The third installment of Sensei Takaya’s delightful manga series that gives the reader a window into the life of the cursed Sohma family and how Tohru Honda, a sweet and naive young orphan they’ve taken in and with whom they’ve shared their secret that some in their family are possessed by the vengeful animal spirits of the Chinese zodiac, features the rebellious cat-posessed Kyo Sohma on the cover.  Kyo is probably one of my favorite characters, he is certainly one of the funniest, and this book introduces another of my favorites:  Hatsuharu, the bull.

The book begins with a school race, which the highly-competitive Kyo sees as an opportunity to beat his ultimate rival and cousin, Yuki Sohma, the rat.  The pictures had Maggie and I laughing out loud in public places, trying to keep ourselves under control but often not able,   class=”hiddenSpellError” pre=”">Kyo with his cat ears, fangs, eyes and tail with electric energy swirling around him as he focuses on thoroughly trouncing “That damn rat Yuki” in the race was hilarious.  It’s during the race that Haru shows up and challenges Kyo to a fight, during which Black Haru comes out and makes sexual innuendos about what he’s going to do with Tohru.

Valentine’s Day happens in this book, as well, which brings Kagura back… much to Kyo’s displeasure.  Hatori, the Sohma family doctor, is introduced and Momiji makes another appearance and invites Tohru, Yuki and Kyo to the Sohma family spa for White Day.  Momiji, the rabbit, is another one of those funny, slightly naughty, characters who likes to look pretty.  The trouble is, though, the dress-wearing, fingernail-polished, blonde is a BOY.  Also, the interactions between Kyo and Momiji is reminiscent of the baby brother tag-a-long and annoyed older brother.  Kyo often noogies, pinches and restrains the over-zealous Momiji, who cries and whines loudly to any who’ll listen that he’s being abused by Kyo.

The final page of the book still makes me laugh, and I’ll often repeat it back to Mags, who will break out in groaning laughter and rolling her eyes.  Shigure shows Haru the little cosplay maid outfit he’s bought for Tohru as his White Day gift saying, “I can’t wait for her to call me Master wearing this.”  To which Haru replies, “Just Make sure you don’t get arrested, okay?”

Fruits Basket, volume 4 begins with a new year at school and the addition of Haru and Momiji as first years at Yuki, Kyo and Tohru’s high school.  Akito, the abusive, frightening, mercurial head of the Sohma family visits the school, specifically to see Tohru.  He tries to come off as being kind, but it’s even scarier than when he’s his normal evil self.

Tohru is meets another Sohma in a shocking way when Yuki’s older brother, Ayame, crawls into her clothing in his snake form.  Ayame’s visit is an attempt to get closer to his brother, but Yuki seems to dislike and resent him.  Ayame’s visit also brings a reunion  of the Madubachi Trio (The nickname of Shigure, Hatori and Ayame as a group in high school) and stories of their escapades when they were in school.

As a series, Fruits Basket is fun and light, with a bit of sexual humor and the occasional homosexual undertone.  Ayame owns a dress shop that may be a  ”>cosplay store, and may or may not be in love with Hatori.  Haru also makes a comment about Yuki being his first love.  There is also violence, some amount of mysticism and Tohru’s ancestor worship with her mom’s picture… a Japanese thing, I know.  But, all in all, the story, writing and artwork tickles my funny bone and Maggie loves reading it with me, which is one of the best thing about them

Los Chicos Animes de Cabellera Blanca más Sexy

 Buenas…!! Heme aquí nuevamente, con otro articulo (?) esta vez hablando de algo que nos interesa a todas, pues en el anime solemos ver a xicos de todas clases, para todos los gustos y tamaños (?) Existen los dulces, aquellos tan tiernos que son apachables, como Honey, también están aquellos, tan locos pero ciertamente violables y que harían cualquier cosa por sus amigos como Lavi… pero también los hay serios muy serios y tan fríos como un panal hielo, que mejor ejemplo que un personaje mas de D.Gray-Man como Kanda [kandaaaaa *-*] Bien, pero eso no es lo que me trae hasta acá, pues siendo así, existen demasiados chicos y todos realmente bellos, lo que me trae hasta acá, son aquellos chicos de esplendorosa cabellera plateada/blanca, y que si no se han fijado suelen verse en algunos animes ^^ y que suelen colocárseles dentro de las tres clases de niños que nombre anteriormente.

