Corso Venezia con i tram

Non appena ho ricevuto questa fotografia ho pensato che probabimente avevo già visto i binari del tram in corso Venezia, ma me li ricordavo all’interno della cancellata dei giardini pubblici.

Non so datare esattamente questa immagine, ma così a naso mi sembrano gli anni ‘60 o forse me lo immagino solamente. Certo è che vedere questa immagine fa sorridere: immaginate il traffico attuale scorrere con metà della carreggiata impraticabile causa sede tramviaria…

A mio parere Milano con i tram, e con il loro tipico rumore, era più graziosa. Certo, la metropolitana rende tutto più facilmente raggiungibile e anche più velocemente, ma la mia osseravzione è puramente relativa ad una questione estetica e di “calore”.

E’ vero che oggi i “Sirio” e i Sirietto” sono più comodi, con l’aria condizionata, hanno molti posti a sedere in più per i passeggeri, ma le vecchie vetture serie 1900 avevano un loro fascino.

Se qualcuno lo sa, sarebbe interessante informare i lettori di questo blog sul percorso che i tram effettuavano all’epoca di questa fotografia, anche se immagino che in direzione centro girassero in via Palestro (dove ricordo la posa dei binari, e non mi ricordo di binari verso piazza San Babila) mentre in direzione opposta probabimente in piazza Oberdan (porta Venezia) potevano girare sia a sinistra in via Vittorio Veneto sia a destra verso viale Piave. Ripeto queste sono mie ipotesi, ma mi piacerebbe avere conferma da chi se lo ricorda, indicando possibilmente anche gli anni a cui fa riferimento.

Magari in qualche archivio ATM si potrebbe trovare la risposta…

Nota di Pao: E’ lecito dire che l’Atm è gestita da incapaci? Come fai a farti scoppiare in mano un servizio utile, aprezzato dalla cittadinanza, perchè non rispetti gli accordi con la società che garantisce il servizio stesso?

Il bike sharing è in crisi. Atm ha accumulato un debito di «ol­tre un milione di euro» con Cle­arChannel, la multinazionale americana che gestisce il servi­zio in appalto, e il buco di bilan­cio potrebbe portare alla risolu­zione del contratto e all’interru­zione del servizio. Il rischio, di­cono più fonti, è «più che con­creto »: bici pubbliche al palo. Il revisore dei conti di ClearChan­nel, per la prima volta, ha chie­sto chiarimenti al socio italia­no sul ritardo nella riscossione dei pagamenti e sulle previsio­ni di saldo: cioè, che succede a Milano?

ClearChannel, per al­tro, ha inviato ad Atm una deci­na di lettere in cinque mesi: per dire, ci sono dei problemi? Sì, due. Il primo riguarda i manifesti pubblicitari che do­vrebbero coprire i costi di ge­stione: il contratto prevede 206 impianti e quelli attivi, a un an­no dall’inaugurazione del siste­ma, sono solo 51 (più una ven­tina in via d’approvazione in Comune).

A compensazione del mancato incasso, Atm do­vrebbe versare a ClearChannel un canone mensile sostitutivo di circa 100 mila euro (Iva in­clusa), soldi che ancora non si sono visti. Secondo problema: la sperimentazione del servizio notturno. Costa 15 mila euro al mese, è stata prolungata fino al 31 dicembre e i fondi li ha anti­cipati ClearChannel. Atm, ad oggi, ha pagato 2,4 milioni per software , stazioni e mezzi. Una rete di 100 parcheggi in­formatizzati nel centro-città, come a Parigi. Il Velib’ di Mila­no si chiama BikeMi, è stato av­viato nel novembre del 2008, si muove su 1.340 bici e pedala con 12.950 abbonati.

In questi giorni d’autunno vero, con tem­perature sotto i dieci gradi, so­no state prelevate tra le 3.500 e le 3.800 biciclette al giorno, tan­te, «segno che il servizio funzio­na ed è apprezzato». Le «preoc­cupazioni», trapela da Clear- Channel, sono esclusivamente economiche: la multinazionale è quotata, deve certificare il bi­lancio 2009 e un milione di eu­ro di rosso pesa, eccome. La partita del bike sharing è stata seguita, fin dalla gestazio­ne, dall’ex assessore comunale alla Mobilità, Edoardo Croci.

