<p>1. Bus DAMRI dari bandara. Seharga 20.0000 rupiah,, bisa duduk di kursi + AC,, klo lagi apes (kayak aku ini) bisa2 ndeprok di lantai.. its OK laah yang penting sampei tujuan dgn selamat. Tapi klo duduk ndlosor kudunya dapet diskon ya?? hehehe</p>
<p>2. KOPAJA. Angkutan umum dengan (katanyaa..) rute terpanjang, terbanyaaak pluusss banyak copetnya. Cuma bayar 2.000 rupiah saja laah, cara ngasi tau si sopir klo kita mw turun gimana?? Ternyata cukup dengan mengetok-ngetok atap bis pake koin receh *ato klo lg gk bawa apa-apa jari pun jadi* canggiiiiiih&#8230;.</p>
<p>3. OJEK. angkutan umum paling private sedunia!! ahahaha tp lumayan mahal juga yah.. IDR tergantung jarak.</p>
<p>4. ANGKOT. Angkot pertama yang kunaiki adalah.. angkot warna merah menyala yg menuju ke arah Ragunan.. Soal harga masih blum jelas, ada yg bilang per orang seribu, ada yg bilang 6 orang cuman goceng. wooow murah yaa? Bandingin ma tarif bemo Surabaya yg jauh-deket ngasi harga 2.900 rupiah..</p>
<p>5. BUSWAY a.k.a. TransJakarta. Public transportation yang paaaling pengen kujajal.. merasakan sensasi berdiri sambil bergelantungan.. hasilnya?? chapeeek bok!! kemeng juga ternyata 1,5 jam lebih bergantung-gantung ria di dalem busway. serasa lagi fitness mbentuk otot lengan ehehehe pemanasan buat menghadapi otbond *alesaann* cuma bayar tiket 3.500 rupiah sekali jalan kalian bisa muter-muter kemana aja..asal gak keluar dari halte. Ada lagi yg bikin capek: jalan melintasi (yang kunamakan) jembatan besi.. wheewww&#8230; bener dah..chapeek.. salut buat orang-orang yg tiap hari bermobilisasi dengan busway dan jalan di halte Dukuhatas!! *plok plok plok plok plok*</p>
<p>hemm hemm udah, itu thok, hahah,, yang belum kucoba adalah naek metromini. Sama apa lagi ya?? ooooh BAJAJ!!! ahahaha iya iya&#8230; kendaran roda tiga satu ituu.. cant wait to ride it!!</p>
<p>Lumayanlah 2 hari keluar mess sambil memetakan jalan + daerah + rute di Jakarta. Special thanks to Dika dan mas Firman yang dengan senang hati memberikan info2 rute  jalan kepadaku =)</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class='snap_preview'><p>India’s southern city of Hyderabad is becoming one of India’s most potent symbols of the greed and corruption that link politicians and businessmen. For the third time in a year, the state has been rocked by a crisis that exposes those linkages – this time over whether Andhra Pradesh should be split in two with the creation of a new state of Telangana based around Hyderabad (white area in map below). </p>
<p>This is a far cry from the glory and international fame of the past 15 or so years when this prosperous capital of the state of Andhra Pradesh became an international symbol of India’s dramatic growth in software, second only to Bangalore as a thriving location for information technology investment. Companies located there include Google and Microsoft, and Bill Clinton visited as US president. </p>

