Esta noche han empezado las clases de salsa en el CRJ de Cartagena. Y allí estaban Rodrigo y Amparo. En varias ocasiones os he hablado de ellos y sabéis que no tengo más que elogios. Ahora están dando clases de iniciación en el Centro de Recursos Juveniles, así que a todos aquellos que queráis aprender a bailar ritmos latinos, no solo salsa, o incluso si habéis pensado ir a otro sitio y queréis complementar vuestras clases, en serio, ni lo dudéis. Dan clases los viernes de 22:00 a 23:30 en el CRJ por 20€ al mes.

Esto está dentro del programa T-LA así que podéis pedir allí mismo más información. Y ya que estáis, pásadlo, que se sepa.

 De echo por la visita de tanto turistas, a veces se pierde un poco el sentido original de la celebración, pero aun así sigue siendo una fiesta única.

Las escuelas de samba ,se preparan con casi un año de anticipación ya que ,además de sus bailes,realizan sus vistosos trajes,sus carros alegóricos, en cada escuela participan entre 2000 y 3000 bailarines.

 los bailes son muy llamativos y sensuales. La  fiesta empieza desde el viernes con el baile del Pan de azúcar, luego continua el sábado ,en los locales nocturnos ,llegando el momento cumbre cuando catorce de las mas importantes escuelas de samba llegan al sambodromwww.guiarte.com › … › Río de Janeiro › Qué ver o donde el domingo y lunes se realiza el recorrido con los carros alegóricos ,este evento es muy importante y es transmitido en varios lugares del mundo.

Los trajes de los participantes son de colores muy fuertes ,de colores chillones normalmente las bailarinas traen trajes muy pequeños. ¿Well you know what hombres? This is beginning to get on my nerves: ¡No me gusta bailar! What does this mean then, that I am some kind of modern day “illiterate”? I mean seriously, the way things are going I expect HR managers to start demanding that you have cinco años de baila in your CV before even considering giving it a second look. As to meeting girls, the current situation implies the following: By not being “dance-literate” I am essentially excluded from the dating pool. Why then don’t I try to rectify the situation by taking dance classes? Well the thing is dear reader, I have taken two and was so inept at learning that after a few months I had to quit. I simply could not keep up with the learning pace of my classmates. What if I have been born with an inadequate “muscle memory”? Am I doomed for ever? And yes, my options are not yet exhausted. Under ideal conditions (private instructor, regular training, ample space) I am certain that I could learn. But then why waste so much money, time and effort to learn something which I essentially find unappealing, just to comply with an inane societal trend which essentially does nothing more but to alleviate the huge inferiority complexes of western societies? What I mean by the last sentence is that the average western european/ north american considers his her lifestyle to be inherently stale and boring and will do whatever it takes to mimic the grandeur that is being José de Cincofuentes who raises cattle in the pampas for a living. Because seriously that’s what most people are trying to achieve my dancing salsa, rueda, tango and all that.

Well, muchachos unless you are willing to offer me free private dance courses under my own terms than forget about it. I do not need* your recipes in order to socialize. And I am not a Baschmauer. So get over it please.

Brujas, fantasmas, calaveras, diablos, zombies… todos bailan.

Lo simple elude, lo complicado baila tango.

Hemos regresado del verano con unas ganas locas de bailar, lo sé. Digo que lo sé porque se habían disparado las visitas a la página de Congresos y Festivales.

En vistas de ello, entendiendo que se debía a eso, a las ganas locas por bailar y haciendo exámen de conciencia, he actualizado la lista de próximos eventos que si bien es cierto, estaba un poco obsoleta. Ahora tenemos eventos hasta mayo de 2010 así que a organizarse, haced huecos en vuestras agendas y no dejéis de bailar.

No tengo nada que ver como tiempo, y por eso solo quiero decir que los ticos son obsesiiiiivos con baila swing. Swing de cumbia y swing de la decada 50 en los Estados. También Pizza Hut es el dueño de Mauricio Hoffman. Así es. Yo lo dije. ¡Chao!
