E’ stata chiamata con il nome in codice «Badboys» l’operazione portata a termine ieri mattina (ma i particolari sono stati forniti oggi) dai carabinieri della Compagnia di Lamezia Terme e conclusa con l’arresto di undici persone, 4 delle quali sono state poste agli arresti domiciliari. Nei confronti di altre sette indagati è scattato l’ordine dell’obbligo domiciliare.
Complessivamente sono 18 le persone indagate. Le ordinanze di custodia sono state firmate dal giudice del indagini preliminari del Tribunale di lamezia Terme, Barbara Borelli, su richiesta del sostituto procuratore Alessandra Ruberto che ha coordinato le indagini che sono partite, come ha spiegato il procuratore della Repubblica lametina Salvatore Vitello, da una rapina commessa nel settembre del 2008 ai danni dell’ufficio postale di Via Aldo Moro.
Una indagine che dopo due anni ha portato alla luce un’organizzazione dedita al furto, alle rapine, allo spaccio di sostanze stupefacenti, di cui faceva parte Roberto Amendola il giovane di 23 anni ucciso la sera del 13 novembre dello scorso anno e che era attenzionato dai carabinieri. Intercettando le diverse conversazioni che il giovane Amendola intratteneva con altri a bordo della sua autovettura, gli uomini dell’Arma dei Carabinieri della compagnia di Lamezia, dopo due anni di intenso lavoro, hanno sgominato un organizzazione criminale dedita alle rapine e allo smercio di sostanze stupefacenti. La banda, ha spiegato il sostituto procuratore, compiva le rapine e spacciava droga per soddisfare esigenze personali dei suoi membri. Era un modo indiretto per avere a disposizione del denaro.. Nel mirino degli inquirenti sono finite ben 18 persone, di cui sette sono stati arrestate, quattro sono state sottoposte agli arresti domiciliari e sette all’obbligo di dimora.

Le persone indagate sono Antonio Ventura, 25 anni; Saverio Giampà, 22 anni; Francesca Latelli, 29 anni; Antonio Saladino, 24 anni; Andrea Crapella, 23 anni; Gianpietro Bertuca, 43 anni; Giuseppe Mercurio, 54 anni.
Nei confronti di questi è stato emesso un provvedimento restrittivo in carcere. Mentre Davide Giampà, 20 anni; Salvatore Mano, 23 anni; Agostino Mano, 47 anni; Giuseppe Costantino, 25 anni, sono stati posti agli arresti domiciliari. Nei confronti di Damiano Scalise, 28 anni; Agostino Cerminara, 26 anni; Francesco Staglianò, 25
anni; Stefano Mazzocca, 19 anni; Damiano Bevilacqua, 28 anni; Pasquale Bentornato, 26 anni; Pietro Paolo Mascaro, 24 anni, è stato emesso il provvedimento dell’obbligo di dimora.
I diciotto soggetti colpiti dalla misura restrittiva, tutti di origine lametina, sono accusati a vario titolo ed in concorso tra loro di furto aggravato, tentata rapina e rapina ad uffici postali, detenzione ai fini di spaccio e spaccio di stupefacenti nel periodo settembre 2008 dicembre 2008. Nel corso dell’attività investigativa condotta dai militari del Nucleo operativo della locale compagnia, sono state scoperte 8 rapine tra tentate e consumate per un bottino complessivo di circa 60.000 Euro, sequestrati 5 kg di stupefacenti (marijuana, hascish, cocaina ed extasy), una pistola calibro 7.65 con matricola abrasa con relativo munizionamento, bombe carta ed inneschi vari. Dalle carte emerge «la capillarità di un agire illecito che riempie di contenuto e connota di sè la sfera esistenziale degli indagati, adusi a vivere in una zona di confine con il crimine che irradia tutte le tematiche della loro vita quotidiana, trasformano in normalità l’illecito». Significativi in tal senso, per gli investigatori «sono i diffusi commenti da parte degli indagati circa l’esigenza di ricorrere al crimine per potersi permettere un stile di vita oltre la portata dei singoli indagati, nell’assoluta assenza del disvalore di quanto posto in essere». Dall’inchiesta inoltre emerge che la «commercializzazione di droga nelle scuole (o nelle università con riferimento) sia solo una occasione di facile guadagno, senza che in alcun modo si abbia la benchè minima coscienza dell’allarme sociale connesso alla ideata condotta».

Ok, I get the cheap thing and i’m totally down for the green factor and coming from someone who used to walk ANYWHERE I had to go in this city, i get comfort. But I can’t concur with Birkenstock when they say “cheap, comfortable, and stylish“. If you are really looking for these 3 factors, the better choice would be a cute pair of moccasins. You can find a good quality mocc that will last you forever and is cheaper AND is hella comfortable ANNND most importantly is wayy cuter.

