Dussi all käimine on niru, sest mina pean pool tundi seal vee all seisma ja ootama, et šampoon juustest välja tuleks. Survet pole no üldse mitte.

Kuda teil on?

….

Lennukist oli ka ilus vaade.

Volatility is coming back into the currency markets following the news that Dubai World is looking t

Volatility is coming back into the currency markets following the news that Dubai World is looking to default on its debts. Overnight again we see some strength from the Japanese Yen and the US Dollar.

The first setup I noticed this morning was a descending triangle forming on the AUDUSD 5 min chart and this was just above the big number 0.9000. So waited for the line of support to be broken and a close below the 0.9000 level before entering the trade. We got the close below, by 1 point, and the trade was entered but straight away the price rallied and broke back up through the line of resistance and the trade was closed for a loss of 15 points. So the first trade failed, but that is trading we know not every trade will be a winner. So eyes back onto the charts looking for another set up.

Cable was trading in a box pattern and with 7am approaching this is where I would be focusing my eyes for the next trade. We get the close below support at 7am and the trade was entered, but this time I was looking for a target of 50 points based on the box pattern, not the usual 20 points from the 7am break. The 50 point target also tied in with the support 1 (S1) level of the daily pivots. And after 20 minutes the target was hit and the trade closed for 50 points profit.

So one win and one loss this morning but still up 35 points.

Learning Points

1: Understand Risk, what is the most you could lose on the trade if it went against you.

2: A loss is a business expense, you will always get them. Learn to accept them and move on.

Quote of the day from Marty Schwartz

“I’m more concerned about controlling the downside. Learn to take the losses. The most important thing about making money is not to let your losses get out of hand.”

Läbi igasuguse paanika, jõudsime me lõpuks kohale.

Natuke lukku läksid, a see läks ka kohe üle.

Stockholmi lennujaamas hakkas asi juba keerulisemaks minema. Või noh, tüütumaks. Meil pidi 3 tundi aega olema, aga sellest 1,5h seisime me check-in’i järjekorras.

Olemine on tegelikult suht saast. Praegu on kell 4 hommikul, me oleme umbes 2h juba üleval olnud.

At 5pm (AEDT), the Australian dollar was trading at $US0.9223/26, down 0.61 per cent from Tuesday’s close of $US0.9280/83.

During the day, the unit moved between $US0.9194 and $US0.9257.

The Australian unit started the local session weaker at $US0.9224/25 at 7am (AEDT) after investors rs sold risk-sensitive assets such as equities and commodity-driven currencies in overnight trade following the release of soft housing data in the US.

Wall Street closed lower today, withy Dow Jones Industrial Average down 0.5 per cent, after the weaker than expected housing data.

Housing starts in the US rose by 0.5 per cent to 590,000 in September, below market expectations of a 610,000 increase.

The US dollar gained against most currencies during the offshore session.

Commonwealth Bank currency strategist Joseph Capurso said the Australian dollar traded in a narrow range on Wednesday with little economic data to move financial markets.

“The US dollar had a small surge with those softer housing permit numbers,” Mr Capurso said.

“That was the main mover.

“There was not much new information to push the currency around.”

economic data due in the US during tonight’s (AEDT) offshore session includes the Mortgage Bankers’ Association’s mortgage applications for the week ending October 16 and the US Federal Reserve’s Beige Book on economic conditions.

Boston Federal Reserve Bank president Eric Rosengren, Richmond Federal Reserve Bank president Jeffrey Lacker and Federal Reserve governor Daniel Tarullo will all deliver speeches overnight.

“The Beige Book should start to sound a bit more optimistic, but I don’t think they will be indicating rate rises,” Mr Capurso said.

“The chances are the Aussie will climb a bit further with the Fed confirming it is going to be on hold, but the (US) economy is still improving slowly.”

Mr Capurso forecasts the Australian dollar to trade between $US0.9190 and $US0.9300.

I recently purchased a Sedona duster for $45.00 I’d say the price is about right. the quality is less than a Driza-bone or Outback Trading companies. The material is thinner and not well coated with wax. However, it is a much lighter coat than the other two so for those not wanting a real Aussie duster for the outdoors, but instead want something to wear in the city, then this Sedona duster is perfect. If it matters, the Outback Trading Co and Driza-Bone are Australian companies while Sedona is American. The Fox Fire / Outback Trails Co is actually Canadian while the Sydney Oilskin collection Co is based in the UK.

When it comes to hair, I’ve just never really cared. Mine’s at an awkward length right now, and in the past I just haven’t had the energy in the morning to do anything with it besides throw it back in a ponytail. Lately, though, I’ve started to straighten it, and even though I use heat protectant spray, it still starts to get a little lusterless and altogether dead-looking if I don’t give it a break every few days. Regular conditioning just wasn’t doing the trick, so at my last trip to CVS I decided to pick up the deep conditioner last month’s Allure had rave reviews of: Aussie 3 minute miracle deeeeep conditioner.

