Olivia Holt looked stunning in a flattering, black Keepsake dress and heels and complimented her red carpet attire with a posh and sleek looking pony-tail! Olivia Holt always exudes classiness everywhere she goes! Olivia Holt attended the event with her dad!

Olivia Holt shared this wonderful picture of herself and her father through her Instagram account and wrote, “My super hero daddy.” So sweet! What a lovely father-daughter picture!

Yes, clothing has the ability to give you all those things (a good mood, happiness and confidence) but it can take it away as well, if we let it. Let your clothes know who is boss! Rise up, seize them by their itchy annoying tags, and shout, “I am your owner. Fear and Respect me!” And if they don’t cooperate, ehh they are just cardigans and corduroys in your drawers and you can leave them anytime you want.

Basically, clothing isn’t everything. Don’t become a slave to them. Yes, I have fun putting together outfits every morning, but I won’t let it become an idol. I don’t let them have that kind of power over me and you shouldn’t either.

What inspired all of these thoughts was looking at this outfit and thinking, “Man, I have hips.” This sweater doesn’t work for me and it may be time for me to realize that and give it up. I’ve had it for years and every time I wear it I feel uncomfortable about the way it makes me look. Pockets on my hips (when you have hips) can add interest or it can look awkward and bulky. Either way this outfit was comfortable and I made it through the day. But, it may be the last time this sweater makes an appearance.

hows everyone doing?? i am so happy that a lot of u have given such a good feedback to my blog even though I’m just 3 posts old!!! i think its human nature to feel when we know someones listening… and that we are not alone!! so thanks… trust me, its so very exciting for me to see that notification sign on!! kinda makes my day!!

Well.. so today, i thought i wil share with u all a project that i did a few months back for my portfolio… the idea was to take one black dress!!! and style it differently for 4 different personalities… the project features me, my sister and my 2 nieces!! (can anyone of u guess which ones my elder sister :d )

Here is a picture of her with husband Justin Timberlake (whose locks actually look terrible) at the Time magazine 100 Gala in New York last night.

I love her dress, shoes and make-up. Her hair is really pretty and she looks happy. I think this is the best she has looked in absolutely ages.

I was really hating her hair and style lately – far too frumpy.

A lot of people have been comparing her ‘makeover’ to her former Total Recall co-star Kate Beckinsale. I definitely see a resemblance but then again they both are stunning brunettes.

What do you have planned for the nicer weather?

What trends are trending? Clothes?!?! What are you going to wear this spring/ summer?

I never know what to wear and always fall back on my black t-shirt dress with a cardi and flats. It’s my security blanket. But this year I have decided to take risks and experiment. I am lurking pintrest and other sites trying to find styles that I like and incorporate in with things I own and things I am comfortable wearing.

In contrast to my last entry, here’s a dress with attitude that I stumbled on. This studded dress has many appealing features! I am particularly fond of the high neckline and low back combination. Makes this affordable dress a winner in my book!

I am a huge fan of sexy side splits, however as most women out there I am not the biggest fan of my thighs so the thought of a high leg split can be quite daunting. Luckily however I have finally found a happy medium with a low leg split. This is a summer essential in my eyes and I will not hesitate to purchase this gorgeous dress. Although I prefer shooting with natural light, cuz I think that the effect and even the quality of the pics are better with this one, on Friday one miracle happened: I got ready ahead of time, this is so rare, I am always the late one in everything hahah Adding this to the fact that I was so excited, I couldn’t avoid using the time left to make a photoshoot, more over took the the opportunity that I had someone to take them for me.
I  actually had this outfit in mind for days, I created it when I was here at home in one of those criative moments, that I started to take clothes of my closes I think of some matchings to do and when I found out that there was going to have a college party in a hotel, I thought it was the best occasion to wear it.
It is a skirt and a top, that have a similiar fabric, differenciated by the little sparkle stripes that the skirt has, if you look from a long distance, it even looks like a ruffled dress. Over it, to keep me war, cuz this days have been so cold at night, I put a gray leather jacket, that in addition to the ankle boot, give a heavier touch to everything.
About the party? I had a blast, me and my friends had a lot of fun, danced a so much, so much, that the jacket came useless after five minutes. It was one of those really good nights in which the hour flies and you don’t even see. I arrived home in time to see the sun shinning ( yeep I arrived really early hahah), couldn’t avoid taking pictures of this moment from my window, it was an amazing one!

Apesar de eu preferir tirar fotos com a luz natural,porque eu  acho que efeito e até a qualidade delas ficam melhores, na sexta um milagre aconteceu: eu consegui ficar pronta antes do horário, isso é tão raro, eu sou sempre a atrasada em tudo hahah E adicionando isso ao fato de que eu estava tão animada, não pude deixar de usar o tempinho que eu tinha de sobra pra fazer uma sessão de fotos, além de aproveitar a oportunidade de que tinha alguém para tirá-las pra mim.
Esse look na verdade eu já tinha em mente há dias, o criei quando eu estava aqui em casa em um daqueles momentos criativos, que comecei a tirar roupas do armário e pensar em combinações a  fazer e quando eu descobri que ia ter uma festa da minha faculdade em hotel, achei que não tinha ocasião melhor para usá-lo.
Ele é uma saia e uma blusinha que tem um tecido bem parecido, exceto pelas listrinhas fininhas de brilho que tem na saia,se você olhar de longe parece até que é um vestidinho com várias camadas.Por cima  pra me manter quentinha, porque esses  dias à noite tem feito muito frio, coloquei uma jaqueta de couro cinza ,que somando à ankle boot, dão um toque mais pesado ao visual.
Sobre a festa? Aproveitei demais, eu e meus amigos nos divertimos muito, dançamos pra caramba , tanto que a jaqueta se tornou inútil depois de 5 minutos. Foii uma daquelas noites muito boas que a hora voa e você nem vê.Cheguei em casa  à tempo de ver o nascer do sol ( siim cheguei bem cedo hahaha), não pude evitar de tirar fotos desse momente,é um tão lindo!

Spending the day in Sarasota!

Maybe its the beautiful spring weather or the color dominated runway, but I’ve been obsessed with mixed colors lately. It’s such a fun way to make an outfit multidimensional! This was the perfect outfit for spending a day in Sarasota, checking out the sights and more importantly the awesome food! The dress is from Banana Republic with deep purple Stuart Weitzman heels, a teal bag, and an orange wrap bracelet.

If you’re looking for ways to add color to your wardrobe my suggestion is this; start small and pick colors that complement each other. A great starting point is to look at the colors that pair up in nature (ex. purple and green, orange and yellow, etc).  But bottom line; just have fun with it!

Weekend  is the best time to go out and have some fun at a fancy club, so I decided to show you one of my outfits for a glamorous night out

I am wearing a black dress I found at H&M. On chest and upper back it has a see through leopard print.

Since I get cold easily, I combined the dress with a short, golden silk jacket with black leather applications (Cynthia Steffe). If you want to wear something not too expensive it is a good thing to combine it with something very classy like that jacket. This way the entire outfit looks much more expensive

The dress is pretty short, that’s why I personally like to wear black tights with it. Black pumps (BCBG) go nicely with this outfit.

426 hollowed flounces of black chiffon were sewn on in straight lines spiralling around this dress.  Construction was so confusing that I had to map the entire area with white thread so I knew which sections corresponded evenly to the other side of the garment.