La delega è passata nei giorni scorsi nelle mani di Maurizio Cadeo, titolare di Decoro urba­no e Verde. Un cambio coinciso con la programmazione della «fase 2» di BikeMi: il servizio delle due ruote in condivisione dovrebbe essere esteso fuori dalla Cerchia dei Bastioni, fino alla linea della filoviaria 90/91, arrivando a toccare nodi ferro­viari periferici e poli universita­ri (Iulm e Bocconi). In totale: 170 nuove stazioni larghe, a 33 stalli, e un parco di 5 mila bici­clette.

Il futuro del bike sharing sarà deciso questa settimana, a Palazzo Marino: Letizia Moratti ne ha fatto un punto qualifican­te della sua politica ambientale e vuole investire ulteriormente nel progetto. Ma bisogna trova­re i soldi, e presto.

Dal 3 dicembre 2008, L’Azienda Trasporti Milanesi ha aggiunto alla sua offerta un servizio di bike sharing chiamato BikeMe.

Il sistema è lo stesso già sperimentato in varie città in giro per il mondo: con la sottoscrizione di un abbonamento si ha la possibilità di utilizzare temporaneamente una bicicletta fornita dalla stessa Atm.

Alcuni punti di distribuzione, sparsi per la città, permettono di prenderne una e di lasciarla, al termine dell’utilizzo, in un altro qualsiasi di questi stessi punti.

La prendi in un punto, la molli in un altro.

La prima mezzora è gratuita, poi si inizia a pagare.

L’intento è quello di stimolarne l’utilizzo per brevi spostamenti, coadiuvando, magari, gli altri già esistenti mezzi pubblici.

Bene, bravi.

L’idea è di quelle buone, non rivoluzionaria, ma giustamente copiata.

La classica cosa da Paese vero, roba che dalle nostre parti non si vede facilmente.

Un’idea che varrebbe la pena di essere supportata.

E si sa, noi di NWTF siamo tremendamente attenti al rispetto dell’ambiente.

Già, ma come pubblicizzare un’iniziativa di questo genere?

Il Comune di Milano ci sta provando, ci mette del suo, così come Atm.

Il risultato migliore, al momento, è questo:

La bicicletta non è un nuovo mezzo di trasporto, esisteva già.

Ed anche il bike sharing esisteva già.

Occorre dare una mano, insomma.

Negli ultimi anni, l’utilizzo della bicicletta è diventata una scelta sempre più simile ad una vera e propria moda e, come tale, ha attirato su di sé le attenzioni di chi, su di un fenomeno di questo tipo, è in grado di speculare.

C’è chi ha la volontà di dare visibilità a questa tendenza ed, infatti, le biciclette sono sempre più protagoniste di festival, video, film, eventi di vario genere, competizioni.

Osservando le bici dell’Atm parcheggiate fuori dal Parco Sempione un’idea ci è balzata in testa: chissà come si comporterebbero quegli affari se, per una volta, fossero sottoposti ad un utilizzo un po’ più intenso della solita pedalatina di venti minuti.

Chissà come si comporterebbero se qualcuno cercasse di andarci davvero forte, saltando su e giù dai marciapiedi, massacrandole un po’.

Chissà come sarebbe correre una gara cittadina con quelle biciclette!?

Chissà come sarebbe correrci un alleycat!

Gli alleycat sono un tipo di gara nata nell’ambiente dei messenger cittadini per vedere chi fosse il più veloce tra loro nel raggiungere un determinato punto della città. Una sorta di simulazione di consegna, una gara per permettere di sapere chi sarebbe il più veloce se tutti dovessero effettuarne una nello stesso posto, partendo nello stesso momento.

Oggi, ovviamente, i pacchi non c’entrano più nulla e questo tipo di gare vengono fatte puramente per passione.

Un alleycat non è una gara “ufficiale”: le strade non sono chiuse al traffico, si va da un punto di partenza ad un punto di arrivo, passando attraverso dei check point, spesso senza un percorso obbligato.

Si parte, si fa a gomitate nel traffico, si cerca di non lasciarci le penne, il primo che arriva ha vinto.

Tutti liberi di fare la strada che si preferisce, basta arrivare al traguardo e, se ce ne sono, farsi vedere ai check point.

L’ultimo alleycat, a Milano, si è tenuto (credo) in occasione del Bicycle Film Festival di quest’anno e, dell’evento, trovate un bel servizio fotografico su FRESHNGOOD.

