हमें कभी नहीं आई
किसी का दर्द देखकर
मन रोया मन भर आंसु
पर आंखें दरिया न बन पाई।
शायद लोग दिमाग से सोचते हैं
इसलिये हमदर्दी के शब्द जल्दी ढूंढ लेते
दिल तक नहीं पहुंचता
दूसरे का दर्द
कर लेते हैं दिखावे में कमाई।
नहीं करना सीखा पाखंड
इसलिये दूसरे के घाव पर मरहम लगाकर भी
अपने लिये ओढ़ लेते हैं तन्हाई।

यस्यात्मा विरतः पापाद कल्याणे च निवेशितः।
तेन स्र्वमिदं बुद्धम् प्रकृतिर्विकृतिश्चय वा।।
हिंदी में भावार्थ-नीति विशारद विदुर कहते हैं कि जिसकी बुद्धि पाप से परे होकर कल्याण के मार्ग पर आ जाये वह इस संसार में हर वस्तु कि प्रकृतियों और विकृतियों को अच्छी तरह से जान लेता है।

अर्थसिद्धि परामिच्छन् धर्ममेवादितश्चरेत्।
न हि धर्मदपैत्यर्थः स्वर्गलोकादिवामृतम्।।
हिंदी में भावार्थ-नीति विशारद विदुर कहते हैं कि जिस मनुष्य के हृदय में अर्थ प्राप्त करने की इच्छा है उसे धर्म का दृढ़तापूर्वक पालन करना चाहिए। जिस तरह स्वर्ग से अमृत दूर नहीं होता उसी प्रकार धर्म से अर्थ को अलग नहीं किया जा सकता।
वर्तमान संदर्भ में संपादकीय व्याख्या-यह कहना गलत है धर्म के मार्ग पर अर्थ की प्राप्ति नहीं हो सकती। धर्म-ईमानदारी, सहजता, परमार्थ, और अपने कर्तव्य से प्रतिबद्धता-का परिणाम ही अर्थ की प्राप्ति ही है। यह अलग बात है कि जल्दी अमीर बनने या आवश्यकता से अधिक धनार्जन के के लिये लोग अपने जीवन में आक्रामक और बेईमानी की प्रवृत्ति अपना लेते हैं। इस संसार में ऐसे लोग भी है जो बेईमानी से धन कमाकर कथित रूप से प्रतिष्ठा अर्जित करते हैं। ऐसे लोगों के व्यक्तित्व का आकर्षण समाज के युवाओं को आकर्षित करता है पर उनको यह समझ लेना चाहिये कि बेईमान और भ्रष्ट लोगों को धन, प्रतिष्ठा और बाहुबल की शक्ति की वजह से सामने कोई कुछ नहीं कहता पर पीठ पीछे सभी लोग उनके प्रति घृणा का भाव दिखाने से नहीं चूकते। फिर भ्रष्ट और बेईमान लोग का धन जिस तरह बर्बाद होता है उसे भी देखना चाहिये।

नीति विशारद विदुर जी के अनुसार जिस व्यक्ति ने ज्ञान प्राप्त कर लिया वह इस संसार में व्यक्तियों, वस्तुओं और स्थितियों की प्रकृतियों और विकृतियों को अच्छी तरह समझ जाते हैं। इस ज्ञान से वह विकृतियों से परे रहने में सफल रहते हैं और प्रकृतियां उनका स्वतः ही मार्ग प्रशस्त करती हैं। अत: जितना हो सके योग साधना तथा अन्य उपायों द्वारा अपनी बुद्धि को शुद्ध रखने का प्रयास करना चाहिए।

भर्तृहरि महाराज कहते हैं कि

कि वेदैः स्मृतिभिः पुराणपठनैः शास्त्रेर्महाविस्तजैः स्वर्गग्रामकुटीनिवासफलदैः कर्मक्रियाविभ्रमैः।
मुक्त्वैकं भवदुःख भाररचना विध्वंसकालानलं स्वात्मानन्दपदप्रवेशकलनं शेषाः वणिगवृत्तयं:।।

हिंदी में भावार्थ- वेद, स्मुतियों और पुराणों का पढ़ने और किसी स्वर्ग नाम के गांव में निवास पाने के लिए  कर्मकांडों को निर्वाह करने से भ्रम पैदा होता है। जो परमात्मा संसार के दुःख और तनाव से मुक्ति दिला सकता है उसका स्मरण और भजन करना ही एकमात्र उपाय है शेष तो मनुष्य की व्यापारी बुद्धि का परिचायक है।

