Beyonce Knowles has revealed that she will come up with a new album next year.

The ‘Single Lady’ hitmaker made the announcement while performing at a concert in Nottingham, England.

“I”ll see you in a year with a new album,” Contactmusic quoted her as telling fans at the Trent FM Arena.

Beyonce has spent most of this year touring and had released her last album, ”I Am… Sasha Fierce” in 2008.

Born in Crested Butte, Colorado, Montag moved to California after graduating high school where she enrolled at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. During freshman orientation, she met Lauren Conrad who was then a featured cast member on the MTV reality series Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County. After Montag and Conrad transferred to Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in Los Angeles, Conrad received her own spin-off series The Hills, which premiered on May 31, 2006. Montag was featured in the series sharing an apartment with Conrad while studying at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising. She eventually left the Fashion Institute in fall of 2005 when she was hired at Bolthouse Productions. According to Montag, she dropped out because she “did not find the school challenging.” Within two years, she was promoted to event planner at Bolthouse, before being fired and then re-hired.
Montag appeared in every episode of seasons one and two of The Hills, and appeared in season three, which aired on MTV on August 13, 2007. In the summer of 2006, Montag began dating fellow Hills cast member Spencer Pratt, a former manager of Brody Jenner. Season 2 of The Hills (which aired from January through April 2007) focused on Montag’s relationship with Pratt and its effect on her friendships with Conrad and fellow Hills cast member Audrina Patridge. On the Season 2 finale, Montag moved out of her apartment with Conrad to live with Pratt. Although Conrad maintained the two were still friends after Montag moved out, the friendship soon ended when Conrad blamed Montag and Pratt for spreading rumors about a sex tape featuring her and ex-boyfriend Jason Wahler. In October 2008, the pair reportedly ended their feud.
In August 2008, Lauren Conrad expressed feelings that The Hills is “definitely reaching its end”, citing the privacy pitfalls. Montag and Pratt have expressed an interest in adopting Conrad’s lead role and narrator. In a recent radio interview with Ryan Seacrest, Montag said “I think that maybe Lauren is tired of [being on the show], but we’re just beginning,” and that “We’re not even remotely sick of it.” Whereas Pratt stated that, “sometimes the narrator has to throw their hate up on the wall and pass the mic”, and expressed an interest in taking The Hills to a tenth season. In April 2009, Montag signed on to appear on the reality series I’m a Celebrity… Get Me out of Here!. Her appearance on the show, alongside husband Spencer, was criticized after the couple claimed they were subject to torture and left the show’s set multiple times before returning and ultimately withdrawing.

Acting career
In November 2008 Montag and Pratt shot scenes for an episode of the CBS sitcom How I Met Your Mother. The two appeared as themselves in an episode aired in January 2009.

Music career
In February 2007 Montag started work on an album with producer David Foster. It was also reported that she is on a one-song contract with Warner Bros., not a full studio contract as both Montag and her then-fiance Pratt had claimed. On August 16, 2007, Ryan Seacrest premiered Montag’s song, “Body Language”, featuring Montag rapping, on his KIIS-FM radio show. Both Montag and Pratt denied the song was her intended first single, with Pratt telling Us Weekly the tune “was a song Heidi and I were doing for fun. Never would I rap on her first single!” In December 2007, another track by Montag and produced by David Foster entitled “Touch Me” was leaked online.
On February 5, 2008, Montag’s first single, “Higher” received an online-only release on iTunes. The song and the video received a negative response from websites and readers across the internet, to which Montag responded, “I appreciate people taking the time to write any comment.” The following month, Montag released her second single, “No More”, through iTunes. In June 2008, Montag released two songs, her first official single, “Fashion” and “One More Drink.” Montag also revealed interest in releasing a Christian music album.
On August 18, 2008 Montag released a song titled “Overdosin’”.[29] On April 1, 2009, she debuted her single “Look How I’m Doing” on Ryan Seacrest’s KIIS-FM show. In March 2009 Montag hired songwriter Cathy Dennis to work on her upcoming album.
On August 23, 2009 Montag performed “live” one of her songs “Body Language” during the Miss Universe 2009 pageant in the Bahamas in front of an expected worldwide audience of one billion. The song “Body Language” samples music from the number one mega hit “Situation” by Yazoo (Yaz in US) and it was performed by Montag during the presentation of all delegates in their swimming costumes.