<p> The first of the state’s crises came a year ago with the <a title="Satyam's Raju lifts the lid on corporate fraud" href="http://ridingtheelephant.wordpress.com/2009/01/07/satyam%e2%80%99s-raju-lifts-the-lid-on-indian-corporate-fraud/" target="_blank">collapse of Satyam, a leading Hyderabad-based software company </a>that was owned by the family of its then chairman, Ramalinga Raju. The Rajus were closely linked with various politicians, including the state’s Congress chief minister, Y S Rajasekhar Reddy (YSR), who died in a helicopter crash in September, as well as his predecessor, Chandrababu Naidu. </p>
<p>Politicians are widely believed to have invested their black money in both Satyam and in Maytas Infrastructure, an associated company that received favours on contracts from the state government and drained funds out of Satyam. Both companies (Satyam has now been sold) are now being investigated for massive fraud, and Raju has been detained in jail since January. </p>
<p>Next came <a title="Chief minister's death highlights contradictions of Indian politics" href="http://ridingtheelephant.wordpress.com/2009/09/04/a-chief-minister%e2%80%99s-death-highlights-contradictions-of-indian-politics/" target="_blank">YSR’s sudden death and an immediate attempt by his politically inexperienced 37-year old son, </a>Y.S.Jaganmohan Reddy, to become the chief minister. Jaganmohan, who had built a substantial business empire since his father came to power in 2004, was frenetically backed in a campaign by local businessmen who wanted to protect deals they had struck with his father and to be able to replicate them in the future. </p>
<p>As Bharat Bhushan, editor of India’s <em>Mail Today</em>, put it in an article (&#8220;<a title="click here and go to page 10" href="http://epaper.mailtoday.in/epaperhome.aspx?issue=3102009" target="_blank">Money backs ‘Son-rise’ in Andhra&#8221; &#8211; Oct 3, 2009</a>) that listed many company names, YSR secured the loyalty of his supporters not by giving them lucrative government jobs, which is common practice across the country, but by facilitating opportunities for developing new businesses, especially  in booming Hyderabad. </p>
<p>“YSR converted his key supporters into businessmen, industrialists, contractors and realtors,” wrote Bhushan. “Their loyalty to the party, or the leader, was based on pure economic interest. YSR rewarded them with contracts in state sponsored irrigation projects…….highway projects, real estate activities, development of Special Economic Zones, land grants and housing schemes in urban as well as rural areas…… </p>
<p>“It has taken decades for Indian entrepreneurs like the Tatas, Birlas, Ambanis and Bajajs to convert family businesses into billion dollar corporations. The Congress Party under YSR in Andhra showed us that this could be done in barely five years.” </p>
<p>These are the businessmen who are now resisting the demands for a Telangana state. Coming from Andhra’s coastal regions, they mostly belong to the Reddy and Kamma upper castes that must now be ranked along with India’s more famous business castes and communities such as the Marwaris of the north and the Chettiars of the south. </p>
<p>They fear that the dispute will lead to a crash in Hyderabad real estate values and a cutback on infrastructure projects – and that they might be driven out of the capital by the new Telangana rulers. </p>
<p>Among the most powerful anti-Telangana politicians is Lagadapati Rajagopal, founder-chairman of the rapidly growing Lanco infrastructure, power and construction group and a Congress MP, whose development plans in and around Hyderabad would be hit hard if the state split. Another MP with powerful Delhi connections is T.Subbarami Reddy, whose Gayatri group has many infrastructure projects. Another businessman who would lose from a split is Andhra-born G.M.Rao, founder-chairman of  the Bangalore-based GMR group that built Hyderabad airport and controversially has 5,000 of acres around the site waiting for development, as well as many other projects. National and local politicians are widely believed to have invested in such companies.  </p>
<p><strong>The Telangana claim</strong> </p>
<p>The Telangana people’s wish for some sort of constitutional identity has been around for over 50 years, and has been fudged and rebuffed by successive Indian governments. But last week (December 9) the central government gave way and agreed to create Telangana in order to end a fast by a local politician and activist, K. Chandrashekhar Rao (KCR), leader of Telangana Rashtriya Samiti, who was risking his life to revive his crumbling political image. </p>
<p>That humane but politically clumsy decision led to violent demonstrations in Hyderabad, plus resignation threats by about half the members of the legislative assembly. This paralysed the state government and sparked follow-on bifurcation claims from other states all over India. </p>
<p>But observers of India’s frequently muddled and confusing political scene need not fear any imminent Balkanisation of India’s 28 states. Having prevented the death of the fasting politician, the government is back to fudge, and hopes to stall the Telangana claims indefinitely, maybe even until the state’s next assembly elections in 2014. Meanwhile, other states’ claims to be split will be examined, and some may push ahead a little &#8211; but there is no crisis, despite blanket and over-excited media coverage. </p>
<p>Unlike most other bifurcation claims, the battle over Telangana is about wealth, not language or ethnic divisions, nor dramatic differences in geography. It would also the first time that the capital of a state has gone with the new entity – normally the breakaway has to start afresh. </p>
<p>The people of coastal Andhra have benefited economically since the days of British rule when there was extensive investment in irrigation, but the Telangana region lagged behind under the thumb of the Nizam of Hyderabad. When Hyderabad began to flourish in the 1990s as an IT centre, wealthy landowners from the coastal region flocked to the city to develop real estate and infrastructure projects, lining up with local politicians such as YSR and his cronies to secure contracts and licences. This is the wealth that they fear the creation of Telangana would put at risk. </p>
<p>The reputation of Hyderabad and Andhra has been severely damaged by this series of crises. It is causing concern among both Indian and international investors who had not known – or had ignored – the political-business linkages and scams. </p>
<p>The state now has an uncertain political future. The death of YSR has removed an able political leader who, despite his business links and cronyism, was an effective Congress chief minister. Now the Congress Party is split over who his successor should be, as well as over the Telangana issue. And, of course,  politicians&#8217; fixing of contracts and projects for the benefit of themselves and their cronies is visible for all to see. </p>