वर्तमान संदर्भ में संपादकीय व्याख्या-मनुष्य अपने जीवन यापन के लिये व्यापार करते हुए इतना व्यापारिक बुद्धि वाला हो जाता है कि वह भक्ति और भजन में भी सौदेबाजी करने लगता है और इसी कारण ही कर्मकांडों के मायाजाल में फंसता जाता है। कहा जाता है कि श्रीगीता चारों वेदों का सार संग्रह है और उसमें स्वर्ग में प्रीति उत्पन्न करने वाले वेद वाक्यों से दूर रहने का संदेश इसलिये ही दिया गया है कि लोग कर्मकांडों से लौकिक और परलौकिक सुख पाने के मोह में निष्काम भक्ति न भूल जायें।

वेद, पुराण और उपनिषद में विशाल ज्ञान संग्रह है और उनके अध्ययन करने से मतिभ्रम हो जाता है। यही कारण है कि सामान्य लोग अपने सांसरिक और परलौकिक हित के लिये एक नहीं अनेक उपाय करने लगते हंै। कथित ज्ञानी लोग उसकी कमजोर मानसिकता का लाभ उठाते हुए उससे अनेक प्रकार के यज्ञ और हवन कराने के साथ ही अपने लिये दान दक्षिणा वसूल करते हैं। दान के नाम किसी अन्य सुपात्र को देने की बजाय अपन ही हाथ उनके आगे बढ़ाते हैं। भक्त भी बौद्धिक भंवरजाल में फंसकर उनकी बात मानता चला जाता है। ऐसे कर्मकांडों का निर्वाह कर भक्त यह भ्रम पाल लेता है कि उसने अपना स्वर्ग के लिये टिकट आरक्षित करवा लिया।

यही कारण है कि कि सच्चे संत मनुष्य को निष्काम भक्ति और निष्प्रयोजन दया करने के लिये प्रेरित करते हैं। भ्रमजाल में फंसकर की गयी भक्ति से कोई लाभ नहीं होता। इसके विपरीत तनाव बढ़ता है। जब किसी यज्ञ या हवन से सांसरिक काम नहीं बनता तो मन में निराशा और क्रोध का भाव पैदा होता है जो कि शरीर के लिये हानिकारक होता है। जिस तरह किसी व्यापारी को हानि होने पर गुस्सा आता है वैसे ही भक्त को कर्मकांडों से लाभ नहीं होता तो उसका मन भक्ति और भजन से विरक्त हो जाता है। इसलिये भक्ति, भजन और साधना में वणिक बुद्धि का त्याग कर देना चाहिये। भक्त  करते समय इस बात का विचार नहीं करना चाहिए कि कोई स्वर्ग का टिकट आरक्षित करवा रहे है।

