Jaa! I lördags var jag och såg New Moon på bio! Den var mycket bättre än jag hade hoppats på, bättre än ettan också  11 pers var vi, och vi hade en jättetrevlig kväll!

Har inte så mycket mer att skriva… Imorgon har vi “Idrotts-prov”, handlar om uppvärmning och orgentering och sånt. Och på torsdag är det fysikprov… blä :/

Hundar är inte hela världen, men de gör världen hel…

Monday the 23th of November I was invited by KLM to attend the special event regarding the first partly “bio-fueled” flight with passengers on board. The flight would take off on Schiphol, Amsterdam Airport and fly around the Netherlands for approximately one hour. It’s a demonstration flight with one engine running on a mixture of 50% traditional kerosene and 50% biofuel. The biofuel is not yet certified, but this might be an important step towards a “greener” aviation future. The biofuel is made from Camelina, for more info about this plant click here. The flight would be attended by VIP’s like Peter Hartman (CEO of KLM), Maria van der Hoeven (Minister of Economic Affairs) and many others. In total around 40 people would attend the flight. Armed with just my iPhone I covered the event through my KLM Fan Twitter account, but below here you can read my experiences in sentences longer dan 140 characters..

Bad weather

Before I would attend the “biofuel event” I first had a little trip around Schiphol East in some hangars. I will write down my experiences later on this blog, but it was really fun to check out the amazing hangars at Schiphol. More of that later. The weather was pretty much horrible: rain, some wind and not a single bit of sunshine made this quite a grey day. But that’s typically the autumn weather you can expect in The Netherlands. Due to my early arrival at Schiphol I was also very early in the KLM Jet Centre, where the press that would attend the event was welcomed.

I was there too early and saw the flight crew get their briefing for the flight. After a bit of walking around and the usual “where should I register and get my press pass”-hassle I found the area where the press could eat and drink. After a nice bit of small talk with some “colleagues” (and an interview) we saw some familiar faces like Peter Hartman, Maria van der Hoeven, but also Wim Kuijken (Secretary-General of Public Works and Water Management) and André Kuijpers (Dutch astronaut). I also spoke with a woman from Honeywell, the company that made the biofuel that was used for the flight.

After refusing at least 10 glasses of juice/wine/water and 20 slices of bread (catering was great), it was time for some speeching. Peter Hartman officially welcomed Maria van der Hoeven and talked about the importance of this flight and the future of aviation. Next we (the press that did not attend the flight itself) was directed to a bus that took us to the plane to make some pics and cover the boarding process.

Luckily it was all dry now, so we could take some excellent pics of the Boeing 747 that would be used for the flight. The Boeing had a special livery with some “eco” messages on it and ofcourse thanks from the WWF (which were also involved in the process). We could walk all around the plane and enjoy the overwhelming sight of the blue & white plane, while the attendees boarded the flight. The plane left to take-off and the press was taken back to the Jet Center.

After arriving most of the press left, however there was still the opportunity to cover a flight moment and the arrival of the 747. I decided to stay and we were taken next to a runway were the plane would do a so called “lowpass”. The airplane would pass the runway on a low altitude to make a nice shot. Unfortunately the rain really started to pour at that moment, which made it a true “survival adventure” outside. Luckily after twenty minutes the plane flew really close over our heads, which was just an amazing experience.

We hopped back in the bus and drove through the rain back to the place where the passengers would leave. The airplane landed safely and everybody seemed to have enjoyed the flight. Despite the heavy rain and the fierce winds while leaving the plane, most of the VIP’s haircuts remained in good condition. The event would continue in a hangar nearby, but I decided to go home (as my iPhone was empty as well due to all the live covering). So back to the Jet Centre to take the bus to Schiphol Plaza.

And now?

The event and the flight were both very succesfull and it was great to see the big Boeing take off, knowing that one engine was running on biofuel. Let’s hope this idea is developed further and that we might see more of these flights in the near future. It was great that KLM launched this initiative and that in the future we can look back at this day and state it was the start of a global change in aviation.

A biofueled smile

La nouvelle de gamme de déodorants Ushuaïa BIO

Ushuaïa poursuit son engagement pour le BIO en proposant une nouvelle gamme de déodorants aux ingrédients BIO assortis aux gels douches lancés l’été 2008. La gamme est composée de 4 produits : « Argan du Maroc », « Hibiscus du Burkina Faso », « Thé vert de Chine » et « Vanille de Madagascar ».

