At six billion copies sold worldwide, the Bible remains the best-selling book of all time; taking on

At six billion copies sold worldwide, the Bible remains the best-selling book of all time; taking only the second place is the Quotations from Chairman Mao Zedong at 900 million copies sold. However, the Bible is also the most misunderstood book. Diverse religions claiming to preach based on the Bible are now scattered almost everywhere, each having a different name, a different set of doctrines, beliefs and practices, which is an obvious anomaly.

Apparently, interpreting the Holy Scriptures produces contradicting outcomes in different people. One may interpret a biblical verse this way; the other, that way. Notwithstanding the fact that there is an interpretation that stands to logic, the apparent inconsistency may be better understood through parallel circumstances. Take for example the effects of sunlight on earth.

Without sunlight, life on earth as we know it will not be possible. It is a key component in photosynthesis, a chemical process vital to maintaining life. The sun itself has direct influence on the possibility of life. All over the planet, the sun dictates the climates as well as the changes they undergo. We have winter, spring, summer and fall; we have continents of ice and rocks; we have desserts, rainforests, oceans and seas; all because of the relative position of the earth to the sun. If the sun is a bit too close to earth, our planet will be scorched. Water in liquid form cannot exist, and therefore life, which is dependent on water, can neither exist.

Even how beneficial the sun to earth is, however, it can also bring hazardous effects. Without the atmosphere blocking 98.7 percent of the ultraviolet radiation coming from the sun, sunlight will damage nearly all biological life. Even with the current protection provided by the ozone layer, too much exposure to UV radiation can still cause skin cancer. On the contrary, too less exposure to sunlight will lead to vitamin D deficiency, which leads to many kinds of sicknesses such as osteoporosis, prostate cancer and breast cancer. Our skin benefits from sunlight by helping it produce vitamin D, which is crucial in calcium absorption for developing bones.

In the medical world, there are also positive and negative effects. It doesn’t always follow that if a medicine can cure, anyone who takes in that medicine will automatically be cured. There are kinds of medicine which are very useful to many people, but deadly to others. Take penicillin for example.

In history, penicillin is accounted for saving many lives. It is effective as an antibiotic. Nevertheless, there are people who experience difficulty in breathing and suffer cardiac arrest when given penicillin. These people may have extreme allergic reactions to this medication. To other people, adverse effects of penicillin include vomiting, nausea, diarrhea, hypersensitivity, fever, seizures and many others. So one cannot immediately conclude that if the effect of a certain drug is good to some people, it is the same to all.

These positive and negative effects of medication to human health and of sunlight to life on earth are parallels to the contradicting outcomes of using and interpreting the Scriptures. No matter how good the Scriptures is, it would produce negative effects to a person or group of people without understanding. Take for example the Iglesia ni Cristo (Church of Christ) of Manalo.

Iglesia ni Cristo or INC, a politically-influential organization based in the Philippines, has a unique interpretation of Romans 16:16. The verse says –

Salute one another with an holy kiss. The churches of Christ salute you.

When they read this verse, INC ministers would immediately ask, “What is the name used to greet?” They would then conclude that: “The name “Iglesia ni Cristo” is the official name, because it is the name that was commanded to greet all with.” This explanation was published in Iglesia ni Cristo’s official magazine Pasugo, September 1976 issue, on page 26.

Upon closer look at the verse, however, you will see that there is no name mentioned in Romans 16:16. The commandment was to salute one another. With what? A name? The verse says, “Salute one another WITH AN HOLY KISS.” There is no name mentioned in the verse; much less an official name. What the churches used to salute one another was the holy kiss, not a name.

Another doctrine of the Iglesia ni Cristo of Manalo that has negative consequences considering its moral and spiritual impact to society is their interpretation of 1 Timothy 2:9-10. The verses say –

In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array; But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.

The verses clearly state that women should adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety, and not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array. This is according to Apostle Paul. Its clarity notwithstanding, ministers of Iglesia ni Cristo say that this was in time past when people were still conservative. Since we are now modern, they say that we have to adapt to the modern ways. They even profess that they now allow what they once prohibited—the wearing of jewelries—because “the level of Christianity must progress.” The document below is the outline of this INC doctrine.

WHY WAS THE USE OF JEWELRY PROHIBITED IN THE IGLESIA NI CRISTO BEFORE – this is the topic discussed in the outline. So using jewelry was really prohibited in the Iglesia ni Cristo of Manalo before. But time came when they removed the prohibition. Why? Why was the prohibition on using jewelries removed in the Iglesia ni Cristo later on? According to them, as outlined in the document, “When one is already of full age, he may eat strong meat; that is why the prohibition is being removed.” They further teach that the prohibition must be removed for them to be perfect. This doctrine, as illogical as it sounds, cannot be considered positive. Contradicting Apostle Paul’s commandment in the process, their going unto perfection is backwards.