जिन हिंन्दी के महानुभावों ने रसों की पहचान दी है वह भी खूब रहे होंगे। अगर वह इन रसों की पहचान नहीं कराते तो शायद हिन्दी वाले कई ऐसी चीजों को नहीं समझ पाते जिनको बाजार के सौदागर बेचने के लिये सजाते हैं। वात्सल्य, श्रृंगार, वीभत्स, हास्य, भक्ति, करुण तथा वीर रस की चाश्नी में डुबोकर फिल्में बनायी जाती थीं। फिर टीवी चैनल भी बनने लगे। अधिकतर धारावाहिक तथा फिल्मों की कथा पटकथा में सभी रसों का समावेश किया जाता है। मगर अब समाचारों के प्रसारण में भी इन रसों का उपयोग इस तरह होने लगा है कि उनको समझना कठिन है। कभी कभी तो यह समझ में नहीं आता है कि वीर रस बेचा जा रहा है कि करुणता का भाव पैदा किया जा रहा है या फिर देशभक्ति का प्रदर्शन हो रहा है।
इस देश में आतंकवाद की अनेक घटनायें हो चुकी हैं। पिछले साल 26 नवंबर को मुंबई पर हमला किया गया था। सैंकड़ों बेकसूरों की जान गयी। इससे पहले भी अनेक हमले हो चुके हैं और उनमें हजारों बेकसूर चेतना गंवा चुके हैं। मगर मुंबई हमले की बरसी मनाने में प्रचार तंत्र जुटा हुआ है। कहते हैं कि मुंबई पर हुआ हमला पूरे देश पर हमला था तब बाकी जगह हुआ हमला किस पर माना जाये? जयपुर, दिल्ली और बनारस भी इस देश में आते हैं। फिर केवल मुंबई हादसे की बरसी क्यो मनायी जा रही है? जवाब सीधा है कि बाकी शहरों में सहानुभूति के नाम पर पैसे खर्च करने वाले अधिक संभवतः न मिलें। मुंबई में फिल्म बनती है तो टीवी चैनलों के धारावाहिक का भी निर्माण होता है। क्रिकेट का भी वह बड़ा केंद्र है। सच तो यह है कि दिल्ली, बनारस और जयपुर किसी के सपनों में नहीं बसते जितना मुंबई। इसलिये उसके नाम पर मुंबई के भावुक लोगों के साथ बाहर के लोग भी पैसे खर्च कर सकते हैं। सो बाजार तैयार है!
वैसे संगठित प्रचार माध्यम-टीवी चैनल और समाचार पत्र पत्रिकायें-यह सवाल नहीं उठायेंगे कि क्या बाजार का आतंकवाद से किसी तरह का क्या कोई अप्रत्यक्ष संबंध है जो अमेरिका की तर्ज पर यहां भी मोमबतियां जलाने के साथ एस.एम.एस. संदेशों की तैयारी हो रही है। अलबत्ता अंतर्जाल पर अनेक वेबसाईटों और ब्लाग पर इस तरह के सवाल उठने लगे हैं। हम यह भी कह सकते हैं कि बाजार का अब वैश्वीकरण हो गया है इसलिये उसके लिये देश की कोई सीमा तो हो नहीं सकती पर वह भक्ति रस बेचने के लिये देशभक्ति का शगुफा छोड़ने से बाज नहीं आयेगा। जहां तक संवेदनाओं के मानवीय गुण होने का सवाल है तो क्या बाजार इस बात की गारंटी दे रहा है कि वह मुफ्त में मोमबत्त्यिां बंटवायेगा या एस. एम. एस. करवायेगा। यकीनन नहीं!
एक बाद दूसरी भी है कि इधर मुंबई के हमलावारों के बारे में अनेक जानकारी इन्हीं प्रचार माध्यमों में छपी हैं। योजनाकर्ताओं के मुंबईया फिल्म हस्तियों से संबंधों की बात तो सभी जानते हैं। इतना ही नहीं उनके भारतीय बैंकों में खातों की भी चर्चा होती है। पहले भी अनेक आतंकवादियों के भारत की कंपनियों में विनिवेश की चर्चा होती रही है। फिल्मों में भी ऐसे अपराधियों का धन लगने की बात इन्हीं प्रचार माध्यमों में चलती रही है जो आतंकवाद को प्रायोजित करते हैं। कहने वाले तो यह भी कहते हैं कि इस देश के पैसे से ही आतंकवादी अपना तंत्र चला रहे हैं। एक बात तय रही है कि यह अपराधी या आतंकवादी कहीं पैसा लगाते हैं तो फिर चुप नहीं बैठते होंगे बल्कि उन संगठनों पर प्रत्यक्ष या अप्रत्यक्ष अपना नियंत्रण रखते होंगे जिनमें उनका पैसा लगा है। मतलब सीधा है कि बाजार के कारनामों में में उनकी अप्रत्यक्ष भूमिका हो सकती है पर शायद बाजार के प्रबंधक इसका आभास नहीं कर पाते। सच तो हम नहीं जानते पर इधर उधर देखी सुनी खबरों से यह आभास किसी को भी हो सकता है। ऐसे में आतंकवाद की घटनाओं में बाजार का रवैया उस हर आम आदमी को सोचने को मजबूर कर सकता है जो फालतु चिंतन में लगे रहते हैं। वैसे पता नहीं आतंकवादी घटनाओं को लोग सामान्य अपराध शास्त्र से पृथक होकर क्यों देखते हैं क्योंकि उसका एक ही सिद्धांत है कि जड़ (धन), जोरु (स्त्री) तथा जमीन के लिये ही अपराध होता है। आतंकवादी घटनाओं के बाद अगर यह देखा जाये कि किसको क्या फायदा हुआ है तो फिर संभव है कि अनेक प्रकार के ऐसे समूहों पर संदेह जाये जिनका ऐसी घटनाओं से प्रत्यक्ष या अप्रत्यक्ष रूप से कोई संबंध नहीं होता? हालांकि इस विचार से भाषा, जाति, तथा धर्म तथा क्षेत्र के नाम पर होने वाली आतंकवादी घटनाओं की विवेचना भी भटक सकती है क्योंकि बाजार में सभी सौदागर ऐसे नहीं कि वह आतंकवाद को धन से प्रश्रय दें अलबत्ता वह लोगों में करुण रस को दोहने इसलिये करते हैं क्योंकि यह उनका काम है? बहरहाल प्रस्तुत है इस पर कुछ काव्यात्मक पंक्तियां-
सज रहा है
देश का बाजार रस से।
कुछ देर आंसु बहाना
दिल में हो या न हो
पर संवेदना बाहर जरूर बरसे।।