Selon les tests effectués en laboratoire, ces déodorants bille sont efficaces contre les odeurs de transpiration sur une durée de 24H. Ils ne contiennent ni sels d’aluminium, ni colorants de synthèse, ni parabens. Ceux-ci sont à 100% d’origine naturelle et composés à 10% d’extraits végétaux issus de l’agriculture biologique, ce qui leur a valu d’être certifiés par Ecocert et labellisés par Cosmébio.

Le packaging est constitué de polypropylène et est recyclable. Grâce à sa petite taille, le déodorant Ushuaïa BIO est facile à emporter et à ranger.

Ushuaïa est une marque grand public et c’est pourquoi ses produits doivent rester accessibles à une majorité de la population. Ainsi, les déodorants Ushuaïa BIO sont vendus en grandes surfaces à 4,85 € les 50 ml depuis le 15 avril 2009.

La promotion de ce produit a été réalisée par l’agence « La Belle & la Bête » à la demande du groupe Lascad (L’Oréal) à divers niveaux :

-une campagne télévisée

-des bannières sur Internet (Yahoo, TF1, MSN, Auféminin.com, Doctissimo, …)
-la création d’un site Internet contenant des témoignages vidéo, des informations sur la marque et le concept BIO, un e-mag animé par 3 bloggeuses connues (Chris d’Ego, Mam’zelle Emie et Capucine), la découverte interactive des 4 destinations d’origines des 4 ingrédients phares,…

Le fait de passer par différents médias pour la promotion du produit me parait une bonne chose. J’aime beaucoup le spot télévisé qui rappelle exactement celui pour les gels douches. La voix-off et la musique sont reposantes ce qui, je trouve, s’allie merveilleusement bien avec l’idée d’apaisement que font naître ces produits. En ce qui concerne la création du site, cela me plait aussi énormément. Toutes les questions que l’on peut se poser concernant les nouveaux déodorants Ushuaïa BIO trouvent une réponse dans ce site. De plus, la présentation des ingrédients de base par les locaux de la région renforce cette idée d’évasion.

Je ne peux pas me prononcer quant aux déodorants BIO car je ne les ai pas encore testés. Cependant, j’aime beaucoup les gels douches Ushuaïa et particulièrement celui à la fleur d’Hibiscus de la Vallée du Nil. Mes prochains achats seront sans aucun doute le gel douche et le déodorant BIO « Hibiscus du Burkina Faso ».

Tadammmmmm! J’ai le plaisir de vous présenté ma derniére serie de poupées que j’avais specialement mijoté  pour ma vente-expo à Grenoble. Fidéle au précedente collection, le style est simple, les couleurs vives mais toujours douce. Ce qui est nouveau et que j’avais envie de tester ce sont les ensembles tunique-robe et pantalon assortis.

J’ai eu un gros coup de coeur pour ce coton couleur océan qui se mari trés bien avec le vert d’eau. Vous risquez de le retrouvez dans un bon nombre de mes créations à venir. Je me suis également amusée avec ma machine à broder les encolures et les ourlets, c’est joli et le fini est plus pro.

Pour les cheveux de laine, je choisis toujours des couleurs naturels avec  une préférence pour les rouquines et les blondes.

Cette fois ci les poupées sont pratiquement toutes accompagnés d’un sac besace en feutrine, que l’on peut ouvrir et refermer grace à un precieux bouton en nacre veritable. 

Un gros plan sur les tailles élastiques des pantalons ou des jupes des poupées.

Voilà ma chouchoute au cheveux de feu, elle porte une grande blouse noué à la taille avec une ceinture de coton.  Elle me rappelle les poupées anciennes cousus dans des linges par les mamans pour leur enfants.

Et enfin je tenais à vous montré cette petite merveille, ces cheveux sont en laine mohair couleurs d’automne.  Les reflets sont magnifique!

