I guess I really shouldn’t be so excited that it’s Wednesday and the week is half over.  That’s sort of like wishing my life away, but I can’t help it!  I have a presentation to do tomorrow, and I’m nervous about it.  I want it to be over with now.  I always get jittery when I have to present to other adults.  Trust me when I can say that teaching teachers can be very difficult.  It’s like we turn into twelve year-olds when we have to sit and listen to someone else for a while.  Hopefully, my technology presentation will be interesting enough that they don’t turn against me.  (I know it really won’t be that bad, but I still worry.)

Okay, here are today’s positive thoughts and/or things I’m grateful for having/experiencing:

1. The week is 1/2 over!
2. I taught one of my favorite short stories yesterday.  It never fails to make me tear up, and I always feel like a big old sap when that happens.  Yesterday, though, when I looked out across my classroom, I saw a couple of students wiping away their own tears.  Yay!  I love it when students get that emotional connection to a story.
   
3. I am very grateful for the miracle of Claritin-D.
4. Even though I dislike Christmas shopping, I’m thankful that I have the means to buy gifts for the people I love and for the fact that those people are in my life.

5 years ago, I remember trying out the personality, family and work quizzed on Tickle.com. It is somehow accurate and I depended on the results of the quizzes to find out what kind of person I am, which when I think about it now, is not really a good thing. But I had fun alright. You know how quizzes give out very positive results regardless what kind you take. Haha.

Since I can’t find Tickle (I think they replaced it with testq.com), I shall try blogthings.com. It used to be a trend when my generation of kids just started blogging and university life. People would be posting up all kinds of god knows results on their blogs and other people would comment on it. I tried one or two for the sake of trying, but then I just ignored it because I don’t see the point of it, especially those ‘What kind of Flirt are you?’ kind of quizzes. I guess I am boring. Haha. I have my own way of making things fun for me and other people, and it’s definitely not answering random questions and be excited about it with my friends.

Anyway, I am really trying to find out whether I am introvert or extrovert and here’s what I found out.

What does it mean?

Living in Maine, in a loft in downtown Portland, with my husband. Making a living out of my writing and photography, such that Calvin doesn’t have to work and we have plenty of leisure time.

Death. Mine or my loved ones.

Sometimes I don’t try hard enough. I have to battle through the white noise in my head, and it comes across occasionally as not caring, or indifference.