कभी कभी त्यौहार पर
जश्न की होती थी तैयारी।
अब विलाप पर भी सजने लगा है बाजार
सभी ने भर ली है जेब
उसे करुण रस में बहाकर निकालने की
आयी अब सौदागरों की बारी।।

कि दर्द का कुंआ सूख गया है।
इतना खून बहा देख है इन आंखों ने कि
आंसुओं की नयी धारा बहाये
वह हिमालय अब नहीं रहा,
देशभक्ति के जज़्बात
हर रोज दिखाओ
यह भी किसने कहा,
जो दुनियां छोड़ गये
उनकी क्या चिंता करना
जिंदा लोगों का भी हो गया रोज मरना
ऐ सौदागरों,
करुण रस में मत डुबोना पूरा यह ज़माना,
इस दिल को तुमने ही आदत डाली है
और अधिक प्यार मांगने की
क्योंकि तुम्हें था अधिक कमाना,
अब हालत यह है इस दिल की
प्यार क्या मांगेगा
नफरत करने से भी रूठ गया है।।

Bharat does not understand the simple fact that a lack of  peace with her neighbors stifles its growth. It does not comprehend the reality that “Akhand Bharat” will never be. It doesn’t get the actuality that it cannot impose its will on Khamandu, Dhaka, Colombo, Islamabad and Beijing. It doesn’t grasp the data that it cannot get anywhere without truly liberating the 450 million Dalits and Untouchables.

India has a few blind spots. It does not know about the blind spots. There is no one to show her the blind spots. India, a youthful country overrun by youngsters eking out a subsistence living in the mirage of Bollywood is unable to look at itself with any semblance of realism. A star struck destitute and impecunious populace is proud of evanescent and unattainable trophies, venerating educational institutions it can only brag about (never get admitted to), Billionaires it can worship on statistic charts and luxuries that it can dream about.

Inebriated by blindness towards a the goal of superpower status this populace is unable to see the deep cavities within its boundaries. Young xenophobic India votes for those that are hegemonistic and autochthonous. Its leadership impervious of the needs of the penurious is focused on expansionism and destabilizing its neighbors. It behaves like crack-addicts overwhelmed by blind hatred for Buddhists (the real ones who are not Hindu), Dalits, Christians and Muslims–this leadership doesn’t have a clue of what the white world thinks of Indians– unavoidable supplicators at best and disposable computer coolies at worst!

The poor of India, the Dalits, the scheduled classes, the Christians, the Naxalites and the Muslims left behind the onward march towards…march towards what? No one know. However these are details that are not mentioned in a nation that resembles Weimar Germany–fed on a steady dose of hatred, xenophobia and hostility towards real and perceived enemies.

Psephocracy is a form of government decided by “elections”. Orientalists will tell us all that the Greeks supposedly invented the ballot box when they voted with the psephos or ‘pebble’ in ceramic urns. Psephologyis the study of elections and voting, and a psephologist is an electoral scientist or analyst. In a psephocracy, the media is focused on inconsequential events and issues while the pullulating millions are unable even to see the affluence of those who manipulate the electorate through fear mongering and other tested mechanisms

Illusionary Democracy depends on Psephocracy as a way to legitimize the dictatorship of dynastic plutocracy-as practiced in the Brahamin corridors of power in India.

What happens after elections in a Psephocracy? Nothing. Elections simply endorse the will of the plutocrats who perpetually remain in power.

The seduction of the New East India Company overwhelms the senses of those who begin thinking of themselves as a new USA. The Indian nation tipsy by a shrinking $41 Billion call center industry (mislabeled and embellished as the IT industry) does not have the wisdom or the sagacity to see through the game. Too busy cajoling the USA, it has not only forgotten its roots, it is moving towards self-destruction. Like the 18th century India is ready to be pillaged and raped.

India is like a millstone on South Asia. It has kept all of South Asia in poverty. Now it is beset with humongous problems–the harvest of sowing seeds of destruction in her neighbors. When the tide rises all boats float up. When the tide sinks all boats go down. India is a dead weight on South Asia. In the process all of South Asia is doomed to another century of penury and poverty.

The Indian press has been sensationalizing the Mumbai terror. The Hinduvata will be using it to win elections. Indian officials are in a quandary. They are “rapt withal” unable to blame the internal terrorists or the mafia, forced to blame others. Pakistan is the favorite kicking boy of the media. Drunk with a false sense of “superpower status”, India is incapable of taking stock of its own internal issues. Indians are inebriated with the panglossian gloss perpetuated by Bollywood and a Western press pushing India towards a collision with China. India today it totally incapable of introspection and taking corrective actions.

We can count three possible elements that have contributed greatly to the marginalisation of Indian Muslims, something that Musharraf hinted at but was unable to clearly spell out. One set of reasons are contained in the Sachar Committee report requisitioned by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.