J’ai hesité à travaillé des couleurs un peu plus originales, j’imagine que ça ne plaira pas forcement des cheveux rose, violet ou orange ? Qu’en pensez vous ça serait la révolution des cheveux rose chez La Maman d’Ismaël?

leider vergesse ich zu oft, dass in meinem büro eine ganze küchenausstattung ist, inklusive mikrowelle. die hat meinen ‘Coop Naturaplan Bio Quick Kartoffelstock mit Broccoli und Mandeln’ (Coop Allschwilerstrasse, 2 franken 50) so aufgeheizt, dass mir das objektiv anlief.

der kartoffelbrei an sich hätte eine überdurchschnittliche  note verdient. leider haben meine zähne das, was als Broccoli und Mandeln deklariert ist, als sand empfunden. ebenfalls negativ in die bilanz fliesst, dass ich jetzt abwaschen muss – so wie wenn ich das in letzter zeit nicht genug tun müsste. zudem hab ich hier im büro, trotz vollständiger küchenausstattung, keine gummihandschuhe.

was mir meine charmante gastgeberin hier auftischte, war leider saucenmässig ein bisschen herausfordernd. darum leider die bestnote knapp verfehlt.

Lobbyiste du climat

A 35 ans, Sandrine Mathy a déjà un emploi du temps de ministre, qu’elle partage entre son travail de chercheuse au CNRS et la présidence du Réseau Action Climat (RAC). A quelques jours du sommet de Copenhague, rencontre avec l’une des lobbyistes françaises les plus compétentes sur le sujet.

Militante ? « Oui, c’est un sacerdoce, mais ça donne du sens à ma vie. » Sandrine Malthy, chercheuse en économie de l’environnement, tient les rennes du Réseau Action Climat (RAC) depuis 2006, un collectif d’associations qui fait référence en matière de lutte contre le changement climatique. Être née en 1974, au lendemain du second choc pétrolier, prédestine-t-il à acquérir très vite des réflexes verts ? « Éteindre la lumière quand on sort de la pièce ou couper l’eau pendant que l’on se brosse les dents ? » : Sandrine Malthy en rit comme pour rejeter tout héritage familial. Tout juste consent-elle à rappeler, sourire au coin, que son papa « fait son jardin depuis toujours » et qu’il « ne met ni engrais ni pesticides ». Un peu juste pour se forger une conscience verte. C’est donc seule que sa destinée de militante écologiste s’est forgée.

Au cours de ses études d’ingénieur, elle rejoint l’Inde. Ce voyage « confirme une sensibilité déjà présente. Étudiante, je travaillais déjà bénévolement pour Ingénieurs sans frontières. Cela m’a permis de me poser des questions sur le monde dans lequel on vit. » A la fin de ses études, c’est l’heure des choix : « Si j’étais partie bosser dans le privé, je n’aurais jamais obtenu les réponses à mes préoccupations de militante. Du coup, comme les problématiques environnementales sont étroitement liées au secteur économique, je me suis lancée dans l’éco. » Une thèse sur l’intégration des pays en développement dans les politiques climatiques, un poste de chargée de recherche au CNRS en économie de l’environnement au CIRED (Centre International de Recherche en Environnement et Développement), de multiples publications et colloques : sa route est tracée. Enfin presque. En 2006, en acceptant la présidence du RAC, la vie de la jeune femme bascule.

Pas intimidée par Sarkozy

Depuis, Sandrine Mathy, mère d’un garçon de sept ans, a mis sa vie privée entre parenthèses. « Le gros problème est apparu lors du Grenelle de l’environnement où le RAC coordonnait l’action des ONG sur le thème du climat, avoue-t-elle. Cela a été très compliqué au niveau personnel. Mais je m’étais engagée, je devais assumer. Les gens attendaient des choses de moi et il ne fallait pas les décevoir. Depuis, je pose un peu plus de limites… » Mais se profile déjà la Conférence sur le climat de Copenhague. C’est plus fort qu’elle. Elle ira, dit-elle. Pour sentir l’ambiance. Seulement ?

Avec sa tignasse rousse, ses yeux pétillants et sa tenue décontractée, Sandrine Mathy ne passe pas inaperçue. Quand elle prend la parole, elle est de celles que l’on écoute. Avec un CV long comme le bras en guise de caution, la jeune femme n’a peur de rien, ni de personne. Beaucoup disent s’être sentis intimidés face à Nicolas Sarkozy. Pas elle. « Je l’ai vu souvent. Je le trouve hautain et agressif, mais cela ne m’a jamais empêchée de lui dire ce que j’avais à lui dire, notamment sur son paquet énergie-climat, dont il n’y avait pas de quoi se vanter… » La franchise est sa vertu cardinale. On la croit sur parole. « Mais je manque parfois d’assurance. » Là, on ne la croit plus. L’un des administrateurs du RAC confirme pourtant : « Elle a parfois du mal à se mettre en avant, à être proactive, mais elle s’est nettement améliorée depuis le Grenelle. »

Stop ou encore ?