Fashion line
Montag debuted her fashion line, Heidiwood, at a fashion show at the Hollywood and Highland shopping center in Hollywood on April 11, 2008. Shortly after, she promoted her line in New York City, at MTV’s TRL, among other places.

Personal life
In 2005 Montag began dating Jordan Eubanks. Montag broke off her relationship with Eubanks in the spring of 2006, something she has described as “the best decision of [her] life” and “something that [she] should have done earlier”. After months of speculation and rumors, Montag said in September 2007 that she had breast augmentation, collagen lip injections, and rhinoplasty in April 2007.
In May 2007 she and Spencer Pratt announced their engagement. During The Hills season finale in December 2007, Pratt and Spencer broke off their engagement. During a broadcast of Ryan Seacrest’s radio show, Spencer said that he was madly in love with Montag and trying to win her back. On November 20, 2008, Montag and Spencer had a marriage ceremony in Mexico. No family members were present and the wedding ceremony lasted 15 minutes. Montag and Pratt married a second time on April 25, 2009 in Pasadena, California. Montag has publicly self-identified as Christian.
On March 3, 2008, Montag’s stepbrother Eric O’Hara was killed in a accident after a fall from an icy roof. O’Hara was a veteran of Iraq and Afghanistan and served the 82nd Airborne Division. Montag released a statement regarding the death:

Losing my brother at an early age is such a tragedy. I just loved him more than anything. He was just so patriotic. He really wanted to go to Iraq and help and do all that he could for his country. He felt like it was his duty. I’ll really miss him.
”
In an April 2008 interview Montag said she was a Republican and that she planned to vote for John McCain in the 2008 presidential election. Although not registered to vote when making that statement, she said that this was because she had been too busy and that she planned to register soon. In a later interview in July 2009 on Alex Jones‘ radio show, Montag retracted her Republican support and said she no longer believes in the left-right paradigm. During the interview Montag cited Jones’ documentary The Obama Deception as her reason for changing her political viewpoint.

And not how it sounds. Although I would absolutely love to be able to say that the mistakes in my performance last night were because I was trying to make them. The song is in Gb, we break for the bridge, and then I come back in F. If only I could have had my tremolo pedal on during that; then I could say I was just doing my Henry Kaiser diminished 7th scale stutter effect. That would have been a great way to have explained away the extreme suckiness of last night. Ever have those sets where you just have to look at yourself and say, ‘Seriously.’ And then you just laugh. That was last night. Worst ever. Unfortunately, the mistakes were all my own…and I was not trying to make them.

The problem was that I was trying not to make them. I know that’s subtle, but it’s a psychological shift. You can’t avoid mistakes by trying not to make them. I don’t know why. People smarter than I am (why is it so hard to type that?) say that the phenomenon is caused because as you try not to make mistakes, all you are thinking about is the mistake. Hence, your brain just goes there, and you make them. But that just sounds stupid to me. So I choose not to believe it. (Just like Beyonce Knowles sounds stupid to me…so I choose to believe she doesn’t exist.) But the result is still the same: you can’t play flawlessly by trying not to make a mistake. You have to focus on playing the right stuff, not on not playing the wrong stuff.

(This is when I lost any respect I may have had for Beyonce. Which is zero. Well, this isn’t the actual picture, but it’s the exact same look Robert De Niro had on his face when, at his AFI Lifetime Achievement Award dinner, in the middle of tones of respected actors introducing the best acting clips of his career, out of nowhere Beyonce comes up and sings him a choreographed version of The Star Spangled Banner. It was awkward. And he had this look on his face…like, bored, but trying to be polite…but yet a little bit confused, too.)