I’ve been using it every few days lately, and I have to say I’m totally in love. It’s very simple to use – just put some in your hair, leave it there for about 3 minutes, then rinse out, first with warm and then cold water – and results are very pleasing to my hair’s senses. Immediately, my tresses are softer, shinier, and less tangly. Even after I straighten it, my hair is still super soft and healthy-looking, and stay that way for the rest of the day. I also noticed it was much less frizzy than usual after use. Plus, the conditioner has a wonderful scent – sweet, with definite hints of coconut; not too strong, but strong enough to last through the day.

Overall: 5/5. Makes hair more soft & healthy looking; great scent.

P.S. Bonus points if you know what semi-obscure British comedy the title is a reference to!

After a one hour drive north of Brisbane, you will discover the beautiful Sunshine Coast. You will find it an amazing place to holiday whether driving through the hinterland touring the Glass House Mountains, the Mary Valley or the Blackall Ranges or along the 100klm stretch of beaches. Beautiful towns such as Caloundra, Kawana, Mooloolaba, Maroochydore, Coolum Beach, Noosa and Rainbow Beach along the scenic coast offer great holiday accommodation of resort apartments, hotels, or Bed and Breakfasts.
Enjoying the shopping boutiques, warm sandy beaches, alfresco dining places or just the relaxed lifestyle will ensure that you have a memorable holiday on the Sunshine Coast.

1. SURFING If you love surfing, then the swell off Point Cartwright and Alexandra Headland will be just for you.

2. ADVENTURE If it’s adventure that you want, try the camel rides on the beach, jetski tours or skydiving.

3. SHOPPING Maybe you love shopping! The Sunshine Plaza in Maroochydore has something for everyone and gives you an exciting shopping adventure. My sister and I enjoyed it.

4. FAMILY ENTERTAINMENT You can take your family to the famous Australia Zoo, Aussie World and Underwater World. Driving through the hinterland can take you from the Australia Zoo up to the iconic Ettamogah Pub which has a quaint little shopping village. It is right next to Aussie World which has over 30 rides and games that everyone of all ages will enjoy. It will be an all day experience just at the Australia Zoo, so you may want to divide the entertainment up over a few days. When my sister and I and her boys did a tour of these areas, we did it over a three day period.

THE AUSTRALIA ZOO is located just 45 minutes north of Brisbane on the Glasshouse Mountains Tourist Drive, and is the home to some of Australia’s most amazing and unique wildlife, and a variety of interesting animals from overseas. Your visit to the home of “THE CROCODILE HUNTER”, the late Steve Irwin, will definitely amaze you and make your visit memorable. There are daily feeding shows from 10am through to 3:30pm every day. You can enjoy a tasty meal also from the food court.

AUSSIE WORLD is located one kilometre north of the Caloundra exit on the Bruce Highway and the best way to get there is drive, but you can take a train to Landsborough and bus from there to the Rustic Cabin picnic grounds or Chancellor Park. From here a taxi can take you to Aussie World and the Ettamogah Pub which is situated nearby. At Aussie World rides commence at 10am and open from 9am to 5pm, but they close Xmas Day. Aussie World is planning the best Australia Day event you’ve ever seen on the 26th January 2009.

THE ETTAMOGAH PUB is a quirky icon that has a 1927 Chevy truck on top of its bright red roof. It is open every day from 9am until late but closes on Christmas Day. Bluey’s Bar and Grill, located upstairs in the Ettamogah Pub, is open daily for lunch and dinner from 11am to 8pm but is closed on Christmas Day.

UNDERWATER WORLD, Queenland’s largest Oceanarium and aquarium is situated at Mooloolaba. Be entertained by over 5,500 sea creatures such as seals, sharks, sting rays, and otters. My nephews thoroughly enjoyed being photographed with a beautiful seal after watching its playful antics.

5. HINTERLAND On your drive through the hinterland, discover the pretty town of Montville, which is home to pottery studios, art galleries, antique stores, and fashion houses. Another 20klms north through Nambour is Yandina. You will find the Ginger Factory there where you can have an interesting tour and buy gingerbread men and ginger candies made from quality Buderim ginger.

6. MARKETS Just 10klms north of Yandina is Eumundi which has the most fascinating and very popular markets operating every Wednesday and Saturday. These markets are well worth a visit but be early as the parking lots become full fast. It becomes a very interesting experience with local entertainers keeping the kids amused, and more than 500 great produce stalls selling beautifully constructed crafts, organically grown produce, and a large variety of other amazing products. Wide pathways shaded by towering heritage listed fig trees make walking amongst the stalls and old quaint buildings a very pleasant experience. My sister and I and her children had a ball.

The Sunshine Coast is really the perfect mix of coast and country and the ideal place to relax, unwind and enjoy yourself. Maybe you will love the area enough to find the nearest Real Estate agency.

Following from my late post last night the Aussie trade was executed this morning short at 0.9200 th

Following from my late post last night the Aussie trade was executed this morning short at 0.9200 that big round number I was talking about.

The MACD divergence and price conspired nicely in my favour to deliver the goods.

I only needed a 20 pip stop loss and guess what……………………………I added to it half way down on the little pull back on the 15 minute chart.

It’s strange the way trading works sometimes. I was chatting to Paul on Skype first thing this morning and we were both saying that the charts looked a bit offish.