Besides, if indeed those who are already of full age who may eat strong meat are the ones who are not prohibited to use jewelry, then why do they not according to their doctrine prohibit their newly-baptized brethren in using jewelry? Are the newly-baptized of full age in faith? Shouldn’t it be that while the member is still new, he or she should be prohibited to wear jewelry? and when she gets older in the church, only then will she be able to wear? But that’s not the case in the Iglesia ni Cristo of Manalo. Their doctrines—inconsistent with each other, retrogressive and contrary to biblical—are apparent negative outcomes of misinterpreting the Scriptures.

The case of Toufik Benedictus “Benny” Hinn, founder and leader of the Benny Hinn Ministries, is another example of the negative outcome of misusing the Scriptures. Hinn, a televangelist and considered by some as a Bible teacher, claims that he has been anointed by God with healing power, and that he has healed people with AIDS, cancer, blindness and extreme physical injuries. He attracts people through his so-called “Miracle Crusades” which showcases revival meetings and faith healing held in large stadiums throughout the world, where about 50-60 thousand people are in attendance. Parts of the program are being aired in his daily talk show This Is Your Day, broadcasted on several television stations, including The God Channel, Revelation TV, Daystar Television Network, Vision TV, Grace TV, Trinity Broadcasting Network, and INSP Networks. Some of his “miraculous healing” sessions, which look more like hysteria and mass hypnosis, can be viewed on YouTube.

On December 27, 2002, Dateline NBC, an investigative news program, aired its expose on what happens behind the camera during Benny Hinn’s miracle crusades. For two years beginning in 2000, they followed Hinn in different cities. And in each crusade they have attended they have observed that the main act of the show points to that moment when Hinn would tell the audience “that God was speaking to him, revealing a multitude of miracles then taking place throughout the arena.” Hinn would even specifically name those who are allegedly being healed by God.

Before some of the audience were allowed onstage to announce their healing, Dateline discovered through their hidden cameras the “screeners”, some of whom are doctors, who choose from the audience good candidates for revealing their healing; while on the other side of the stadium is the wheelchair section, where people hoping to be cured by Hinn are being kept away from the stage. These people go home still stuck on their wheelchairs, sick and desperate.

According to Nathan Daniel, a documentary producer interviewed by Dateline, he had worked closely with Benny Hinn Ministries Miracle Follow-up Department. As part of his research work, Daniel had set criteria for verification of a miracle healing: 1) Proof of the illness or disease prior to healing; 2) Evidence that there was a miraculous change; and 3) Documentation that the healing had continued. Out of the hundreds of cases BHM said they had documented and verified, Daniel found out that “there was never one complete record that would suit the criteria for a documented miracle healing.”

With millions of followers donating millions of dollars to the Benny Hinn Ministries tax free and without public accounting, Hinn has nothing to worry about financially. CBC Television show The fifth estate, which also attempted to expose Benny Hinn Ministries’ mishandling of funds, estimates that Benny Hinn acquires $200 million yearly. Just like the case of the Iglesia ni Cristo Executive Minister, Eraño Manalo, whom Say Magazine called “The Billionaire Preacher” in its June 6, 1989 issue, Benny Hinn has obviously misinterpreted the Bible as a source of income.

Despite having these negative consequences of interpreting the Bible, positive effects can still be observed. One group in particular that strictly abides by the Holy Scriptures is the Members Church of God International, a religious organization with headquarters in the Philippines.

Members Church of God International is an active Christian church in public and spiritual service. Its Presiding Minister, Bro. Eliseo Soriano, a Bible scholar acclaimed as “The Only Sensible Preacher of Our Time” relentlessly holds Bible Expositions worldwide where he answers all kinds of spiritual queries, even giving advices and scriptural opinion on medical concerns, matters of politics and governance, economy and the sciences. After each Bible exposition, not one truth seeker goes home without his most crucial questions answered straight from the Bible.

Effectively using technology as means to spread the gospel, Bro. Eli Soriano’s program The Old Path (Ang Dating Daan) airs 24/7 on the Internet, television and cable stations, where the question and answer portion of his Bible Expositions is being shown. His program can also be heard on several local radio stations. His Truth Blog (esoriano.wordpress.com), which discusses the most vital issues of faith, was recently awarded People’s Choice and The Most Popular Website of the Year in the Philippines. He also answers spiritual queries through the most popular video-sharing website, YouTube (youtube.com/broelisoriano), where inquirers can post their questions through video.

In terms of public service, Members Church of God International has established at least 12 orphanages throughout the country, accommodating even non-members. The church recently opened two colleges where everything is provided for free to deserving students from all over the country, from tuition fee, miscellaneous fees, to uniforms, dormitory and medical check-ups.