 Mas que decir oh! Wow! Es bello, estos suelen llevarse uno que otro suspiro, personalmente suele derretirme las diferentes personalidades y el cabello le da el toque al clavo para terminar de agradar… pero no todos son iguales y aun así sus pelos blancos o plateados llaman la atención a mas de una o no? Por eso he aquí una pequeña lista de aquellos chicos de cabellos blancos/plateados ¿Por qué no? que nos han robado un suspiro a más de una y en más de una ocasión, y encabezando la lista, que suenen los redoblantes:

Yue/Yukito

¿Por que él? Sencillo, este chico con sus ojos azulados y sus largos cabellos blancos, demostró en la serie Sakura Card Captor ser un chico fiel muy a pesar de su seriedad, que daría lo que fuera por la persona querida, además, ¿Qué no es lindo? [>.<] Muy a pesar de su primera impresión ante Sakura, en el paso de la serie, se pudo ver a un Yue un poco mas mmm digamos compasivo (?) pero ese no es el hecho, lo que trae a encabezar esta lista es su belleza, y aquella personalidad de panal que conquisto corazones.

 Hablar de Yukito ya es diferente, tan amable y servicial, tan perfecto, hay que reconocer por que Sakura estaba enamorada de él, y es que su forma de ser, era tan diferente a la de Yue, y aun así, ese carisma no suele verse mucho, por eso Yukito, es único.

Sesshomaru

Este chico les voló los corazones a mas de una, su indiscutible odio por Inuyasha era algo fuerte, pero lo que mas sorprende es… la forma en como cuido a esa linda niña que siempre andaba con ellos, y a quien quiere, y protege ante todo, siendo así, ¿no les gustaría ser esa niña? jaja.

Allen Walker

Digamos el alumno de un General al cual le debe… le debe querer asesinar [risas] pero eso no es lo que nos importa. Este chico es el portador del cartoceavo, el que llevara el mundo a la destrucción, pero mas que eso, es solo un chico, con un gran carisma y una ternura que suele hechizar, las cosas por las que ha pasado y la forma en como ha salido de ellas, solo demuestra la fortaleza de este chico, y si es así, entonces por que no estar en esta lista de los Hair White Hot anime Boy, su dulzura es indiscutible y su fuerza aun mas cuando se molesta, es totalmente poderosa, por eso Allen te amamos.!

Zero

Él…Él derrite todo encanto que cualquiera pueda tener por otros personajes, majestuosamente serio, con un secreto que solo pocas personas conocen, la verdad que porta en sus hombros suele ser tan pesada que suele alejar a cualquiera de él, pero aun así su encanto es formidable y es que, muy a pesar de esa necesidad, es inevitable no acercársele, quien dice lo contrario? Solo por eso puede tomar de mi sangre cuando se le plazca [risas]

Hitsugaya Toushirou

¿Qué decir? Su imagen habla por si sola, de la serie de Bleach, con un encanto matador, una mirada desgarradora… pues bien tendría que estar en esta pequeña clasificación

Inuyasha

Al hablar de su hermano, no podía dejar de lado a Inuyasha, en mi opinión es el chico, desmedido por una idea que a final de cuentas termina por reflexionar y darse cuenta de cuales son sus verdaderos sentimientos y lo que debe de hacer, protector y tierno hasta cierto punto, con un toque gracioso, sencillamente otro roba corazones.

Ayame

Definitivamente todos tienen un carisma, y ayame no es la excepción… pues derrítanse antes esos ojos dorados *¬* 

Kaworu Nagisa

Olvidarme de este chico seria imperdonable [menos mal encontré su imagen –risas-] su personalidad encantadora que enamoraría a cualquiera puso de punta hasta Shinji Ikari, en la serie Evangelion, entrando a NERV como un piloto, demostró ser mas que eso, y con su forma de ser y sus acciones… deberás engaño a mas de uno.

 Abel Nightroad

Por ultimo, pero no menos importante, se nos presenta este personaje, que a mi sinceramente me parte el corazón [*-*] con tantos sentirse como solo él, y con una personalidad muy dinámica, es una persona especial con un secreto muy singular, pero que muy a pesar de ello, suele proteger a sus allegados en la forma en que solo él [y otros dos] puede hacerlo, Rayos! No puedo seguir viendo esa imagen por que me enloquece [risas] desconozco la existencia de otras chicas que le gusten este personaje, pero sino, he aquí mi subjetividad a flor de piel, al colocarlo en esta lista *-*

 Y he aquí los nueve chicos mas hot de cabello blanco que existen en el anime, todos con personalidades diferentes, pero que gracias a ello, han logrado robar mas de corazón, esperando a que haya sido de su agrado o si creen falta algún personaje en esta lista, pues me despido, hasta otra ocasión, personajes de pasatiempo.

