Tickets will go on sale Friday, October 30th for the 3rd annual Verizon Wireless BamaJam Music & Arts Festival, slated for Thursday, June 3 through Saturday, June 5, 2010 in Enterprise, Alabama.

The Verizon Wireless BamaJam Music & Arts Festival is one of the world’s grandest outdoor entertainment extravaganzas. Fans have come from more than 47 states and 8 countries to enjoy the 3-day festival which includes music and activities for the whole family. At BamaJam, the music never stops and the fun goes on ’til the sun comes up … and then it starts all over again with food, booths, activities and music, music, music.

Tickets are on sale for $99 for a 3-day ticket and $49.00 for a 1-Day Flex Ticket, which may be used on any 1 of the 3 days. Service charges and taxes are included in this low price. These introductory prices will not last long, and are available in very limited quantities, so act fast! Tickets are for General Admission, which means, the earlier you arrive, the better your seat!

The Verizon Wireless BamaJam Music & Arts Festival offers 3 jam-packed days of music and entertainment with performances by more than 30 of today’s’ most popular and compelling acts. With more than 600 acres, fans will find the perfect site to set up camp for the 2010 festival.

RV and tent campsites will be available for purchase on a first-come, first-serve basis. A par 3 golf course on the festival grounds will be available to campers. Shoes and shirts are not required!

Verizon and Ronnie Gilley Entertainment have announced 4-time and current CMA, and 4-consecutive ACM Entertainer of the Year Kenny Chesney will headline the event. This will be one of Chesney’s only 2010 concert appearances.

Hello BamaJammers! Welcome to the first official blog post of the Verizon Wireless BamaJam Music and Arts Festival. Let’s start this post with a little background information. My name is Erica Murray and originally I came to BamaJam as an intern from the University of Florida. Initially I wanted to work for a record label and then stumbled upon BamaJam. Moving far from home wasn’t really an option so I thought coming to Southern Alabama would be an easy transition. I had no idea how big BamaJam actually was or how much I would love being here and working on this festival. I have recently been hired on as a permanent staff member and couldn’t be happier to be working on this truly amazing event.

And with appearances from a star-studded list of artists including Taylor Swift, Kid Rock, Brooks & Dunn, Alan Jackson, Randy Owen, Charlie Daniels, 38 Special, Gary Allan, Blake Shelton, Jason Aldean, John Anderson, Pat Green, Heidi Newfield, Jamey Johnson, Luke Bryan, Shooter Jennings, Randy Houser, Galactic, Drive By Truckers, Aaron Tippin, LoCash Cowboys, The Black Crowes, Los Lonely Boys and Robert Randolph, this festival is shaping up to be 3 awesome days of music. I got an email the other day from Quinn Borland of Spoonful James, alerting me to the fact that they are going to be playing Bamajam this year “nestled in after The Truckers, right before The Crowes.” This festival is located in Enterprise, Alabama June 4-6th. ENTERPRISE, AL (May 6, 2009)—In its second year, the Verizon Wireless BamaJam Music & Arts Festival (to take place June 4-6, 2009 in Enterprise, AL) has proven itself once again to be one of the grandest outdoor entertainment extravaganzas of all time.