Non sarebbe divertente mettersi a pedalare come matti con le bici dell’ATM e vedere chi è davvero che ha più gamba?

ATM farebbe certamente bene ad appoggiare un evento del genere, un qualcosa che se promosso a dovere, potrebbe richiamare attenzione, partecipanti, pubblico e sponsor.

Certamente sarebbe necessario fissare un regolamento un po’ meno “politically uncorrect” rispetto a quelli su cui si basano solitamente queste gare, ma credo si troverebbe facilmente un buon compromesso.

Si eliminerebbe la variabile tecnica dettata dal mezzo utilizzato (dal tipo di bici e dal suo settaggio) ma si accentuerebbero le variabili atletico-tattiche.

Sarebbe un evento interessante, insomma: divertente e, soprattutto, messo in scena per una buona causa.

Non sono i bilanci di Atm ad esserlo, ma lo sono i nostri polmoni, il nostro udito e la vivibilità di una città.

Esortiamo pubblicamente amici e non a pensare seriamente ad organizzare un avvenimento come questo.

Noi siamo troppo impegnati a scegliere quale crema per il viso usare la mattina, ma certamente il nostro spazio è a disposizione per dare visibilità ad un’iniziativa come questa.

Ovviamente, in quanto ideatori, pretendiamo una corposa percentuale degli eventuali utili.

Ao que parece, Portugal não irá acolher a directiva da União Europeia que admite que os comerciantes possam optar entre aplicar ou não uma taxa nos pagamentos e levantamentos multibanco. O Governo português irá opor-se à implementação desta taxa. Se taxa sobre levantamentos (ATM) é fonte de forte contestação social, a taxa sobre os pagamentos efectuados por cartão de débito e de crédito poderiam desviar alguns lucros dos bancos, fazendo com que as pessoas se desvinculassem deste tipo de serviço.

A medida governamental em proibir estas taxas parece-me uma opção inteligente. Se é verdade que os comerciantes têm que pagar uma taxa aos bancos pelo recebimento de valores pagos através de cartão, eles poderão incorporar esta taxa no preço final ou então incentivar, por exemplo através da redução do preço, o pagamento efectuado em dinheiro.

I often find myself in a banking center simultaneously using an ATM and logged into the Mobile Banking application on my iPhone.

I find that I need the combination of the two experiences to achieve my one desired expected must-have experience.    Which means that I am constantly in a state of dissatisfaction with either channel. 

This is problematic for many reasons, two in particular.  First,  there must be millions of others who feel just like me.  Second, these are the primary business to consumer interaction points.   That being said it’s  imperative to create the best possible channel experiences.

The benefits of doing so could be huge.   It could drive satisfaction.  It could cement critical customer relationships.  And for the early-adopter innovators it could mean new unforeseen markets, products, services, customers, revenues, etc.

Risposta: “No, e’ scattato il verde” e fa partire la vetture. Scendo alla fermata successiva e replico: “Sara’ anche stato verde, ma quando gliel’ho chiesto era fermo alla pensilina.” – scuote la testa e gesticola come per dire “Si, si vai”. Lo informo che faro’ rapporto.”

Cavolo, non sapevo fosse cosi importante non perdere un semaforo verde…

Last night I had a cheque to pay into the bank. I decided not to leave it until they were open, as I can’t stand going into the bank in Aberdare. It takes ages to queue, and something always seems to go wrong when I’m just about to get served. So I thought I’d try paying it in using the ATM instead. I wasn’t even sure if that option was available, so I put my card in and looked at the menu. Sure enough, there was a “deposit” option. So far, so good.
I keyed in the amount of the cheque, and took an envelope from the dispenser. I was about to place the cheque in the envelope when I noticed the following message on the front:

Please write your account number clearly on the back of all cheques.

Fortunately, I always have a pen with me, so that wasn’t an issue. However, I don’t know how many people have their bank account numbers committed to memory. I’m certainly not one of them. And therein lies the rub. The only available record of my account number was on my card – which was in the machine at the time.
So I had to cancel the transaction, remove my card, copy the account number onto the back of the cheque, and start the whole process again. At some point the machine issued me with another envelope. I didn’t really need it, but I stuck it in my pocket anyway. I put the cheque in the envelope, fed it back into the machine, and got a receipt.
Now I’ve got a spare paying-in envelope sitting in the drawer, waiting for the next time I receive a cheque, probably in about five years’ time, by which I’ll be lucky if my bank still exists in its present form. In the meantime, at least I’ve solved the mystery of why the Halifax cashpoint around the corner always has a trail of unused deposit envelopes leading from it on a Sunday morning.

