Fort Calhoun Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department staged a practice fire at a vacant house at the Boyer Chute National Wildlife Refuge on Saturday.  Fire fighters from Blair, Herman, and Kennard departments in Washington County as well as Bennington, Irvington, and Ponca Hills fire  departments took part the live fire training. 130 more words
