Se spune că suntem inteligenţi, uimitori, unii dintre noi chiar genii; suntem frumoşi şi capabili de lucruri măreţe; uneori putem fi malefici sau putem privi cu răutate spre fericirea celui de lângă noi, dar un singur lucru ne este greu să-l recunoaştem: suntem vulnerabili.

Tot ce este în jurul nostru ne influenţează într-un fel sau altul şi, la un moment dat, ajungem să ne înclinăm în faţa acelui ceva fără de care nu putem trăi nici măcar o clipă. Pentru unii este o ea cu păr mătăsos şi ochi calzi, pentru alţii se cheamă pasiune, iubire, artă sau familie. Nu contează forma, în fond mereu va fi cineva sau ceva care ne va îngenunchia şi care se va bucura într-un mod egoist de vulnerabilitatea noastră.

Puternici sau nu, tot vulnerabili suntem, pentru că sentimentul vine din interior şi nu din capacitatea noastră de a controla emoţiile. Dacă vrem putem face orice, dar întrebarea este: oare vrem?!? Care este punctul în care raţiunea stă faţă în faţă cu emoţiile care ne încearcă şi ce şanse are să câştige? În final nici nu contează, rezultatul este doar o iluzie.

E ca atunci când spui nu-mi pasă, dar toată ziua te gândeşti “oare ar fi trebuit să-mi pese?”. Sau ca în primele zile fără nicotină. De câte ori a fost nevoie să vă repetaţi în gând ”nu mai fumez” pentru a rezista tentaţiei?

Pentru că pot fi controlate, dar nu uitate, tot timpul vom tânji după sentimentul din acea zi, acea clipă sau acel moment în care raţiunea nu mai avea nici o şansă în faţa noastră. După clipa în care ne-am simţit liberi, fericiţi, iubiţi sau protejaţi. Dar a fost doar o clipă şi, oricât am vrea să revenim la momentul acela, sentimentul va fi unul diferit.

Mi-e dor de clipele în care nu-mi păsa de nimic, de serile în B52 în care fumam şi beam cola cu prietenii sau de zilele în care mergeam la repetiţiile unei trupe “wana be”. Mi-e dor de emoţiile unui examen sau de bârfele de prin terase. Mi-e dor de vară şi de tot ce mă făcea vulnerabilă.

Scriam aici despre lansarea actiunii Uniti sub tricolor sustinuta de Noii Golani. Luni seara in B52, pe undeva prin zona Cismigiu este lansat si cd-ul si se sarbatoreste cu un concert la care participa Bitza, Dagga sau Grupul de rezistenta. Daca nu v-ati rezervat deja cd-ul, face 10 lei la intrare. Spuneam si acum o vreme ca banii stransi sunt destinati unui liceu din Basarabia, mai exact Lucian Blaga.

Dupa concert oamenii se duc in Chisinau pt. a sarbatorii Ziua Nationala a Romaniei. Eu nu am pasaport si nu stau superb financiar sa imi fac la urgent, asa ca nu va bazati si pe mine, dar cred ca o sa fie super.

Nu stiu daca am spus pana acum cat de mult tin la facultatea mea. Mi-am dorit sa intru aici,am fost extrem de fericita si totusi … parca sunt de pe Luna in ultimul timp. Ca sa explic : eu mereu intram pe forum sa vad ce se mai intampla,sa mai vorbesc cu oamenii aia dar cum in ultima vreme am avut o groaza de chestii pe cap nu am mai intrat. Aaaaand,guess what? Intr-o saptamana a fost mega-petrecerea FCRP in B52 + intalnirea celor care sunt la ID. Imi vine sa-mi smulg parul din cap si sa-mi trag palme!

Who knew that the threat posed by the American Midwest warranted a nuclear deterrent? Apparently a crew at Minot Air Force Base in North Dakota did.

News reports revealed today that, in what can only be described as an unbelievable blunder, Air Force personnel allowed a B-52 bomber to fly from North Dakota to Louisiana last week armed with nuclear cruise missiles. The incident has provoked a massive response from top officials: Defense Secretary Gates and President Bush were notified, an investigation launched, disciplinary action taken against the Air Force personnel involved, an inventory underway of all Air Force nuclear weapons, and a halting of all fighter and bomber flights on Sept. 14.

