Hello Friends, Welcome to my page…Here are my latest news and wants.. FIRST: and most importan

Hello Friends,

Welcome to my page…Here are my latest news and wants..

FIRST: and most important. I really need a BETA reader. You will get to read all my works before anyone else. But I will have to ask you not to share them with anyone till I am done.. If interested please comment here.

Second: I am Looking for an Artist to illustrate some very interesting ideas for me, as an ongoing team effort. I have many “panel” comic ideas. Not a manga comic but more like a weekly strip. I asked a friend but she is busy and I don’t want to distract her form her own agenda. So if you are interested please. So I am looking for an artist to draw some news paper like comics for me that I have ideas for. A once a month strip.. I would be a different thing each time. Thank you. I have info about it on my deviant art page I would like to hold a contest for it but am not sure on what I could do for a prize. Maybe sneak peaks at my books.. “Anjiu” My DA page..

Third: I have been writing a lot for http://deeplyrootedinhim.wordpress.com and I am starting the progress of puting it in book format while re-writing some of the stuff there.

Forth: Don’t you just get annoyed about how I do that list, ;p I can’t help it though, I like to be organized. Any ways… For my personal updates..

* I have great news. My mother got office 2007 for me. Yes it isn’t the best but it comes with the word 2007 which I loved and have again!! Isn’t that awesome!! So that makes me want to write more, and I will…

* We got a new puppy. He is a beauty. When I figure out how to add pictures I will do a blog of just them or a page for you. He is so handsome, he is a Great Dane 9 weeks old. White with Grey patches and spots. He has one blue eye and one silver eye. His name is Linus. <3 AND he is a huge handful. Bur a blessing.. Furthermore my sister is buying another, which we will get in a two to three weeks. EEKKK!

That will keep me busy but I plan on writing a lot. SO PLEASE check back here often. I will let you know how I am doing as I go.. And post more Pages and Books as I can..

GBU!

~Amy Jane

Ps. Some feed back would be awesome…

Hey guys! Its kat! Ive been watching and viewing my clustermaps and views lately. I HAVE A LOT OF PEOPLE! But I have good news and bad news, as usual, i will do bad news first. The bad news is, due to many tests every week for me with my puffle middle school, me and misty are losing much time to update this blog. And sadly, my goal of being a famous club penguin blogger is starting to crash, due to me and her losing interest little by little of blogging and a little bit of Club Penguin. My membership will also expire today or tomorrow. BUT: Here is the good news: If i get over 10 comments on my site, I will keep going on for this blog (just to make sure people are viewing this blog) for a very long time, trying my best to be active, and have cool stuff in the future, being very sucessful! I will also renew my membership. So, I don’t want to miss all these upcoming AWESOME club penguin stuff, SO COMMENT RIGHT AWAY!!! It means SOOO MUCH. You have nooo idea. Please do so, because if I don’t get any comments, I will make a last post, saying I am quitting this blog. I am soo sorry…so please decide, go ahead and comment. It will mean so much!!! Thanks! School is tough, you know, but with a blog and school, education is always first. Who knows, maybe ill be famous in the future. But comment. I need to see, if I don’t get any comments about near 10 in one and a half weeks. I am quitting. THIS is a warning. Im sooo sorry like I said. School involves so much work. Ok guys, thats all! COMMENT! Thanks, God bless, Happy Thanksgiving!

love always, peace, waddle on, god bless, reports in im out:

Ah the TV psychic – a strange mix of Saviour and Con-man. Kind of like a crap Wizard.

Derek Acorah can talk to animals, he knows about their dead relatives and he wishes them well from the afterlife. He sends love from a tabby’s dead auntie by first asking the animal audience… “Has anyone here eaten a mouse?”

A little grey Tom puts his paw in the air, and Derek using his powers of perception, homes in on the terrified little fluff-ball and begins his tirade of presumption.