La jeune femme ne rejette pas l’idée d’une éventuelle entrée en politique, . « Si je me sens plus utile là bas… ». Avant de vite accrocher un bémol à son propos : « Ce n’est clairement pas d’actualité, mais un jour pourquoi pas. En tout cas, ce ne sera pas dans ce gouvernement, qui ne me convient pas du tout. » Bénévole depuis des années, elle a développé un certain scepticisme vis à vis du monde politique. « Les politiques ne prennent pas la mesure des changements nécessaires, regrette-t-elle. Ils pensent que l’on peut continuer comme avant, qu’il faut juste verdir un peu le paysage. Il y a un manque de courage. » C’est dit.

Si Sandrine Mathy laisse planer un léger doute sur son futur, c’est qu’elle confie se retrouver souvent à bout de souffle. Elle a ainsi prévenu ses collaborateurs que l’envie d’arrêter la titillait parfois. « Ce serait une grosse perte pour le RAC, confie un administrateur. Elle est reconnue dans son domaine, elle dispose sous la main d’un réel réseau et d’une notoriété qui nous sert. Et puis, elle est très appréciée humainement. » Entre son travail, de recherche et la présidence du RAC, elle a peu de temps à accorder à son fils et à son compagnon. « Parfois, il y a une vraie lassitude, car je donne souvent des conférences le soir, après ma première journée de travail. J’ai souvent des jours à rallonge, et mon boulot de chercheuse peut en pâtir… » Mais son entourage est toujours là pour la rebooster.

Intègre et intelligente, Sandrine Mathy fait l’unanimité dans son milieu. Même si « elle est têtue et capable de partir défendre seule son idée contre tous », confie un collègue. Un défaut autant qu’une qualité. Autre (vrai) défaut ? « Elle adore les chouquettes », confie un autre. La gourmandise, péché véniel… « J’aime bien faire de la moto de temps en temps », avoue-t-elle, un peu gênée. Ah, enfin un truc qui cloche ! Et qui ne tient pas longtemps quand elle raconte ne grimper à bord d’un avion que dans le cadre professionnel, ne se déplacer qu’à vélo, ne manger que des produits bio et utiliser des ampoules basse consommation. Soit. Si la femme parfaite n’existe pas, avec Sandrine on a peut-être trouvée la militante écologiste idéale.

Det är samma personer som laddar ner, hyr dvd:er, köper dvd:er, nyttjar internetbaserade filmtjänster som går mest på bio. Samma personer. Undersökning efter undersökning indikerar detta. Fildelning stjäl inte tittare. Biobesöken minskar inte, det är filmtittandet i andra visningsfönster som ökar, vilket innebär att biografbesöken utgör en mindre andel av den totala filmkonsumtionen.

Och här trodde jag att filmbranschen bara brydde sig om pengar. Skäms på mig. De har tydligen en stolthet som kan sargas också.

Parece que acabamos de abandonar el verano en que con suerte recogimos las cosechas de un plan de pérdida de peso. Y es entonces, cuando recién nos hemos puesto la cazadora, y hemos conseguido ir al gimnasio  o hacer deporte… Es cuando ya acecha la navidad!!! Las ciudades ya están entre ofertas navideñas, luces, y anuncios de juguetes: Para bien o para mal, hablamos de una época de excesos gastronómicos, un tour de forcè entre familiares, amigos y compañeros de trabajo.
Se ha calculado que para digerir los alimentos consumidos en la cena de nochebuena o fin de año se necesita entre 10-12 horas y nadie cumple este espacio de tiempo porque a una cena abundante nos enganchamos una comida del tipo.
Además, a esto hay que sumar que se consume mucho más alcohol. El valor calórico de estas bebidas es muy elevado, y se puede manifestar, sobre todo con el paso del tiempo, en forma de dolor de cabeza, resaca, enfriamiento, ronquera, afonía, acidez gástrica, diarrea, calambres musculares por fatiga, etc.
Pero aunque parezca increíble, existe un componente formidable debido a su gran eficacia para contrarestar estos excesos gastronómicos: El Chitosán
Pero,  ¿QUÉ ES EL CHITOSÁN, Y PARA QUÉ SIRVE?

