This Saturday we were a little bored and looked up a event close to Weimar. We quickly found a event in Bad Sulza (a small town to the north east of Weimar). The event was a small fair with live music and since we could travel for free and had nothing else to do we decided to go.

After 15 minutes of train we arrived at Bad Sulza. The station was totally abandoned and it took 10 minutes to see the first car. We stopped the car to ask for the directions to the fair… it was a 20 minute walk through the woods, but the driver offered us a lift. With a car full of international people we were dropped off in front of the “fair”.

The “fair” was in the garden of a house smaller than the one of my grandma and even worse it had already ended.
Al people looked very strange when we walked into the local bar and restaurant.

The village looked very East German and I would recommend going there just to see how it is like outside of Weimar.