In my head I was saying that I would probably only demo trade today as I really wasn’t feeling it.

But boy what a day it turned out to be USDCHF, EURUSD, EURGBP, GBPJPY (see Alan’s diary note), GBPCHF all fantastic trades – I didn’t take the cable trade as my hands were already full………………………and obviously I didn’t demo trade ….well durr!

Poor old US traders were left with Europe’s sloppy seconds to trade.

Lessons learnt:

Don’t always judge your charts by the first few bars – expect the unexpected and sometimes what looks like a mess can develop into your idea of trading heaven.

Pealegi tahtsime me alguseks ikka kahest tuba.

Dorm roomid on tavaliselt u $25 öö / per nina. Kahesed toad algavad $50.

Oh joy!

It’s late Thursday evening (2315 hrs in fact) and I should be in bed as I have an early start

It’s late Thursday evening (2315 hrs in fact) and I should be in bed as I have an early start tomorrow. Well everyday is an early start, I always wake up at about 0500.

I thought I’d do my report a bit early……put down in writing one of my thoughts for potential trades tomorrow or the next few days.

In particular my eyes are being constantly drawn to the Aussie.

Have a look at this daily chart…..

Aussie is showing some nice divergence on the daily chart and this week, on an intraday basis, I have been taking advantage of some lovely short term short trades.

Looking at a weekly chart you can see that the Aussie is on fire.

The Aussie’s climb since the beginning of this year has been relentless. Maybe it’s time for it to take a good long breather?

Perhaps the big figure of 0.9200 is going to be significant? It’s certainly been toying with that level today (Thursday). It said goodbye to 0.9300 and didn’t look back. As I type this note it is currently consolidating under 0.9200 and hugging one of my moving averages.

Of course AUDUSD is one of the commodity currencies and it’s value is very closely correlated with the price of gold, this will need to be taken into consideration.

Plenty to think about with regards this pair over the next few days. It certainly helps to have a look at the bigger picture before drilling down with your magnifying glass and trading those smaller timeframes.

Australia is due to ring that bell any moment now. Maybe I’ll stay up for another hour and see how this pans out?

Hhhmm……….

One of t he greatest talents of our time Ms. SiA Furler has been currently busy taking care of someone else’s career (Christina Aguilera). But, that hasn’t stopped her from working on her own album. It is tentatively titled We Are Born. One of the rumored tracks on it is a reworked version of the Laurent Flax collaboration “You’ve Changed,” which is a great track to begin with. Click here to listen to the new version. The album is set for a Spring 2010 release.

Long day for no pay
Well, atleast I got my Texas Burger that satisfied my belly alot.
I also got something today that satisfied my hair, a new deep conditioner.
‘Aussie 3 minute miracle Deep Conditioner for coloured hair‘, that reconstructs damaged hair ( partly from colouring), antifrizz, straightening and nurishing.
Apparently it is made mainly from all natural ingredients, specially found in Australia.
I just tried it and it worked very nicely actually, just what I need:P
It is also especially good because I tend to wear and tear my hair alot because when I style it I use pretty rough products.

I just found a website that ships Gatsby and other japanese hairproducts worldwide for very nice prices!
<<<< Click Banner!

The Styling Solid Ultimate Hold looks very nice!

I also like this commercial, for the Urutora Hado wax!
Plus, the guys doo…is awesome! I would really like to try a style like that, maybe next time I go to Björn Axén I will ask for that.

Tomorrow; Beer with my kung fu buddy?
-I hope so!

Thursday; Hangover?
-I hope not.

Friday; Single dinner?
-Haha, we´ll see.

Saturday; Party, Long and hard!
-Thats what she said!

Watching movies with my other half currently. All old faves from my own library. Just now we’re starting to watch Strictly Ballroom, one of my all time favourite Australian films. Interestingly I rented some academic books on the subject of Australian television and cinema, wanting to fuel my desire in the subject. It worked. One of the books, which i now can’t recall the name of, identified a niche genre in Australian cinema; the glitter film.

Glitter films were generally summed up by the concept of a ‘disabled’ protagonist, whether that be in terms of societal standing, physical attractiveness or physical and mental ability. Said protagonist finds themselves in a bleak world, often with oppressive/aggressive parents and a lack of suitable role models. Their solution to these problems however generally find themselves in a creative outlet. If you’re familiar with Strictly Ballroom, you’ll know that this description fits it perfectly. It also fits Cosi, Adventures of Priscilla Queen of the Desert and Muriel’s Wedding. I love Priscilla, have only seen Muriel’s Wedding once and and have never seen Cosi, but I am shameless fan of the genre.

Don’t get me wrong, Strictly Ballroom has its flaws, but god help me I love it to death. There are elements of it that Baz Luhrman should have carried into his other films. The rustic magic. Moulin Rouge and Romeo and Juliet have more of a sparkle to them. I see the three films as a rough cut opal being almost outshone by the two brilliant diamonds either side. And I’m just so ANNOYED that he hasn’t made any other Australian films.

I am not counting Australia. It’s not a Red Curtain film as far as I’m concerned, and I miss those so much.

I really should watch Australia at some point…