The incident also raises the question of exactly when, where, and under what conditions US aircraft are allowed to be armed with nuclear weapons. Retired Air Force Major General Don Shepperd remarked in a CNN report on the story that “…the United States had agreed in a Cold War-era treaty not to fly nuclear weapons. ‘It appears that what happened was this treaty agreement was violated,’ he said.”

The CNN report isn’t clear on what “Cold War-era treaty” he’s referencing. However, an article from the Global Security Newswire provides a more in-depth and convincing explanation:

The risk of flying accidents, however, led the United States to abandon all nuclear-armed bomber flights in 1968, according to Hans Kristensen, a nuclear weapons expert with the Federation of American Scientists.

Until then, the Air Force kept about 12 strategic bombers in the air at all times, with each one usually carrying two to four nuclear gravity bombs. Several accidents occurred (see GSN, June 20, 2005), including a crash in Spain in 1966 and then a crash at an air base in Greenland on Jan. 21, 1968. The plane’s nuclear weapons did not explode in the latter incident, but their radioactive fissile material was dispersed at the crash site.

Defense Secretary Robert McNamara that day ordered the grounding of all nuclear-armed aircraft, a policy that has continued for four decades. Instead of flying with nuclear weapons, armed bombers were kept on alert on the ground with flight crews nearby to enable the planes to take off within minutes, if necessary.

In 1991, President George H.W. Bush reduced the bomber alert status further by ordering nuclear weapons to be removed from the aircraft and kept in nearby storage facilities.

The GSN description seems to indicate that the ban on flying nuclear-armed aircraft was the result of a DoD Directive or Executive Order. It’s worth noting that a separate GSN article from March reported that the US will soon end its use of nuclear cruise missiles pursuant to the 2002 Moscow Treaty. Perhaps this is the “Cold War-era treaty” mentioned by Shepperd.

Intanto c’è chi anticipa i tempi dei programmi scolastici e, senza dover aspettare il Barbarossa ancora doppiato in semplice italiano, gioca per diletto su Youtube a ridoppiare i film celebri e di ogni genere, da Guerre Stellari a Grease, dal Signore degli Anelli a Full Metal Jacket, da 300 a Shining. Avvertenza: dal doppiaggio in veneto o lombardo al riadattamento il passo è immediato, e si finisce per cambiare le carte in tavola. Ci si imbatte subito nella parodia o nella violenza, come se il dialetto non reggesse altri registri, o almeno non suscitasse altre letture negli autori dei video.

Uno di questi celebri riadattamenti è appunto Ramboso, dove il reduce dal Vietnam è in realtà un barista di cocktail in cerca di lavoro, come spiega Stallone nella prima scena a una donna di colore intenta a stendere i panni: «So fare il B52, il Manhattan, So fare anche il Negroni, senza offesa, eh signora». L’epica del reduce respinto dalla società finisce in un trionfo di battute e lazzi sul bere e sul proibizionismo. Più che Roma, è ladrona Astemiopoli, la città analcolica di Astemiopoli, e Ramboso ci arriva proprio durante il periodo della fiera dell’acqua. Vallo spiegare allo sceriffo però. Il suo vanto è la patente sospesa per tre volte: «E ora, guida in stato de ebbressa uno, guida in stato de ebressa due, e guida imbriago marso, e là go pagà da bever a tutti».

Un’altra mancanza alcolica (sempre in attesa del liberatore Alberto da Giussano di Martinelli) terrorizza i bravi tosi. Quella della birra: «E qui del patronato, i me voe far bere spuma e chinoto!», «Noooo! I me fa schifo!» urla la folla veneta ne gli Uoriors, il riadattamento dei Guerrieri della notte di Walter Hill. Anche per Uoriors l’affetto conterraneo arriva subito: «Ea bira nea ga ciavà i’tajani!!!» ma anche «can dal porco proprio beo sto video bravo canaia».