MCGI, through its Co-Worker (Kamanggagawa) Foundation, also maintains two Transient Homes as temporary shelters for people who may not have a place to sleep at night. Aside from cozy beds, it provides free dinner and breakfast. MCGI also maintains regular medical missions, feeding programs, and even free bus ride.

What’s even more striking about this church is that it holds Thanksgiving to the God of Israel weekly, where some 50-70 thousand members and visitors gather in one of the biggest convention centers in Asia, the ADD Convention Center in Apalit, Pampanga, north of Manila. Inside the convention center, one can’t help but notice beside the two large monitors placed above the stage, where brethren in international chapters are shown giving thanks to God, two equally large billboards were placed containing a strict warning that says: WE DO NOT ACCEPT FINANCIAL CONTRIBUTIONS FROM NON-MEMBERS. According to them, this is in accordance to III John 7, which says -

Because that for his name’s sake they went forth, taking nothing of the Gentiles.

In terms of uniqueness, this church is the only registered church in the Philippines that pays tax to the government. It is in adherence to Romans 13:7 -

Therefore give to all their dues; to the one due tax, the tax; tribute to whom tribute is due, fear to whom fear is due, and honor to whom honor is due. (MKJV)

With a preacher whose biblical knowledge is available for testing; goodwill to fellowmen without asking donations in return; organizational uniqueness backed-up by no less than the best-selling book of all time itself; such an effect in morality and spirituality stands to reason and cannot be considered negative. Apparently, the leader of this church, the Members Church of God International, pays attention to what the Scriptures really teach.

Benny Hinn A False Prophet What is wrong with Benny Hinn and His ministries? Well it is much easier

Benny Hinn A False Prophet

What is wrong with Benny Hinn and His ministries? Well it is much easier to ask what is not wrong with Benny Hinn?

We have seen him give signs and kissing up to the Pope. But Listen to this tape and see what is wrong with him. The man is a new ager, anyone who claims that he is I AM ( God ) is past being New Age we really need to run away frm him and his miracles. Look the whole Oral Roberts – Kuhlman gang is past being suspect, Copeland ,Creflo, Hagin, Hinn, etc. They all claim godhood like the New Agers. I believe that Carlton Pearson what sent out as an experiment to see how far they can push the envelope.

People still follow Benny Hinn because of the miracles but who is to say where the Power comes from , sure people get healed, but is it from God or magic?

The warning signs will always be there, but people might choose to ignore them which is okay but let us remember that God is sending a strong delusion.

Another reason why Benny Hinn and other continue to take money from people is that the use blackmail like “touch not God’s anointed”. If I get time, I will show the mind control tricks they use to plunder the saints.

There are people who have idolised Benny Hinn and the other Properity and Dominionists preachers and they will come on this blog to call me a hypocrite. But people do not see how these church try to control them.

Benny Hinn Question empowered by Jesus Christ for Miracles, or not? Is Benny Hinn of Jesus Christ or

Benny Hinn Question empowered by Jesus Christ for Miracles, or not?

Is Benny Hinn of Jesus Christ or the Devil?

In Defense of Benny Hinn

First let me begin by saying that Benny Hinn of Benny Hinn Ministries is anointed by the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ to lift up the name of the healer and that healer is Jesus Christ alone. Only Jesus Christ by the power of His Holy Spirit can heal and Benny Hinn has always taught that. For over 25 years Benny Hinn has reminded the people that he is not the healer, however many Christians who are in unbelief, or bitterness like to try to make Benny Hinn the healer. Many of these same people then like to accuse Benny Hinn of some guilt, or wrong doing when someone is not healed at a crusade event.

This is ridiculous since Benny Hinn is just a man Jesus Christ is using. Benny Hinn at each miracle healing crusade leads the people into worship and praise of Jesus. Benny continually reminds the crowds that they must look to Jesus and not to Benny Hinn for their miracle. In fact during most of Benny Hinn’s miracle crusades, Benny has repeatedly warned that if they are looking to him instead of Jesus they may not receive their miracle. Benny will also say, “You did not come to see Benny Hinn,” then Benny would say “I wouldn’t cross the street to see or hear me, but you came to praise and receive from Jesus to Jesus Christ alone be the Glory.”

Friends, the only purpose of the miracle crusade events is to help large groups of believers come together into worship and praise and to ask Jesus to move among his people by His Holy Spirit, its groups of people of all backgrounds and cultures coming into prayer, praise and faith for miracles in Jesus’ Mighty and Wonderful name. These events also help those who are not yet believers, but are seeking, to have a place to come and hear the gospel without having to go through some local church. Some of these people would never set foot in a church, but are willing to go to these events. It’s a place Jesus uses to meet those that are seeking, but have not yet committed themselves to him.