Inspirations, items, music, people… things that have made me smile, made me not buy crisps in the hope of saving up for, and made me procrastinate whilst doing all that hard work. In no particular order…

3. Katie Eary at Digitaria

Katie Eary is just amazing, you don’t need me to tell you that what with that hair and MAN and being in Vogue and the studded jumpers and everything, she’s also incredibly nice and so is DIGITARIA which is a new shop on Berwick Street, the nice end mind you. DIGITARIA is now selling EARY’s work of course which is just wonderful as finally people can finally actually buy it which is exactly what she intends it for. They’re also selling the equally wonderful womenswear designer Gemma Slack too. Below is the exciting window display that Katie did…

4. D.A.F.

Beatles whatever, D.A.F. are surely the greatest band of all time. I mean, just look at them:

If you’ve not heard of them yet then it stands for Deutsch-Amerikanische Freundschaft and this is the cover for their excellent Gold und Liebe album which –despite coming out in 1981– sounds more modern and a million times more amazing on anything on the Little Boots/latest Fabriclive/MSTRKRFT albums. Their leather-clad, sex-obsessed image, stark photography and relentlessly minimal electronic music (augmented with thudding, old fashioned drums) is the soundtrack to a winter of clomping about in severely-cut jackets and Raf Simons gloves. They also has a song called “Sex Unter Wasser” which sadly is one of the weaker tracks on this release. “a 1980 concert in Düsseldorf had to be stormed by the police to bring the crowd under control.” says Wikipedia.

5. Acne’s “Trance” boot

Weird that something so ostensibly “ugly” on paper should work so well, but it’s the chunkiness that balances out the grungy layering up top in Acne’s A/W 09 spread. In other words, the rubbery sole and squared toe provide the metaphorical scaffolding for all the weight up top, the perfect full stop. I love the shearling ones.

6. Raf Simons double jacket

I hated the Raf Simons show. It left me cold, but more than that, offended. It’s because we’re so used to seeing sportswear and tailoring morphed into singular garments (Lanvin’s jersey suiting, Christopher Shannon’s impeccably-shouldered zip up jackets, and, naturally, Raf himself) but this time Raf divided the two back up and played them head to head like atoms in the CERN particle accelerator. Think of the deliberately “ugly” sneakers with the generously-proportioned suits; the neon neoprene gloves with banker’s pinstripe shirts and here, the apex; neoprene shrug, traditional tailored car coat. Too often in fashion, what feels odd usually points the way (think of gladiator sandals for women); too often, Raf just beats a path for everyone else to copy.

7. Rockers tees from Goodhood

I’m not sure if these are past seasons or not. Either way I couldn’t resist putting them on here because a. they are AMAZING and b. have you seen the stock in Goodhood recently? They’ve got some blinders from GASIUS too but then what do you expect from him?

8. Jon Klassen’s illustrations

California-based Jon Klassen’s works are some of the most beautiful drawings I have seen in a long, long stretch of David Shrigley inspired hinterland. These were production ideas and concepts for the film Coraline, which I still haven’t seen yet. I don’t really know what Coraline does or who she is, but these warm, dusty and nocturnal images are exactly what I’d want my perfect wintery house to feel like. All tall ceilings, tobacco-coloured printed wallpaper, wooden floorboards and slightly 30s kitchens.

His work is just absolutely amazing and I’d quite like to live inside it:

9. Elizabeth & James A/W 09

Three words– OLSEN TWINS MENSWEAR.

If APC came up with this you’d be queing round the block.

