato.

Embora ainda a dar os primeiros passos enquanto segmento estruturado, é justo afirmar-se que a Meetings Industry nacional – vulgo MI – parece estar no bom caminho. De uma forma geral, todas as regiões portuguesas e respectivos Convention Bureau e ARPT’s, as entidades públicas e privadas e os diversos players deste segmento, encaram a MI como um motor de desenvolvimento das economias regionais, e ao mesmo tempo um alvo de negócio rentável.

Tudo isto é assumido porque a MI é efectivamente um “fruto apetecido”, um produto altamente estratégico, seja para combater a sazonalidade de alguns destinos nacionais, seja para aumentar a notoriedade destes.

O nosso País tem, aliás, dado provas que não está nada mal neste segmento, e apresenta-se como mais competitivo em relação aos concorrentes. No ranking mundial da ICCA (International Congress & Congress and Convention Association) relativo a 2008, por exemplo, Portugal mantém o 15º lugar (o mesmo que em 2007), com um total de 145 eventos internacionais organizados. Os 145 eventos que tiveram lugar no nosso País no ano passado distribuíram‐se da seguinte forma pelo território nacional: 83 em Lisboa, 38 no Porto, 9 no Estoril, 8 no Funchal e 7 em Coimbra. A cidade de Lisboa (sendo a que representa a maioria da procura existente e a que tem maior visibilidade internacional), desceu quatro posições, ocupando actualmente o 10ª lugar ao ter organizado 83 eventos, segundo a ICCA. Note-se que o Porto neste mesmo ranking subiu da 56ª para a 39ª posição.

No relatório “Algarve Meeting Industry Market Survey”, a consultora ILM começa por fazer uma contextualização da MI em Portugal e cita um outro estudo que concluiu que o crescimento deste sector a nível nacional tem igualmente vindo a registar taxas de crescimento superiores às verificadas a nível mundial (8,4% contra 3,3%). Em 2006, a Organização Mundial do Turismo previu que num período de 10 anos, ou seja que em 2016, o volume de negócios gerado pelo segmento MI em Portugal poderia atingir um valor igual a 3.7 mil milhões de euros. Um estudo levado a cabo pela EIBTM e a The Right Solution Limited (”The Mood of the Market European Meetings Industry”), colocou Portugal na nona posição dos destinos mais utilizados para a organização de eventos durante o ano de 2008. A nível internacional, Portugal é também visto como um destino para viagens de incentivo, e não tanto como um destino para viagens corporate. Em abono da verdade, a Meetings Industry de Portugal está cada vez mais competitiva e é cada vez mais “o fruto apetecido”, não só ao nível nacional mas também internacional.

We had a really good turnout for our second annual blogger lunch, which offered bloggers and readers a chance to sit down and get to know each other during lunch on the first day. This year it was a little difficult to get everyone together, because I was unfamiliar with the layout of the hotel. Luckily I had specified the restaurant, The Stage Deli, ahead of time, so four readers were already there when we got there.

We had a total of 18 people attend our blogger lunch. Corinne McKay of Thoughts on Translation, Judy Jenner of Translation Times, Riccardo Schiaffino from About Translation, Tom Ellett of The Wor(l)d-Weary Translator, and Eve Lindemuth Bodeux of the Speaking of Translation podcast represented the bloggers. We had quite a few readers join us as well. I am not able to list you all, but I am so glad you all could join us. Unfortunately we weren’t able to all sit together, but I hope everyone enjoyed talking to those at their table.

The food was good. I had really looked forward to trying one of their famous monster sandwiches and taking the second half back to the hotel for later, but since the hotel didn’t offer a refrigerator in the room that wasn’t an option. I decided to order a bowl of matzoh ball soup and a half a corned beef sandwich instead, which was just right. We also really enjoyed the kosher dill pickles they served. I hope you all enjoyed yourselves as much as I did.

Este fin de semana viví la Lluvia de Estrellas de Risaterapia en Guadalajara, también visité a mi primo y conocí a Gaby, su mujer. De regreso a la Central de Autobuses, para tomar el camión a Monterrey, veníamos platicando mi novia y yo con ellos, acerca de identificar lo que te enamora ser, serlo y dejar que lo demás fluya.

Y es verdad!, es tan vital esa segunda parte, dejar que lo demás fluya, dejar que tu conexión con los demás te retroalimente de lo que creas, dejar que Dios haga su parte.

Cuando yo soy lo que disfruto ser, y al serlo vivo tanto el presente que me olvido de pasado y futuro, y me siento bendecido y vivo y simplemente soy y vibro y el tiempo parece detenerse y mi cuerpo se mueve en la armonía de lo que creo al ser… cuando eso vivo, estoy tan conectado a la fuente que todo lo demás se alinea, y todo se vuelve simple: sentir al 100% y declarar lo que requieres del exterior y disfrutar su llegada, y también su partida… y seguir sintiendo.

Y percibo la perfección de todo, de lo que es por su presencia, y de lo que no es, por su ausencia, y en ese admirar de la perfección agradezco, y en la declaración de lo que quiero vivir, también lo agradezco, y al agradecer lo que aún no es, lo traigo al presente y es.

Es genial entregarse a esa perfección, a ese ir y venir, a ese presente eterno que me llena y me vacía con tal perfección que siempre soy completo.

Y así el universo o la naturaleza o Dios, esa perfección de la que somos parte, me premia por ser lo que quiero ser, por honrar lo que es dentro de mí y dejarlo salir a que viva en mi cuerpo y mi premio es darme lo que pida para seguir siendo lo que soy, en la máxima expresión.

Entonces es tan fácil, ser lo que soy dentro, dejar que surja y que fluya, que sea color, baile, música y sentimientos, que sea creación y transformación, que sea belleza, que sea inspiración, y entregarme a lo que soy, con total fé y entrega.

Y al sentirme ser la máxima manifestación de todas las probabilidades, percibo que soy acompañado, que soy más de uno, que soy el amor, eterno y abundante, siempre presente y omnipresente, manifestado en la perfección de la vida y sus regalos.