It vividly described the hapless state of India’s 150 million Muslims and recommended urgent measures in education and employment to stem the rot. There is a pathological problem with the the leaders of a country that sends $1 Billion to Afghanistan in a fools gold irridentist and revanchist errand to prop up a puppet President in Kabul. There is no moral compunction in supporting the Mayor of Kabul whose writ does not extend beyond Kabul. All this in a Quixotic mission to encircle Pakistan and extend Indian influence to the Amu Darya and beyond.

The third area of security concern for New Delhi is open rebellion in the Northeast. These insurrections do not make it to the daily headlines on CNN, but the fact is the New Delhi has very little control of Assam and the seven sisters that lie East of Bangadesh. Even Chinese occupied territory mislabeled “Aranchal Pradesh” has a huge body of rebels that want nothing to do with Delhi.

Communalism is a big threat to the so called “secular” country. Brahmans in Jammu in 2008 led a boycott of Kashmir forcing the Kashmiristo strive to trade directly with Pakistan. Church burning in Orissa are problem exacerbated by the separatists who strive for freedom from Delhi. The Gujarits Hinduvata massacred 3000 Muslims and hundreds of thousands are scared to go back to their homes.

चर्चा करते हुए कहा
‘भई, यह कम बजट की फिल्म है
इसलिये अधिक पैसे की उम्मीद नहीं करना।
इसमें केवल नायक के कपड़े ही
अधिक बनाने होंगे

वस्त्र धारण करेगी

आज यह ब्लाग/पत्रिका की पाठ पठन/पाठक संख्या एक लाख को पार कर गयी। इस ब्लाग/पत्रिका के साथ इसके लेखक संपादक के दिलचस्प संस्मरण जुड़े हुए हैं। यह ब्लाग जब बनाया तब लेखक का छठा ब्लाग था। उस समय दूसरे ब्लाग/पत्रिकाओं पर यूनिकोड में न रखकर सामान्य देव फोंट में रचनाएं लिख रहा था। वह किसी के समझ में नहीं आते थे। ब्लाग स्पाट के हिंदी ब्लाग से केवल शीर्षक ले रहा था। इससे हिन्दी ब्लाग लेखक उसे सर्च इंजिन में पकड़ रहे थे पर बाकी पाठ उनकी समझ में नहीं आ रहा था। यूनिकोड में रोमन लिपि में लिखना इस लेखक के लिये कठिन था। एक ब्लाग लेखिका ने पूछा कि ‘आप कौनसी भाषा में लिख रहे हैं, पढ़ने में नहीं आ रहा।’ उस समय इस ब्लाग पर छोटी क्षणिकायें रोमन लिपि से यूनिकोड में हिन्दी में लिखा इस पर प्रकाशित की गयीं। कुछ ही मिनटों में किसी अन्य ब्लाग लेखिका ने इस पर अपनी टिप्पणी भी रखी। इसके बावजूद यह लेखक रोमन लिपि में यूनिकोड हिंदी लिखने को तैयार नहीं था। बहरहाल लेखिका को इस ब्लाग का पता दिया गया और उसने बताया कि इसमें लिखा समझ में आ रहा है। उसके बाद वह लेखिका फिर नहीं दिखी पर लेखक ने तब यूनिकोड हिन्दी में लिखना प्रारंभ किया तब धीरे धीरे बड़े पाठ भी लिखे।

