<p>I’ve created a new small project. called S.U.B., an underwater battle game. The goal is to destroy the enemy battle ship, whilst defending your own from the enemy subs. Here are a few screenshots:</p>

<description><![CDATA[Os games de hoje estão com um visual muito loko, e muito disso se deve as texturas procedurais e con]]></description>
<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class='snap_preview'><p>Os games de hoje estão com um visual muito loko, e muito disso se deve as texturas procedurais e concerteza a que mais se destaca é o <span style="color:#000000;"><span style="text-decoration:underline;">normal map</span>. Esse tipo de textura tem os mesmos princípios do <span style="text-decoration:underline;">bump map</span> (textura muito usada em senas, animações e o que mais der na telha ) com a finalidade de simular relevo em superfícies planas.</span></p>
<p><span style="color:#000000;">A diferença entre as duas é que enquanto na <span style="text-decoration:underline;">bump</span> é necessário duas texturas para gerar a simulação de relevo, uma pra fora e outra pra dentro, pro <span style="text-decoration:underline;">normal</span> só é necessário uma, sem falar que a simulção da <span style="text-decoration:underline;">bump</span> só é visível depois da imagem renderizada enquanto na <span style="text-decoration:underline;">normal</span>, se sua placa aceleradora tiver suporte ao <span style="text-decoration:underline;">GLSL Preview</span> , já é possível ver o efeito em tempo real.</span></p>
<p><span style="color:#000000;">Agora, graças a essa textura o trabalho pra quem modela personagens e objetos pra games triplicou, já que pra criar ela o cara tem que modelar um <span style="text-decoration:underline;">base mesh</span>, esculpir esse <span style="text-decoration:underline;">mesh</span> e depois fazer uma <span style="text-decoration:underline;">retopologia</span> onde é criado o <span style="text-decoration:underline;">normal map</span>. E é nesse <span style="text-decoration:underline;">retopo</span> que vai ser usado <span style="text-decoration:underline;">in game</span> que o <span style="text-decoration:underline;">normal</span> é aplicado. P#%*  M*%#$ que trabalheira.</span></p>
<p><span style="color:#000000;">Mas todo esse esforço vale a pena, pelo menos pra quem vê o resultado. Aí em baixo vai um pequeno exemplo do efeito do <span style="text-decoration:underline;">normal map</span>. A primeira imagem mostra a textura em questão.</span></p>

<p>Para muitos isso é uma grande dificuldade, mais quando se pega a &#8220;moral&#8221; nem fica tão dificil assim</p>
<p>Para esse tutorial eu irei usar o seguinte objeto:</p>

<p><strong>Mapeando</strong></p>
<p>No modo de edição, selecione as &#8220;pontas&#8221; onde a malha será aberta:</p>

<p>Ex.:Uma esfera, você seleciona o meio dela i ela ira abrir a parte de cima e a parte de baixo toda.</p>
<p>Feito isso aperte <strong>Ctrl+E</strong> e selecione a opção <strong>Mark Seam</strong>, note que onde você havia selecionado ficou laranja:</p>

Ότι θα δείτε στα video tutorials έχει γίνει και στα σεμινάρια μέχρι τώρα.</p>

Since I have to keep regular on blog posts for those all-powerful search engines, I thought I could share our little project! An indoor club-house for the tots! I whipped up the frame in 3d first to have a good idea of how to make the best end resulting little french cafe.</p>
<p>I plan to finish this graphically before I pick up a hammer:</p>
