Free style jewelry results always interesting pieces that in most of the cases can’t be replicated.  It allows the designer to work with different materials, textures and tecniques.

But free style doesn’t mean that there is no logic or undelying order in the design, the final piece should be balanced and armonic.

Following are two of my designs for bracelets that combine free style and brick stitch. The bracelets are formed by two triangles joined using multiple stings of beads in free style, combining colors, styles and textures. The bracelet clasp is done using a button and a loop in peyote stitch.

The first bracelet combines beads in purple tones, and I included some ceramic beads that give to this bracelet an exotic look.

The second bracelet is done in green tones and combines different type of beads including Czech beads, crystals and glass beads.

My favorite thing was definately the quest at the mideval party, who can forget that great solid gold armor, shields with the gleaming red jewel, and the gold helmet? And the shining pool of water in the last cavern and the most beautiful music… and the tree house! Oh I loved the dragon in the mine, me and my friends would stand beside it and before we would get hit by the fire we would wave our solid gold shields in the air and the dragon would be defeated! Those surely were some “knights” to remember!

My favorite party in the past year was the Fall fair! I loved it all, the games, the sights, and most but not least… the prizes!

Crochet Necklace

Crochet is a well know technique for knitting all kinds of clothes, blankets and tablecloths. It was very popular in Europe and its origins dates around earlier 1800.

But without going so far, I remember my mom knitting crochet in the evenings when the home was quite and all other domestic tasks were done. Actually, today I use a bed cover she made in crochet and other beautiful tablecloths in different places in my home.

Unfortunately, I never learned how to crochet these beautiful pieces and I was capable to make only the simplest ones. However, when in one of my beading classes I realized that we could use crochet to make incredible jewelry I started experimenting with this technique and I was amazed about the results. Since then I adopted this technique as one of my favorites and make many bracelets and necklaces, sometime combining it with other techniques also.

Here are some examples of jewelry I make using crochet.

Crochet Bracelet

• This bracelet is one of my recent works and it is also crochet, I used two colors: green and orange. And different type of beads: green seed beads, orange bycone Swarovski crystals, orange cube crystals and glass beads that are half-green and half-orange.

• The necklace was made using black and ochre Czech beads. For this piece, I used a gold thread that provides shine and elegance to the piece. I didn’t added any more embellishment to this necklace since it has enough presence and elegance based on its simplicity. I used a beautiful gold metal clasp that can be moved to the front as shown in the picture.C

Joy is back with me after two weeks in the big city…she was being tried by a family there who were thinking of buying her.  It was hard, and as soon as I got her on that trailer I knew that I had made the decision to let her go way too fast.  I knew that no matter what happened I was going to be with her until I completely gave her all I could.  Until now maybe I have had my priorities in the wrong places.  Now that she is back, and beautiful as ever…as sweet as ever…I now realize that I need to give her a REAL chance with me.  I have always considered her to be something to make me better, but now I need to rethink that.  Our relationship needs to make both of us better….me a better rider, and her a better horse in general.   I can’t wait to get to working with her!

These kind of research is going on for years and taken by different agencies which all produces the same output .. Mans first distraction are the boobs …is any thing wrong in it ??

WE may call it ‘booby’ trap but woman’s breasts are really a man’s first fixation, one of the new study also reveals.

One international team, led by the University of Wellington in New Zealand, has found that almost half of dudes first look at a woman’s boobs and, men glance at them for longer than any other part of the body, the Daily Mail reports confirmed this.

A third of the so-called “first fixations” are on the waist and hips, while fewer than 20 per cent look at the face, the study has found.

As women with larger breast and slim waists have higher level’s of the female hormone oestrogen which  indicates  greater fertility, researchers say there may be a more vague  explanation for this.

“Men may be looking more often at the breasts because they are simply aesthetically pleasing, regardless of the size,” they were quoted in some saying.

In this study, the researchers technically presented a group of subjects with six images of the same woman which was  digitally altered to increase or decrease the size of her waist, bust and hips.

And the  observation was started ,which parts  men looked at first, the number of times they looked, and how long gazed, using both cameras and mirrors to measure all the  tiny eye movements.