10. Ayame socks

Another classy thing from oki-ni. Apparently John wears his all the time which is a ringing endorsement if ever I needed one…

Pare proprio che questa volta Sweet Devil e Ayame, rispettivamente founder del Writer’s Temple e Writer’s Dream forum abbiano sepolto l’ascia di guerra.
Come lo so?..non è questo il punto miei cari. Il punto è, cosa porta due persone che si detestano (oh, ti prego Ayame, non venirmi a dire che non ce l’avevi con SweetDiavolo, sappiamo entrambe che non è così) a coalizzarsi.
Un nemico comune? o semplicemente non ce la facevano più a combattere?
Pare, che la nostra diavoletta, un po’ scontenta del fatto che il suo forum sia stato pubblicamente attaccato (per l’ennesima volta, aggiungerei) da Ayame (il tutto QUI:*) , ha pensato bene di contattarla attraverso msn, per un face to face senza precedenti.
Che delusione sapere che hanno affrontato il tutto in modo civile e soprattutto che ora sono come Pappa e Ciccia..o meglio CULO e CAMICIA (a voi la scelta di chi è chi).
Come sempre, voglio sottolineare che qui non si fanno preferenze (o forse si, diciamo che Ayame mi tratta bene e io apprezzo i complimenti ;D).
Naaa, sapete tutti che quello che mi preme è farvi sapere come vanno le cose..e essere etichettata come “Plagiatrice” è alquanto bislacco, soprattutto per Ayame, che ha sempre cercato di stroncare gli aspiranti forum di scrittura sul nascere, essendo quasi tutti copie del WD (magari con una grafica leggermente migliore, ma qui va a gusti..).
Ma lo devo proprio dire: il fatto che una “quasi trentenne” sia ancora qui a prendersela perchè una “diciassettenne” ci sa fare fa proprio ridere, e, è ancora più triste il fatto che abbia il coraggio di sostenere che lei “ Non vuole perdere tempo dietro una ragazzina“…
Cara Maki, ti do un consiglio, la prossima volta che decidi di -Lasciar Perdere Una Persona- abbi almeno la decenza di non scrivere niente riguardo quest’ultima e di non fare la Wittima (Web+Vittima).
In conclusione, Maki ha paura che qualcuno (Ayame) le rubi la scena.
Sù, diamo tutti una calorosa pacca sulla spalla di Maki, sorella la vita è breve, e non è una gara; o perlomeno.. non una che vincerai ;D

   Iris is a genus of between 200-300 species of flowering plants with showy flowers.  It takes its name from the Greek word for a rainbow, referring to the wide variety of flower colors found among the many species.  As well as being the scientific name, iris is also very widely used as a common name; for one thing, it refers to all Iris species, though some plants called thus belong to other closely related genera.

  In Japan, there are three varieties of irises which the term “Japanese iris” encompasses : Hanashobu, Kakitsubata, and Ayame. They are cultivated in gardens or growing wild in Japan. Besides, there is another kind of plant which has been called ‘Shobu’, or ‘Ayame’ , or ‘Ayamegusa’  since the ancient days of Japan. This is because it is similar to iris in the form of its leaves.

   Would you please look at the picture below and guess which flowers of the four types above mentioned were taken?

   As you guess, they are Hanashobu. This picture was taken at Koizumigata Park　(小泉潟公園) in Akita.

  By the way, let me tell you about those three kinds of Japanese iris and another kind of plant called “iris” in the ancient times of Japan.

  The 1^st kind of iris is the Hanashobu （ハナショウブ, 花菖蒲, Iris ensata var）, growing in the wet land. It is the most extensively cultivated variety in Japanese gardens.

  The 2^nd kind of iris is the Kakitsubata (カキツバタ, 杜若, Iris laevigata), growing in the semi-wet land.  It is less popular, but is also cultivated extensively.

  The 3^rd kind of iris is the Ayame.(アヤメ, 菖蒲, 文目, Iris sanguinea) typically growing wild on the dry land in Japan.

　The 4^th  plant doesn’t belong to the kind of iris but is called ‘Shobu’ (ショウブ、菖蒲)  in Japanese, or ‘Ayame’ ( あやめ), or ‘Ayamegusa’ ( あやめ草)  in the old Japanese terms. This is a plant called ‘Sweet flag’ belonging to the Acoraceae family, Calamus, and known for its fragrant roots, rather than its flowers.

   The 1^st kind of iris, Hanashobu are wonderful garden plants.  As the word Iris means rainbow, irises come in so many colors: blues and purples, whites and yellows, pinks and oranges, browns and reds, and even blacks.  The genus Iris has about 200 species and is native of North Temperate regions of the world.

  Around the middle of June, I visited such Iris Garden and took some pictures.