El chitosan es un producto derivado de la chitina, un polímero natural extraído de las cutículas de crustáceos marinos. Es biodegradable y carece de efectos secundarios, lo que le convierte en un producto con numerosas aplicaciones en el campo de la medicina, la bioquímica, la cosmética y la nutrición

Propiedades del Chitosán:
Al ser una fibra de origen marino que no se absorbe ni se digiere, al llegar al estómago y encontrarse en un medio ácido, atrapa a los lípidos aquí presentes para ser eliminados posteriormente en la excreción. Parte de la grasa ingerida en la dieta, al ser captada por chitosan se convierte en no absorbible y, por tanto, de valor calórico nulo. El chitosan puede captar hasta 5 veces su propio peso en grasa, inhibiendo la absorción del 15-20% de la grasa ingerida a través de la alimentación.

RETOMANDO, PARA QUÉ TENEMOS QUE TOMAR EL CHITOSAN, cuáles son sus efectos:

Aligera la dieta.
Reduce parcialmente la absorción de la grasa aportada por la dieta.

Y RECORDEMOS: NO TIENE EFECTOS SECUNDARIOS

•    Sirve para compensar eficazmente eventuales excesos alimentarios, evitando la ganancia de peso y ayudando a mantener la silueta
•    Favorece el proceso de adelgazamiento en caso de sobrepeso, pues obliga al organismo a utilizar las grasas de reserva acelerando la lipolisis (combustión de las grasas).

Además, Chitosan extraforte incorpora Cromo en su fórmula. Este mineral interviene en la regulación de los azúcares y grasas potenciando el efecto del Chitosan.

Aux Etats-Unis, la “Transition” prépare l’après-pétrole

Au beau milieu des Etats-Unis, l’après-pétrole a commencé. Au pays de l’essence pas chère et de la négation du réchauffement, des groupes de citoyens se sont donné pour mission d’aider les communautés américaines à se préparer à la double échéance de la fin du pétrole et du changement climatique. Leur mouvement a un nom : la Transition. Son cœur bat à Boulder, dans l’Etat du Colorado (Etats-Unis), une enclave libérale et progressiste de 100 000 habitants au sein de montagnes Rocheuses, réputées très conservatrices.

Tous les mercredis, on se bouscule sur le marché fermier de Boulder – une curiosité en soi au royaume du centre commercial. Entre les étals de fruits et légumes des agriculteurs bio, les militants de la Transition distribuent leurs tracts. “L’agriculture industrielle, fondée sur des carburants bon marché, va s’effondrer“, prédit Michael Brownlee, chef de file du mouvement aux Etats-Unis. “Tout notre mode de vie est condamné. C’est très dur à entendre pour les Américains, élevés dans l’idée qu’ils le méritent.”

Fondé par Rob Hopkins, le mouvement de la Transition a pris corps en 2006 à Totnes, petite ville anglaise de 8 000 habitants, avant d’essaimer dans le monde entier. Ses militants ont un but : rendre leurs villes résilientes avant le chaos qui s’annonce, par la quête de l’autarcie énergétique et alimentaire. Avec une conviction : c’est l’opportunité pour l’humanité de construire un monde meilleur. Et un credo : la relocalisation de toutes les productions.

Formé par les fondateurs du mouvement à Totnes, Michael Brownlee, ancien journaliste, a créé à Boulder, en 2008, la première initiative américaine de la Transition. Depuis, l’association locale, qui emploie trois salariés, a mué en centre de formation de nouveaux groupes dans tout le pays et accouché d’un Transition Colorado, puis d’un Transition US. En un an, quarante initiatives ont vu le jour aux Etats-Unis.

“80 % de notre travail est centré sur l’agriculture locale, c’est le levier le plus efficace à court terme, ce dans quoi les gens peuvent le plus facilement s’engager“, explique M. Brownlee. “1 % seulement de notre nourriture est produite à l’intérieur du comté, or ses habitants dépensent 650 millions de dollars par an pour l’alimentation. Il y aurait là de quoi sauver notre économie !” Les groupes créent des potagers communautaires, encouragent l’installation d’agriculteurs bio par des systèmes d’abonnement proches de ceux des Associations de maintien d’une agriculture paysanne (AMAP) en France.

Au sein d’une nation où le sens de la communauté et du lobbying ne sont pas des vains mots, le message passe. Soixante-quinze restaurants du comté affichent leur engagement à privilégier les produits locaux. Même les supermarchés mettent en valeur sur leurs rayons la production de la région. “La Transition ne doit pas juste être un groupe de gens dans leur coin. Il faut engager toute la communauté pour avoir une chance de réussir”, explique M. Brownlee.

