<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Antonio Munoz, D-Chicago, is working to make it illegal to possess shark fins. At this time only coastal states have bans/laws such as this one. Surprisingly Senator Matt Murphy, D-Palatine, was opposed to the bill as he questioned why Illinois needs the ban. The bill in question, Bill HB4119, was &#8220;passed the House and Senate by a large margin, will be sent to the governor&#8217;s desk.&#8221; I guess baby steps are better than no steps at all <img src='http://s0.wp.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
