Playing with my Little Fee Ante, Marie has it’s downsides apparently. I had kind of forgotten how much I really love Little Fees, playing with Marie reminded me of just how much fun they are to handle. Playing with her, really made me realize that I would really fancy another one in addition to Marie eventually. I was not intending to get Marie a friend immediately and was just kind of looking at Denver Doll trying to choose who (very hard as I like a lot of the releases) would eventually be joining my bjd family. My shortlist was Ante Elf! and Bisou (girl), I already have a first edition Ante but I really love her so I can justify wanting an Ante Elf! in addition to my normal release Ante. I noticed a note on denver doll next to Bisou (girl) stating that only a few more of the full sets were available to preorder. Of course this moved her to the top of my wanted list as I panicked at the prospect of not being able to get her.

There is only one thing to do when I go into doll panic mode, and that is to acquire doll like yesterday. I hastily set up a layaway plan on Denver Doll for her. I would have preferred to pay her off in one payment but Christmas is around the corner and zilla is going to get spoiled. This also means I am in the process of paying off two bjds at the same time through denver doll as I put a down payment on a Fairyland Puki PongPong (I think I neglected to mention her here) last month to finish off my Power Puff Girls Puki trio.

It wasn’t meant to happen like this. I really thought I had it all planned. 

I thought that, when Piaf started having bad dreams, I would be able to say exactly what was needed to calm her down, perhaps even raise a smile, and get her back to bed feeling happy and safe and loved.

How was I to know that they would start before she was speaking properly? I thought I had another six months to hone my perfect papa routine. 

Half past five this morning. To make it worse, I had an unusual attack of conscience. Instead of going back to sleep (which I find shamefully easy) I encouraged maman to bring Piaf into our bed, just until she calmed down, just for long enough to prepare the milk she was literally crying out for. 

I think the conscience was sparked by the fact that, whatever Piaf said, this was clearly not just about milk. Something had scared her and she was unable to express it, meaning in turn that maman and I were unable to rationalise it for her. The milk was a symptom, not a cause.

Like I say, I really thought I had it all planned.

To make it worse, work has been very intense for both of us recently. Definitely in my own case I have been “burning the candle at both ends” (as my mother would say) and, indirectly, “chasing the pound note” (as my friends at the After School Club would say.) I really am not in a fit state to be waking up at 5.30 a.m. for my own nightmares, let alone someone else’s. 

And so, at 5.35 a.m., Piaf made her entrance. She was sleepy but not ready to sleep. Her vulnerability made her seem even smaller than usual. She smelt of Ovaltine. She sucked at the teat of her bottle like her father used to suck on cans of Stella Artois, that irrational hunger for a liquid that seems to belong more in a war film than in suburbia.

The twin magics of her parents’ closeness and a third of a pint of full-fat soon had her calm. A certain amount of crooning took place.

 I held her close, selfishly, before her maman got to her, and made the most of it, knowing that if she got too comfy she would decide it was playtime and wriggle away from both of us. 

“Calme-toi,” I cajoled. And she did.

“Fais-moi un câlin,” I whispered. And she did.

“Fais-moi un bisou,” I entreated. And she did. 

“Fais dodo,” I risked, ever aware that, however precious and lovely and rare this moment was, both maman and I were shattered and a chain reaction of alarms, like vindictive aural dominoes, would soon be doing their worst.

And, blow me, she did. For a few minutes there, nightmare forgotten, she let her guard down and allowed herself to drop off in the company of the two people who love her more than anything. 

At least, I think she did. I mean, I know I did. I assume she followed suit.

That’s the trouble with conscience. It never lasts.

Fairyland announced about half a dozen new little fees including a new version of Ante and the super adorable Bisou. Little Fees are the perfect sized resin bjd for me and I really love my 1st edition Ante but none of the other releases until now really lived up to her in my opinion. Now I find myself torn between the two of them.. Ante!elf on the left and Bisou on the right.

I plan on asking for one of them for Christmas, but I am torn between the two of them. I love both of their face ups so it is a hard choice. Ante!elf is gorgeous, I utterly adore my 1st edition Ante but I fear she may be too similiar in a way. I love her stock outfit but I am not sure how useable it really will be and her wig worries me a bit (looks high maintenance). Bisou is more casual which is kind of a double edged sword, you seem to get less for the price but the outfit is adorable and I have a weakness for hoodies. I am not sure how well Bisou would match Marie but at the same time she might offer more versatility. I am sure whoever I choose will make me happy but since I can only get one for Christmas I hope I choose the one that represents my greatest chance for happiness.

Pendant que Michael Jackson était en train de mourir, Coolio se faisait caresser le pénis par la gentille top model italienne Rosy Dilettuso lors d’une soirée mondaine, bien au chaud dans son costume en soie de pimp. Y en a qui vivent bien quand même.

Pendant que Michael Jackson était en train de mourir, Rihanna et Pharrell se faisaient des câlins tout doux devant leurs attachés de presse. Ils devaient se dire qu’avec toute l’agitation qui règne autour de MJ, personne ne les remarquerait derrière les fougères. Même pas Drake, le supposé nouveau boyfriend de Riri.

Pendant que Michael Jackson était en train de mourir, Lady Gaga était en concert, en train de clamer au public en délire qu’elle a aussi le feu ailleurs qu’au cul. En effet, selon son staff technique présent en backstage, ses sourcils ont brûlé au troisième degré à ce moment du show, aussi rapidement que de la paille séchée.

