どうしても触れたくない had me joining community and had me near to ordering the manga online (thought to wait since I’ll be in K-books in 2 months). I adored the story, the characters and the angst, and am looking forward but also dreading to listen to the drama CD. Very excited and satisfied that Shima is being voiced by Nojiken, Ishikawa Hideo-san should be fine as Togawa… but I don’t think my heart’s yet prepared for the heavy angst Nojiken will be sounding out of my earphones.
Doushitemo & her other works had lured me to her story-telling and art, but the real clincher would be her doujinshi sequel to Doushitemo with the side character Onoda and Deguchi …I lament that they didn’t have someone else younger voice Onoda (but you’re still my 帝王, 森川さん… .

Yoneda-sensei’s work doesn’t rely on dramatic language or ostentatious aesthetics. Her dialogues like her art is deceptively simple. But with her masterful execution of view angles and exceptional paneling, she takes your breath away and has you unconsciously riding a whirlwind of emotions.
Yoneda-sensei’s works will definitely be proudly occupying my bookshelves very soon.

BL Drama: summary/translation

This time working on BL drama CD entitled:

“Koto no Ha no Hana”

Cast:
Ono Daisuke [Hasebe Shuichi] x Kamiya Hiroshi [Yomura Kazuaki]

A beautiful story of a man (Yomura) who is able to hear what’s inside people’s hearts. Originally he didn’t have the ability but 3 years ago, an incident with his ex-fiancee caused him to be able to hear what people are really thinking. He’s lost trust in people and closed himself off until one day, he *hears* the besotted voice of a younger co-worker (Hasebe). The young man, with a low sullen voice repeatedly calls out his name. Hard working but quiet and seen by other as unsociable, Yomura is intrigued as to why Hasebe likes him.

It’s a story of lost trust and a pure love that teaches how to believe in others again.

And that was one terrible summary from me. Again, hopefully I won’t be losing interest in this new project that I’m part summarizing/translating.