उसके बाद तो बहुत अनुभव हुए। यह ब्लाग प्रारंभ से ही पाठकों को प्रिय रहा है। यह ब्लाग तब भी अधिक पाठक जुटा रहा था जब इसे एक जगह हिन्दी के ब्लाग दिखाने वाले फोरमों का समर्थन नहीं मिलता था। आज भी यहां पाठक सर्वाधिक हैं और एक लाख की संख्या इस बात का प्रमाण है कि हिन्दी अपनी गति से अंतर्जाल पर बढ़ रही है। मुख्य बात है विषय सामग्री की। इस ब्लाग पर अध्यात्मिक रचनाओं के साथ व्यंग, कहानी, कवितायें भी हैं। हास्य कवितायें अधिक लोकप्रिय हैं पर अध्यात्मिक रचनाओं की तुलना किसी भी अन्य विधा से नहीं की जा सकती। लोगों की अध्यात्मिक चिंतन की प्यास इतनी है कि उसकी भरपाई कोई एक लेखक नहीं कर सकता। इसके बाद आता है हास्य कविताओं का। यकीनन उनका भाव आदमी को हंसने को मजबूर करता है। हंसी से आदमी का खून बढ़ता है। दरअसल एक खास बात नज़र आती है वह यह कि यहां लोग समाचार पत्र, पत्रिकाओं तथा किताबों जैसी रचनाओं को अधिक पसंद नहीं करते। इसके अलावा क्रिकेट, फिल्म, राजनीति तथा साहित्य के विषय में परंपरागत विषय सामग्री, शैली तथा विधाओं से उन पर प्रभाव नहीं पड़ता। वह अपने से बात करती हुऐ पाठ पढ़ना चाहते हैं। अंतर्जाल पर लिखने वालों को यह बात ध्यान रखना चाहिये कि उनको अपनी रचना प्रक्रिया की नयी शैली और विधायें ढूंढनी होंगी। अगर लोगों को राजनीति, क्रिकेट, फिल्म, आर्थिक, सामाजिक तथा राजनीतिक विषयों पर परंपरागत ढंग से पढ़ना हो तो उनके लिये अखबार क्या कम है? अखबारों जैसा ही यहां लिखने पर उनकी रुचि कम हो जाती है। हां, यह जरूर है कि अखबार फिर यहां से सामग्री उठाकर छाप देते हैं। कहीं नाम आता है कहीं नहीं। इस लेखक के गांधीजी तथा ओबामा पर लिखे गये दो पाठों का जिस तरह उपयेाग एक समाचार पत्र के स्तंभकार ने किया वह अप्रसन्न करने वाला था। एक बात तय रही कि उस स्तंभकार के पास अपना चिंतन कतई नहीं था। उसने इस लेखक के तीन पाठों से अनेक पैरा लेकर छाप दिये। नाम से परहेज! उससे यह लिखते हुए शर्म आ रही थी कि ‘अमुक ब्लाग लेखक ने यह लिखा है’। सच तो यह है कि इस लेखक ने अनेक समसामयिक घटनाओं पर चिंतन और आलेख लिखे पर उनमें किसी का नाम नहीं दिया। उनको संदर्भ रहित लिखा गया इसलिये कोई समाचार पत्र उनका उपयोग नहीं कर सकता क्योंकि समसामयिक विषयों पर हमारे प्रचार माध्यमों को अपने तयशुदा नायक और खलनायकों पर लिखी सामग्री चाहिये। इसके विपरीत यह लेखक मानता है कि प्रकृत्तियां वही रहती हैं जबकि घटना के नायक और खलनायक बदल जाते हैं। फिर समसामयिक मुद्दों पर क्या लिखना? बीस साल तक उनको बने रहना है इसलिये ऐसे लिखो कि बीस साल बाद भी ताजा लगें-ऐसे में किसी का नाम देकर उसे बदनाम या प्रसिद्ध करने
से अच्छा है कि अपना नाम ही करते रहो।
मुख्य बात यह है कि लोग अपने से बात करते हुऐ पाठ चाहते हैं। उनको फिल्म, राजनीति, क्रिकेट तथा अन्य चमकदार क्षेत्रों के प्रचार माध्यमों द्वारा निर्धारित पात्रों पर लिख कर अंतर्जाल पर प्रभावित नहीं किया जा सकता। अपनी रचनाओं की भाव भंगिमा ऐसी रखना चाहिये जैसी कि वह पाठक से बात कर रही हों। यह जरूरी नहीं है कि पाठक टिप्पणी रखे और रखे तो लेखक उसका उत्तर दे। पाठक को लगना चाहिये कि जैसे कि वह अपने मन बात उस पाठ में पढ़ रहा है या वह पाठ पढ़े तो वह उसके मन में चला जाये। अगर वह परंपरागत लेखन का पाठक होता तो फिर इस अंतर्जाल पर आता ही क्यों? अपने मन की बात ऐसे रखना अच्छा है जैसे कि सभी को वह अपनी लगे।
इस अवसर पर बस इतना ही। हां, जिन पाठकों को इस लेखक के समस्त ब्लाग/पत्रिकाओं का संकलन देखना हो वह हिन्द केसरी पत्रिका को अपने यहां सुरक्षित कर लें। इस पत्रिका के पाठकों के लिये अब इस पर यह प्रयास भी किया जायेगा कि ऐसे पाठ लिखे जायें जो उनसे बात करते हुए लगें।