  Taking a stroll around the Iris garden,  I hit upon the following haiku:

雨上がり七色深し花あやめ 

Ama agari　nanairo fukashi  hanaayame

   In 1803 Kobayashi Issa (小林一茶)(1763-1827), one of the most popular haiku poets in Japan, wrote the following haiku:

    垣津旗よりあの虹は起りけん

Kakitsubata yori ano niji wa okoriken

Irises―

  from which that rainbow

rises

 In this haiku of Issa’s, he used another Kanji characters ‘ 垣津旗‘ instead of

 ‘杜若‘ (Kakitsubata).  

  David G. Lanoue interpreted about this haiku as follows:

  Issa imagines that the rainbow has arisen from blooming irises—the intense, showy colors of the flowers continuing in bold streaks upward, into the sky, forming the rainbow.  It is interesting that “iris” derives from the Greek word for “rainbow.”  Issa could not have known this, but he intuits the same connection that exists in many Western languages.  The rainbow is in the sky; irises are rainbows on earth.

   In 1689 Matsuo Basho (松尾芭蕉) crossed the Natori River and entered Sendai, Miyagi on ‘ The Narrow Road to Oku.’  It was the day they celebrate by converting their roofs with ‘Sweet flags’, or Calami’ (あやめ). He visited there around the time of the Sweet Flags Festival (あやめの節句)(5^th day of Fifth Month, also called the Boy’s Festival), when sweet flags were displayed on the eaves of houses to drive away evil spirits, or they took “Shobuyu, or 菖蒲湯 (bath with floating sweet flag leaves)” baths. The leaves keep mosquitoes and snakes away with strong fragrance.  As the strong fragrance was believed to drive away bad air, people began to take baths with sweet flag leaves. Furthermore, the plant ‘Sweet Flag’ was believed to be a symbol of the samurai’s bravery because of its sharp sword-like leaves. Even now many families with young boys enjoy “Sweet Flag Bath(shobu yu)” in the Boy’s Festival on May 5.

   At that time Basho’s host, the painter Kaemon(加右衛門), had given him sandals with blue cords. So in ‘The Narrow Road to Oku.’ Basho praises Kaemon for being an exceptional follower of ‘Furyu(風流)’, writing his following haiku:

あやめ草足に結ばん草鞋の緒

Ayamegusa asi ni musuban waraji no o

  Donald Keene translated this haiku into English:

                                                         I will bind iris

Blossoms round my feet―

Cords for my sandals!

   Kaemon presented Basho with such sandals, praying for safety on theroad. That was because sandals with blue cords like sweet flag kept Basho from being in dangerous conditions.  But Basho highly appreciated Kaemon’s   spirits of poetry.  And Donald Keene used the words ‘Iris blossoms’,  not the words ‘Sweet flag stems’ in his translation.  Certainly this makes Basho’s haiku more poetic and literary.

   Last of all, let me refer to  another haiku of Basho’s.    　

    花あやめ一夜に枯れし求馬かな

      Hanaayame ichiya ni karesi motome kana

Motome―

Iris withered

                                                              only in one night

    In 1688, on the fourth day of May, Basho enjoyed the Kabuki drama by Motome, one of the most beautiful, young Kabuki players at the Osaka Kabuki theater.  Just on the following day Motome suddenly passed away.  Basho grieved over the unexpected death of his favorite Kabuki player, and he composed haiku for him. He compared Motome’s sudden death to the iris’ withering which usually happens only in one night. Strangely enough, Motome passed away just on the day before the Ayame Festival was held. Maybe Motome faded away just as a rainbow disappears so suddenly.

   Let me show you such a sudden withering ‘Ayame’ faces  in the following picture.

Since all of my friends that don’t listen to JRock think that every single member of every single visual kei/JRock band looks like a female, I’ve decided to compost a list of male members of these bands that actually do look like women. I picked a top five, but I personally only think the first three resemble girls. I could still tell that the last two were guys — even when I first saw them. But they do still have a certain girliness about them. On to the list!

Name: ヒザキ / Hizaki

Band: HIZAKI grace project / Versailles -Philharmonic Quintet-

Definitely the most beautiful boy I have ever, ever, ever seen and ever, ever, ever will see. The only thing that keeps me from believing that he’s a woman is his voice. Don’t believe me? YouTube search “HIZAKI grace project interview.”