Now that’s like, Musician 101 stuff right there. I would very much like to think that I have long ago surpassed Musician 101 stuff. But when you can’t find E, when even if you were to just hit a random string you’ve got like a 33% chance of finding it, obviously not. And this is much more honest than I was intending to be here. So let’s just keep on that path of honesty. I was nervous last night. I’d like to think that I am beyond nervousness. But when you have to chromatically slide to find Ab…you’re nervous. And I was nervous because the night was for a conference, and it was being recorded. I usually don’t get nervous during recordings; but this night was with some new people whom I’d never recorded with before, and I suppose I was nervous because I really, really wanted them to listen back to the recording and marvel at my ‘wondrous purity of tone that is possibly only surpassed by the musical genius by which the tone was played.’ Alright, now we’re getting really honest.

So what happens when you’re nervous? You stop playing intentionally. Meaning, you stop just going for it, and hitting each note with authority and purpose. And you start playing tentatively, in hopes of not making a mistake. And then what ends up happening, is you make just as many if not more mistakes as you would have if you were playing normally; but you also make all the right notes sound weak and gutless also. So then, rather than having one or two, or maybe even zero, noticeable errors, you get like, 74 errors, plus making every right note and passage sound terrible as well. Which is what I mean by making mistakes intentionally. The mistakes are going to happen no matter what. So you may as well just play intentionally and with purpose, and let those mistakes sound out with authority. When playing with confidence, not only do you make all the correct notes, sounds, and passages sound as they should, but you also take the stress off of your mind and hands, and allow yourself greater possibility of not hitting wrong notes.

I wish I had read this post before I hit my D note last night so softly that it almost ended up being a harmonic. The emphasis being on ‘almost.’ And of course, an ‘almost harmonic’ is a ‘thunk.’ Which is bad. Unless you’re Henry Kaiser. hehe No! I’m not making fun of a successful guitarist to try to make myself feel better about my ‘less than stellar musical…uh…endeavors’…meaning thunks. It’s just that he plays a lot of thunks, and some people really seem to enjoy them. I’m just simply validating those people. I’m the good guy here. Unless you were there last night. I was definitely not the good guy. More like, the antagonist of all things diatonic.

Play intentionally.

Sharon: You came into my house, you touched my child…you think you’re crazy!?  I’ll show you crazy!  Just try me, b****!!

Derek (Elba) is happy and successful both at work and in his personal life.  He’s happily married to Sharon (Knowles), and they have a young son together.  What could possibly go wrong?  Well, a crazy temp could start working in Derek’s office, and this crazy temp, Lisa (Larter), could become obsessed with stealing Derek away from his wife.  That wouldn’t be much fun.

I have a theory about how this movie came into being.  I think a bunch of executives were sitting around thinking about what two actresses they wanted to see fight/wrestle each other.  Since Beyonce is everywhere, her name came up pretty quick.  Somebody else was a fan of the show Heroes, so Ali Larter’s name was thrown into the mix.  Eventually those were the two that were settled on, and they began trying to build a movie around that one fight scene.

Preposterous?  Well then maybe you haven’t seen the movie.  There’s not much else to it.  The plot progresses exactly as one would expect, so there’s really no reason to discuss the specifics further.

Idris Elba (and maybe Ali Larter as well) is too good for this kind of trash.  He has a good presence on screen and should be playing parts with much more substance.  Beyonce isn’t too bad, but she’s mostly there to act annoyed with Derek and then fight Lisa.

I will say this for the movie, it’s a borderline guilty pleasure sort of film.  The leads are all attractive, the dialogue is energetic, even when stupid, and then there’s the big fight at the end.  You might get a kick out of it, even if afterward you realize you never want to see it again.

Never trust a temp.

10 – 4.5 for being so predictable and standard and stupid – .5 for too much irrational, idiotic behavior from the characters = 5.0

Singer Beyonce Knowles promised fans in the UK, that she will return with a new album in 2010. Perhaps it could be a good time for the Queen Bee to have her first child.

Then again, seeing how hard it is, for Jennifer Lopez to make her comeback into music after having twins, perhaps Beyonce has made the right decision.

When it comes to trashy movies, there are generally two different categories. The first is the trashy movie that knows it’s a trashy movie, while the second and much, much worst category is the trashy movie that has no awareness of its trashiness. Luckily, Obsessed falls into the former category and builds to the climax that everyone who’s anyone wants to see. It also manages to reach the inexorable apex of its story without being boring along the way, which certainly earns it some points.