Wie ich heute von der Ehefrau der Ehrenvorsitzenden (hoffentlich schei*t er jetzt auf diesen Titel) erfahren habe, hat sich die Essig- und Balsamico Gesellschaft (der Herr möge ihnen Hirn schenken) einen massiven Fauxpas geleistet:

Der Ehrenvorsitzende hatte am 19.11. einen runden Geburtstag. Kein Schwein von dieser *Selbstzensur* hat das interessiert. Die öffentliche Niete wird sich höchstens überlegen wie sie demnächst ihren Angetrauten (mein Beileid) herausstellen und wesentlich Bessere negieren kann. Nach bisher unbestätigten Gerüchten besucht sie einen Kurs mit dem Titel: Wie schaffe ich es auf einer DINA 4 Seite unter 50 Fehlern insgesamt zu bleiben.

Ich möchte an dieser Stelle im Namen aller Forenkumpels dem Gründer der ATM aus tiefstem Herzen alles, alles Gute wünschen.

Milano in questi mesi vede rinnovarsi gradualmente il parco mezzi dell’ATM, con la discesa in strada di lucidi e moderni tram e autobus, che contribuiscono al restyling della città proiettandola più decisamente nel futuro.

Ma non è tutto oro quello che luccica, come si suol dire. Più moderni e funzionali, così dovrebbero essere i nuovi mezzi, e invece ti accorgi che sono anche molto più scomodi. Innanzitutto sono concepiti per trasportare in piedi la maggior parte dei passeggeri, e questo potrebbe pure andar bene se non fosse per il fatto che stare in piedi  è un’impresa titanica, perchè soprattutto nelle zone centrali, dove si collegano i moduli della vettura, sembra di stare sulle giostre.

Bisogna essere abili ad assecondare le repentine e veloci mosse del pavimento semovente, per non parlare della stabilità di queste vetture che mettono a dura prova l’equilibrio di giovani ed atletici viaggiatori, figuriamoci quello dei poveri anziani che non trovano posto a sedere.

Mi chiedo: quando le brillanti menti del design italiano, preoccupate soprattutto di rendere esteticamente apprezzabili i nuovi mezzi ATM, concepiscono questi veicoli, si preoccupano di effettuare test che tengano in considerazione il comfort dei passeggeri come, ad esempio, fanno i produttori di automobili?

In effetti ci impongono un prodotto nuovo, per il quale paghiamo profumatamente le tariffe, senza che noi possiamo scegliere. Eppure la città è di tutti, i cambiamenti che la riguardano dovrebbero trovare il favore della popolazione solo dopo averne conosciuto prima l’orientamento. Capisco che la “democrazia decisionale” in questi settori non è prevista perchè appesantirebbe e rallenterebbe  i processi di rinnovamento e cambiamento, però vedersi rifilato un tram bello ma scomodo senza averlo nemmeno potuto provare non è il massimo. Alla fine finisci per rimpiangere il caro vecchio tram in legno, che almeno ti culla nella sua sgangherata atmosfera d’altri tempi.

Watching an old episode of ‘Friends’ the other night – the one where Ross says the wrong name during his wedding to Emily -  I was reminded of the night I played some songs in front of Jennifer Saunders. Jennifer’s daughter was playing that night too as it was an open mic night at a local bar. I was due to go on after her and it only dawned on me as I was checking my guitar was in tune over in a quiet corner that Jennifer was in the front row, having come to watch her daughter’s performance. She looked softer than her ‘Absolutely Fabulous’ persona and seemed to be enjoying the evening. When I stepped out onto the stage for my slot I tried not to stare directly at her as I knew it would make me feel nervous. I don’t know why, there was a time when I kept randomly bumping into celebrities. Then again, when it is random you don’t ever really get a chance to get used to the idea. I mean you can’t wonder around life think ‘Oh I’m Mr Planet, I bump into famous people.’ Not unless you want people to use the word ‘arrogant’ when they describe you.