A dog from Derby has lost his grandad, while a Rat from Essex has caught crabs.

I do however, enjoy Derek’s dress-sense. He really is rather dapper in his Cameron-esque pink shirt (without a tie). His professional looking suits are a shell from which he establishes his death-connections. He is in fact a Death Pompadour with a permanent hot-line to the weird tank that all dead people are now stored.

Rumour has it that Derek held secret talks with Burtons with a view to market a range of Psychic formal wear; for a mere 99 quid everyone can don the uniform of the dream catcher and walk amongst the world of the dead. Your daily commute will become doubly crowded as you fight for room with Old men who died on the toilet, still clagged with celestial shite. Glum suicide victims will bore you to tears as if you weren’t miserable enough. When you finally arrive at your desk, not only will your earthly Manager be supplying the daily bollock-ings, but his colleagues will now include every other member of the management who gladfully slipped from their earthly rung. Imagine rooms full of spooky Victorian gaffers scratching their heads at Whiteboards, and looking round the back of LCD screens to see “where the words live.”

Sometimes mid-performance, Derek encounters a stammering fit and he cannot express his mental discoveries quickly enough. By ‘Mental Discovery’ I don’t mean a spiritual revelation, rather a new adjective Derek has invented with which he can obscure his weird monologue. Most of his linguistic distortion falls on an undiscerning audience however, most cocking their heads to one side ignoring the ‘facts’ in the vain hope of hearing Derek mention a departed relative:

Did he really say “Mr Cuddlekins” or did I imagine it?

A wife pokes her defeated husband in the ribs and asks, “Your auntie Jenny choked on a rabbits tit didn’t she?” Exited, she thrusts her hand into the air and says, “It’s me Derek i’m the next victim!”

Seizing his chance Derek homes in on the poor wife and proclaims, “Your uncle Johnny liked rabbit a bit didn’t he?”

Someone who heard the word rabbit suddenly jumps to their feet crying “My rabbit has a boyfriend called Johnny!”

Derek can only stand back and delight in the madness.

After hours of studying Derek at work, it is I alone who has seen the fatal flaw in his cosmic assault.

When he lies, his diamond earring glows bright like jupiter.

Remember:

“We are the infinitables of the universe”

There have been some unfortunate events at my household over the past few months. I currently live with my parents, since I am still 20 years old. During the summer there was some extreme heat and our air conditioning broke. The AC in my vehicle also went out on me and so I spent the entire summer being hot. I was too caught up in the complexities of the situation, that I took things for granted still. And now that it is creeping up on Decemeber the temperatures are going to become piercing frigid.

By coincidence, our heater broke as well. I have spent the last few days shivering cold from the temperatures and its crazy. However, through all of this I started thinking about those families that do not have the ability to use an AC or a heater in their daily lives and how tough it must be. I thought about all of the families that have to hide under tarps to block themselves from the cold rain. It hurts me to know that I have taken these two items for granted all these years without ever considering how hard it must be to not have them.

For that I am glad it actually happened; it opened my eyes to a new vision that lets me see the challenges millions of people face each day. May the Lord bless those without these essentials.

Mark 1:35-39

Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed. Simon and his companions went to look for him, and when they found him, they exclaimed: “Everyone is looking for you!” Jesus replied, “Let us go somewhere else—to the nearby villages—so I can preach there also. That is why I have come.” So he traveled throughout Galilee, preaching in their synagogues and driving out demons.

After studying the gospel of Matthew, we now begin a new journey through the gospel of Mark. As I read the chapter, I noticed that Mark has a very concise style of writing and seems to include a lot in little space, something that I should probably be doing What seemed amazing to me today is to note that Jesus, even though the Son of God, always sought the Lord God in prayer in a quiet and solitary place. Jesus with all his wisdom, abilities to heal, bless and transform people spent time with his father in prayer and that made me ask what that meant for us?