Pendant que Michael Jackson était en train de mourir, Booboo, le tigre qui posait avec lui sur la pochette de Thriller, refaisait sa vie avec Hanz, un gardien de zoo allemand. Le tigre avait quitté MJ après que celui ci l’ait forcé à se faire blanchir le pelage, afin de se faire passer pour un panda coréen. Encore une histoire bien triste.

Pendant que le vrai Michael Jackson était en train de mourir, un sosie prétendait être le King of Pop dans le but de se faire offrir un menu maxi Best Of So Grilled au McDo. Subterfuge pendu possible parce que le fast food en question se trouvait en Iran et que les médias ne parlait que de Farrah Fawcett, la diablesse blanche qui rejoignait le sheitan pour lever une armée d’espionnes américaines.

Pendant que Michael Jackson était en train de mourir, enfin quelques heures plus tôt, la jeune chanteuse Teairra Mari (signée chez Roc A Fella) posait pour un shoot photo sur le thème de Thriller. FAIL.

Pendant que Michael Jackson était en train de mourir, Ciara était concentrée sur son créneau pour éviter d’écraser un photographe. Et bizarrement, pendant un instant, tout le monde se foutait que MJ soit à l’agonie. On bénissait simplement l’association débardeur fin + climatisation.

Et enfin, une fois que la mort de Michael Jackson a été confirmée, Barack Obama a allumé une cigarette en sa mémoire (et versé de la bière par terre aussi mais j’ai pas la photo). Surement parce qu’il se sentait juste roulé de ne pas l’avoir invité à temps à la Maison Blanche.

____Je me souviens d’une après-midi où j’étais le plus riche des hommes. Je possédais des fraises et bientôt, toute sa tendresse.

____C’était dans une toute petite pièce blanche ; elle s’était approchée. Les fraises donnaient des éclats violets à son regard. Il tremblait dans ses yeux avides les lueurs d’une convoitise ; sa bouche, pleine d’un grand vide, guettait la moindre gourmandise. Elle s’était approchée. Les prunelles frémissantes, la lèvre tremblante, elle s’était approchée. Ô comment résister à ces agates bleues qui vous supplient comme le chant des chats sous la pluie ? Comment ? Elles se briseraient si je refusais …
____Mais les vapeurs fraisées m’étourdissaient également. Ma langue pétillait déjà, plus rouge du sang que le rêve attirait.  Et j’ai croqué une fraise et elle s’est approchée. Elle s’est approchée, encore, toujours plus. Son odeur enrobait les vapeurs fraisées ; c’était un nouveau fruit. Plus fruité, plus sucré encore ! Il était rouge aussi, mais comme une grenade. Ça sentait le rêve. Et elle s’est approchée, une dernière fois. J’étais perdu, étourdi. Elle s’est penchée. La petite pièce blanche est devenue paradis.

____Elle m’avait embrassé.

____Je parle des vrais bisous ! Pas des joues qui se frottent. Elle avait posé ses lèvres contre ma joue, et dans le bruit indescriptible des lèvres qui se plissent et puis s’en retournent, dans ce bruit qui manque aux baisers continus des poissons, dans ce bruit, mes neurones ont explosé. Elle a recommencé, un autre baiser, à gauche. Puis à droite, encore une fois. Ma tête fondait comme sous le joug de l’alcool. J’étais sa proie, elle avait le don de la séduction. Alors, vaincu, comblé, je lui ai offert mes fraises.

____Un jour, j’aurai des fraises dans mes yeux. Et elle me sucrera, elle me croquera ! Mes joues colleront de larmes sucrées. Alors, quand elle voudra d’une caresse apaiser tout le flot de mes tristesses, sa main restera contre ma joue. Et je pleurerai, encore et encore, pour que jamais elle ne me quitte.

I made this using GIMP and im quite proud!

Well i was wondering this morning that my blog is called “Lel1996’s Stardoll blog”. Right? My Fave Dress:

I Love this dress. Im sure Natalie Portman wore this dress, Inspired by Lanvin ruffles. I saw this dress on LOOK magazine! It got everything i love- Purple and Ruffles!!

My All-time Fave piece of clothing:

Definatly The Fallen Angel Ruffle Skirt (Its all ruffles!!). Ive deffo included this skirt in tons of outfits, I dont know what i like about it- i just think its pretty lol! The skirt comes from the Uma Thurman doll.

My Fave outfit/s:

These Album shots were from long ago when i was a collector. Bad times yet i loved the scuba, ruffle skirt.

My Fave Shop/s:

Loved Antidote. I hope a new collection comes out soon. I only got one thing as at the time i wanted to save my money + i didnt think it would be that popular so i would have time. I deeply regret that

I’ve always loved Bisou. mostly on all my videos i use something from this shop. I dont know what it is but its diffinalty my type of style in the real world.

DKNY has always been a fave for me. Its not because their “rare” but its something different i guess. Even though its a bit expensive.

My Voile Cheat post is what got me on the map i guess. I posted it without knowing it would be such a massive hit. Even WordPress advertised it for me!! The post is still really going strong and i get about 30-40 odd views on the post everyday!! If i had 2 faves i would add my verdicts in. I always put extra effort in them + new people everyday are looking at them- the most popular one is Prt 1, i wondering if i should do another one but ive mostly talked about everything that annoys me!!