<p>Years ago this garlanded photo of a scooter meant entry of a new member to the family. But sadly, this time it is not. Rather its a photo a &#8220;departed soul&#8221;.</p>
<p>This is obituary on the demise of &#8220;Humara Bajaj&#8221; brand, that was the icon of India for more than 3 long decades. Its sad, but it is rested to peace, for good. It is a farewell speech for a vehicle which had been very much &#8220;Humara&#8221;, very much an &#8220;Indian&#8221; and which had ruled the pot-holed roads of India for decades, with sheer hard work only and nothing else. It had carried loads multiple times its own weight, carried loads of a grown up family comprising of a fat husband, fattier wife and their naughty siblings. Now these siblings have grown up &#38; their generation, is now spearheading India&#8217;s resurgence, India&#8217;s development. So it can well concluded that this humble scooter is the builder of foundation,which is fuelling new India towards development.</p>
<p>I remember me and my four cousins, packing ourselves in our Uncle&#8217;s blue bajaj scooter to see Durga puja. My latest memory is of four us all in their 20&#8217;s, packed in this scooter, on way to Nandi hills. I remember my father&#8217;s Chetak ferrying me to school, ferrying me to tuitions, carrying me to board exam centers. I just wonder now, if I can ferry my nephews in my new, muscular Bajaj Avenger. And the answers comes a BIG NO.</p>
<p>Scooter paving way for bikes, is perfect picture of changing India. How the snailed pace country of 80&#8217;s &#38; 90&#8217;s is racing ahead with spped. How large hearted n accomodative scooter (read Old India) is paving way to less accomodative bike (read new India)? How well covered n introvert scooter has paved to naked n extrovert bike?  How a never serviced scooter is paving way for a pampered bike? </p>
<p>But nothing lasts long. And so did &#8220;Humara bajaj&#8221;. The symbol of Indian middle class of 80&#8217;s and 90&#8217;s had grown older and so had turned pale infront of its next gen bike. Perhaps we have lot of lessons to be learnt from this small economic development, but a bigger emotional development. First &#8220;change is the only constant&#8221;, two &#8220;accepting change&#8221;, three &#8220;everything good or bad has an end&#8221;, four &#8221; a generation works for future generation only, and so should give away the way..timely&#8221;.</p>
<p>But, whatever is the change, it is always for good. I am sure a similar article must have been written in 70&#8217;s, when Humara Bajaj was born and was capturing the roads of legends of 50&#8217;s &#38; 60&#8217;s (Rajdoot).But as seen, that new born of then, carried India of 80&#8217;s n 90&#8217;s successfully to new millenium. It&#8217;s a job well done, infact a great job and no words can explain the feet.And now its the responsibility of new generation to take the legacy forward to new peaks. And I am very optimistic, of the legacy being carried forward and somebody from my &#8220;next-gen&#8221; will write a similar article on &#8220;desh ki dhadkan&#8221; (Hero Honda, Pulsar) 3 decades later, when there day will come and they will pave way for another  generation. </p>
<p>So, lets the &#8220;Humara Bajaj&#8221; rest in peace and god bless it in heaven. Thanks &#8220;Humara Bajaj&#8221; for good memories. LONG LIVE &#8220;HUMARA SCOOTER&#8221;.</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class='snap_preview'><p>Well this is for all my fellow &#8216;Indians&#8217; out there Yesteryears &#8216;Market Leader of Scooters&#8217; &#8216;BAJAJ&#8217; has stopped making or to say manufacturing scooters for India&#8230; </p>
<p>Bajaj was once the only scooter manufacturer whose scooters were sold almost &#8216;1 lakh per month&#8217;&#8230;. To own a Bajaj scooter was a status symbol, people used to give Bajaj scooters as dowry in marriages&#8230;. Once &#8216;The Dominant Market Holder of Scooters&#8217; in the 90&#8217;s has failed to do so lately as they could not bring about any change in their scooters like &#8216;Chetak, Vespa&#8217;. </p>
<p>According to Bajaj they want to concentrate on motorcycle manufacturing as they are doing pretty well there&#8230;. What suprises me is why did they have to shut the manufacturing. Of scooters now&#8230;. Is it because the change in consumer taste or recession scare&#8230;..</p>
<p>P.S. &#8211; Bajaj is referred to as &#8216;Autorickshaw&#8217; in Indeonasia. </p>