Brothers and sisters the fact of the matter is this, if God decides not to heal a person, then this is up to God and not up to us. These people who accuse Benny Hinn as being false because not all are healed is foolish. These people who have said Benny Hinn is the healer have not told you the truth. There are hundreds of video clips where Benny Hinn states over and over that only Jesus Christ can heal. Benny Hinn has said this even on the Larry King show in times past. Those who say, or imply that Benny Hinn is the healer at these miracle crusades have not just misrepresented Benny Hinn, but have also misrepresented Jesus Christ. These people who misrepresent Benny Hinn do it either because of ignorance, or because of the lack of honest and serious research. Other reasons include false rumors, false witness, slander, and of course false, or erred reporting. Last but not least, some people who misrepresent Benny Hinn do so intentionally with malice and forethought to further their own agenda.

Now, in respect to those who do not get healed at a Benny Hinn crusade, I would like you all to consider the following. Jesus according to the scripture account did very few miracles in his own hometown. (See Matthew 13:57-58) The reason he did not was because of their unbelief. Question: from a Christian point of view, should a Christian believe on Jesus Christ, if Jesus did not heal all because some had unbelief? Shall we condemn Jesus Christ for not healing all in his ministry while on earth? Read the scripture from Matt 13:57-58 and think about it. The best any man of God can do is give a testimony of Jesus’ love and forgiveness and quote the promises Jesus made. But Jesus alone decides who he heals and why. He alone knows why in those cases when Jesus decides not to heal a person. It’s Jesus’ decision not Benny Hinn’s. Now I would like to remind us all with a word from the Word.

The scripture declares, “All have fallen short of the Glory of God, not one does good, NO …. NOT EVEN ONE.” However Jesus because of his great love paid it all on the Cross. He knew in advance about our pride, our sins, our arrogance, our religious pride, our hate and all the rest. Nevertheless in his mercy and love he paid our price in full. Call on him in the privacy of your own home. May he touch you in a way that convinces you he is the way, the truth and the life. Then may Jesus protect you with the power of his Holy Spirit from all self righteous Christianity. The real Jesus says just come, it already done. Come as you are. False Christianity say, DO, DO, or else.

Benny Hinn’s past erred words of knowledge

Before we continue I wish to state to all reading that I do not endorse Benny Hinn’s errors that have occurred in respect to some of his prophetic words of knowledge. It is clear Benny has erred in this over the years. It is also clear he has received many prophetic words of knowledge that are correct. However, regardless of Benny Hinn’s mistakes, I fully endorse the work of the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ being done through Benny Hinn Ministries and the Miracle Crusades. Benny Hinn is a son and a servant of Jesus Christ and I pray that Jesus Christ would deliver Benny Hinn of any and of all spirits that may be hindering him, or oppressing him. This includes those persons he works around as well as any other, family, friends, pastors, teachers or any hidden thing he may not be aware of, even in himself.

For those Christians reading now that believe Benny Hinn cannot be of God because of his past mistakes then I ask you this, have you sinned or fallen short in the last seven days from God’s point of view? Are your sins, less or greater than Benny Hinn’s? Are you saved by grace, or by the perfect keeping of the Law of Moses? If then it is by grace then why would you consider Benny Hinn not of God because of his past failures? Some of you might say well it’s different because Benny has given false prophecy, so he is a false prophet. Well, I say Benny Hinn has given erred words of knowledge unintentionally in his zeal. Either way you look at it, whether false prophet or false words of knowledge, in Jesus’ grace it is sin that is forgivable.

Some have said, according to the law a false prophet must be stoned to death. Yes, under the law from the Old Testament this would be true. It would also be true for adultery, fornication, false witness and a host of other sins. So if anyone among you reading today wishes Benny Hinn to be stoned to death in accordance with the Law of God, rather than correction in and by God’s grace, then what you have done is to put yourself back under the law and in doing so condemned and stoned yourself. Jesus taught and commanded his disciples to judge not and to love one another. To break this command of Jesus is just a deadly in the law of Christ, as false prophecy would be under the Law of God. Which is greater my friends the Law of Moses, or the Law of Christ Jesus? Question: Who reading here wants to be under the Law and fallen from grace? I will tell you, it is those who choose to stand in Jesus’ place as a judge in the law, rather than a minister of his grace. Friends pray asking Jesus Christ to correct Benny Hinn with his love, his mercy and in his grace and you will receive the same. Judge Benny Hinn by the law rather than by grace and you will also receive the same.

Matt 7:21-23

(21) Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, will enter into the kingdom of Heaven, but the ones who do the will of My Father in Heaven. (22) Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name cast out demons, and in your name do many works of power? (23) And then I will declare to them, I never knew you; “depart from Me, those working lawlessness!”