Band: Antic Cafe (formerly)

Position in band: guitarist

His look will fool you. His attitude will fool you. He’s constantly wearing pink and making sure his hair is perfect. Everything about him is girly — except for his voice. Listen to the song “My Favorite Beat” by Antic Cafe to hear his manliness.

Name: マナ / Mana

Band: Moi dix Mois / Malice Mizer

Position in band: guitarist / keyboardist / bassist / drummer

Mana, often considered the starter of Japan’s Gothic Lolita fashion scene, is often seen wearing frilly black dresses and dark make up. If you want to hear his voice, YouTube search “Mana talks.” (He usually never speaks.)

Name: 彩雨 /Ayame

Band: Matenrou Opera

Position in band: keyboardist

Like I said, I don’t think he looks too feminine — but I can see how anyone else might, considering the way he dresses and his gorgeous blue eyes. I’m not too sure what his voice sounds like, but he’s definitely a guy.

Name: 麗 / Uruha

Band: the GazettE

Position in band: guitarist

I honestly didn’t want to put Uruha on this list, because I knew he was a man since the first time I saw him. The only “girly” thing about Uruha is the fact that he enjoys wearing skirts. Listen to the song “The End” by the GazettE to hear his voice.

Woo! So that about wraps up the list of sexy womanly men. Pretty much every other male JRocker out there does indeed look like a male. And if you don’t think so, you’re crazy and you’re not looking hard enough.

e aqui vai mais uma delas.

os caidos, de demonios que prometem ser chatos e iritantes e eles estão divididos em 5 tipos de caidos.

primeiro temos os Imps, que são os mais comuns entre os Caidos. São pequenos e avermelhados, atacam em bandos e são sedentos por sangue… porem covardes

segundo tempo os sacerdotes shamans que estão sempre ao meio dos acampamentos dos Caidos e provavelmente teram a abilidade de ressucitar Imps mortos

em terceiro lugar os Lunaticos criaturas de tamanho descomunal estão aparemtementes inchadas a ponto de explodir, são demonios dementes vão balançando em direção a suas vitimas para que para que se suicidem, explodindo. Não existe nome mais adequadro para tal criaturas.

os Overseer comanda os seus pequenos imps e os leva ao frenezi com seus saltos e grunidos simiescos. um Oveseer entre um grupo de caidos impoem um perigo, já que o medo de seus irmãos sobresai de sua covardia que os caracterizão

e por utimo os Hounds. Estas abominações babantes se encontram com frequencia entre os grupos de caidos e server a seus demonios amos se animais de guarda, animais de carga. estas bertas são execivamente fieis a pesar dos abusos que são submetidos

This young lady is one of the key NPCs in the L5R game that is currently running, and currently 3rd in line for the empire.  This character sheet is missing some information because I don’t currently have access to the books to figure out what some of the things on her sheet mean.

Ayame was raised in the Dragon lands with her father, the emporer’s cousin, and her mother, a Kitsuki courtier.  Her parents were killed by invading shinobi, as was her retinue.  Currently she is traveling with the PC party, who are escorting her to a family friend living in the Mantis islands.

Appearance: Average height (5′5″), slight build (115 lbs), long silky black hair.  One eye is brown, the other is bright yellow.  She has soft features, and aside from the discolored eye, she is remarkably pretty.

Foi postado hoje no site oficial mais uma nova classe do jogo, o arquivista, alem das outras 3 classes ja divulgada, Barbaro, Mago e Medico Bruxo. no site temos o seguinte texto a respeito de nossa mais nova classe.

“Nos meus escritos, tenho dito histórias sobre o bárbaro e suas intermináveis batalhas contra os demônios do norte gelado, tenho dedicado páginas inteiras para os magos de Caldeum que usam forças de gelo e fogo. Mas o poder destes heróis não é nada comparado com o poder dos arquivistas da Fronteira Oeste. Estas almas corajosas atacam na batalha brandindo um livro e uma caneta, não vão armados com cotas ou chapas encantadas, mas com o conhecimento das gerações passadas. Arquivistas lutam não só para o nosso futuro, mas também pelo nosso passado.

Meu primeiro encontro com um arquivista teve lugar nas ruínas da capital Travincal. Enquanto explorava um templo de abandonada há muito tempo, eu vi o fraco brilho da luz de uma tocha através de uma porta a uma distância e, em seguida, como já abordado silenciosamente, o som de uma voz. se poderia sentir o ar na iminência de uma ameaça e um impulso eléctrico perto de mim arrepiou os pêlos de meu pescoço. Avancei lentamente, respirei fundo, apreciam a segurança que me deu as sombras do que muito longo corredor. E então eu o vi.

