I hope everyone called their mommy yesterday to wish her Happy Mother’s Day. I know I don’t call my mother enough so it was nice to just talk for a while and appreciate the great things mothers are.

I just finished my Logic final about half an hour ago. I think I did pretty well considering the fact I was coughing and sneezing all day and all night. Factor in the inability to get a few snoozes before the big test also contributed to my tiredness and grumpiness. Ughhhhh…

My first year of college is about to end in four more days and lots of good and bad things happened over the course of the school year. Don’t worry, this isn’t a long and drawn out self-reflection piece about my first eventful year (don’t worry, it’ll come soon!) but just realizing that it’s about to end soon is both a relief and maybe even a little bit depressing. I’ll definitely miss all the friends I’ve made at Hopkins. I do have some regrets though. I regret not hanging out with some people a lot more than I should be, or being such a loner early on and not meeting some fabulous people I met during intersession sooner. But I suppose that’s just the nature of college. Hopefully a year of experience on our belts will help everyone out in the long run; academically, physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Earlier in the day (actually more like 1 or 2 o’clock in the morning) Alex and I kind of reflected, in our own little way, the inanely stupid shit we did over the school year and my knack for having the most imaginative, yet disturbing, images and my innate ability to word them appropriately (for lack of a better word). Alex mentioned how I described a dude’s need to release his load on occasion to the breaking of the Hoover Dam and appropriately associating it with A.J (more on that later). He also reminded me how I like to describe a girl’s beautiful behind as a “ba dong a dong dong” (BAH-DONG-AH-DONG-DONG), the massive amount of the usage of “schlong,” Logan’s overly large penis as “Butch Rigsby” (actually I’ll credit Mike and Alex for this one, good show!), and my sudden urge to say “bow chika wow wow” when a sexually awkward moment occurs (should of said it that one time I walked in on Sean’s booty call, oops). Ming’s use of “lulz” and my need to describe anything awesome as “epic” led to obscene amount of usage of both words (which has become a Hopkins phenomenon actually. I’ll credit Ming on this part).

Though I think about it now, my little meimei Alice really brought the word “phail” up to new heights

I think out of everything that has come out of my horrible, horrible mouth, I’m most famous for saying “it’s over” in situations when complete dominance and supremacy emerges. Be it a killing frenzy in Halo 3, simultaneous gangbang tea-bagging on unfortunate bystanders, or scaring the shit out of Ming (more of Rocky’s doing), an appropriate “it’s over” will suffice to sum up the whole moment.

Despite the notoriousness for saying “it’s over!” when domination and ownage erupts, nothing compares to “Asian doubt” though, probably my greatest creation yet. Originally created to describe Ming’s actions, “Asian doubt” is the inability for an Asian to act on his or her feelings and instincts because he or she over thinks too much and begins to doubt him or herself. This is most assuredly applicable in terms of 1) asking a girl or guy out on a date or 2) almost anything Asians do. That’s why Asians are stereotyped as submissive and pushovers, it’s because of this transition phase from thinking about doing something and actually doing it that causes Asians to doubt themselves.

I guess it would be more appropriate not to coin it just as “Asian doubt,” but it seems more concentrated towards the Asian population than anything else.

Though, of course, I have failed a few times. I recently started using the French word “touché” when someone got owned or dominated but, according to Mike, I was apparently using the word wrong. I bet all those damn French kids were laughing at me when I kept saying touché randomly during Bastille Day. Fuck them.

I’ll say this though; little things like made up words really go a long way in making you appreciate the finer things in life.

Last thought; you know how people jumping from high places like a steep mountain supposedly yell out “GERONIMO!” when they actually jump… why do they do this? Why Geronimo? Why not like “FUCK!” or something catchier? Any answers much appreciated!