<p>We were staying in Palace Guttahalli during my growing years. The entrance of the house was constructed giving due consideration to scooters. There were 2 pairs of steps that led into the verandah. And this block of steps was consciously separated with a small concrete slide.</p>
<p>The slide was inserted to make it easy for a scooter owner to open the gate and push the scooter into the verandah &#8211; a safety feature in those days. Thieves would steal scooter tyres, petrol and what not, if parked on the road. <img src='http://s.wordpress.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p>I remember my childhood days when my dad would take my sister and i on his scooter for &#8220;rounds&#8221;. A round included a small circle that started and ended at our door step. Yet how thrilled we would be over this &#8220;treat&#8221;.</p>
<p>Yet another time, dad had taken my sister and I to Lakeview on M G Road for Ice Creams. On our way back, near GPO signal, a fellow motorist had scolded me for dozing off &#8211; could he blame me for this when I had wrapped my little hands around my father&#8217;s tummy and was snuggled against his warm back for support &#8211; it was an open invite to snooze  <img src='http://s.wordpress.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_razz.gif' alt=':P' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p>But I never forgave that motorist for scolding me in front of my dad <img src='http://s.wordpress.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_sad.gif' alt=':(' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p>Well, even today, my daddy dear drives his dearest Bajaj Chetak. He still is proud of his scooter and does not let anyone ride it. And today, his fave passtime is taking his grand kids on his scooter for &#8220;rounds&#8221; <img src='http://s.wordpress.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif' alt=':D' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>

