Down 14-0 early in the second quarter, Bruce Gradkowski rallied his team for a touchdown before half time.  With only 33 seconds left in the game, Gradkowski hit Louis Murphy for a 29 yard touchdown pass to tie the game.  On the ensuing kickoff, Andre Caldwell fumbled the ball, which was recovered by Brandon Myers, who also caused the fumble.  Janikowski then connected on a 33 yard field goal with only 15 seconds remaining in the game which gave the Raiders the win.

• Kansas City upsets Pittsburgh 27-24

After a 97 yard kickoff return by Jamaal Charles  on the first play of the game, Kansas City found themselves down 17-7 at half.  After a touchdown pass to Leonard Pope from Matt Cassel and a 27 yard field goal, the game was tied at 17.  Mendenhall gave the Steelers the lead again with an 8 yard touchdown run, but Cassel connected for the second time to ties the game at 24.  In overtime Ryan Succop hit a 22 yard chip shot to give the Chiefs the stunning win.

Last night I had some trouble ordering Domino’s. The guy had an accent, they forgot I placed an order already, and they couldn’t understand me because I couldn’t understand them. Kevin was being distracting so I said “shut up!” into the phone, and immediately apologized to the man, and Kevin was laughing so hard and telling everyone else. Then the Domino’s guy was like Jennie Lim? I was all, no. My name’s actually Colleen. Kevin told everyone that too. It came an hour later, and I wasn’t too hungry, so I ate 2 mushrooms and one square of pepperoni. I took about an hour nap and finally started on my RA, which was assigned maybe 2 weeks ago. I mostly pulled an all-nighter, with a few minutes of naps inserted here and there. I skipped writing (fourth one) and the peer tutoring last night, and went to breakfast with Kevin and Simon, who carded me in. Breakfast is getting really repetitive and boring and drab. In return, they promised to come to chem lecture with me to wake me up when I fell asleep, which I knew I would, even though I looked really good for someone who didn’t sleep last night. I fell asleep twice. Protesters came into chem and Borovik lost his cool. He was yelling “No!” and apparently pushed some guy. It was awesome, because no one except for a guy and a girl got up.  Everyone was still seated and staring at the people, I felt kind of bad for them after because they should have known that a science lecture isn’t the place to go if they want students to get out of class. It’s much too competitive out there. Borovik is so awesome, he said “shame on you!” to some guy in the front. We applauded him. He looked tired and sat down all slumped and everything after. Then he totally scrutinized everyone who walked in late to his class. It made Kevin and Simon happy they were there. Simon carded me into dinner too, but it wasn’t too good. It never is anymore. Too many potatoes. I had to do some Green Campus intern meeting today too. 40 or so minutes of my life wasted. I am so not doing it again next quarter. I’m sad Thanksgiving weekend is coming again, because I’ll miss staying at school. But I’ll maybe see Melissa and Michelle and maybe Henry and Jenny and Steven again. But then Black Friday after, which will suck. At least I’ll get to see the SF guys leave, which probably won’t happen again, except maybe spring break or the end of the year. I’m sad for that already. It’s already Week 9. It seriously passed by too quickly. I’m DEpressed because a third of the year is almost already over. Shang and Bonnie just finished their hour-long game of Slapjack. My hand hurts, and I finished a long time ago. Which reminds me, Dustin and Kat were being nasty again. He really doesn’t hide it well. I love how me, Chris, Melinda gossip about these things!

This was a game where many experts were picking the Spartans to pull off the upset against a Penn State squad said to be overlooking this game.  But nothing could be further from the truth, as the Nittany Lions held Michigan State to only 333 yards of total offense and caused two key turnovers.  Darryl Clark, often criticized for his lack of passing accuracy, was 19 for 27 with 310 yards passing and 4 touchdowns.

• Oregon defeats Arizona 44-41

The Ducks may have needed double overtime to get past Arizona, but they came through on a Masoli 1 yard touchdown run to end the game.  Jeremiah Masoli was 26 for 47 with 3 passing touchdowns to go with his 3 rushing td’s as well.  6 total touchdowns for the Oregon quarterback who also had 284 yards passing and 61 yards rushing.
