Nu stiu cum am ajuns in a 8-a saptamana de facultate. Timpul parca trece din ce in ce mai repede. Saptamanile zboara, de weekend-uri nici nu mai zic. Poate asta e si motivul pt care nici nu mai scriu pe blog. Se intampla atat de multe si atat de repede ca si atunci cand vreau sa scriu despre ceva, pana ajung la blog deja e demult trecut. Mi-ar placea sa pot scrie exact atunci cand imi tuna mie. A doua zi deja nu mai e la fel de natural. Una e cand scrii despre un lucru care ti se intampla, o stare pe care o ai ACUM. Si altfel e atunci cand povestesti despre ce simteai acum 2 zile.

Deci, Ina, imi pare foarte bine ca imi citesti blogul, imi pare rau de dezamagirea de care spuneai sambata – ca deschizi pagina si vezi tot acelasi post, nu unul nou.  (Si iata un paradox: a aparut un post nou din explicatia motivului pt care nu exista un post nou)

Si daca tot scriu sa va pvestesc cum a aratat weekendul trecut:

Vineri: facultate — inscriere Avon pt Iulia — British Council — Sinagoga — plimbare cu cea mai buna prietena (stiti voi, cea de 4 ani) si familia ei catre casa

Sambata: prospectare Avon — mancaaaaare — vizita — aranjat rafturi cu carti

Duminica: Talmud Tora — aranjat rafturi de carti — pranz la “socrii” —  targul de carti Kilipirim — cumparaturi Carrefour — aproape 2 ore de stat la coada ca sa-l votez pe Crin care nici macar nu a ajuns in turul 2 — mai citesc o data pt ECDL

As fi vrut sa scriu cate un post despre fiecare din aceste lucruri, dar fiind asa de multe si ingramadite pana acum (marti – ora 9:36 – asteptand-o pe Iulia sa vina la mine sa mergem la sport) deja parca sunt cam departe si nici nu pot sa aleg despre care sa scriu. Daca aveti voi sugestii as putea sa aleg sa detaliez cate ceva.

Ando meio sumidinha, mas é essa correria de fim de ano mais tcc que faz isso… acho que vocês entendem né =]

Esse fim de semana tive uma folguinha então resolvi brincar com minhas caixinhas de esmalte. Fiquei um tempão testando combinações de esmaltes para ver o resultado final. Adoroooo ficar de bobeira fazendo isso !!!

Entre as combinações que eu fiz, uma me agradou em especial. Acho que isso também tem muito haver com o fato deu estar com um tombo uma queda por tons de laranja de todos os tipos… efeitos da energia do verão já esta tomando conta desse corpo… hahahahahahaha

E vocês ja devem estar curiosas para saber que combinação foi essa …. pois bem, a combinação que ganhou meu coração nesse fim de semana foi dos a dos esmaltes Moça da Guga e Amarelo nome super original da Dote. E o resultado vocês podem conferir ai em baixo:

Eu estava EXATAMENTEEE com essa cor em mente… queria usar um esmalte que tivesse cor de manga !!!! Até que testei varios dos meus e nenhum tinha cor de manga como eu queria. Então após passar 2 camadas do moça resolvi passar uma camada do amarelo por cima para ver qual resultado daria, e o que posso dizer ??? BINGO …

Consegui a cor de manga q eu estava imaginando…. Claro q a foto não captou, mas ficou cor de manga neon !!!! Ja que o moça é uma cor super neon… Claro que o amarelo por cima deu uma quebrada nesse tom neon do moça, mas não o suficiente para apaga-lo totalmente, ele ainda ficou neon…. só que “brilhando menos”.

O moça mancha um pouco na hora de passar, então passei duas camadas não tão finas pra manchar menos. O resultado fica lindoo… não parava de olhar para minha mão !!! A cor rendeu elogios até do pessoal na facul…

Eu não conheço nenhuma marca que tenha essa cor de manga (sim, ficou muitoooo igual a cor de manga), pelo menos por aqui na terrinha nunca vi. É uma combinação que super vale a pena pra quem gosta desses tons laranja e das cores neon que estão vindo cada dia mais com tudooo.

Fiz essas florzinha em branco com a plaquinha S9 da Konad e finalizei com uma camada do roxinho da avon.