<p>Bajaj today launched the 135cc Pulsar in New Delhi, Called the Pulsar 135LS. Once again bajaj has raised the bar in the industry; the motorcycle has stunning looks for a 135cc and is loaded in terms of technology and performance.</p>
<p><span style="background-color:#ffffff;">The motorcycle is powered by 4 valves, first Indian engine to have it, the engine gives an output of 13.5 PS peak power at 9,000 rpm and 11 Nm peak torque at 7,500 rpm. The Bajaj Pulsar 135ls with that much power weighs just 122kg, which gives it a power-to-weight ratio that allows it to challenge most 150cc rivals (Hero Honda Hunk, cbz extreme, bajaj pulsar 150 dtsi).</span></p>
<p><span style="background-color:#ffffff;">The cost of the bike is Rs 51,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi).</span></p>

Pelayanannya juga 4 jempol deh, ramah &#38; nyantai banget suasananya.  Kebetulan pas ane ngisi bensin di Shell lagi ada promo Fantastis 88, jadi tiap ngisi Rp.15 ribu dapet 1 kupon scratch &#38; win&#8230;ane dapet 9 kupon &#38; ngga 1 pun dapet hadiah&#8230;isi tulisannya malah &#8220;Gosok lagi&#8221; -&#62; ane ampe ngegosok 9x isinya sama semua &#62;:(</p>

<p>Untuk kali ini ane rada-rada nekat dalam hal ngosongin tangki, kenapa begitu??? karena waktu brangkat dari rumah menuju pom bensin motor ane sempet mati gara2 kehabisan bensin&#8230;x( Alhasil jadilah tuh motor di miring-miringin, digoyang-goyang biar sisa-sisa bensinnya numplek semua. Bermodal tekat baja &#38; niat untuk mendorong motor klo ampe mati lagi, ane ngebut menuju pom bensin yang jaraknya cuman 1 Km dari rumah&#8230;wakakakakakak</p>

<p>Kejadiannya sama deh dimana-mana klo ngisi full tank, pasti operator pompa bensin nya ngomong, &#8220;Isinya banyak juga ya mas, biasanya isi brapa?&#8221;</p>
<p>Ane kasi tau deh klo ngisi biasanya 16L &#8211; 18L, ehhh&#8230;bener aja tuh kejadiannya, karna kenekatan untuk ngosongin tangki bensin dapet juga tuh angka kramat<strong> 20L</strong> bensin.</p>

<p>Anyway, so far make super extra adem ayem aja, tinggal liat aja bener ato ngga make Shell lebih irit dibanding merk lain.</p>

We used to look forward to the ads more than the actual programs. I remember, when my sister was about 1 or 2 years old, she was a very fussy eater. My mom had a very tough time trying to get her to open her mouth for food. Of the many many techniques devised by my parents to distract her, the most effective was advertisements. My mom used to shoveful food in her mouth while she was totally absorbed in the ad blissfully oblivious of everything around here. Because, we couldn&#8217;t wait for ad breaks to feed her, my dad recorded a video casette of advertisements on our VCR!</p>

<p>I&#8217;ll start with my most favorite one! I think everyone who&#8217;s seen this ad, loves the jingle. There is an extended version of this ad, which I was unable to find.</p>

There is a <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qJLAl2UDW_I&#38;feature=PlayList&#38;p=80169FA75E5ACCF6&#38;index=58">newer version</a> of this ad with Andrea and Radio Mirchi Shiva which doesn&#8217;t have the charm of the original.</p>

I watched this ad today after many many years but I remember the exact sequence including the surprised expression on the mother&#8217;s face when she sees the son <img src='http://s.wordpress.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' />  I just found out that the jingle for this ad has been done by ARR. This jingle has been sung by Malaysia Vasudevan and if you listen closely, it sounds like Then Kizhakku Seemayila from Kizhakku Seemayile!</p>

Ini sih sebenernya cuma <em>project</em> masang <em>headlamp set</em> PIBO  yg udah lamaaaaaa bener tertunda <img src='http://s.wordpress.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif' alt=':D' class='wp-smiley' />  .</p>
<p><em>Story</em>-nya berawal dari sekitar 4 bulan lalu saat gw capet copotan <em>headlamp set</em> P180 (minus cover &#38; windshield). Yg terbayang di kepala waktu itu, &#8220;Cakep juga nih buat bikin headlamp Suzuki B-King <em>wannabe !&#8221;.</em></p>