I believe we are seekers because we are constantly looking for something. When we are happy, we seek to keep things that way so as not to loose our happiness, and when we are down, we seek a way back to happiness. Some of us know the Lord and therefore seek his help to resolve our issues and bring us back to a place of comfort but this may not be the same when we are happy. Jesus during his ministry constantly sought the father whether in times of achievement or brokenness. Even though he was God’s own son and had all the power and authority in heaven, he still acknowledged his father in all things and this is something we need to do too. Do you have a quiet time with the Lord daily and do you share your joys and sorrows with him? He seeks to have a relationship with us and calls us with open arms.

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights. James 1:17

Kara and April left central Russia and traveled across six time zones to attend a retreat in Tallinn, Estonia, for women serving the Lord in Eastern Europe. because of fogged-in airports and diverted flights, they had to spend an extra $600 on air expenses. Kara felt guilty about leaving her husband to care for their two young children and to run their ministry. The unplanned financial burden added to her guilt, and she e-mailed her husband that she was having difficulty enjoying the retreat.

He told her not to worry about the extravagance and said, “God is, after all, the God who made us heirs with Him and co-heirs with Christ. The God who gave Eve to Adam. The Father who loves to give good gifts to His children. Heaven is the ultimate of this . . . but I also think that He has given us gifts to be enjoyed — and a time to enjoy them. And this time, for you, is now. Don’t worry — sacrifice is waiting for you aplenty when you get home.” We can benefit from his response.

As Kara was able then to enjoy the retreat, we too, as God’s children, can let ourselves enjoy without guilt the good things He sends our way (1 Timothy 6:17). We, in turn, can use those good gifts to bless others. —dave egner

Although sometimes we may receive from others gifts that have a hidden guilt attached, the blessings we receive from God our Father come to us by grace — and they’re unmatched! —hess

Every good gift comes from the Father.

There are 9 people in my department and their work ethic, professionalism, ability, attitude and character are all very different. Some of them do a very superficial job and spend their day watching youtube clips and movies. Others work hard yet struggle to understand concepts and updates themselves on common practice and methodology. They are honest and hardworking but find it difficult to change their old paradigm for a new one. Then there is one who has a lot of natural talent and ability, he manages his duties and things run well but he tends to dispose of his responsibilities and fill most of his day with personal stuff.
As the head of the department I need God’s wisdom so much. What is it that God WANTS ? Yes, there is the LOGOs of His word but there is also the RHEMA for want He wants to happen in the life of every individual. I am ever aware that I am blessed to be working in a Christian organisation. When conflict and difficulty arises I find strength in the Lord and His word. When a member of our team was absent and another became disgruntled by the fact that she had to cover hi load I told her that it wasn’t fair but :
1)	Remember the story of the man harvesting his crop. Some workers started in the morning, some a few hours later, some a few hours after that and some just before the work day finished. When he paid them all the same the workers who had started in the morning complained.
This story has been a great comfort to me. I have often fumed because others cruise through their day and I work as hard as I can nearly all the time. BUT I realised a few years ago is that all I need to concentrate on is myself. If you do a good job, people will know and if you do a bad job, people will know. More importantly, your father in heaven knows and WE ARE CALLED TO DO OUR WORK AS THOUGH WORKING FOR THE LORD HIMSELF.
2)	The parable of the talents in Matthew 25: 14-30. We will all stand face to face with Almighty God and be called to give account for what we did with the gifts He gave to us. I don’t think “ Oh, but God, they weren’t paying me enough” or “ I would have worked harder but my bosses just didn’t inspire me enough” or ANY excuse will do.
3)	Finally I leave you with a quote I live my life by :

This is the true joy in life, the being used for a purpose recognized by yourself as a mighty one; the being thoroughly worn out before you are thrown on the scrap heap; the being a force of Nature instead of a feverish selfish little clod of ailments and grievances complaining that the world will not devote itself to making you happy.” George Bernard Shaw

Or as a friend of mine once said “ I’d rather die young from exhaustion because of serving the Lord than die old from falling over in the shower “

God Bless You !!

