<p style="text-align:justify;">L’hiver au Québec est difficile, et cela n’est un secret pour personne.<br />
Nous devons non seulement nous adapter aux journées qui raccourcissent et donc au manque de soleil, mais aussi à la neige et au froid. Notre peau doit elle aussi s’adapter à ce choc saisonnier : avec le chauffage qui assèche la peau et l’alternance du chaud et du froid, l’état de notre peau peut rapidement empirer si nous ne savons pas comment en prendre soin.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Il est d’abord important de bien connaître son type de peau pour pouvoir lui appliquer les bons soins. Pour cela, je vous suggère fortement de passer à votre pharmacie la plus proche pour demander une analyse de peau. Une fois fixée, vous pourrez ajuster vos soins en conséquences.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Une erreur courante est de penser que notre peau s’assèche pendant l’hiver, alors qu’en fait, elle se déshydrate. Les peaux normalement sèches deviennent peut-être très sèches, mais les peaux mixtes ou grasses ne deviendront jamais sèches, et ce, même l’hiver : elles deviennent plutôt déshydratées.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Les peaux sèches sont caractérisées par leurs pores de peau invisibles et par des plaques de petites peaux qui se décollent de l’épiderme : elles manquent de lipides. Elles nécessitent des crèmes à texture riche qui viendront nourrir leur peau. Pour l’hiver, une crème agissant comme une barrière protectrice leur est nécessaire, comme la crème Hydra S.O.S de Lise Watier, conçue et testée spécialement pour les températures extrêmes du Canada.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify;">On peut reconnaître les peaux déshydratées par de petites stries, ou par des picotements et brûlures ressenties aux changements de température. Pour celles-ci, je recommande fortement l’application d’un sérum hydratant comme l’Aquasource de Biotherm, qui viendra abreuver la peau et donc la calmer. Le sérum doit être appliqué après le tonique et avant la crème hydratante.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify;">Dans tous les cas, je vous suggère de vous appliquer un masque hydratant comme le baume Aqualia thermal de Vichy, que l’on applique en couche épaisse et que l’on laisse reposer 10 minutes une fois par semaine après avoir nettoyé et exfolié votre peau.  Quand les journées sont particulièrement froides, vous pouvez aussi appliquer ce baume en une couche mince sur votre peau à la place de votre crème de jour, pour protéger votre peau contre le froid mordant.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify;">Le corps et les mains ne doivent pas être délaissés! Traînez toujours avec vous un baume à lèvres et une crème à main. Plusieurs compagnies font même des ensembles baume &#38; crème à petits prix, comme celui de Roc. Pour ce qui est de la crème pour le corps, il est préférable de l’appliquer au sortir du bain. Des baumes sont aussi disponibles, qui ont une texture plus onctueuse pour les peaux plus sèches.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify;">N’oubliez pas votre protection solaire les journées de sport d’hiver, ou les journées où le soleil se reflète particulièrement sur la neige. La crème solaire est le meilleur anti-âge qui soit et&#8230;vaut mieux prévenir que guérir!</p>

Une pièce remplie de maquillages, de produits capillaires et de parfums&#8230; à mini prix! Seul bémol? Il faut absolument une invitation pour pouvoir entrer, et les invitations ne sont pas toujours faciles à trouver. J&#8217;étais donc plus qu&#8217;heureuse quand ma maman m&#8217;en a déniché une, je me suis empressée d&#8217;inviter BFF pour un après-midi totalement girly.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Des mascaras à moins de 5$, des gloss à 1,50$, des vernis au même prix, du Lancôme, Maybelline, Pureology, Biotherm et j&#8217;en passe, j&#8217;étais comblée!</p>

