Kanye West looking goooooooooooooood!!!!!!!!!

Kanye West and Amber Rose headed out last night to see the “Avatar” movie, looking stylish as usual. Kanye also is the new face for A Bathing Ape’s (BAPE) 2010 spring line. Nigo is one of my favorite designers and the Japanese label ALWAYS brings the goods.

Once again Bape have worked with rapper/producer Kanye West, this time for their latest lookbook, which advertises their Spring 2010 collection. With photography from Keiichi Nitta, the collection is well captured is certainly looks very promising. With a mixture of Bape and URSUS Bape releases on the cards, the entire range is refined, with a mixture of Japanese and American aesthetics, making the choice to work with Mr. West appropriate. The collection includes new styles of belts and as wells shirts, work trousers, tees, varsity jackets and more. Surely to be a strong divider amongst fans, the most immediately striking piece is the Baby Milo hoody, which is complete in a vibrant multi-colourway featuring a selection of characters seen throughout Milo’s history.

Not that BAPE has looked bad lately, but this upcoming collection looks a lot better than what they have been putting out. I’m not saying that because Ye is wearing it, but everything besides the bright multi-colored hoodie looks pretty good. Lookout for this stuff in Spring 2010.

I’ve always liked Bape for their vision to go beyond the normal, but I like their more refined pieces even more.  I’ll leave the big logos to the kids, let a brotha hold some of those pieces, Nigo!  By the way, there’s been a recent Kanye siting where he…expresses himself in rhyme.

while bape may or may not be poisoning the hip-hop community with overpriced gotta-have garbage, rappers still like their clothes.  kanye west likes bape so much that he’s wearing only bape clothes in their new spring lookbook.  gotta admit that some of these duds are “fresh” (really like those sneaks he’s wearing above), but i still think bape is a hip-hop hater.  is kanye one, too?

As many people do, I did a little SHOPPING for myself yesterday.  I kept getting pressured by RJ to pick up a jacket to my collection.  If you recall from my 12 Days of Christmas Wishlist #5 thread, I stated that I wanted the new nylon Bape Varsity jacket!  They only had one more left yesterday so I picked it up!  Here’s the bag that it came in.

Presenting my new nylon Bape varsity jacket in GREY!  This was my first choice in color and coincidentally the last one that they had was in grey and in my size!  I’m pretty stoked on it.  Alright…I’m done shopping for myself.  Tomorrow I start for EVERYBODY ELSE! LOL

So I found out last THURSDAY that KiD CuDi would be having an autograph and MEET AND GREET session at BAPE in Los Angeles.  CuDi is one of my favorite new artists so I had to take the chance to meet him, even though it meant missing the best CHARGERS game of the year!  Ha Ha Thanks to RJ (WhatDidYouBlogToday?) for taking the photos of me when inside BapeLA.

Here’s my candid picture with CuDi.  He had the Japan only release of the white shirt!  He was TRIPPIN’ out when he saw that I had the vinyl record.  He said that it was his first time ever seeing the vinyl of his OWN ALBUM!  And I got it SIGNED!!!