Le comté de Boulder soutient et finance le mouvement. La collectivité a créé un conseil de l’agriculture et de l’alimentation, dans lequel siègent des représentants de la Transition. Et ses élus ont entrepris de réorienter en douceur les monocultures industrielles vers une agriculture vivrière de proximité. Avec un atout maître : grâce à une politique d’acquisition foncière de longue haleine, la majorité des terres agricoles sont des propriétés publiques louées aux exploitants. Un quasi-kolkhose, au pays de l’Oncle Sam !

Ancien maire de Boulder, Will Toor, est l’un des trois dirigeants de ce comté de 300 000 habitants : “Nous essayons de développer les cultures maraîchère et biologique, mais ce n’est pas si simple. Il faut d’abord créer des débouchés, assurer un marché local. Surtout, nous manquons de fermiers !” Volontariste, le comté a créé sa propre formation à l’agriculture pour encourager les vocations. “Quelqu’un qui suit la formation et nous présente un business-plan peut obtenir des terres quasiment gratuitement”, assure M. Toor.

Jag har gått på bio bra de senaste veckorna. Det gör mej nöjd och glad. Det är så jag vill ha det! Har säkert sett en, ibland två, filmer per vecka ganska länge nu. I veckan som börjar imorgon tippar jag på att det blir två.

Den första imorgon blir imorgon. Twilight 2 på Heron City! Ska bli roligt. Jag väntar mej dock att första filmen är bättre. Den kändes lite budget liksom, vilket resulterade i najsigt filmande som kändes äkta och inte för överarbetat. Snygga färger, snygg miljö, bra känsla.

Jag är inget fan av Twilight, jag har inte läst böckerna eller så. Jag diggade bara första filmen fett mycket. Den pirrriga spänningen i filmen är ju i en totalt egen klass och karaktärerna och deras awkwarda konversationer var klockrena. Och Kristen Stewart är bäst. Jag är nog ett Kristen Stewart-fan. Får se om det blir ansträngt i bilen hem sedan, jag misstänker att delar av sällskapet är Twilight-fans, och de går väl inte så bra ihop med Kristen Stewart-fans? Grrr, alla brudiga Twilight-fans är ju bara avundsjuka på henne, av någon knäpp anledning till och med! Vad fan, det är ju Bella som är hela filmens juvel. Inte den där Pattinson.

Anywhowayyay, ska bli roligt att se filmen. KRISTEN STEWART!

My opinions & thoughts on this artist/singer: This is one of my favorite J-Urban and R&B singers, JAY’ED. The first song I’ve ever heard from him was CRY FOR YOU and after I heard that song, I fell in love and never turned away from his music. I’ve enjoyed all of his albums so far and honestly I think MUSICATION his second album was just as good as his debut album The Gift ~Just Let Me Know~ and that’s saying a lot since those are pretty much the only albums he has ever made. I really can’t wait until he does a third album because his voice is really lovely, soulful, and truly r&b. I love that t-shirt he is wearing on the picture on the right, that’s one of my favorite pictures that he has ever taken ;]

BIO: This wonderful singer is a crossover Japanese R&B singer who was born in 1981 in New Zealand to a Japanese father and a Kiwi (a New Zealander) mother. He released his debut album in May of 2006 titled The Gift ~Just Let Me Know~. He is currently signed to the Toy’s Factory label. Hey all. If it wasn’t brought to your attention, I have been on a blogging hiatus because I’m studying for my LSAT on December 6th. I guess God was smiting me because I contracted Swine Flu. My friends say it’s because I’m a pig. I say it’s because I had sex with your mother. BOOSH! Some say this is karma. Me? Well, I totally agree. Even though dystonia-girl was just looking for attention and is a big fat faker[edit:Not a faker, her symptoms were mostly mental] who turned out to have a speedy recovery. Well lah-dee-dah, your highness. Do cheerleaders just get everything? Grrr.

Well, as we all know swine flu is very serious and I’ve put a lot of thought into it. So here is my last will and testament:

I never was a rich man, basically because I have a slew of terrible habits. What little money I do have though, will go to who ever tracks down Maddox (the self proclaimed famous blogger) and kick him right in his self-serving balls. This guy is funny, sure, but his act is kind of tired and his book sucked. Know what else? He didn’t respond to my email. And I’m not just some kid whining he didn’t meet Maddox. Nope. He called out Swine Flu on his blog, and I was going to sneeze in his face and spit in his ginger ale as he requested.