“80  percentage of first fixations or the first distraction  were on the breasts and midriff. Men spent consistently more time looking at the breasts and also made significantly more fixations upon them than other regions,” the researchers said.

Only when we are older do we realize how beautiful we were when younger – and we see that half the fears and insecurities we had when younger were rubbish…

Older women often look at younger women and say “you know when I was your age…” or “you know I always got so many compliments on my…” or “when I walked on the street, men would always call me (insert cute name here)”. Young women need to embrace the beauty they have, realize that their imperfections are what catch the attention of a life partner and should not be afraid to build their own esteems as well as the esteems of other females. Often we flaws we see everyday in the mirror go unnoticed by others, or are only noticed because we bring great focus to them as issues of great concern to us. No matter what age, we should drink compliments like nourishment and eliminate the negatives like waste. I am beautiful, so are you and I will continue to be beautiful.

I told Clair earlier that I needed to be productive tonight when I got off work. Let’s see does working out for an hour, grocery shopping, putting away the groceries, doing two loads of laundry, cooking dinner (and eating it), looking through old photo albums, and making boiled peanuts sound productive to you? Man I am tired of typing already. HAHA!

I have some things I have been thinking about lately. I have contemplated if I should share them. Since I think by making list I will follow my comfort and do the same here. Or in Baptist terms – a three point sermon works too!

1. Beautiful…because I am GOD’S! For the longest time I have always been so concerned with the outward beauty of myself and surrounding myself with pretty people. It has taken me a long time to get to a point where I took time and even opened my heart to see myself in light of the image I was created in. Does it not blow your mind that while you were in your mother’s womb He formed you,  before you were born Christ knew you, and he knows every intricate part of your life even how many hairs are on your head? How about that He knows your every thought, but still asks for you to come before the Lord with your requests.  (off target!) I have always heard people talk about how the guy who comes along should make you feel special and feel beautiful. I have never really felt that when I was around any one. Some how the Lord has opened my eyes and heart to see and feel this beauty through several really good guy friends. I don’t know how to really articulate it, but I know that the beauty of your character is what drives another person to express that to you. Guys like Corey and Joshua and Justin and Michael have made me realize the image I am truly representing.

2. Why do we leave God out? I was thinking about that after Clark came home from that Collegiate conference in TN back in May. He shared some points made by David Platt about how we’re all focused on the production that we forget to incorporate or acknowledge Christ in the matter. Why do we do that? How do we bring Him back to the center of everything we do? I believe we have to stay in constant prayer and deep rooted in the Word of GOD! As I begin a new year I want to keep that in mind and attempt to be more intentional in living out scripture.

3. I always said I was not a fighter. I read some blog updates by a friend of mine who just found out that she has breast cancer. Check out her blog http://warriorswearpink.blogspot.com. It might bring some tears out of you, but its also going to make you want to pick up some pink boxing gloves and enter the fight! I want to be a fighter like her. To know that she has breast cancer, but it does NOT have her. I want to know that I would have that much drive to fight off a disease like cancer or fight for the love of my life.

Hace 5 meses le hicieron el primer transplante de cara en el país, recibiendo el rostro de una mujer que había muerto. ( Si te lo estabas preguntando Elba Esther Gordillo y Lyn May siguen vivas)

Este es el primer transplante de cara en los Unaited esteits  pero ya demuestra un increíble avance de la tecnología en la medicina. Esperemos que pronto, poco a poco esta mujer pueda regresar a su vida habitual y cotidiana.

Alexis Grace, the latest outcast of AI, is still one of my favorite people to be on that show, her voice-type doesn’t come too often, so there was absolutely no reason for her to be booted at all, let alone this early, when people like Michael, and the blind guy are there, okay they can sing, but not half as good as Alexis. Don’t let her tiny frame fool you, for her voice is bigger than Aretha’s hat. Hare are three songs of hers to download, I absolutely love her rendition of each and every song she sang. I feel like the audience vote based on what the judges say, not who they think is best. Anyways, I babbled way too much. Alexis, you’re the best thing that happened to the show, the judges were stupid enough not to save you, and the voters are beyond stupid to not have voted for you.
