Not to worry, faithful readers, this is not erotica set in a library. Unless you don’t only love books, and you actually looooooove books. Then, maybe.

Found some new and gorgeous photos of bookstores and libraries that I felt the need to share. Thanks to BuzzFeed for the links.

Shakespeare & Company in Paris. I want to live here. Please?

House on the Rock, Wisconsin. It is, in fact, a house on a rock. Or at least a resort on a rock. With a giant library. I could also live here, and that would be okay too.

Beinecke Rare Book & Manuscript Library at Yale. The vault most likely to be robbed by me. Who’s in?

The Royal Portuguese Reading Room. It never occurred to me that one day, I would wish to be Portuguese royalty. Who knew?

That’s it for now. If you want, BuzzFeed listed their Top 30. I find that it’s better to sample in small doses, or you don’t appreciate them as much. It’s just overwhelming bookness. And, finally, my new profile picture for the Bibliophiliacs Facebook page:

Thanks to my awesome brother-in-law, Mende (who is also chief geek @ Bibliocommons) for the image.

Happy reading (and drooling!)
