Shoppers start your engines… Marshall’s — one of the world’s leading discount clothing retailers comes to Kitchener-Waterloo tomorrow, March 29 at 8:30 am. The first 100 shoppers get a FREE gift card! 

KW is one of six lucky cities to welcome Marshalls tomorrow along with Oshawa, Hamilton, Burlington, Barrie and Ottawa. They first entered the Canadian market with six GTA stores last year and now it’s our turn.

I discovered Marshalls about 10 years ago during a vacation to Florida and fell in love! The store is one of my go-to stores whenever I am in the US never fails to deliver great brand-name fashion at very affordable prices. I did a cartwheel when I heard it was coming to Canada.   

For bargain lovers like me, I advise setting a budget before you go since there are usually so many fantastic finds, you will find it difficult to limit your purchases. For the best deals, look for the CLEARANCE racks, just like Winners, for the most deeply discounted items with bright red stickers on the price tag. Designer labels are found throughout the store but at prices that normal people can afford.

The store will carry women’s, men’s and children’s apparel and a special section just for teens called the “Cube”. In addition to the huge selection of brand name clothing at discount prices,  shoe-lovers will faint when they see the huge selection of boxed designer and brand name footwear.

The company also owns Winners, HomeSense and TJ Maxx in the US so the experience will feel similar but Marshalls has a stronger focus on clothing for the entire family.