Many Christians who attack Benny Hinn like to use the scripture from Matthew 7 above, they like to focus on verse 22 in respect to power, such as casting out demons and the like. This I find this quite foolish since Jesus never once in this scripture denies if they did miracles in his name, he just states he never knew them. So technically even if Jesus was going to deny knowing Benny Hinn someday and command him to depart, there is nothing in this scripture that states the miracles were not real. Also prophecy in this scripture (Verse 22) has to do with the Gospel message. In the book of Revelation it states that Jesus is the spirit of prophecy and in Corinthians its states that prophecy is for believers, not for unbelievers. Remember, tongues are given as a sign for unbelievers, but prophecy is for believers. The entire word of God is considered prophecy and when you preach the gospel, it is prophesying in his name.

Last but not least I would like to point out the latter part of verse 21, which most attackers of Benny Hinn seem to ignore; it is, “but the ones who do the will of my Father in Heaven.” What is the will of his Father in Heaven? Well Jesus told us what the Father’s will is, he said; “Judge not, love one another, forgive, and pray for your enemies and so on. So regardless of Benny Hinn mistakes, or your point of view on Matthew 7:22, verse 7:21 applies to all Christians, not just to those working miracles in Jesus name. If you cannot obey verse 21 which commands us to obey his Father’s teaching about judging, then how are you any better than those described in verse 22? It’s a double edged sword brother’s and sisters, so let Jesus Christ be judge, lest he say to you as well, depart from me you worker of lawlessness, I never knew you.

Acts 13:38

38 Let it be known to you therefore, brothers, that through this man forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you, 39 and by him every one that believes is free from everything from which you could not be free by the Law of Moses. 40 Beware, therefore, unless there come upon you what is said in the prophets: 41 ‘Behold, you scoffers, and wonder, and perish; for I do a deed in your days, a deed you will never believe, even if one declares it to you.”

Notice above in verse 39 concerning the Law of Moses. To the mockers and scoffers of Benny Hinn reading today I suggest you read verse 41 above with humbleness and extreme care. Then I suggest you pray asking God in Jesus’ name that He would never apply this particular word to your life.

Question: What is the deed that God declares the scoffers and mockers would never believe? How about one of them being God using an imperfect man to work His perfect work of mercy and grace? A man Jesus Christ uses to display his miracle power and his love in spite of that man’s personal weakness, or failures. How about a man like Benny Hinn? Never some of you might say, well then the scripture is surely true, for verse 41 says a deed you will never believe, even if one declares it to you.

Warnings about false Christianity from Apostle Paul

Apostle Paul said the following about false Christianity: “They have a form of religion, but they deny the miracle power of God.” In other words false Christian churches will look Christian and to the average layman sound Christian, but they will have had NO tangible experience with the Holy Spirit of God. Apostle Paul also said, “Those that do not have the Spirit of Christ, are not his.” Paul in another portion of scripture said, “I did not come to you with eloquent words of men, but rather in fear and trembling and in the demonstration of the spirit, that your faith would not depend on man’s wisdom, but rather in the power of God.”

Jesus said, “If the blind leads the blind, will they not both fall in the pit?” Question: Did David Koresh do miracles to deceive his followers, did Jim Jones? NO!!! If they had they would have had millions of followers not hundreds. There was never a miracle in these cults, David Koresh and Jim Jones deceived by twisting the scriptures. These two deceivers were both very legalistic and controlling type of teachers.

They used the Bible in such a way in order to control their followers with guilt and shame, rather than teaching them about Jesus’ increasing love and grace. The lack of understanding Jesus’ grace covenant and his love will almost always produce teachers and persons that are legalist and self righteous. These legalistic teachers if not corrected by God, will in the worse case scenario, become cultic and possibly deadly. False Christianity always says, DO, DO, DO or else. But the REAL JESUS CHRIST always says come, just come it’s already done. The real Jesus says, Fear Not come as you are and I will give you rest.

Now continuing on Miracles……

Question:

When was the last time you heard of a Jewish Rabbi reporting a healing miracle in Israel? When was the last time you heard of a healing miracle by a teacher od Islam?

Now, the point I would like to make is, why hasn’t God allowed the other erred Christian denominations to manifest false miracles? Why hasn’t God allowed the same deceptive miracles to the Moslems, or to Rabbi’s in Israel? I mean if Satan could do false Miracles through Benny Hinn as many have accused, then I would think it would be a piece of cake for Satan to do it in the name of anyone. Think about it, when was the last time you heard of a person being completely healed of terminal cancer, or aids in a Satanic Temple. Let’s get real everybody; God gave you common sense didn’t he? Think about it.