…Because people in transition need help & the world around us needs people to care…

Fall is really good time to remember those who are not as fortunate as yourself. We all have needs in this current economic time and sometimes those needs can overshadow our perspective of those around us. It is good to look into someone’s life and focus on something you can do to help out – even in a small way. Sometimes we can forget how much the lack of basic needs can add so much stress to others.

This week our goal is to remember to bless people as we would want to be blessed and instead of seeing what we can’t give, we will choose to see what we can do. So, next time you have the opportunity to help someone nearby, don’t just do the least you can, don’t give your worst – give your best! Imagine if it were you, or your family in that spot and open your heart towards another. Don’t bless them for what you can get out of it, its not about a tax deduction or public kudos – just help because its the right thing to do!

Terra Firma Project is not only about us helping those around us where ever we can but also about empowering YOU to love the world around you in a better way.

So who can you help today?

This time it’s different. I didn’t mean to say goodbye. God is a door toward which the wind takes us. Open it. He is a gate. Beyond the gate another gate until you reach the last. Finally, when you least need it, the thing you couldn’t have asked for comes. It feels strange now to accept it. To look the man in the face and say, God bless. I knew it was a wound. Still, custom makes men say terrible things. But not so when he wants to be useful. Then he is dangerous. Then he might offer his life. It might have been a gift if I were able to accept it. Thank you. Thank you. And then, Goodbye. When I was young I used to sing a song about forgiveness. Now I want to know the other word for paradise.

Most people who know me would say I am not a very happy go lucky person. I might seem to take things

Most people who know me would say I am not a very happy go lucky person. I might seem to take things seriously and never be satisfied, but they don’t know the inner me. I have always been a very intrapersonal person. I think a lot. I analyse myself and the things I do. I talk to God a lot and work on my relationship with Him. I feel regret deeply and constantly ask myself if I am inline with His plans or if I could be doing better.

I have been struggling with running a new department at work. My wife and I have recently been sick. I was cleaning the fridge on the weekend and I put a hole in the freezer so we now need to spend a fortune on a new fridge. The first rain of the rainy season came a few nights ago and our newly renovated roof LEAKS!! I was up at 2:30 in the morning moving furniture and mopping up.

And yet the dominating feeling I have had during all these events is JOY !! I know ,without a doubt, that God will see me through these problems. We don’t have enough money to fix them all instantly, hopefully we can get the roof patched up before it rains again. Hopefully we can scrape together enough for a new fridge before all our groceries go rotten. Hopefully…but if not, so what ? We are still alive !! God is still awesome !! I could be dead tomorrow but if I am not I will praise His Mighty Name !!

Someone sent me a comment a few days ago mentioning his despair because his friend is dying of cancer. We are all dying, slowly or quickly, sooner or later, how great it is to fill our days with joy instead of despair. Of course, this is easy to say when you are not faced with a dying friend but there is a lot to be said for living in the positive.

If your friend recovers, you worried for nothing. If your friend doesn’t recover, you spent your last time together worrying. I think that is what Jesus meant when he said we shouldn’t worry. There’s no point. It will end when it ends. Just do all you can to use your gifts, talents and opportunities to the fullest while you have the chance.

God Bless You, spend this day KNOWING that He loves you, His ways are higher than yours and all things work together for good for those who love God and are called according to his purposes.

Believing in God! What does that really mean? Do I really believe in Him? YES, with all my heart.

Believing in God! What does that really mean? Do I really believe in Him? YES, with all my heart. Things get tough, or hard or difficult but always God is there. At least I know I can always call on Him. Does He always answer when or the way I want Him to? No, but I can always know that He is there, because I believe in His word!