<h4>L&#8217;articolo de Il Salvagente: “Rughe d&#8217;espressione”</h4>
<p>A meno che non vi siate abbeverati alla fonte dell&#8217;eterna giovinezza, il tempo trascorre e lascia i suoi segni. Dentro, ma anche fuori. La pelle invecchia, compaiono le prime rughe, che simpaticamente vengono chiamate “d&#8217;espressione”, ma che si fanno via via più profonde e antiestetiche, soprattutto per chi rifiuta di non avere più vent&#8217;anni e pagherebbe oro per tornare al viso pulito e levigato che si ha a quell&#8217;età.</p>
<h4>Uomini o donne non fa differenza</h4>
<p>E che si tratti di uomini o donne, oramai anche sotto questo aspetto non c&#8217;è grande differenza, si va alla continua ricerca dell&#8217;elisir magico in grado di restituire loro la bellezza di un tempo. Per aiutarle nel tentativo di vedere riflesso allo specchio un volto senza rughe, la ricerca le ha pensate tutte: botulino, iniezioni di acido ialuronico fino al lifting e alla chirurgia estetica. Mezzi più o meno invasivi che ridonano tono e elasticità alla pelle, ma che sono anche rischiosi e non sempre totalmente efficaci.</p>
<h4>La dermatologa: “È tutto scritto nel Dna”</h4>
<p>“Partiamo dal presupposto che l&#8217;invecchiamento della pelle è scritto nel nostro dna” spiega la dottoressa Pucci Romano, vicepresidente dell&#8217;Associazione internazionale di ecodermatologia Skineco. “Il patrimonio genetico è il solo responsabile del sorgere delle rughe. In altre parole, basta guardare in viso i nostri genitori per capire come si diventerà. È anche vero che esistono dei principi attivi quali l&#8217;acido glicolico, l&#8217;acido salicilico che stimolano il ricambio cellulare, ma non fanno miracoli”.</p>
<h4>Promozione a metà per le creme</h4>
<p>Una promozione a metà, dunque, per le creme antietà: un mercato fiorente sempre all&#8217;avanguardia e sempre più redditizio, dal momento che le confezioni da 50 ml per pelli mature sono tutt&#8217;altro che economiche e arrivano a sfiorare i  100 euro.</p>
<h4>Fate attenzione agli ingredienti in etichetta</h4>
<p>Tuttavia, nonostante si possa chiudere un occhio sul prezzo pur di godere di un prodotto “miracoloso”, meglio fare sempre attenzione agli ingredienti in etichetta: sostanze non sempre innocue si possono trovare nelle composizione della crema, nocive non solo per la pelle, ma anche per l&#8217;organismo e per l&#8217;ambiente.</p>
<h4>I nove prodotti antirughe testati</h4>
<p>Il Salvagente nel numero in edicola ha testato alcuni prodotti antirughe, fra i quali abbiamo selezionato nove creme in commercio in Italia, molto utilizzate dalle consumatrici nostrane. Con risultati non sono affatto incoraggianti.  Soltanto due marchi, infatti, si aggiudicano il voto ottimo: Dr. Hauschka crema rigenerante della Wala e Nivea Visage Vital tripla azione antietà della Beiersdorf. Quest&#8217;ultima unisce all&#8217;assenza di sostanze pericolose, un prezzo davvero vantaggioso: 15,89 euro contro i 51,90 euro dell&#8217;antietà di Dr. Hauschka.</p>
<h4>Una disfatta per molti prodotti</h4>
<p>Una vera disfatta per i restanti prodotti che oscillano tutti fra un voto mediocre e un voto scarso, per il contenuto di ingredienti sospetti di provocare allergie o reazioni anche più gravi a contatto con la pelle. L&#8217;elenco di sostanze irritanti contenuto in grandi e famosi flaconcini (Biotherm, L&#8217;Orèal, Olaz, Vichy, Lierac, Eucerin, Marbert) è lungo e fa accapponare la pelle: muschi policiclici, una sorta di profumi sintetici accusati di provocare reazioni endocrine in pesci e mammiferi, peg, emulsionanti che rendono la pelle più permeabile anche alle eventuali sostanze tossiche presenti nella miscela. E poi composti alogenorganici, conservanti allergenici, perfino cessori di formaldeide, conservanti fortemente indiziati in caso di irritazioni, dermatiti e allergie.</p>
<h4>Mosse intelligenti che si possono fare</h4>
<p>Ma se la cura delle rughe può risultare difficile e perfino pericolosa, la prevenzione è un&#8217;operazione a cui dedicare molta attenzione. Spiega ancora la dottoressa Pucci Romano: “ Nonostante l&#8217;invecchiamento cellulare sia un processo naturale, esistono delle mosse intelligenti che possono aiutarci a mantenere più elastica e più idratata la pelle. Prima di tutto conoscere la propria epidermide aiuta a capire quali sono i prodotti più giusti. Importantissimo, poi, sapere quale è il proprio fototipo: l&#8217;esposizione solare è la maggiore responsabile della formazione delle rughe. Per questo motivo il sole va preso con cautela e sul viso va sempre applicata una crema a schermo totale in modo che la pelle, molto delicata, risulti sempre protetta. Infine una detersione costante e con prodotti non aggressivi è il terzo step da non trascurare”.</p>

<p><strong>1907</strong><br />
• Schueller, a young French chemist, creates the first synthetic hair dye, named &#8220;Black and Gold&#8221;, a brand name never used. “L’Aureale”, a name inspired by a hairstyle in fashion at the time called “L’Aureole” from the Latin aureola, golden crown and by extension a luminous and colored halo. A few months later the name was simplified to “L&#8217;Oréal” which interestingly has its roots from the Greek “Orea” which means beauty.</p>
<p><strong>1908</strong><br />
•With just 120 Euros in his pocket, Eugène Schueller registered his company “The Societe Francaise de Teintures Inoffensives pour Cheveux”. He established the company in a two-bedroom apartment in rue d’Alger – the dining room was used as the demonstration room and the bedroom as the laboratory.Eugène Schueller did everything himself – he manufactured his products during the night, then sold them to Parisian hairdressers during the morning and delivered them in the afternoon.</p>

•Eugène Schueller gained the backing of an accountant from Epernay who loaned him 4000 Euros. This enabled Eugène Schueller to think on a larger scale &#8211; he moved the company which he renamed “L&#8217;Oréal” to a four bedroom apartment in the rue du Louvre, he recruited his first employee and he began to advertise his products via a trade journal “La Coiffure de Paris”.<br />

1910</strong><br />
•Eugène Schueller soon began to export his products abroad – from 1910 L&#8217;Oréal products were sold in Austria and Italy – by 1914 an additional six markets had been added; Hungary, Germany, Belgium, Holland, Switzerland and Russia and by the 1920s sales had been extended to the Americas, Russia and the Far East.</p>

•During the twenties, fashion changed. Women started getting their hair cut. A short style required shape and, more importantly, color. L’Oréal responded to this need by creating Imédia Liquide.</p>
<p><strong>1934</strong><br />
•Eugène Schueller recognized a huge potential for hygiene and toiletry products for the body and hair. He took over Monsavon and in 1934 launched Dop, the first mass-market shampoo without soap (which left traces on the hair). It became L’Oréal’s philosophy to make technological products available to the largest number of people.</p>