E vocês gurias, gostaram …. usariam algo assim também???? Eu confesso que pirei nessa cor

when in last night’s miss south pacific interview portion, one of my favorite candidates, tonga’s paea williams, said that her best make-up advice to ladies is “waterproof mascara”, i knew she was my kind of beauty queen. and you have to trust her on that: she is a make-up artist by profession in hawaii.

my friends all know i never leave the house without mascara. it’s my thing. while most pinays and, as i found out here, fijians never miss swiping on lip color, i frequently go bare-lipped but perfectly fine as long as my lashes are covered.

with that, off i went to one of my most-trusted make-up sites, total beauty, to see what they think are the best waterproof mascaras in the market today. and i was happy to see a good mix of drugstore, bridge and luxury brands in their list of 12 best waterproof mascaras:

a good waterproof mascara doesn’t flake, stays put the whole day, won’t give you raccoon eyes. best for tropical climates because it withstands heat and sweat, you can even take a dip and it doesn’t run on you. if you’re attending a wedding where you expect hours of tears, dancing and general partying, your waterproof mascara will not ruin your face in photos.

so how do you remove it? waterproof make-up used to only respond well to oil or chemical make-up removers. but thanks to science, now waterproof mascara can be removed with ordinary soap and water. isn’t technology swell?

When you talk about ‘green’ or CSR, do you mean it? Or is it part of your plan to fit in with the latest industry conversation? Perhaps I’m being unfair – some don’t believe that the whole ‘green’/sustainable ‘thing’ will even pick up. Yes, sure they say, it will be used, spoken about and then we will continue to do business the way we always have.

So I guess my question to you is as follows: firstly, are you a ‘green-washer’ or a ‘green-doer’?; have you taken real, meaningful initiatives to make a difference to the way your business activities are undertaken?; and, if yes, what’s driving you?

I looked at examples where Coke; Woolworths; Avon; Ariel and many other large organisations have really targeted a niche community to approach and uplift, something that falls right within their scope of work. It seems amazing to me, how every time I think we’ve hit the next big ‘thing’/challenge, people come up with the most phenomenal ideas.

So I’m curious: how are you going to flow with change?

I came across this term a few days ago as coined by some research that Avon had recently commissioned. I was intrigued by this rather patronising term to describe female entrepreneurs but only just got a chance to look it up now. I’m writing this entry as I read it and the first point that has struck me is the number of strong ladies backing the research: Julie Meyer from Dragon’s Den Online fame, Maxine Benson, the co-founder of everywomen, Carole Stone from YouGov to name just a few. Surely these ladies can’t be backing such a term?

However, the first paragraph of the findings is:

‘In this report, inspired and commissioned by Avon, we present a picture of independent businesswomen in Britain today. We have termed these women Lipstick Entrepreneurs and the movement that they are leading, Femterprise.’

Argh! Can I really read on?!!! Despite the negative term, the report is very positive towards female entrepreneurs.

So the research has segmented the Lipstick Entrepreneur into 8 types: I think I am a Meritocrat, or a Horizontal Juggler…. actually I might be a Double Hitter.

I’ve just read the detailed descriptions of the 8 typologies and think I am a cross between the Meritocrat and the Double Hitter!

Having just finished reading the report, I think the term Lipstick entrepreneur is referring to mainly Avon ladies and the typologies that become Avon representatives. I really hope so. As a experienced researcher, I am not too impressed with the report although it is positive towards the Female Entrepreneur. But how long do us ladies have to hear terms such as Lipstick Entrepreneurs, Mumpreneurs, Working mums to describe us instead of just BusinessWoman or Entrepreneur! I hope it’s sometime in my lifetime.

Work is stressful lately. I get to work closely with the Director of Operations for Dante’s Inc. It’s less than appealing to me. Don’t get me wrong she’s an okay person but working with her, that’s a different story. They also just promoted Rosie to be a manager for monday nights. I guess some congratulations are in order. I worked my ass off last week and didn’t so much as get a thank you for all your help, or keep up the good work. I dedicated myself to that resturant and didn’t get recognized for it. Guess we’ll see if I ever go above and beyond again. Back on track now… So wednesday was my pampered chef party. I had a decent turn out, Amy and Mira came. It was nice catching up with them. Most of my orders are going to be from people who couldn’t attend. Sent out my avon order the other day also. Expecting arrival soon hopefully. Sometimes I sit awake wondering what it would take to make me a wine-o, then I think I couldnt drink that much wine in a week to even consider it, but I just realized its not per week or per month its per day. So some day’s I really am a wine-o. AND I tried Blue Moon, It’s amazing. I’ve tried so many beers and its funny that I finally can drink one with out having to be wasted first. I also want to start wearing red lipstick. Red is one of those power colors that only business women and celebs can pull off. Well I’m a business woman. And I’m going to give it a shot. Slowly getting VERY excited to go to Minnesota to THE MALL OF AMERICA!!  And stop in Chicago ( The Windy City) && Clevland on the way too or from. Yes we are DRIVING the whole wayy. Pooopy. Well thats all for now.

ORKUD, em Brazhell, é quase a mesma meleca do Orkut do Planeta Terra. A única diferença é que todos os perfis são verdadeiros, não tem fakes!