अधिकतर लड़कियां अपनी मां की बात मानने या सुनने वाले लड़के पंसद नहीं करती। यह पता अब जाकर इस आधुनिक समाज को चला है। सच कहें तो सदियों से पेट में दबी बात अब जुबान में आयी है वरना तो कौन इसे मानता? आधुनिक संचार माध्यमों में तमाम बुराईयां हो सकती हैं पर उससे ऐसे सच सामने भी आने लगे हैं जिन पर समाज जानबूझकर पर्दा डालता आया है। अपने घर का सच बताने में हर पुरुष शर्माता है। चार लोगों के बीच वह यह साबित करता है कि उसका अपने घर पर पूरा नियंत्रण है। अगर कोई गलती से कह दे कि ‘मेरी घर में नहीं सुनी जाती है तो सुनने वाले उसकी मजाक उड़ायेंगे।
इसके विपरीत चार औरतें आपस में मिलेंगी तो अपने परिवार के दोष गिनाने में नहीं चूकेंगी। सासें एकत्रित हुईं तो बहुओं और अगर बहुऐं मिली तो सासों की शिकायत करती हैं।
कोई कोई तो कहते भी नहीं झिझकती कि ‘हमारे पति तो अपनी मां के चमचे हैं।’
कोई मां भी कह जाती है कि ‘मेरा लड़का तो जोरु का गुलाम है।
मान लीजिये ऐसे वार्तालाप में कोई पुरुष दूसरे की निंदा सुन रहा हो तो वह भी ऐसा जाल में फंसता है कि चर्चा किये जाने वाले पुरुष को वैसा ही समझ लेता है। अगर औरत के साथ पुरुष का रक्त संबंध हुआ तो वह उस पुरुष के बारे में प्रतिकूल टिप्पणी भी कर जाता है-‘कैसा आदमी है? क्या उसे घर चलाने की अक्ल नहीं है, लगता है बाप ने कुछ सिखाया ही नहीं है।’
एक औरत मां, पत्नी, बहिन सास तथा दादी तथा अन्य रिश्तों में पुरुष का साथ निभाती है तो पुरुष भी पुत्र, पति, ससुर तथा भाई के रूप में निभाता है। कहने का तात्पर्य यही है कि स्त्री पुरुष के संबंध उसके रिश्तों के अनुसार बनते और बिगड़ते हैं। जब कहीं स्त्री पुरुष के आपसी रिश्ते बिगड़ते हैं तो रक्त संबंधों के अनुसार हर कोई किसी का पक्ष भी लेता है। कहते हैं कि स्त्री का चरित्र और पुरुष का भाग्य कोई नहीं जानता पर यह फार्मूला पुरुष पर भी समान रूप से लागू है।
सफल पुरुष वही है जो स्त्रियों के आपसी संबंधों में बस हां हु ही कहता रहे।
कई बार पत्नी ताना देती है कि ‘जाओ, अपनी मां की बात सुनो। मेरी सुनते ही कहां हो?’
उसके तत्काल बाद मां की भी ताना मिल सकता है कि ‘जा जोरु के गुलाम! तेरी बात पर अब मेरा भरोसा नहीं रहा।’
एक दिन हम एक सेठजी की दुकान पर खड़े थे। उनका एक मित्र आया और बोला-‘तुझे कल सामान खरीदने बाहर चलना है कि नहीं। इतनी देर से दुकान पर न बताने आया और न ही नौकर के हाथ से संदेश भेजा।’
सेठजी ने कहा-‘यार, घर पर एक काम है। देखना पड़ेगा कि चल पाऊंगा कि नहीं।’
उस समय फोन की सुविधा ऐसी नहीं थी जैसी आज है। वह आदमी बोला-‘सीधा कह न! बीबी से पूछे बिना कोई काम नहीं कर सकता।’
सेठजी ने भी सरल भाव से कहा-‘तुम क्या बीबी से बिना पूछे चल रहे हो। परसों जब मैंने चलने को कहा था तो क्यों नहीं चला? तेरा नौकर बता रहा था कि घर से मना कर दिया है। अब तुम मेरे को अपनी सफाई मत देना।’
वह आदमी हंस कर चला गया। उसके जाने के बाद सेठजी हमसे बोले-‘एक बात कहूं। बाहर आदमी कितना भी शेर बनता हो पर घर में होते सभी भीगी बिल्ली हैं। यह अलग बात है कि कोई इस बात को मानता है कि नहीं।’
औरत अगर बहु है तो वह चाहती है कि पति अपनी मां यानि उसकी सास से पहले उसकी बात सुने। अगर मां है तो वह चाहती है कि इतने बरसों से जिस लड़के को पाला है वह मेरी बात सुने।’
फिर इस पर बहने और अन्य रिश्ते भी होते हैं। बहिन सोचती है कि भाई अपनी साली से अधिक हमें तवज्जो दे। साली है तो वह चाहती है कि जीजाजी हमें अपनी बहिन से अधिक सम्मान दें।