But it is true that I’ve encountered celebrities in unexpected situations. Once I was heading to a band rehearsal and walking over a bridge in town. Coming the other way was a blond chap who seemed a little familiar. ‘He looks like David McCallum out of ‘The Man From U.N.C.L.E.’,’ I thought to myself as he drew nearer. “You’re David McCallum,” I suddenly said. “Yes I am,” he replied, “And who are you?” “Oh I’m just a bloke on the street hassling you,” I said, realising that it was really rather rude of me to just blurt out my thoughts at him. He extended his hand and said “Hello bloke on the street.” “Hello David McCallum.” He then pointed at my guitar case and said “You playing tonight?” “Rehearsing with my band,” I told him. “You any good?” he wanted to know. “I’m not bad.” He smiled and said “Well I’m not bad at acting so you never know.” And that was that. He had to go, I was late for rehearsal and I forgot to ask him the most important question which was, ‘What are you doing in this two-bit nowhere town I call home?’

Some years later, when I was at university, I was standing at the queue for the ATM with my son, who was probably about eight or nine years old at the time. There were two ATM machines and the guy alongside me in the other queue looked familiar. Oh my word, he was Dave Davies, guitar player of The Kinks, one of my favourite sixties bands. “Hello guitar man,” I said. He turned round and smiled and said something quite softly. I remembered as he spoke that he’d suffered a stroke a few years back so he might not want people bugging him on the street. So I just gave him the thumbs-up, which he returned. We both stepped forward to the cash machines at the same time and when he’d done he tapped me on the shoulder and said goodbye with another thumbs-up. “Who was that?” asked my son. “He was in a huge band in the sixties.” “Bigger than McFly?” he asked (for the Americans, McFly were the equivalent of the Jonas Brothers over here for a year or two). “Well sort of,” I replied, “But even bigger and much more talented.” “Cool.” And I had to agree, how very cool to just bump into Dave Davies while waiting to draw some money out of the bank.

In similar fashion I have met Donald Sutherland, David Suchet (who plays Poirot over here in the UK), Hugh Cornwell of The Stranglers, Tony Robinson (Baldrick from ‘Blackadder’), and several other minor celebs. But the famous person I refused to get excited about was a member of the royal family. It was my first year at university and I was walking down a corridor talking with a friend. My shoulder brushed against the shoulder of somebody coming the other way. “Sorry,” I said and carried on walking. My friend was agitated. “Oh my god! Do you know who that was?” “Nope,” I said, as I hadn’t even looked up. “That’s Peter Philips.” “Er, and he is?” “Princess Anne’s son. The Queen’s grandson.” I wondered what my friend expected me to do with this information. Run after Peter Philips and throw myself prostrate before him uttering profuse apologies? I grinned. “I doubt very much he’ll have me sent to the tower for brushing his shoulder, especially as I’ve said sorry. He probably likes being treated like a normal person anyway.” My friend still looked doubtful but, as my head was still attached to my shoulders, I assumed I was right and carried on walking.

เป็นคำกล่าวของ ภาวุธ พงษ์วิทยภานุ กรรมการผู้จัดการ บริษัท ตลาดดอทคอม จำกัด และว่า นี่คือเหตุผลสำคัญหนึ่งที่ทำให้ตลาดดอทคอม ซึ่งเป็นผู้นำด้านอี-คอมเมิร์ซครบวงจรและเป็นชอปปิ้งมอลล์ออนไลน์ที่ใหญ่ที่สุดในประเทศไทย จากจำนวนร้านค้ากว่า 150,000 ร้านค้า ร่วมมือกับทาง ‘เอ็มเปย์’ เพื่อปฏิวัติรูปแบบการชำระเงินบนโลกออนไลน์แบบเดิมๆ เป็นครั้งแรก ภายใต้แนวคิด ‘สะดวกทุกครั้งที่โอนเงิน มั่นใจกว่าทุกครั้งที่รับเงิน’