<p>Kebetulan hari sabtu kemarin sempet oprek2.<br />
Ukur sana-sini, gerinda-sana sini, nge-bor sana-sini, potong sambung kabel (plus ganti soket) &#8230; akhirnya bisa terpasang dengan kokoh di pio.<br />
Coba nyalain lampu .. PERFECTO! Berfungsi dengan aman-terkendali, baik lampu jauh, deket maupun lampu senjanya (dipake-in led warna merah biar lbh sangar .. hehe).</p>
<p>Belum 100% finish siy.  Karena baru kelistrikan aja yang udah beres, sementara tampilan masih perlu di-ulik lagi .. hehe. Bagian antara headlight dgn spidometer masih terasa &#8216;ompong&#8217;.</p>
<p>Jadi tugas yg tersisa sekarang adalah cari-cari ide utk bentuk <em>windshield</em>-nya (sementara utk <em>cover</em> samping lampu, rasanya gak perlu krn secara tampilan udah okeh-lah &#8230;).</p>
<p>Rencanaya mau bikin dari plat. Kenapa plat &#8230; dan bukan dari fiber? Soalnya pengerjaan dengan plat lebih simpel, cepet ( 1/2 hari kerja kelar <img src='http://s.wordpress.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif' alt=':D' class='wp-smiley' />  ) dan bisa di-ubah2 setiap saat. Sementara kalo dengan fiber, minimal perlu waktu seminggu &#8230; dan andai masih ada yg kurang pas, perlu proses beberapa hari lagi utk revisinya.</p>
<p>Kira-kira bagusnya dibikin model <em>windshield</em> kayak apa ya &#8230;? <img src='http://s.wordpress.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif' alt=';)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class='snap_preview'><p>Nov, 28 2010: Sources : Highly placed sources at Bajaj have informed this reporter on condition of anonymity that Bajaj is going to have a major change in this coming year. As Bajaj is planning to enter the four wheel market after having a significant presence in the two and three wheeler market, they have decided to diversify the names so that it becomes easier for people to identify the brand.</p>
<p>The two wheeler brand will henceforth be rebranded Pulsar. Going forward all bikes which are designed and developed by Bajaj will be called Bajaj Pulsar XXX.  (XXX denoted the CC class). In the pipeline are Two 100 cc bikes, a 125 cc and 135 cc bike. A 90 cc bike designed to replace the very successful M80 is also in the design stage. It will be called M-Pulsar 90. The reason for choosing the Pulsar brand name is because most people in India relate this to powerful and value for money. So people will perceive the 90cc bike as being more powerful than competitors 100 cc and so on.</p>
<p>Also all bikes will carry the DTS acronym. The DTS is a widely important Acronym which can mean Digital Twin Spark, Digital Triple Spark (a technology which is being developed), Dual Techno Spark (Where the sparking will be timed by a 64 bit microcomputer to give best performance and fuel economy) etc.</p>
<p>All bikes above 200cc will be sold and serviced by ProBiking centers, which will be rebranded as Pulsar Super biking centers (Super indicates the more powerful Chetak brand scooters which will also now  be sold and serviced here).</p>
<p>The Scooter segment will see the revival of the super successful Chetak brand. Henceforth all scooters (automatic/geared) will be called Chetak. A or M will be used to denote Automatic or Manual gears. On offer will be the Chetak 100A, 90A, 125A and 150A. They are designed to take on Honda, Hero Honda, Mahindra two wheeler and Suzuki offerings like Activa, Rodeo, duro, flyte, Access etc. Also On Offer will be Chetak 125M and 150M scooters for people who like manual transmissions. All scooters above 175cc will be called Chetak Super CCC (engine capacity). All scooters will also feature the DTS tag.</p>
<p>The three wheeler segment will see revival of the Autorickshaw brand name. There will be new offerings in this segment to take on rivals like APE and TVS. The vehicles will be named ARCCCSPL (AR-AutoRickshaw, CCC- engine CC, SPL-Special Features). On offer will be AR150MET (for Metros and cities with low emission Norms), AR150NMT(Non Metros), AR150APT(special Airport rickshaw with space to accommodate the typical large Soft luggage used by flyers). AR250APT (250 cc airport spl). The rickshaws will have special foreigner traffic mode called FART for Foreigner Auto Rear Tuktuk, which will create authentic TukTuk noise that the foreigners like. This will be endorsed by the Tourism board and will be featured in the next Daniel boyle movie. All rickshaws will also sport the DTS tag.</p>
<p>A common feature across all three segments will be LED taillights, Digital Console, 3D tags etc.</p>
<p>The four wheeler segment has yet to take on a name. But will likely be Amby or Model T.</p>

