My friend and I totally disagree on this topic, I lurve skinnies (am a t-shirt & jeans kinda girl.) As far back as I can remember, she has always hated wearing jeans…. so when I told her I was doing this post, this were her exact words….

“You know I’ve always hated wearing jeans….infact hate is not strong enough…I despise jeans…LOL! don’t get me wrong I do love the denim material just not as jeans, I find Jeans so so so so uncomfortable especially when it comes to putting them on!” Gosh how CRAZY is she??

But anyways, just when it seemed all hope was lost the fashion gods created Jeggings… It is a fine line between jeans and leggings, that sometimes have faux pockets and buttons. They are also sometimes washed and ripped at the right places. I like to think of it as the best of both worlds…the comfort of legging and illusion of jeans…PERFECT!

It was date night for Naomi Campbell and her super rich boyfriend Vladislav Doronin sometime last week, but I’m sure Naomi wasn’t too happy to learn that she’s being sued by a fragrance company she worked with!

Apparently the supermodel breached her contract by withholding millions of dollars in profits that she owed the company for a fragrance it helped her develop. Oh dear.

On a lighter note, the fabulous Kimora Lee is getting ready to launch her new perfume called Dare Me, and posted this pic via her Twitter page…

Baby Phat is always one of my favorite shows to cover during New York Fashion Week. You’re almost guaranteed to like what you see both backstage and on the runway.

Some things remain constant, James Kaliardos did makeup for MAC and Odile did hair (check them out in previous seasons here and here), however, who you will see trotting around backstage is always up in the air (this time around Kim Kardashian was backstage doing her thang for Ok! magazine since she’s a contributing beauty editor and all).

According to Kaliardos, “We’re doing a really strong blue eye that has a lavendar in the corner and a gold underneath the brow bone.” Kaliardos used a bold liner on the inner rim of the eyes as well as a peachy color on the cheeks. On the lips was a peachy, sparkley lip gloss.

“Kimora really wanted a really strong sexy look and was inspired by her trip to Morocco,” so think Marisa Berenson and Diahann Carroll in the 70s- really strong and sexy and feminine.

Odile Gilbert is no stranger to fashion week and has coiffed the hair of many a models. For Baby Phat, the hair is very long and very curly withs lots of volume. Odile and her team added one braid going across the head (like a headband).

Odile used Moroccanoil products (love!!!) on all of the models. She prepped hair with Moroccanoil Treatment to hair and extensions then used Moroccanoil Intense Curl Cream. Odile took medium sections of the hair, curled them with a two-inch curling iron and used Moroccanoil Luminous Hair Spray to give it volume. The look was finished with a spritz of Moroccanoil Luminous Hair Spray.

“The hair has to look rich and beautiful,” she told me.

I spoke to CND nail genius Roxanne Valinoti who told me that, for the show, they used a gold overlay but at home this can be easily recreated with CND’s Gold Chrome nailpolish, from the Colour & Effects line.

Hey everyone!

Gosh i havent posted since September :S

Very sorry for that, but anyhoo im not dead if you think i am, no im happily alive and kicking but i’d like to say a massive thank you to everyone who’s been posting in the comments on the blog and sending losts of messages on my guestbook and youtube and also sending really nice friend requests! Sometimes its hard to reply to everyone but i reply to everyone but it might take some time.

So while ive been away theres been lots of changes on stardoll like new Miss Sixty, Baby Phat, Pink for October and the new haloween costumes are out in starplaza too. Ive gotten tons of requests to do a haloween outfit but sorry to say im not going to do it yet, as i’d like it to be closer to the date.

And if you have visted my stardoll page then you should all see that my birthday is on haloween! So yeh . . .

But i would really like to thank everyone whos being really supportive even though i havent replied to all your messages i will, like tonight lol. Today is lelly’s “reply-to-everyone-day”. The reason why i havent been on my blog or in stardoll is because im addicted to something else online but its completely different and has no similarities to stardoll whatsoever! But no worries im still on stardoll

But even though i sometimes just say thanks i really do mean it, im usually a quite shy person but feel free to ask me any question you want aslong it has something to do with stardoll. Soo ive noticed recently overall my videos have 62,000 views which im incredibly happy about and this blog is coming up to 33,000 views and its over 1 year old!! I’ll mabye be having a code competiton soon to celebrate that since i missed to make a post about it, but if your interested about the competition just tell me here on anywhere else!!

Recently on youtube ive came up with an idea on making make-up suited for eye-colours and my first video on this is blue so check it out:

and yay finally youtube have changed the setting and my videos now mostly take up the whole top half of the screen so all my subscribers can see in detail how to do the make-up and everything!
