So initially wasn’t going to post these trailers, but then I decided to actually watch them. The teaser trailer doesn’t really tease me of anything, just made me NOT want to watch this film. It didn’t help that Nicolas Cage is in this movie and I really don’t like the guy and the films that he’s done.

Then I saw the Red Band trailer for one of the character’s Hit Girl and this clip featuring Nicolas Cage and Chloe Moretz. Now I’m kinda sold on this film. Is the film is as garbage as I anticipate it to be, at least I will know that Hit Girl will be SICK! This could be the film that makes me like Cage. I love that when most fathers are teaching their daughters how to ride bikes and tie their shoes, Cage is teaching Moretz how to take a bullet from close range.

“Kick-Ass” is about this teenager who’s obsessed with comic books and decides that he wants to be a superhero named Kick-Ass. He then encounters Big Daddy (Cage) and Hit Girl (Moretz) and other vigilantes.

“Kick-Ass” opens in theaters April 16, 2010 and stars Aaron Johnson, Nicolas Cage, Chloe Moretz, and Christopher Mintz-Plasse.

More Kick-Ass goodness involving Hit-Girl showing use her moves. She’s now a little older and has a potty mouth. Oh how thay grow, it seems like only yesterday she was just a sweet little girl taking bullets in the cheat for ice cream. That would be  the Bullet Proof clip we showed you then. For those of you who don’t know The plot of Kick-Ass concerns a teenage boy, Dave Lizewski (Aaron Johnson), who decides to become a real-life superhero after being inspired by the heroes of comic books. He soon encounters a mysterious vigilante called Big-Daddy (Nicolas Cage), and his daughter Hit Girl (Chloë Moretz), who are working to bring down the drug baron Frank D’Amico.

Be-be-blang-blang-blang-bing-blang-blang-blang… No, not THAT Deliverance, my Big Daddy figure arrived today! He could use one or two more bits of articulation, but it is nicely done, with especially close attention to texture. Fab! I’ve found a nice animatic* of a swordfight in a cathedral which I’ll adapt for this fight with Hellboy, so I’m nearly set. Wish me luck!

Man, this is starting to pick up pace now. The last issue of the comic is out next week I think. Reviews have been in coming in and it all seems good. Roll on April 2010.

Kick-Ass has come out with yet another poster with Nic Cage’s character, Big Daddy, on the front, thanks to UGO for the picture. Take a look at this interesting Mark Millar adaptation and go to SHH to check out a short clip which is pretty funny and cool.

11 Days to go….to Christmas Eve…In order to win over Tay and his BFF-dom i have brought a shrubbery and decorated it in a festive fashion. If nothing else, you MUST be impressed by my mediocre decorating skills…   

The Shrubbery

If you have been keeping up with my posts (which of course you have!), you know that I am not of a slender nature. As a young one, I was slim, with a head of curly hair, and a caboose. I looked like a frilly toothpick with an olive half way down. But life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness have gathered on various parts of my body through the years, and this includes my hind parts.  At this point, my olive has been over stuffed.

One day, after doing some running, I needed to hop into the shower to defunkerate. We have a stall shower in one of our bathrooms, which is a nice way of saying vertical coffin with water. Needless to say, there isn’t a whole lot of room for maneuvering and even less so when you’re as well endowed as I. Nevertheless, it gets the job done and if properly used, one comes out all nice and clean and sparkly. If properly used…..

Everything was going along swimmingly. I had finished lathering up and was returning the soap to its place, when I dropped it. “Hmmmm, this is going to be interesting. Bending forward is no use, because I still won’t be able to grab the soap and I might fall out of the shower, which is not out of the realm of possibility for me, really. I can’t lean to the side and pick up the soap because I’ll hit my head on the side of the stall or I could myself get wedged between the side walls and need an aerial rescue that would require the jaws of life for extraction . Got it! I’ll give myself some room if I face the back of the shower and point my bum towards the curtain. I do the hokey, pokey, turn myself around and head south.

I grab the soap and stand back up. Woo hoo! back in business….Where’s all that light coming from? Why is the bathroom rug getting all wet? Wait, why can I even see the rug …what the….? Upon successful retrieval of the soap and subsequent return to vertical, my bum, my caboose, my junkie trunk had swallowed my ENTIRE shower curtain. My hungry bum ate the whole thing.

In comes Big Daddy who needs to use the commode. Trying to figure out why he needs a row boat to get to it, he looks up and sees me holding the soap in one hand and dislodging my butt drapery with the other. He shakes his head.

All I can do is smile because really, how does one explain a self-induced curtain wedgie?

For some people we loved the star trek crew we thought of it as a civilization of living the star trek cultral made billions of  dollars.                                                                                                                                                                                                 

The star trek has won several awards like the geek award from mtv but they never was able to make a hugo award so ill give the crew a reward the tony award.                                                                                                                                       

It sooo perfect – I’d love to see this live or like a scary ride at an alternative Disney Land

Dear Taylor (whoops sorry wrong blog)

Thanksgiving has come and gone…I had no turkey, did not see a parade, nor did I have pie…pumpkin or otherwise…Cause NZ kinda blows like that…but for the past few days I’ve been reading letters over on LTT about what people are thankful for and some over-enthusiastic classical dancer decided that she in fact is the only Tay-gay in the village and composed an EPIC list in Tay’s honour…yes she mentions the abs, his parent’s sex life (yeah that’ll def make him want you) and his “healthy-ness” (dont worry child…he’s got a long way before he catches up with Daddy Lautner…and not if I have something to say about it)

So I decided (cause now I’m def the only Tay Gay in the village after the dancer was run over by a Cullen or La Pushed off a cliff by a Jorted-one) that I would make a list of what Taylor would be thankful for…(cause speaking for him really turns him on…)

*He’s thankful for photo-shopped abs…as long as it’s some Brazilian model being expoited…he’s ok with that…

Eeeep! TMI man...TMI...

This is the last time I will be hating on this blog…I was mean but I needed to get it out since the blog I was about to unleash my wrath on was shut down.I’m sorry if letting the bitch out of the bag offended anyone…

 I know the post was Tay-heavy but I needed to celebrate…there have been grapes, plaid and dead Taycob-band-wagon-hopping-dancers (hopefully) and this is my way of saying suck on that sistah!

Anything other Twi-loves would be thankful for? Kellan for being told he is a VILF? Ashley for the make-out photo shoot with Jackson? Kristen for getting to touch His Holy Hotness?

Wonderful, wonderful photoshoot – a Big Daddy and Little Sister in an aquarium tunnel. Top notch costumes, great modelling and excellent photography. I’d have liked to see some shallower depth of field in there, but other than that I can’t fault it. Props to Harrison Krix, his fiancee and their photographer!

Como bien les dije, es turno de ver unas nuevas screencaps del muy afamado y esperado Bioshock 2 que saldrá en el próximo año fuck las imágenes vienen en una excelente resolución la cual nos permite apreciar a fondo la calidad del trabajo que 2K le ha invertido a esta secuela.

Lo espero con ansías… Bueno a estas alturas espero tantos juegos que no se como voy a a hacer para jugar tanto juego chingon que viene para el 2010.