Quando si prova a tradurre un musical i dilettanti allo sbaraglio fanno fatica: il kitch impomatato di John Travolta in Grease, mentre osserva Olivia Newton John completamente cambiata, si risvolve in un «Cesira! ke figa dio te me tira al cuuuuuuucooo!!!!!!». Oltre agli applausi per le inevitabili battutacce, nei commenti su Youtube appaiono anche altre considerazioni. Un commento al femminile prova a ripararsi dalla pioggia fitta di parolacce e bestemmie: «Io sono veneta però una roba che non mi piace del mio dialetto è che si dicono tante bestemmie e parolacce… io non le dico ma sono contenta di essere veneta». Poi però nei commenti si passa agli insulti: «In Italia ghe xe tanti bei diaetti, a scomissiar dal veneto e dal romàn. ma el napoetàn fa proprio cagàr! Me par der sentir i marochini».

A rifare Grease sono quelli di http://www.pissio.it. Hanno un pubblico dove il meno entusiasta dei commenti per la lingua usata è «W i veneti! semo i mejo! fora l’italia dal Veneto!!!!!». La riprova è Ufficiale e gentiluomo con Richard Gere e Louis Gossett Jr. Si saveva che quest’ultimo, il black sergent Foley, fosse molto ufficiale e zero gentiluomo, ma non a questi livelli:«Negro dio can! A te staco na recia dioehh, a te dò na man de bianco dioehh!! A mi co vedo i negri a me gira i cojoni». E giù un plebiscito di commenti incattiviti contro i terroni.

Violenti o meno, i coloriti ridoppiaggi più che di Zanzotto o Meneghello si dichiarano figli degli sfoghi fuori onda ma in rigoroso veneto del pacato Germano Mosconi, storico giornalista e conduttore tv della veronese TeleNuovo. Erano gli anni 80, gli stessi del bidello abruzzese Mario Magnotta, i cui sacramenti nacquero ai tempi delle musicassette. Quindi nulla di nuovo. Meno male, comqunque, che l’israeliano Raz Degan sarà doppiato professionalmente.

For you who haven’t heard of NYX, it is a drugstore line from US that made some really great products, with a very affordable price too. Here in Indonesia, you can find NYX counter on La Piazza, EX (Jakarta) and PVJ (Bandung). I don’t know about other cities, but it definitely has broaden its market here, so check it on your nearest mall.

Here’s the list of what I ordered:

1. NYX Rouge Cream Blush in Tea Rose

I love cream blush, as for me, the finish is way more natural than powder blush. So I have to try this. They come in a range of ten lovely colors, but the ones that are available in Indonesia are only: Natural, Glow, Orange, and Hot Pink. Knowing that, I decide to order Tea Rose.

I love  it’s dove black packaging, giving the product some sort of sleek look. It’s small enough to carry everywhere, the lid is sealed great, so you don’t have to worry about it accidentally open and stain your purse or cosmetic bag.

The blush itself is very pigmented. I once applied it with my finger very light-handedly, and still got too much on (it is super creamy). I ended using my blush brush to pick the littlest amount of product, stipple it onto my cheek, and then blend. It gives me matte finish, but not dead matte, glowy maybe? The color is definitely buildable if you want more dramatic color.

Wearing only this on your cheeck under the powder is enough to give some healthy blush, but it is also great as blush base. This, some loose powder, then some dusts of powder blush on top, last me a whole day.

Tea Rose is a peach tan color on my cheek. I think it’ll be a great blush for someone a bit more tanned than I am (am NC35), but still, I like it. It’s very wearable everyday color. It’s versatile enough to go with any looks you have in mind.

2. NYX Concealer Jar, in Medium

NYX Concealer Jar, Medium

I use this as my undereye concealer. It has medium coverage, enough to cover my not-so-dark-but-still-visible circle under my eye. the texture is rather thin and easy to blend, which make it even more perfect for undereye (thick products will make your eyes look masky, and minimum amount of blending is preferable, since the eye area is so sensitive to tugs and brushes).

I don’t use this on my blemishes though. It contains mineral oils, and my skin is annoyingly intolerant to it. The slightest amount of mineral oil, and boom..acne army. = =” But if you have no problem with it (lucky you!), I say go for it, this little gem is definitely worth to try.

The shade Medium has a tinge of yellow undertone to it, and it matches my NC35 skin perfectly. Yay.