Things get crazy sometimes and I am at the time in my life when I dont have a clue what to do! I’ve searched for jobs, kind of, but nothing is the “perfect” fit for me! I want to work, but I want to be able to see my kids or travel with my husband or play tennis (some day again!) and so I haven’t found the perfect job yet. Maybe I’ll start looking again after Christmas!

I’m anxious to see the kids. Only 2 weeks from tomorrow until we leave for Nashville! It should be a great week to spend with them. Will have dinner with Aunt Elva and Uncle Leland and then who knows! I need to find some fun things to do that week. I for sure would like to Phillip since he got back from Iraq.

Joshua is doing good and planning a trip with WorldRace for 11 months to 11 different countries~! Not sure that I’m excited about it but God is doing something in his life and he’s 22 years old so I need to let him do it and learn from his experiences! I pray that God will give me the strength and wisdom to get through it all! I am kind of sad that he will miss Ashley’s graduation though. Such an important milestone in her life and family should always be there for things like that! Need to start planning a party and some pictures too! May will be here before I can blink. He is still doing tons with United for Change with Belmont and all his classes and things. He doesn’t really realize how much we miss his phone calls and him, and probably won’t until he has kids of his own!

Ashley is doing good too! She is working for Pie In the Sky Pizza restaurant in Nashville near school and her new condo! She likes working for them and stays busy most of the time studying! She says her classes this year have a ton of busy work! She moved into a condo this year (which is why she is working and really loves it there. Its only a mile from the school and she only has classes in the morning so her schedule has worked out real good with work. She has been really sick this month, but I think is finally conquering it! No fun! She finally gave up hope on the baseball player that she had a big crush on for the first two years of college. Told me last week that “that ship has sailed!” Too bad he seemed like such a nice guy, but God has someone AWESOME out there for her, she just has to be patient! She met a tennis pro on her birthday, but he is 7 years older than her and we don’t know if he “loves Jesus” like Elise says that’s the number one priority! God knows exactly who it is and I just pray that she meets him soon and that God protects her from all the counterfeit ones she’s not supposed to meet! Thank you Lord that You are faithful and will give us the desires of our heart!

Bob is doing good at work, just extremely busy! Loves what he is doing though!

I’m just here working on something that God might be doing in me, not sure yet though!

God, I pray for all my friends and family, first of all that if they don’t know You they would come to know You! Help Bob and I to be a light in this dark world! I pray protection and blessing over my kids! Bless them and give them godly spouses that will treat them with respect and love them all the days of their lives and give me lots of grandchildren! Bless Joshua and Ashley and Bob abundantly today! Thank You for loving us unconditionally!

The kids and I try to do something unique to give back to our community in some way every year at th

The kids and I try to do something unique to give back to our community in some way every year at this time. A few years ago we thought it would be nice to do a white elephant sort of Christmas gift thing through Freecycle. We had left over items from a school bazaar, as well as a bunch of wrapping supplies. So we passed these items on as “surprise” gifts, kinda like a “Secret Santa” sort of thing, for others to fully enjoy.

But also, my 9 year old daughter, at the time, had just lost a special friend just before Christmas to a plane crash. Her friend was only 10 when she died with her brother and parents in that crash. And it really struck close to home. We decided to do this in rememberance of her loving and lively spirit as well. It was the first time my kids lost friends. And the first time a mother and her children disappeared from my “mommy circle” and life as a parent.

Most of the gifts were sort of like stocking stuffers or were perfect for one child to give to another. Most were of most interest to children under the age of 8. None were super expensive or fancy. But each interesting and would be enjoyed.

We completely wrapped them ready to put under someone’s tree, or in a stocking, or taken to a gift exchange. They weren’t meant to be given to some charity. We already gave extensively to several. We gave them out as surprises – the recipient having no idea exactly what was inside, except maybe guidance for age or gender.

We had a resounding response! Simply giving small surprises to a wide range of people, from a wide range of backgrounds and a wide range of stories and trials to share.