हमारे यहां समाज पुरुष प्रधान इसलिये है क्योंकि अभी भी अधिकतर प्रत्यक्ष आय का भार उस पर है-याद रहे अमेरिकी विशेषज्ञ कहते हैं कि सामान्य भारतीय गृहिणियां अपनी पति से अधिक आय करती हैं यानि वह इतना काम करती हैं कि अगर उनका रुपये में मूल्यांकन हो तो पति से अधिक आय उनकी होना चाहिये। इस प्रत्यक्ष आय के कारण उसका प्रभाव घर पर रहता है पर दूसरी समस्या उसके साथ यह है कि वह हमेशा घर से बाहर ही होता है। दिन में घर पर क्या हुआ? किसने क्या कहा? उसे पता तब चलता है जब वह शाम को घर वापस आता है। हर कोई अपने हिसाब से अपनी बात उसे सुनाता है। ऐसे मेें उसकी थकान और तनाव बढ़ जाता है। यह घर घर की कहानी है। इस पर हंसने जैसी कोई बात नहीं है। यदि इन बातों पर आप हंसते हैं तो इसका आशय यह है कि अभी आपका विवाह नहीं हुआ या फिर आप हमसे क्या अपने आपसे अपना सच छिपा रहे हैं।
अब सवाल है कि लड़कियां ही ऐसा लड़का पसंद नहीं करती जो मां की बात सुनता है तो फिर उसके जीवन साथी से आप क्या कहेंगे? मां की बात सुन क्योंकि पुरुष तो तू है। इधर दहेज एक्ट और घरेलू हिंसा के भी कानून बना रखे हैं तब आदमी पर एक दबाव तो रहता ही है। एक अजीब संयोग है कि इस समय वंदेमातरम को लेकर तमाम तरह की चर्चा है ऐसे में ही एक टीवी चैनल से यह संदेश निकला कि ‘लड़कियां ऐसा लड़का पसंद नहीं करती जो मां की बात सुनता है।’ इन्हीं लड़कियों में ही भविष्य की मातायें हैं और कभी वंदेमातरम शब्द सुनकर उनको भी खुशी होगी पर अभी उनके लिये इसका क्या मतलब? ऐसे में अगर कोई लड़का अगर पसंद होने और करने के लिये-आजकल दोनों की मर्जी चलती है- किसी लड़की से मिलने गया और जाते ही बोला दिया ‘वंदेमातरम’, तब वह तो पहली नजर में ही अस्वीकृत कर दिया जायेगा। हमने टीवी चैनल के उस कार्यक्रम के कुछ हिस्से कभी कभी देखे हैं और उसमें लड़कियों की लड़कों की माताओं पर टिप्पणियां भी सुनी है तब यह सोचते हैं कि समाज ने बहुत समय से कई बातें दबा कर रखी हैं जो सामने आ रही हैं।
हमारे एक सेठ जी कहते थे कि सफल पुरुष वही है जो औरतों की विवाद में बस हां हु करता रहे। जिस आदमी ने सोचा कि मैं कोई फैसला कर शांति करवाऊं वह अपने घर के साथ ही अपने दिल की भी शांति ऐसे दांव पर लगा देगा कि काम पर भी उसका मन नहीं लगेगा।’
बहरहाल स्त्री और पुरुष के आपसी संबंधों के साथ ही स्त्रियों के आपसी रिश्ते भी होते हैं और उनके बीच जब पुरुष फंसता है और बात ऊंच नीच हुई तो पुरुष का ही नाम खराब होता है क्योंकि नाम उसके घर पर ही चलता है। इस विषय पर एक विद्वान का कथन याद आ रहा है। जब यह निर्णय किया गया कि स्कूल में प्रवेश के समय पिता के नाम की अनिवार्यता नहीं होगी और मां भी अपना नाम वहां लिखा सकती है। तब उन विद्वान ने कहा था कि ‘पुरुष का तो बस एक नाम ही था वरना तो घर तो चलाती स्त्रियां ही हैं। अब वह नाम भी पुरुष के हाथ से गया।’

गिला शिकवा खूब किया
दिन भर पूरे जमाने का
फिर भी दिल साफ हुआ नहीं।
इतने अल्फाज मुफ्त में खर्च किये
फिर भी चैन न मिला
दिल के गुब्बारों का बोझ कम हुआ नहीं।
इंसान समझता है
पर कुदरत का खेल कोई जुआ नहीं।

उन्होंने चमन सजाने का वादा किया
नये फूलों से सजाने का
पता नहीं कब पूरा करेंगे।
अभी तो उजाड़ कर
बना दिया है कचड़े का ढेर
उसे भी हटाने का वादा
करते जा रहै हैं
पता नहीं कब पूरा करेंगे।
इंतजार तो रहेगा
उनके घर का पेट अभी खाली है
पहले उसे जरूर भरेंगे।
तभी शायद कुछ करेंगे।