3. Lip Gloss with Megashine in Natural

Oh my Pretty God.. This aint just a lip gloss.. This is more like liquid lipstick with shine! Sooo pigmenteedd! The color you get on your lips is exactly the color on the tube. And it doesn’t have that gooey sticky yucky yuck texture that glosses usually have. It lasts a reasonable hour, definitely non-drying, and gives my lips that healthy sheen without looking too oily. Oh am in love!

What might be a downside to some people, is that it has quite strong scent. It smell like sorbet, or some sweet desserts, am not sure what, but it sure gets me hungry. I have no problem with the smell, but if you don’t like scented products, then I guess this gloss is not for you.

Natural, just as the name describes, is a very natural lip color. The kind of color that everybody can wear and still looks great. I’m considering to stock up on this shade. Haha.

4. Round Lipstick

Best drugstore lipstick I’ve ever tried. It’s super creamy upon application, and non-drying would be an understatement, it’s moisturizing! It has some faint floral scent, but nothing bothering, since the scent only last few minutes. And best of all, it has the variety of 144 colors for us to choose and play around..Yay for options! What might be their downside is, the lasting color is not that great. I have to reapply it after 3-4 hours, and yes it’ll fade after you eat or drink, like most lipstick. But don’t get me wrong, am not complaining about it, the fun thing about lipstick is applying them. LOL.

This time, I bought this in Tea Rose, Femme, Milan, and B52.

Tea Rose is a dusty pink with some rosey colour on it. It was the first shade I bought (I’ve finished the tube!) and since I love the colour so much, I repurchase. It has the correct amount of brightness for me. Not bright enough that your lips scream ‘look-at-me-am-wearing-pink-lipstick’, but enough to brighten your lips. You can see that I bought two of them in the top most pic, one of them is for my friend. Hope she’d love it too. Here’s a pic of it under natural light (pardon my stupid auto focus).

Femme is a bright bright color. It is orange with reddish tint. It is too bright for me, am planning to sending it to my friend.

B52 is their best selling shade, it has some mauve, some brown, and hint of rosey pink. It’s a YLBB color on me. If I want a color that’s just a tad darker than my natural lip color, this is the shade I’ll go to. I think it’ll go with any skin color too, you should give  this shade a try.

Milan looks very much like B52, but with more mauve+rose, and less brown. I like it, but since it’s almost the same shade with B52, am gonna send this one to my friend also, I know she’d love it!

Ajungem si la ultima parte din trilogia distratului. Am zis aici cum fu la Liberty si aici cum fu in B52. Acum tastez ce-mi mai aduc aminte in intervalul 3.30 ( cand am plecat din B52 ) si 22.00 ( cam cand am ajuns la jalnicul concert ).

Cand am plecat din B52, cu Sarpe la volan, am oprit in benzinarie sa ne laum niste beri. Eu, Matei si Iulian. Ne-am luat beri pe drum si am mai dat pe gatlej pana cand am adormit toti trei, lasandu-l pe mititelul de 1,94 Sarpe singurel la volan. Nu am dormit foarte mult. Vreo 30 min. Cel putin eu. Ne trezisem complet.

Ne-am cazat. Super pret. Un apartament de 2 camere, de 4 persoane, in care pana la urma am stat sase.

La ora 07.30 eram cazati. La 8.00 eram intr-o terasa sa mancam. Ne-am imprietenit destul de bine cu ospatarita de acolo, astfel incat toata ziua ne-a servit cu bere pe plaja. Venea duduia Mary si ne aducea bere unde stateam noi, aprovizionandu-ne nonstop. Doamne fereste, nu voia sa fim deshidratati.

La masa, amicul Iulian o dadea pe 50 ml de Alexandrion. De doua ori. La fel si Sarpe. Si dam cu bere, dam cu plaja, dam cu apa etc. Tâţe naspa pe plaja. Statiune de batrani Neptun. Nu am vazut nici macar un cur care ar merita o erectie veritabila.

Pe la ora 11.00 avem toti impresia ca este peste 15.00. Am mai mancat o data, am mers acasa unde am dormit vreo 2 ore, dupa ce am baut inca putin. Am mers sa mancam de seara intr-un local al carui nume nu mi-l mai amintesc, dar mancarea a fost buna. Cel putin a mea.