Now, I agree Benny Hinn has made many errors outright doctrinally where he has no out and no excuse. But I have also heard others things said about Benny that were nothing more than slander, or sound bites that were blown out of proportion, or out of context.

Benny Hinn is a man saved by grace, growing in grace and making mistakes along the way. I am sure the Lord Jesus intends to grow Benny up and correct him in his erred doctrine.

I also know Benny understands grace correctly for former sins, but sometimes Benny has a legalist Galatians mentality (Galatians 3:1-29) in respect to Grace covering future sins. Benny sometimes forgets Jesus anoints him by election and grace for the sake of the people listening and coming to the crusades. It has nothing to do with Benny Hinn, or Benny Hinn being perfect. I also know Benny does not completely understand why so many people fail to understand the gifts of the spirit. One of the reasons is because Benny himself has misunderstood some of the gifts and Jesus’ purposes for them. What is sometimes foolish to men is not foolish to God, especially if God uses some of the manifestations of the Holy Spirit to stumble the religiously prideful, this to keep them away until they humble themselves. It also serves to reveal their hypocrisy and pride. Sometimes Jesus even reveals double mindedness with gentleness to the very servant Jesus uses to speak about Miracles.

Now having said that, I also say this Benny Hinn has been called of Jesus Christ since he was very young. Benny is called to evangelize and speak on the Gifts of the Holy Spirit and Jesus Christ’s Wonderful healing presence. Jesus Christ confirms that call with signs, wonders and Healing Miracles for the sake of Jesus’ Wonderful Gospel. Benny Hinn is an anointed man of Jesus Christ, but Benny himself is far from perfect. Jesus Christ’s power for healing is at every healing crusade for those persons LOOKING TO JESUS …. NOT to Benny Hinn. Don’t ever go to a Benny Hinn Crusade looking for Benny Hinn, go to these crusades looking to Jesus Christ and His Holy Spirit. Benny Hinn is nothing more than a servant and a son Jesus is using by grace.

Continuing in respect to Benny’s shortcomings from the PAST……

Regardless of Benny Hinn’s mistakes, Jesus Christ has anointed Benny and is using him mightily around the world. It’s called amazing grace saints.

Question for all

Is there anyone here reading this page today that has never made a doctrinal mistake? If you can say you have never made a doctrinal mistake, then I say we should take you to the Sea of Galilee so we can all watch you walk on water

Divisions within denominations

The divisions in many Christian denominations are usually due to foolish pride, this usually stemming from secondary doctrinal issues. It’s important to discern and take a stand when you are sure about erred doctrine. But it is also important to be careful how you hear. You must research for yourself before repeat a charge of heresy, or false doctrine. You need to hear it from the source, not a second, or third hand sources. Not only that you need to understand it in the context, or setting it was given. Sound bites from secondary sources are almost always for the purpose of slander, not truth.

You cannot trust second hand accounts from anyone. Now in Benny Hinn’s case he should not get so defensive when someone calls him on his Holy Spirit machine gun remark, and Hank Hanegraaff should not throw the baby out with the bath water because he himself has never experienced the tangible anointing of the Holy Spirit. ( That statement comes from Hank Himself, in the last chapter of His Book “Christianity in Crisis” )

Now, I personally know people who were healed BY JESUS CHRIST, at a Benny Hinn Crusade, this in spite of Benny Hinn. The Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ is working through Benny Hinn Ministries for a reason. Is it because Benny Hinn is perfect? NO WAY, in fact the Lord Jesus may have allowed him to make a bunch of mistakes doctrinally, just so the church could debate it and EVENTUALLY grow together through it, and eventually into unity and maturity. But in order for this to happen in the fullness, there must be restoration to the teachers Jesus Christ has called. Also there needs to be some fresh humility on all sides of this issue. These called teachers must also be as anointed with the Holy Spirit for their appointed gift, as Benny Hinn is in respect to his call to evangelize.

A good example of what I am talking about is an incident that occurred between Peter and Apostle Paul. Peter the anointed man and disciple of Jesus Christ. Then later the Apostle Paul, who once persecuted the entire Christian church, rebuked and corrected Peter publicly. I am sure Peter would have just ignored Paul if it had not been for the Holy Spirit bearing witness to Peter that Paul had indeed corrected him with Jesus’ authority.

My point is this; there are anointed teachers of Jesus Christ in training around the world, and God wants to use them to bring balance and correction to the evangelists that have made mistakes and of course to the entire body of Christ.

But first these called out teachers of Jesus Christ must know for sure and be aware that Jesus has indeed called these men, such as Benny Hinn and Rodney Browne, this call in spite of their personal mistakes. Just as Paul realized Peter was called, and Peter realized that Paul was called, even though they had some serious disagreement at one time.