Igår var vi ju på New Moon. Hade läst och hört lite innan att den inte alls skulle vara lika bra som 1:an, men jag blev ganska positivt överraskad. Det jobbiga var dock biopubliken som skrek och visslade så fort någon av killarna hade bar överkropp….Filmen får iaf godkänt och den slutade ju helt underbart med att….hahah ska inte avslöja, men man ser ju helt klart fram emot nästa del!

Am stat si m-am gandit in mod special la fructe si legume pentru ca acestea sunt produsele pe care cu greu le gasesti ca fiind “curate”, BIO. Astazi ma gandeam la acest subiect si mi-am amintit ca am vazut mai demult pe un blog american o postare interesanta despre cum putem afla daca fructele / legumele de pe rafturile marilor magazine sunt sau nu modificate genetic. 1. daca produsul are 4 cifre (de ex. 4021), inseamna ca a fost crescut intr-un mediu normal, insa nu BIO. Produsul insa NU a fost modificat genetic.

2. daca produsul are 5 cifre, iar prima cifra incepe cu 9, inseamna ca este BIO

3. daca produsul este format din 5 cifre iar prima cifra este 8 (de ex. 86584) inseamna ca acesta a fost modificat genetic!!!

Asadar tineti minte aceste aspecte atunci cand cumparati fructe sau legume din supermarket !!!

Les AMAP se structurent pour mieux se développer

L’engouement des consommateurs pour les associations pour le maintien de l’agriculture paysanne (AMAP) ne se dément pas. Mais l’offre a du mal à suivre. Un mouvement national devrait se structurer pour faciliter la naissance de nouveaux projets.

Aujourd’hui, près de 1.500 groupes AMAP (associations pour le maintien d’une agriculture paysanne) existeraient sur l’ensemble du territoire, de nombreux autres projets seraient en cours. Ce système de partenariat entre producteurs et consommateurs suscite de plus en plus d’intérêt depuis le lancement de la première initiative de ce type en avril 2001 à Aubagne.

Circuits courts, relation directe entre producteurs et consommateurs, solidarité financière, respect de l’environnement… sont autant d’arguments qui séduisent les quelques 60.000 familles de consommateurs engagées dans une telle démarche.

”Les AMAP représentent un véritable mouvement de fond, elles correspondent à des aspirations profondes des consommateurs”, analyse Jérôme Dehondt, responsable légal et porte-parole du mouvement interrégional des AMAP (MIRAMAP). Cependant, dans de nombreuses régions, ces associations ont des difficultés à se développer. Si en PACA (140 groupes), Rhône-Alpes (132 groupes), Ile-de-France (120 groupes) les initiatives sont nombreuses, la Picardie (3 AMAP), le Languedoc-Roussillon (3 AMAP), la Champagne-Ardenne (1 AMAP)… ont davantage de mal à faire émerger ce type de dispositif.

Une offre qui ne suit pas la demande

Le développement des AMAP se heurte à de nombreux freins. De nombreux groupes en projet sont actuellement à la recherche d’un producteur paysan ou bio.

Premier frein : la pénurie de producteurs bio en France. ”En Ile-de-France par exemple, 150 groupes sont en fonctionnement aujourd’hui pour 35 maraîchers bio. Seulement 30 personnes sont formées chaque année au maraîchage bio dans la région, ce qui est très en deçà des besoins. Il y a un véritable problème de ressources humaines. Les AMAP et l’agriculture bio reposent surtout sur les nouveaux entrants, la conversion bio étant très compliquée. La population agricole française est assez âgée, 46 % des agriculteurs seront partis à la retraite d’ici 2020. Le pas n’est pas évident à franchir pour eux de la production conventionnelle à la production bio”.

Deuxième frein : l’accès au foncier : ”de nombreux porteurs de projets ont du mal à accéder aux terres agricoles. A cause de la pression foncière, les terres sont chères, peu disponibles… Les organisations foncières telles que la SAFER privilégient l’extension d’installations existantes”.

Les banques seraient également frileuses : ”elles ont du mal à prêter à des systèmes qu’elles connaissent encore mal”. Pourtant, ces dispositifs sont viables économiquement. En 2009, le chiffre d’affaires de 1.200 AMAP s’élevait à 36 M d’euros.