Iulian deja era piftelat. A mai comandat la masa 50 de Zarazza si o sticla de vin. Dupa un pahar de vin si cei 50 ml si-a pus capul pe masa si a bagat somn grupa mare. Asta dupa ce i-a cumparat ospataritei un trandafir si i l-a dat ca venind de la o persoana Anonima. S-a uitat fix la el. S-o fi prins?

Am mancat, am achitat si ne ridicam sa plecam. Iulian inca dormea. Si ce ne-am gandit noi in cap si in mintea noastra: hai sa-l lasam acolo. Si am achitat si nota lui, i-am spus ospataritei de duma si am iesit afara din pub. Nu mai are rost sa zic ca toti se uitau la el, mai ales ca am facut si eu o glumita nevinovata si i-am pus cateva chestii prin cap.

Dupa ce au trecut cele 3 minute ( dupa care-i zisesem ospataritei sa-l trezeasca ) am intrat iar in Restaurant. Ne uitam la ospatarita. Ea: ” Nu pot sa-l trezesc! Nu vrea!!! ” Simtim putin disperarea din vocea ei, dar plecam iar si-l mai lasam acolo 15 minute. Urcam iar, Iulian nemiscat. Incercam sa-l trezim, lumea se uita la noi, nu reusim initial. Se trezeste intr-un final si ne da in pula lui ca el vrea sa doarma acolo.

Vazand ca nu avem ce face, il ridicam pe sus cu tot cu scaun si plecam asa cu el din restaurant. Pe scari se da si el jos de pe scaun, putand astfel sa-l dam inapoi. A urmat dupa experimentul cu Liberty, ca apoi lumea sa tipe “hai in Costinesti” in Cuba sau Club A nu mai tin minte ce se “onomatopeea”

Pe la patru ne-am culcat, nu inainte de a mai bea cate o bere. A doua zi am plecat pe la 11.00, mergand in Scoica unde am mancat o pizza de 50 cm in trei oameni. Bunicica. Si dupa home. Nu inainte de a ne cumpara niste bere pentru drum.

Concluzia zilei la mare? Nota 8+

Dupa experienta pe care am avut-o la mare la Liberty Parade si pe care v-am povestit-o ieri, (inca) pot spune ca a fost un weekend aproape genial. Chiar aveam nevoie de o defulare si asta a fost ocazia perfecta. Inainte de a pleca la mare, am fost pentru prima oara in B52. Cred ca am fost virgina B-ului.

Oamenii vin pe la 23.00-00.00 si vin chiar pentru relax. Am fost sceptic pana acum vizavi de B52, dar mai merge o tura. Acolo se intampla lucruri. ( suna mai bine in engleza: ” Things happen there ” )

Ah, o curiozitate. Pe masura ce beam, tipa de la masa alaturata imi parea tot mai buna. Oare avea vreo vina alcoolul sau trecuse de 12 noaptea si incepuse procedeul de metamorfozare?

Today I want to share one of my biggest love, B52.

B52 is an alcoholic beverage. It takes its name from old american combat plane. The reason for that is this drink includes high amount of alcohol and even tough it tastes sweetened, it hits after few seconds and it hits hard .

B52 is a special cocktail. Its not consumed regularly. You have to use a straw in order not to burn.

Burn?

Yes. This cocktails burns while you drink it.

How to make B52?

Ingredients are Kahlua, Baileys and Cointreau

Firstly we take a shot glass. The putting order is highly important to guarantee their candy – stripe effect.

To begin with we put 1/2 oz of Kahlua in glass.  After that before putting the Baileys we need a spoon. we put the spoon upside down and pour 1/2 oz of Baileys slowly (this is crucial) but very slowly to the spoon. the spoon lightens the falling of Baileys to Kahlua. This allows us not to mix them. After that we pour 1/2 oz of Cointreau on the top with the same method. Cointreau is an orange liqueur which is distilled three times and this specialty allows it to burn. So why shouldn’t we? We light the Cointreau and if it doesn’t burn we turn the shot glass while giving fire. After we finally burn the cocktail, we take the straw, dib it in the cocktail and swallow all the drink at once.

Ps: Be quick or you might burn.