So in order to teach with God’s anointing and power, you must be willing to be taught and re taught by the Holy Spirit and understand God does not use perfect men but yielded men. You must also understand it is by Jesus’ Grace and Mercy that Jesus uses any of us. Jesus had to fix a cut off ear once; the “upon this rock” kingdom kid blew it pretty good that day. Nevertheless Jesus knew Peter’s heart in spite of Peter’s great screw ups.

Once a person really understands this in their heart then Jesus can anoint his called out teachers or others with the same power. This so when corrections are needed, the teacher or person called of Jesus for this can speak and make doctrinal correction with the Holy Spirit confirming it with great power. This so the other person can receive it with zero confusion. Just like in the case of Peter and Paul. The Word and the Spirit of Jesus Christ bearing witness with great manifest power to confirm the truth.

I pray that all men that are called as teachers in the Lord Jesus would seek the Lord Jesus about all these things. I also hope you will ALL SEEK JESUS about these things, not just teachers.

Remember to take into consideration all the things I said in the beginning. Remember there are lots of churches with seriously erred doctrine. You need to ask yourself why Jesus Christ has not allowed Satan to do any false miracles in these other erred churches. Is Benny Hinn’s doctrine more evil, or erred than theirs?

I hope you see my point, I’m not trying to lift up Benny Hinn, and Benny has made lots of mistakes. But I am lifting up what the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ is doing at these miracle crusades in spite of Benny Hinn. Praise Jesus Christ for his increasing grace towards Benny and any believer.

Pray for Benny Hinn and seek the Lord Jesus to anoint you for his call and purpose for your life. Let me correct myself, your first call is to know Jesus as Lord and as your friend. Then learn to sit in your Heavenly Father’s lap as a child without fear, trusting his grace. Then you can say to your Father, Here I am send me.

ERRED WORDS OF KNOWLEDGE

If you are a minister or pastor who has erred in any word of knowledge then refrain from speaking any other word of knowledge publicly until God has corrected and instructed you on why your previous error occurred. This also goes for all who prophecy in the name of Jesus Christ or proclaim thus says the Lord. This goes for public ministry as well as local churches or fellowships. The Holy Spirit never makes mistakes, but we do if we get ahead of the Holy Spirit and get caught up in our own zeal.

Sometimes the Holy Spirit will come upon a man or woman to prevent them or protect them from speaking an erred word. When the Holy Spirit comes upon you it may also be to correct you or getting ready to tell you no, or wait. So wait and listen. Don’t assume the Holy Spirit wants you to speak a word just because the Holy Spirit comes upon you, especially if its just seconds right before or after a word is given to you. The Holy Spirit will not just come upon you with power to give you a specific word, but he will first fill you with great supernatural peace and then he will completely quiet your mind for many minutes before he speaks anything to you.

There will be at least two minutes of perfect quiet and peace in your mind before the Holy Spirit gives you a word. If there are sounds from worship, or distractions of any type it will not matter, for if the Holy Spirit is about to give you a true word of knowledge, he will take over and will quiet everything before he speaks that word to you. He does this so when that word comes you will know perfectly it is from the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ. If you get in a hurry or if your mind is racing with thoughts before the Holy Spirit has quieted it, then wait. Do not be in a hurry to speak any prophetic word of knowledge instantly. Also if a word comes during ministry in a public setting and it’s the first time you have heard this word, then wait for further confirmation from God.

It is better to leave the stage or pulpit to a private place to get further confirmation in prayer before speaking, than it is to speak a word of knowledge too soon. Do not rush to give that word, for God wants you to test that word to make sure you know it’s from him before you give it publicly. Those of you that do this will find that God will mature you very quickly as soon as he knows you will wait before you speak any word.

THE PROSPERITY MESSAGE

As far as the prosperity message is concerned this is God’s will and his promise but with some ministries it has gotten out of hand due to pride, or it has become the focus of their ministry rather than the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Ministers ask God to get your heart right and to keep it right so you are not corrupted by this wonderful promise from God. For many of you have crossed that line with God and you need to humble yourself and return to your first love in him. I pray he would help you do just that in Jesus’ Name.

Evangelical faith healer Pastor Benny Hinn claims he can cure the sick, make the crippled walk and rid terminally ill patients of cancer.

But Hinn’s supposed spiritual powers were no match for Brisbane’s peak-hour traffic.

The multi-millionaire was 50 minutes late for his Australian “miracle crusade” after his limo became stuck in traffic on a notorious stretch of the Gateway Arterial Freeway. When Hinn eventually arrived at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre at Boondall, in Brisbane’s north, he wore a white shot silk suit. Standing in front of a 350-piece choir, the televangelist, whose sermons are broadcast in 192 countries, strutted the stage, his brass buttons flashing and Madonna-style microphone headset firmly in place.

