At this time only coastal states have bans/laws such as this one. Surprisingly Senator Matt Murphy, D-Palatine, was opposed to the bill as he questioned why Illinois needs the ban. The bill in question, Bill HB4119, was “passed the House and Senate by a large margin, will be sent to the governor’s desk.” I guess baby steps are better than no steps at all :)
