During my last month in Melbourne, I undertook one of the YCN briefs. I chose the M&S one because I had enjoyed working on beer packaging for my internship and wanted to try out packaging a bit more. For the photo shoot I took my friends to the Motel California, an very nice abandoned hotel.

After two months in New Zealand, a Christmas on the beach, a few sunburns, I have now made it to Melbourne where I should be starting my internship here at SouthSouthWest next week. In the meantime I have been able to explore the city and meet a lot of interesting people, like Vincent Moon who showed some of his work at the Rooftop Cinema (which is such a nice place, in the heart of the city at the top of a six story building, and “committed to showcasing arthouse, classic and recent release films in a completely unique urban environment”) and got drunk with everyone at the bar.
