When i first heard of this artist, I saw him linked to an article saying that children don’t need to go to school, and that they should slang on the streets.

I personally not a huge fan of 50 Cent, or G-Unit.  I think that these beefs are just childish. I almost wish these men would just go somewhere. I almost feel like these men from the hood are looking for sympathy for the way they grew up. They don’t want anything out of life expect for woman, money, and drugs. I personally don’t need to listen to bitter musicians about thier troubles when i have my own issues in life. I guess I never understood “Gangsta Rap” because although I’m am from where i gre w up, I’m all about uplifting my community so that the children who roam the streets have a chance to live a good life just like the “other children” on the other side of the city.

These men talk about discipline as if the streets are everything and the end all and be all. These men in my eyes are punks, waling around talking about fighting, and wanting respect as if they are somebody important. 50 Cent hasn’t released shit for his other artist that i can see, no features or anything.  I guess when the checks come you feel the need to bow down to whoever is paying your paycheck, but like I said before, and will always say is that something about 50 Cent rubs me the wrong way.  Of course he is constantly picking fights with those who are out there minding their business, and after the shit with Jay, I was through. Beanie willing to play childish games with 50 because Jay refused to cater to his simple ass ways. Letting her private matters get in the way of his job, which is to make music…good music none the less, but nothing turns me off more then a man who feels the need to act like a damn “cry baby” when it comes to life’s issues.

With the release of Too Hood 2 Be Holloywood at the top of December, there was a lot of change occurring in the life of New Orleans rapper B.G.  Not only was he finally able to release his eleventh studio album, he was also able to cut ties with those that were holding him back.

According to the rapper, not only did December 8 mark the drop of his album, it also marked the day that he would receive his freedom papers and should now be a free agent to continue his rap career with whatever label he chooses.

HipHopWired was able to catch up with the rapper prior to the release of Too Hood 2 Be Hollywood and the rapper was able to deliver the news of the true celebration after the release and who he has his eye set on.

“I’m gonna be a free agent.  I’m gonna sit down with the people that closest to me like my manager and lawyers and see what’s the best route to do.”

B.G. took some time out to provide some clarity to his situation with T.I.’s involvement with his latest album and what led to the demise of his career on Grand Hustle Records. 

“No, all that’s over with.  He was the executive producer of the project with me when it was on Atlantic.  After the situation with him and the Hip Hop Awards, they kind of froze up on me, kept pushing the album back.  This was pre-recession.  Once I felt like they were playing with me, I stopped calling, got back doing what I was doing, creating another opportunity.”

With the talk of a Hot Boys reunion and album, some would speculate that the rapper might find a nesting ground at his own home and align himself with Baby and Cash Money once again.

“If the numbers right, if it makes sense.”

Whatever road the rapper chooses to walk down and whoever decides to do business, B.G.’s track records shows a man that will truly be an asset to whatever team will allow him to play.

Wayne has become legendary in the game no matter your thoughts of him. The Louisiana born Cash Money Exec has become an element that the hip hop game has either despised or adored. Although details are still developing, according to the Texas border patrol, Lil Wayne has been detained at an interior border checkpoint. The incident is rumored to be drug related as Wayne and 11 other members who were on the tour bus are being held in Falfurrias, Texas. The southern Texas city which is about 100 miles from the boarder of Mexico, uses its B.P checkpoint for most people passing.

Officials have claimed that the bus was stopped and pulled to the side when K9 dogs started picking up a scent from the tour bus. Both buses were searched where they found marijuana in each bus. Although no further details about the incident have come out, according to the venue owner at the Laredo Entertainment Center in Laredo, TX, the Young Money concert has been canceled because Wayne and his entourage did not show up and could not be reached.

This is obviously not the first time we have heard Wayne’s name in the news lately. Earlier this year, Wayne was arrested on a gun charge and will face a year of jail time starting in February 2010. Wayne has also had a bad track record for marijuana possession, which would not be a good thing for him with another seeming to be in process.