The purpose for the giving of these gifts was not really about someone not having as much as someone else. The purpose of this giving was in reflection of what kids do naturally – give to each other – simply because – regardless of perceptions of wealth, religion, etc..

The gifts were meant to carry on the spirit of gratitude to our community, both givers and receivers. To bless friends and neighbors without judgement.

Because simply… this is God.

I hope to do this again this year. Want to join me? Post in the comments and tell your friends if you like. Wouldn’t it be cool if there was a grand surprise giving to our own neighbors and community, that took place all over the world this year, besides the usual charities? To lift the spirits of a fellow stranger, without any particular reason in the world, except just to Give. It’s amazing the healing that can take place. It doesn’t have to be through Freecycle, but it can be a fun community venue, especially for smaller communities.

Shaykh Abdullah Humaid | Language: English | Format: PDF | Pages: 23 | Size: 1 MB
After the testimony of Oneness of Allaah swt and the Messengership of Muhammad , with firm belief and True Faith, one has to perform the acts of worship as ordained by Islaam. Among the obligatory acts of worship are offering the Salat (prayers), observing the Saum (fasts), paying the Zakat and performing the Hajj (pilgrimage to Makka). Besides these acts of worship, a Muslim is directed to abstain from evil deeds and to perform good deeds, so that he may achieve success in the Hereafter, as well as, in the life of this world. But, as regards the reward and blessing, there is one deed which is very great in comparison to all the acts of worship and all the good deeds-and that is Jihad! Jihad is regarded as the best thing, one can offer voluntarily. It is superior to non-obligatory prayers, fasting, Zakat, Umra and Hajj as mentioned in the Qur’aan and the Ahadith of the Prophet . The benefits of Jihad are of great extent and large in scope, while its effects are far-reaching and wide-spreading as regards Islaam and the Muslims. For an individual Muslim, Jihad includes all acts of worship and all aspects of belief- thus bringing him greatest reward and vast blessings; and for the Muslim nation, Jihad provides all kinds of successes in respect of prosperity and dignity, victory and glory-thus bringing magnificence and splendour. In this article, Sheikh ‘Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Humaid, ex-Chief Justice of Saudi Arabia, has presented Jihad in the light of Qur’aan and Sunna. Never before such an article was seen, describing Jihad in its true colours-so heart evoking and encouraging! May Allaah bless him with all His Blessings for all times. Dr. Muhammad Muhsin Khan, the translator of the Noble Qur’aan and the Sahih Al-Bukhari, has translated this article from Arabic to the English language with all its fervor and feelings.

One Year New Testament for BUSY Moms November 5, 2009 Hebrews 7:1-17 Well, I’ve already missed

One Year New Testament for BUSY Moms
November 5, 2009

Hebrews 7:1-17

Well, I’ve already missed writing for a couple of days and even missed a reading or two. There was a time when that would have caused me to feel like failure and heaped so much guilt on my conscience that I would put the NT aside and say, forget it, I can’t do it. HOWEVER, I am much older and wiser now and can see that line of thought for what it is . . . deception! So, I pick up my OYNT and read for today, letting any days I may have missed remain unread until next time around.

Great! Melchizedek . . . are you kidding me. A priest who had no beginning and no end. A priest unlike those from the priesthood of Levi. A priest who blessed Abraham. Again, the Scriptures point us to Jesus Christ, a priest from the order of Melchizedek.

To be honest, what caught in my heart today was verse 7, “And without question, the person who has the power to give a blessing is greater than the one who is blessed.”

My daughter, now almost 19, loves those times in the service at McLean Bible Church when our pastor, Lon Solomon, gives a blessing in Hebrew over us. I love that, too. Sometimes, I am reminded when I feel an abundance of blessing on my life that it may be in part an answer to Lon’s prayer of blessing over me as a part of that corporate gathering.

Do you bless your child/children? What might that blessing look like? Do you bless others? your husband? your friends? your parents?
