His work is of an international standard and seems to be perfectly calculated getting the perfect shots. Bold, strong and confident are words that come to mind when viewing his subject matter. There seems to be a perfect union of ‘production and photography’ which he is renowned for which is rather rare considering that he once confessed that this duality a flaw. This photographer is truly inspiring and makes fashion come to life and appear fun, we love the shoot he did with fashion editor of Cosmopolitan magazine, Bev Nates which featured most of our clothing. Currently he is with the creative agency Infidels (www.infidels.co.za) for bookings and also has his own site. (www.jesseleighelford.com)

Cosmopolitan Illustration

My first love in fashion was illustration as far as i can remember, after trying my hands on different aspects of the fashion industry i seem to be falling in love with fashion illustration again, and i have promised myself to polish this talent  along with my Styling and Visual Merchandising career :)

The October issue of Cosmopolitan South Africa featured an editorial originally photographed by Jesse-Leigh Elford and styled by Bev Nates, i went further by creating an illustration version of one of my favorite looks of the editorial.