<p><em>Kesal juga rasanya kalo mengalami bocor ban. Apalagi bagi para pengguna motor bergaya supermoto yang sudah pakai pelek tipe jari-jari lebar dan mahal. Pasti sayang kalo dibongkar, karena bikin lecet atau rusak saat dicungkil tukang tambal ban pakai obeng khusus buatannya itu.</em></p>
<p><em>Solusinya? “Gampang. Pelek itu dibikin jadi tubeless aja,” anjur Samsul, mekanik Caos Custom di Jl. Pancoran Barat No.8, Jaksel. Lho emang bisa dan kuat? “Bisa. Saya udah terapkan di beberapa motor konsumen, tetap oke!” jaminnya.</em></p>

“Kalo bisa, lem sebagian dulu sekitar 15 cm lalu diratakan dengan alat yang sudah disiapkan  (gbr.3), lalu disambung lagi sampai seterusnya,” saran pria berbodi kurus ini sembari bilang, pentil khusus ban tubelessnya juga dipasang. </em></p>

<p><em>Tujuannya, tentu agar pentil juga menempel dengan kuat. Sehingga angin ban juga enggak nyeplos dari peranti itu. “Oh ya, harga pentilnya sekitar Rp 15 ribu bisa didapat di tukang tambal ban atau toko ban,” ungkapnya lagi.</em></p>
<p><em>Nah, pemakaian lem itu untuk satu pelek ukuran sekitar 3-4 ½ inci bisa menghabiskan satu setengah botol. Karena pelek ukuran lebar tersebut diameternya pun sudah terlihat besar, berarti pemakaiannya pun lumayan banyak. “Tapi buat pelek standar  sih cuma satu atau setengah botol aja,” ujarnya.</em></p>
<p><em>Berikutnya pengeringan lem, bisa dengan tenaga matahari atau lampu tembak khusus buat ngecat motor. Tapi semua itu butuh waktu lama. Makannya Samsul pakai alat pemanas kaca film khusus mobil agar keringnya merata. Waktu yang diperlukan sekitar dua jam.</em></p>
<p><em>Keringkan secara merata sampai bagian dalam pelek dengan peranti yang sudah kita siapakan tadi (gbr.4). Lalu diamkan sekitar 15 menit untuk memastikan lem benar-benar kering. “Karena kalo masih basah, anginnya bisa bocor,” wanti Samsul. </em></p>

<p><em>Kalo yakin lem sudah keras, silakan pasang ban. Isi dengan angin, lalu cermati. Apa sudah oke atau ada kebocoran. Ngetesnya, bisa direndam dalam bak berisi air. “Kalau ada gelembung udara, berarti pengeleman perlu diulang agar tak ada bocor dan sempurna,” tutup mekanik yang sudah 8 tahun kerja di Caos Custom ini sembari menambahkan, konsekuensinya karena pelek dikasih lem, otomatis akan tambah bobot.</em></p>