Directed by Steve Shill, who has worked on some pretty terrific HBO programs, Obsessed picks up on the scenario from Fatal Attraction somewhat and builds it to a knock-down-drag-out fight in the final sequences. This is a movie that is all about the build and all about the tension of what will happen and it uses every resource imaginable to do so.

Idris Elba is good as the happily married Derek Charles. He’s a successful executive vice president of a successful company and he’s living the dream. Derek’s marriage to Sharon Charles (Beyoncé Knowles) is a happy one and their child, Kyle, is the centre of their universe. As one might expect, everything changes when temp Lisa Sheridan (Ali Larter) steps into the picture. She meets Derek in an elevator and instantly becomes envious of what he has.

Lisa obsesses over Derek, using all of her assets to get at him in any possible way. She aims to seduce him initially, but the obsession grows and she begins to want to be in his life as a permanent fixture. Derek is having none of it, however, and this puts a significant strain on her plan. She works hard to get at him, drugging him at a business retreat and taking advantage of him. This leads to difficulty between Derek and Sharon, but the truth eventually comes out and leads to Sharon “asserting herself.”

One doesn’t go see a popcorn flick like Obsessed to ruminate about the nuances of the performances or the direction. Shill does work some nice tricks, though, and his approach to the material is clean and unfussy. He builds objects well, like a drink with a drug in it or a glass table, and knows how to draw our attention to the right places.

The match-up between Larter and Knowles is every bit as good as it should be, invoking every piece of cheesy fight cliché to get the job done in a sequence that literally tears the house apart. The two women really go at it and it works as a fun, thrilling sequence that ends as it should. It is the main event of the picture and Shill delivers the goods with a combination of timing and over-the-top glee. It’s a hell of a lot of fun to watch.

Obsessed is really a simple motion picture. Everybody holds up their end of the bargain and nobody comes up short, including the supporting cast. This is a movie that doesn’t stretch, doesn’t move mountains and doesn’t overreach. It certainly knows its boundaries and Shill does well to work within his parameters, taking few risks and delivering an entertaining, satisfying guilty pleasure of a picture that boasts a really cool fight scene to close things off aptly.

The film doesn’t bore along the way, either, and it’s fun to watch Larter attempt to scoop Elba’s character with a variety of sneaky attempts. She plays a good villainous woman here and matches up well with Knowles’ assertive but happy Sharon. There are also some good early moments that allow each actress to try their hand at subtle digs. Overall, Obsessed is just good fun. It’s a good matinee or drive-in picture that goes down easy with a soda and a nice big tub of popcorn.

In case you missed this, Queen Bey decided to take a dive into the crowd at a recent concert at the O2 Arena in London. Even though I read this might have been staged since they were filming for her I Am…Tour DVD, it’s still pretty fierce to see her crowd surfing in heels while still managing to hit those perfect notes.

In related news, her hubby Jay-Z just landed his fourth number one hit on the Hot 100, with current single Empire State of Mind with Alicia Keys. *shrugs*

Beyoncé featuring Lady GaGa – Video Phone

Wow.
That was everything I had hoped it would be…a hot diva mess! Bright colors, diva outfits, tranny make-up, and of course dancing. My favorite video of the moment. Although I will say that it leans towards more Beyonce’s style from the I Am.. era (to be expected), than anything The Lady is doing these days. It’s pretty safe, and it’s a little different seeing GaGa not wearing a vampire bat on her head, etc. I wonder when we’ll see the video for Telephone?

So I’ve been watching this damn thing all day … yet I only think to blog about it before I go to bed. [Total #blogfail]. Any-beyaki, here’s the insane, beautiful, colourful, ubersexual Video Phone remix video, featuring the ever-interesting Lady Gaga.

Now my love for Mrs Hova is well-documented, so ofcourse my take on this is total stanning a bit biased… There’s just so much going on in this video. Tarantino fans (like, um, me) will get the Reservoir Dogs reference; there’s a Betty Page wig and even a little bit of M.I.A Galang flavour (am I the only person who picked that up?). But, overall, this vid is just hella sexy. Enjoy!