ทั้งนี้ ตลาดดอทคอมนำศักยภาพบริการเอ็มเปย์เข้าไปตอบโจทย์ให้ร้านค้าในเว็บไซต์ตลาดดอทคอมมั่นใจ และปลอดภัยทุกครั้งที่ได้รับเงิน ด้วยระบบการตรวจสอบยอดการชำระเงินได้ทันที พร้อมทั้งมี SMS แจ้งการโอนเงินเข้ามือถือให้ทราบ และสำหรับลูกค้าที่ใช้บริการเอ็มเปย์ถือเป็นการเพิ่มทางเลือกใหม่ในการชำระ เงินค่าสินค้าที่ง่าย ประหยัด และสะดวกสบายที่สุด รวมทั้งสอดคล้องกับรูปแบบการใช้ชีวิตของคนรุ่นใหม่ เพียงมีเบอร์มือถือของร้านค้าก็สามารถชำระเงินค่าสินค้าได้ง่ายๆ ถึง 2 วิธี ทั้งผ่านทางเครื่อง ATM และจุดรับชำระเงิน mPay STATION รวมทั้งสิ้นกว่า 60,000 จุดทั่วประทศ โดยไม่ต้องจำเบอร์บัญชีธนาคารของร้านค้า นอกจากนี้ยังประหยัดค่าใช้จ่ายกว่าการชำระเงินด้วยวิธีอื่น เนื่องจากมีค่าธรรมเนียมในการโอนเงินเพียง 5 บาทต่อครั้ง โดยในช่วงแรกฟรีค่าธรรมเนียมจนถึงวันที่ 31 ธันวาคม 2552

‘มือถือถือเป็นวิธีการชำระเงินที่ง่ายที่สุดเท่าที่เคยมีมา’ ภาวุธ ย้ำถึงสิ่งที่เกิดขึ้น

ปัจจุบันเว็บไซต์ตลาดดอทคอม ได้รับความนิยมจากผู้บริโภคอย่างมาก เห็นได้จากการมีมูลค่าการซื้อขายในเว็บไซต์ทั้งหมดกว่า 5,000 ล้านบาทในปีที่ผ่านมา โดยมีสัดส่วนจำนวนการซื้อขายมาจากสินค้าประเภทแฟชั่น 30-40% ซึ่งถือเป็นสินค้าที่มาแรงเป็นอันดับหนึ่ง รองลงมาคือสินค้าเครื่องสำอาง อุปกรณ์ไอที และอุปกรณ์แต่งรถ

การซื้อขายบนโลกออนไลน์ ผู้ซื้อส่วนใหญ่จะอยู่ในช่วงอายุระหว่าง 16-35 ปี ส่วนใหญ่เป็นคนทำงานแล้ว ระดับการศึกษาปริญญาตรีขึ้นไป และมีรายได้ตั้งแต่ 10,000-50,000 บาท โดยปีนี้ร้านค้าของตลาดดอทคอมน่าจะเติบโตขึ้นอีกกว่า 2 หมื่นร้านค้า เชื่อว่าภายในสิ้นปีนี้น่าจะมีร้านค้าเกือบ 170,000 ร้านค้า โดยมีจำนวนผู้เข้าชมประมาณ 1.1 ล้านคนต่อเดือน

การที่ตลาดดอทคอมนำบริการเอ็มเปย์เข้ามาเพิ่มเป็นอีกทางเลือกในการชำระเงินในครั้งนี้ จะช่วยเพิ่มศักยภาพในการดำเนินธุรกิจให้กับเว็บไซต์ตลาดดอทคอม ทั้งในส่วนของการเพิ่มมูลค่าและปริมาณการซื้อขายผ่านออนไลน์ที่คาดว่าจะเติบโตสูงขึ้นถึง 20-30% เนื่องจากเอ็มเปย์เป็นบริการที่มีความน่าเชื่อถือและปลอดภัย ทำให้ร้านค้ามั่นใจได้ทุกครั้งที่รับเงิน และสำหรับลูกค้าที่ซื้อสินค้าก็ได้รับความสะดวกสบายยิ่งขึ้น

ที่ผ่านมาเอ็มเปย์ได้วางกลยุทธ์หลักในการมุ่งสู่การเป็นเบอร์ 1 ในธุรกิจให้บริการธุรกรรมทางการเงินบนมือถือ โดยในปีนี้มีการขยายบริการเอ็มเปย์ให้ครอบคลุม 4 กลุ่มธุรกิจหลัก ทั้งธุรกิจบัตรเติมเงินประเภทต่างๆ ธุรกิจ อี-คอมเมิร์ซ ธุรกิจ Money Transfer และธุรกิจ M-Biz Solution ทำให้ปัจจุบันมีจำนวนลูกค้าที่ใช้บริการเอ็มเปย์เพิ่มขึ้นจากปีที่ผ่านมาถึง 30% โดยมียอดการทำธุรกรรมทางการเงินมากถึง 3.3 ล้านรายการต่อเดือน