The 10,000-strong crowd reacted. Young children, teens, adults and the elderly rose to their feet. They wept, rocked and chanted, cried silent tears, spoke in tongues and smiled as the Californian preacher, who lives in an $8 million waterfront mansion in Orange County, performed a 20-minute rendition of the hymn I Love To Praise Him.

In a roped-off section of the entertainment centre, faithful in wheelchairs, unwell elderly and other infirm waited for a “miracle”.

Kelly Smith, a paraplegic, travelled from Ipswich. The 43-year-old recently suffered two strokes and a blood clot, and her husband Gavin has cataracts on his eyes.

“We’ve tried everything,” Ms Smith said. “Feng shui, wind chimes, crystals and positive thinking. We really wanted to give this a go.”

Nearby sat seven-year-old Bernie Hudson. The bright-eyed Cairns local, who was born with spina bifida and now suffers scoliosis, begged parents Ken and Karen to bring her along. She sat in her small wheelchair and waited, excited about the possibility of being able to walk.

“She gets up every morning at 5.30am to watch Benny’s show This Is Your Day!” Ms Hudson said.

“She watches the pastor healing other people, and thought maybe he could do something for her.”

But business comes before miracles when Pastor Hinn is in the building, it seems.

After an hour of songs, Hinn preached a recurring topic. Gold and silver. Silver and gold. The flamboyant non-denominational preacher, who receives an estimated $A110 million in donations per annum, used scripture to encourage crowd members to give. “Do you know how much gold the children of Israel gave Moses to build a tabernacle?” he asked. “Fifty thousand ounces of gold, 150,000 ounces of silver. In today’s prices that’s over 40 million US dollars in gold alone. I don’t know how much that is in Australian dollars, but that’s a lot of gold . . . and God blessed them.”

Hinn, who owns a $36 million private jet, continued in the same “rich” vein. For 90 minutes he talked dollars. The term “wealth transfer” was uttered 20 times in 10 minutes. “Gold” and “silver” was said 35 times in six minutes alone.

The man believed to be the world’s richest evangelist, who has repeatedly refused to join the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability, continued his focus on the almighty dollar.

“If God tells you to give $5000, obey him,” Hinn said.

“If God speaks and says give $10,000, obey him. Do not argue with God.”

Yet, as he talked of God’s love, the pastor couldn’t hide his quick temper. The 56-year-old became angry when a crying child interrupted the sermon.

“People came to hear God’s word, not children crying,” he snapped, singling out a distressed mother. “Do something with that baby.”

Seconds later Hinn’s security guards, former gridiron players in pinstripe suits and dark glasses, distributed donation envelopes to the crowd.

What’s your view on Benny Hinn? Perth student Amy Andrews, 25, gave $1000 and pledged to donate more.

“Pastor Hinn says the more you give, the more wealth and love you receive,” she said.

Then came the healing – a surprisingly hands-off affair administered by Hinn’s Australian volunteers.

People were stripped of canes and Zimmer frames, those in wheelchairs helped to their feet. One man, in his late 50s, cried with what looked more like pain than relief.

For Ms Smith, the Friday night event was a disappointing affair.

“There was too much talk about money, about the more you gave the more God loved you,” she said.

“I feel drained, let down and let’s face it, I still can’t walk.”

Hinn held two more miracle crusades in Brisbane yesterday. He flew to Auckland for the New Zealand leg of his world tour last night.

The Bible is filled with promises and accounts regarding health and healing for His children. God’s ever-present disposition toward us in this respect is reflected in His covenant with the children of Israel. In Exodus 15:26, He says, “I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healeth thee.”

David acknowledges that covenant when, in Psalm 103:1-3, he says, “Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases.”

Jesus ministered to the sick, doing miracles and healing all who came to Him. Matthew 4:23 records these words: “And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.”

Consider these passages of Scripture as you walk by faith believing for your miracle today:

Praise the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits – who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s. Psalm 103:2-5

Seek the LORD and His strength; Seek His face evermore! 1 Chronicles 16:11

“God is and has always been the Healer.

Have you ever been praying and something distracted you and you lost your revelation? It’s easy to do. But, God doesn’t want us to lose our focus. It makes it too easy for you to miss something.

Well, the same thing is true regarding the distractions of the world.

As praying people, we have an assignment and that is to pray. I’ve written a lot about the attack on Televangelists; but I know that there is a hedge of protection around each one of them: Kenneth Copeland Ministries, Joyce Meyer Ministries, Bishop Eddie Long Ministries, Ministers Creflo & Tammi Dollar, Randy & Paula White Ministries and Benny Hinn Ministries.

Now no matter what it “looks” like; we still have to keep our prayer focus. I am firmly convinced that these Ministries will be shown to be in the right.