Hatt en skikkelig bra kveld/natt. Ble til at jeg tok et par øl med en fyr, det overhode ikke var planer om å se på en stund. Han overrasker meg hele tiden. Vi ble sittende å snakke om alt. Fra idiotiske mennesker, finans, sex, også lo vi godt av et par fyllehistorier vi begge hadde å fortelle siden sist. Vi har snakket ut og på en måte er jeg glad for det. Jeg fikk han til og med til å holde kjeft og det er det visst svært få som klarer. Han er så søt når han blir flau og jeg fikk han skikkelig flau ^^, Og jeg som trodde gutter digga å snakke om sex. HAHA. Bullshit fra ende til annen. Jeg likte mye av det han hadde å si. Jeg likte å sitte der å drikke øl med han og for første gang virkelig vite at han bare tok øl. Jeg likte å sitte å snakke masse og at han lyttet til hva jeg hadde å si.

Vi diskuterte hvor tragisk det er at jenter faller for badboys, vi diskuterte det meste. Alt fra neste sommer til B-gjengen. Vi diskuterte avrusning og alkoholisme. Vi diskuterte gode idéer til nye bedrifter og vi diskuterte venner. Rett og slett gikk vi igjennom det meste. Han sa hvor glad han er i meg, som en venn og vi pirret hverandre ved å diskutere sex. Vi var begge overbevist om at vi kunne fått den andre til sengs, om vi virkelig ville. Jeg har ledd mer enn jeg har gjort på mange netter og jeg er glad for at han kom hit, selv om det aldri var planer om fyll i kveld. Nå har han dratt og jeg sitter alene igjen og smiler litt for meg selv, mens jeg tar den siste røyken jeg har. Vi har røyka altfor mye og drukket desto mer. Han og jeg har delt nesten en kasse pils og alt jeg har igjen er en bånnskvett fra den aller siste pilsen. Det var en koselig kveld.

- Jeg er så glad i deg. Det er faktisk flaut å si, siden jeg virkelig mener det. Men det jeg må gjøre, det er å ordne opp i livet mitt først. Og jeg har, for første gang, virkelig gode grunner til å gjøre det. Jeg sier ikke at du skal vente på meg. Jeg vil bare at du skal vite det.

I love ‘em badboys.  For the socceroos, there’s Rino Gatusso of the famed Azzuri and AC Milan. Charles Barkley was the funniest, but one of the nastiest, players in the NBA when he was active; Reggie Miller was an assassin with the basketball; and who could forget Barry Bonds? He is, by all accounts, a complete, selfish ass – yet he hits the ball better than anyone else.

Randy Moss is my favorite football player. The guy rocks. While I’m not attracted to his selfishness and propensity to decide when and where he wants to play, I think some of that leads to what I DO like about him.  When Randy was still playing for the Minnesota Vikings, upon clinching a victory over the Green Bay Packers he fake-mooned the Packers fans in the stands.  Although unheard of, for the most part, it was hilarious.  According to Indianapolis Colts head coach Tony Dungy, it stems from a long-standing tradition in which Packers fans moon the buses carrying the visiting team when they come to Lambeau Field. Fox commentator Joe Buck said it was a disgrace. SI columnist Peter King said it was classless.  ESPN refused to show it. All because he pretended to moon a few thousand wholesome mostly white fans who have mooned him about a half-dozen times.  At that moment, he became the most hated guy in Wisconsin.  

He was since then traded to the Oakland Raiders but his talent was wasted there. His effort with the team was in question all along. The guy unquestionably has talent but he is also branded as one of the biggest dicks in the history of the NFL.  While I agree that he wasn’t making too much of an effort while with the Raiders, his performance was also tied to the fact that the team had absolutely no offense and quarterback to get him the ball. He can’t catch what wasn’t thrown to him. The guy was clearly unhappy.  This season, he started playing for the New England Patriots.   Lately, he’s become unstoppable.  

I love Moss because of the the way he plays football. He doesn’t care what defenses throw at him. He’s going to catch the ball, get his yards and score no matter what you do.  He’s one of the most exciting football player to watch. I may not like the Patriots’ especially their quarterback but I’m definitely rooting for him. Randy Moss for the motherfuckin’ win!

My blog posts lately have resembled long IM conversations with myself. I apologize.

6:12am, I am ignoring the fact that I am back at the cube farm in a few hours.

I was going to post something making fun of the Bicycle Music Festival that I accidentally attended part of at Dolores Park on Saturday except I re-read their mission statement and it doesn’t seem that funny anymore. Oh yeah, except that part about how their “bicycle based music” is the ultimate democracy. Or as they say, “With the power of audience veto built in to the festival, it quite literally puts all the power in the hands (and feet) of the audience: democracy at its healthiest you might say.”

I might say that, but I won’t.

Ride your fuckin’ bike if you want to, I don’t care but the whole thing (especially the awful song lyrics about the bike revolution) just made me want to drive. Mostly because I am very contrary. And because I think mass transit is more important.

I BRIEFLY contemplated following the bike music festival to gestalt haus (their next spot) to pick up some environmentally friendly booty, but then I realized I’d have to talk to them, so I got drunk at Fly Bar instead.

I prefer skateboarders and reckless drivers, anyway.