Les AMAP, de véritables initiatives locales

”La première des solutions est de soutenir les producteurs qui souhaitent se convertir ou s’installer. Les AMAP constituent un excellent moyen de soutien financier des projets, d’assurance pour le banquier ou le producteur lui-même”.

Les AMAP développent également des solutions originales pour développer l’offre. En Ile-de-France, elles ont créé une ferme couveuse pour soutenir les personnes à la sortie de leur formation sur une période de un à trois ans. ”Les 10 ha de la ferme accueillent aujourd’hui 3 jeunes maraîchers bio mais pourraient également soutenir un éleveur, un artisan boulanger…”.

Autre initiative : la SCI Terres Fertiles a fait appel aux consommateurs pour acquérir 20 ha de terres agricoles menacées par l’urbanisation sur le plateau de Saclay. Une AMAP y a été installée. La Foncière Terre de liens, outil d’investissement solidaire qui existe depuis décembre 2006, acquiert également, via la collecte de l’épargne citoyenne, des terres pour installer ou maintenir des porteurs de projets agri-ruraux.

”Mais ces initiatives ne peuvent pas répondre à elles seules aux enjeux de l’agriculture biologique. Cela doit être relayé à un autre niveau. Le fait de se structurer à l’échelle régionale, puis nationale, permet de mettre en place des dispositifs de soutien, de mutualiser les outils, de partager les expériences”. Après les alliances régionales, les AMAP envisagent de s’organiser au niveau national. Les premières rencontres nationales se dérouleront les 5 et 6 décembre dans la Drôme.

Aujourd’hui le développement des AMAP est peu soutenu par la sphère publique, mis à part par certains Conseils régionaux qui appuient leur création via une aide au financement ou des politiques de préservation des terres agricoles (Midi-Pyrénées, PACA, Rhône-Alpes…). Pourtant, elles constituent de véritables réponses aux enjeux actuels : ”le Grenelle de l’environnement contient une grosse lacune. Il accentue la pression sur la demande bio en fixant des objectifs très ambitieux notamment au niveau de la restauration collective sans donner les moyens de développer l’offre. Cela risque d’augmenter les importations, ce qui n’est pas le but.”

We all blocked Hannah Montana on our tv when she had the picture of her bare back in vanity fair, but we have no problem with our tweens and teens going and seeing new moon with taylor lautner running around the whole time with no shirt. Through the experience, he has sharpened core leadership, business development, management and strategic planning skills as a CEO to grow the company. He thrives on innovation and pushes his strategic thinking, auditing, marketing, organizational development and management skills daily to provide clients with cost saving results and best in class consulting services.  Recently, the BDM team provided solutions for their utility, oil & gas, manufacturing, and technology clients to lean their supply chain strategies and reduce costs. BDM has directly saved large utility clients over:

• $0.5M with a vendor managed inventory solution
• $1.7M through a commodity source strategy
• $2.0M with a surplus/obsolete inventory solution

In his Director role, he has set clear vision and built strategic alliances with key business and technology partners. These alliances have resulted in new product offerings and international business opportunities in Scotland, China, Romania and across the US.  Damon recently joined the Greater Phoenix Economic Business Council (GPEC) and is actively participating in renewable energy business development strategies.  He is also a member of the GPEC International Leadership team.

Damon earned an MBA with an international business focus from Arizona State University. In addition to his current role, he cultivated this focus with practical experience from two Intel international expatriate assignments and integrates this experience into optimizing his client’s business operations. He spent the last 10 years developing his global management skills as an expat in South East Asia. In this capacity he negotiated global contracts and managed inventory procurement for one of Intel’s start up factories. While on assignment, he took on a role as a Risk and Controls Manager mitigating excessive cost risk, business interruption risk, and corporate fraud. A key career highlight of Damon’s was the creation of a new Global Risk Management Organization for Intel’s largest division, the Technology Manufacturing Group. He managed a global team of Risk and Controls Managers in 14 countries. This organization was able to reduced overall risk exposure to Intel Corporation by $300M over a three year period.

Professionally, Damon is driven to help develop leaders’ ability to better utilize a company’s most important asset — it’s people.  Personally, Damon is an adventurous hiker having hiked to Everest Base Camp in Nepal, the Inca Trail in Peru and the Grand Canyon in Arizona. He enjoys scuba diving, fitness training, and international travel. Damon, his wife and 4 children enjoy spending time together at the beach, mountain biking and traveling together.