Eu sinto grande respeito por arquivistas, estes guerreiros míticos e lendarios. Sabemos os seus nomes: Dois Alimet Plumas, um mestre da iluminação ambidestro, Morienne o secretário, uma parteira cuja poesia rouba o coração de reis e tiranos move e Salazar Cid, o capitão das copias de Gea Kul, cuja linda caligrafia é conhecidas em todas as terras e mares e para muito além. Mas estes são apenas alguns dos eleitos. O honorável membros da sua fraternidade, e muitos estão se tornando mais numerosas.
Nos dias sombrios de medo e estão dispostos a chegar, muitas decisões são tomadas espadas e machados, aço e feitiços, mas penso que a nossa sobrevivência reside no pergaminhos e livros.”

The concluding episodes of Asu no Yoichi weren’t too shabby in my opinion, a second season might be required to tie up loose ends.

There was a fair amount of humor involved in the final episodes, from the maids who wield guns which shoot cork to the butler clones which repeat themselves. It was also amusing that Yoichi converted Saginomiya in an instant and overpowered him.

Other than that, 11 and 12 failed to further develop any relationships between the characters as they were focused on Ibuki’s rescue, hence leaving the pairings unresolved. I don’t think that Asu no Yoichi had much fanservice other than the beach episode, however, it finally dawned upon me that Tsubasa is charming in her work outfit only after the final episode. Her fighting outfit on the other hand is just plain ugly in my opinion.

Nevertheless, the series as a whole was good considering that Yoichi’s lines are interesting at times and the humor is relatively decent. I wouldn’t be sure if there would be a second season as the anime adaptation makes me think that it’s a one-shot deal with the merging of several parts of the manga.

Anyway, who’s the person who appeared shortly after Yoichi and gang fell into the lake. Does this indicate a second season? D:

Nerdisse ou verdade? Um fã da série relatou para o blog Diablo Watch um fato curioso que lhe aconteceu enquanto jogava Diablo 2, o cara conseguiu a DOL Rune e a experimentou até dar pane no jogo, foi quando apareceu este curioso código de erro.:

Uma curiosidade sobre a data, 09/09/09 ao contrário dá 666 the number of the beast, de fato um dia conveniente para lançar este jogo. Caso verdadeira esta notícia será motivo de felicidades para todos os amantes da série que neste caso chegaria mais cedo que o esperado.

Asu no Yoichi! 10 at CoalGuys

Again, sorry for the late post.

This episode felt a little different from the previous ones as the focus shifts from relationship development to the the villains.

Ukyo blames Yoichi when Ibuki doesn’t recognise him and hteir promise to get married in the future. Qutie obviously Ukyo’s obsession with Ibuki is the cause of this confusion, this was probably hinted by his sister this at the end of the previous episode. The Saginomiyas play a cheap trick, hindering Yoichi’s mobility. Yoichi faces his old adversaries again to save the Ikarugas but the hired assassin who never made it to town made an appearance when Yoichi was near physical exhaustion. Ayame saves him though; I always thought she knew nothing about martial arts and merely helped out with menial chores in the dojo.

The episode basically revealed Ukyo’s intentions and showed a lengthy fight scene between Yoichi and many assassins. Though Yoichi survived through the ordeal, it didn’t seem very much convincing without bloodshed. However I’m glad some questions I had were answered. Yoichi wasn’t that airheaded as he seems to be as he was able to identify Ayame as a shy person which despite her convincing rude facade.

Now that the show’s headed into a serious conflict between the Ikaruga/Karasuma and Saginomiyas, I doubt any hope of proper relationship developments. The truth behind the Ikaruga and Saginomiya would be revealed so relationship developments would best be left for a second season, if there ever will be one.

I’ll be reading the manga when the anime is over and make comparisons of the upcoming episodes with the manga chapters since I’ve read that the anime mixed several plot events into one in this episode and omitted others like Angela being at the resort. As of now, I wouldn’t bother spoiling myself with future content as I still enjoy how the anime is.

Since the CoalGuys are moving a bit slowly lately, I’ll go ahead and post Chihiro’s release of Asu no Yoichi 10.
